Get a wand, create a spell (because I am so cunning) and make myself a witch. :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows: Then, I'd have to stay at Hogwarts.

July 24th, 2004, 1:28 am
I would go to everywhere in Hogwarts, then into Hogsmeade so i could buy something from it as a souvenir, then to diagon alley so i could buy myself a wand and also I'd open an account in Gringots bank.

First I would go to Diagon Alley and buy everything I could. Then I would meet Ginny and spend the rest of the time with her. ;)

I think that I would spend my time playing quidditch and learning as many spells as I could, then I would go to Diagon Alley to spend every sickle I owned on all kinds of wizarding things and a Broom. Then I would go to hogsmede and have a butterbeer!

first thing I'd do is probably find Harry and give him a big hug =) haha. then...i'll have to think about it..

Well it is free plastic surgery right. I'd go to Madame Pompfrey say I was attacked and have her fix me to my liking. (Like Hermoine with her teeth.) So after that as much as I could fit in. Fly, candy, etc.

July 24th, 2004, 6:55 am
I would go talk with Dumbledore and ask him all kinds of stuff..then eat one of hogwarts amazing dinners. After dark i would use harry's invisibility cloak to sneak out onto the grounds and fly around everywhere!

If I had six hours I would go to hogwarts and grab harry's invisibility cloak. Then go to mcgonagals office and take the time turner so i could tay there the rest of my life nad play quidditch and any other thing i wanted to do. I would talk dd into turning me into a wizard so i can stay in the world

Yeah, that's what I was going to say! :) Find myself a time turner, immediately!

first thing i would do is travell via floo powder to the gryffindor tower, n steal harrys invisibilty cloak, then i would via floo to diagon alley, and get me a wand and a broom. Then id take floo back to hogwarts and hang out with Fred and George and give them a few of my ideas, and learn some of their great spells and all, then id roam the castle with them, through all of their secret passages and all, then id go meet dobby because hes so cool. then me fred and george (since were not supposed to be at hogwarts) would go back to their shop and spend the rest of the time messing around with people in diagon alley

July 25th, 2004, 9:50 pm
I would go to Honeydukes with Ron :p
Then I could buy a wand...get a Time-Turner (I have no idea where to buy o steal it) and read "Hogwarts, a History".

I would experience flying a broom because that must be exhilarating and then just shop about Diagon Alley and marvel at all the cool stuff it has

if i had 6 hours in harry's world, i would first go up to malfoy and give him a long, sweet kiss, then of course i would punch him (because he's evil). after that, i guess i would hang out with harry, ron, and hermione, and then i would ask harry for the marauder's map, and go exploring hogwarts. that would be an awesome 6 hours :p :tu: :eyebrows:

I would love to meet and hang out with most of the characters. The Weasleys, Harry, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Dumbledore, Hagrid, McGonagall, Flitwick, Nearly Headless Nick, Malfoy, Snape, etc.
I would like to ride a broomstick and go to Honeydukes and the Three Broomsticks for a little butterbeer!

July 26th, 2004, 6:21 pm
I'd go to a weird sisters concert with tonks then take all the first years out, get them drunk and watch Hermione try and round 'em up!
Mwaahahahaha!

July 27th, 2004, 6:47 pm
I'd go to the Order and try convincing them that I want to be against VL and join them, than see what they talk about during meetings as I'm rather suspicious about what they really talk about, maybe they are getting drunk (joking).

Or I'd spy on Dumbledore, trying to see what he is really up to.

ooooo... In those 6 hours I would like to...

