Here is my finished Snape painting for Occlumency lessons. Hope you all like it. :)
Ok So I decided to throw in a pic I just finished of a Thestral too.

Thanks everyone. He could have used some blending now that I look at it. I'm planning on doing a For Real picture of a Thestral but it'll probably be another week or so before I can start on it.

I don't know about that picture needing any blending, DarkMark. The sketchiness of it makes it seem more real, somehow. And the eyes are fantastic.

(Does anyone else think that Thestral's tail is too long? :D)

Great pics of snape! It took me awhile to figure out the threstal joke. At first i figured it was to small to see so i enlarged it then a minute latter i remebered that threstals are invisible. My cousin always said i was blonde where it counts!

That Snape is fantastic (of course, the Thestral is too. I know a good Thestral when I don't see one, and that's a great depiction of all those I haven't seen! :D). I especially like the wand and his hand, for some reason. And the robes behind the hand ... I can't stop looking at that whole corner. I like the knobbliness of the wand, too. It's one of the best fanart of Snape I've ever seen, to be honest. It is really good!

Okay........

I'm not a big Snape fan....but I'll give it a shot.

The one that has Snape up and close is not comforting. It's a great drawing and coloring, but it looks too crowded. Even though it gives off a feeling of dread.

The other one is more open, where he's holding his wand. I like that one better.

I was pointed to here about discussion..so I'm replying to what people were discussing in the other thread.

In agreement with everyone who says Snape didn't do it on purpose. I too think he's fully on Dumbledore's side. For one, I don't think he could fool Dumbldore into thinking that he wasn't. Dumbledore states many times that he trusts Snape, and I believe Dumbledore.

However, I do also think that Snape is very much ruled by his emotions. He hated James, and Harry looks so much like him that he can't help hating him. As a Death Eater and one of LV's supporters, probably the dominant emotion he felt was hate and power- James took away any power he had (school wise) and he hates him for it, and he can't get passed that.

And let's not get me started on Harry's refusal to learn it properly. If he'd been a willing pupil, then perhaps Snape could have gotten past all his feelings. But that didn't happen.

So yeah, my opinion was in there somewhere.

Wow i love it!...i lvoe how you made his eyes ( they look snake like) and his skin even looks scaleyish;)....sorta...BUT its exellent!