1.Chuck myself into the lake and have the giant squid chuck me back out again... sounds like fun! I'd meet the merpeople and Moaning Myrtle while I was there... hopefully!
2. Then i'd go into the prefects bathroom and try out all those cool taps and bubble baths to wash myself off.
3. I'd grab a broomstick and get Harry and Ron to give me a flying lesson.
4. I'd go to the Room of Requirement and request a whole load of magical things for me to do, as well as asking for more time. I'd like to try ouy a few spells, try out some magical sweets and have a look at some of the wacky magical gadgets. Harry, Ron and Hermione would be there of course.
5. I'd go and visit Hagrid and ask him to give a tour of the forest and show me all his magical creatures.
6. I'd finish it off by arranging to meet all the of the main characters in the Three Broomsticks to have some Butterbeer!!!

I'd probably do something stupid, like ride around on a broomstick until I crashed into a building.

July 28th, 2004, 5:41 am
I'd go shopping in Diagon Alley for an hour or so. Then I'd go off to Hogwarts where I'll meet Harry and we'll fall in love (never mind the age diff). In the case that he can't get over the age diff I'll spend my time trying to fix him up with Ginny. After that's done I'll go chill with Dumbledore and we'll discuss the whole Voldemort problem over butterbeer and lemon drops.

It's weird that I should even notice this thread, about a week ago I had a dream that I woke up on a stone floor a the foot of the trophy case in Hogwarts. The golden sunlight was pouring in from a window somewhere and there was a soft ticking noise, like a clock. It was summer so no one was there. I went to the room of Requiment where I found the miror of Erised and I wanted to look into it, I don't remember seeing anything, then I thought that maybe someone would be at the Burrow (it being summer ) and wouldn't you know suddenly there was a roaring fire complete with floo powder. So I went, and who do I stumble upon? Ginny. Only she all grown up, and I remembered. The Potter books take place from 1990-1997, so naturally it being 2004, Ginny would be around 23. I told her who I was, we sat down at a long well worn table and had some tea. I asked about the others and well, apparently Ron and Hermione got married and had 12 children, and weren't poor, and Harry...... was dead. He and Ginny had hit it off pretty well, but in the end of the war had made a sacrafice to ensure Voldy would go for sure(I don't know how but thats just what she said so I didn't question). All the time she is talking the sun is setting and casting strangely benign and .....soft....?.......shadows. I don't know it was a dream. So seeing as the setting sun might imply that some time had passed, I guess that that's what I would do if I had 6 hours in the Wizarding world. Hmm...why didn't I bother to play Quidditch at all?..... really that would have been more logical for me. Anyhoo, hope you enjoyed!

I'd go into diagon alley, where I would visit Olivanders and get a wand and then I'd cast a patronus since I'd like to know what form it would take and because it's probably the most beautiful spell of all. Then, I'd find Umbridge and place the sound of galloping horses as an infinite loop in her brain.
The last thing, i'd do is visiting Hogwarts sit down with Dumbledore for a little chat and won't leave before he tells me everything he knows, if necessary jinxing it out of him...

I would shop, shop, shop in Diagon Alley! (don't ask how I'd get wizard money... maybe Harry would lend it to me. :) ) Then I would floo-powder on over to Hogwarts and hang out with Ron, Harry, and Hermy, maybe exploring the castle with the maurader's map. I think I would have to have a ride on Harry's firebolt, too. Oh, and I would stop by Dumbledore's office to say hello.

Then I would find Bill Weasley and ask him out to Madam Puddifoot's. :)

And last but not least, I would go back to Hogwarts, find Peeves, grab his nose and scream "got your conk!"

:)

First, I'd probably pull a Hermione and splurge on as many wizarding books as I possibly could to take back with me into the "real world." Everything: history, spell books, quidditch, Lockhart's Magical Me. . . whatever I could that would teach me everything I need to know about the wizarding world. Then I'd find No. 12 Grimmauld Place and hang out for a while with various members of the Order, particularly Lupin. I'd also have a nice conversation with Mr. Weasley about whatever Muggle topic might tickle his fancy (I'd bring him a present too. Maybe a battery-powered flashlight or something :) ). I'd get some assistance sending Howlers to Lucius Malfoy and Umbridge. Then I'd travel by Floo powder to Hogwarts and sit through a Transfiguration class, go visit Hagrid with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, have dinner in the Great Hall, and finally take in a quidditch practice before heading back home.

Think I could do all that in 6 hours? I think it all depends on what time Transfiguration is. . .

^^ Mm-hm. Spiffin, wot. :p

Firstly, if I knew of the trip beforehand, I'd scan the books, and warn various characters of random things. I'd want to try and find someone familliar to hang with, prefferably Fred, Harry, and/or anyone else, really, so long as they're not a character I'd spend my time beating on for their cruel, inhumane ways.

I'd make certain to get myself a wand, a broomstick, loads of books, and numerous moving pictures. LOADs of moving pictures. Games, anything I could find, I'd keep! It would be a shopping spree, to remind me of my 6-hour trip. :D

By hour~
1) Arrive at Hogwarts on a Hogsmede trip day. Travel with familliar characters, or with everyone else on the 6-hour trip, lol, to the Three Broomsticks, passing the Shreiking Shack on the way.
2) Leave after a butterbeer (or two!) to get candy and jokes from the candy shop, and Zonkos. Pick up some wizard music, if they've a record shop, or some equivalent.
3) Get a broom, cool owl and/or pet(s), and a fitting wand.
4) Fly my broom to Diagon Alley, to Madam Malkins', and get myself loads of robes, among other wizard wear. Because Robes are COOL.
5) Go back to Hogwarts, spending the majority of the time photographing Hogwarts and how the characters '*really* looked', getting a grand tour from DD, who, of course, shows all he knows because I'm a special guest... I hope. ^^
6) Talk with people! Just plain talk, walk around Hogwarts, eat with them, Tell them some stuff about being a fan, just do anything that comes to mind.

Through all this I would be taking pictures with an endless supply of film. *laughs* I doubt I would be able to fit it all into 6 hours!

---
edit: Credo, I love yours. ^^ Howlers is a super good idea. :rotfl:

And, early on someone mentioned tryingo n the Sorting Hat. :eyebrows: That sounds awesome. I think I'd be Gryffindor or Hufflepuff to be honest, but only the Sorting Hat can help with that. ^^

If I had 6 hours IŽd:
Go to the Diagon Alley, just to see how it looks like.
Then take a portkey to Hogwarts, where IŽd meet Harry, Ron and Hermione. Try to fly with a broom. Go to Hogsmeade with H/R/Hr, where they would show me all the shops and places, like ZonkoŽs and The Three Broomsticks, where weŽd drink butterbeer.I think my 6 hours wouldnŽt be long enough to do and see everything IŽd want to do.

I'd go to Diagon Alley. Then I'd quickly try to take a look at everything there. Then I'd go up to Hogwarts and take a look around. Then I'd go to Hogsmeade and take a look around.

July 28th, 2004, 5:08 pm
i would go to hogwarts, and run around looking at everything. and i'd introduce myself to all of the professors, and i'd say hello to as many kids as i could, and i'd somehow find a way to get into the gryffindor common room so i could look at everything in there.
i'd really just love to be at hogwarts and see everything thats there. its so lush and full of little nooks and crannies. so many secrets, and you just want to know all of them.
if i had some time left over (which i seriously doubt, but lets just say i do) i'd want to go to rons house. i absolutely love ron, and so i'd want to meet all of his family (lol quite the task to do i know) but i would want to meet all of them, and then give a hug to harry, ron, hermione, and then definately give a big hug to snape

Danluver182
July 28th, 2004, 5:10 pm
I'd go find Harry, give him a big kiss, and tell him that I love him. ;) No seriously. And then I'd hug Ron and tell him to just give it up and go with Hermione..and then I'd go to Hermione and tell her to get on with it because Ron's a good catch. And then everyone would live happily ever after...if they don't die that is.

July 28th, 2004, 7:28 pm
I'd find an invisability cloak and buy it. Then I'd go to all the shops in Hogsmade, and I would get a copy of the Daily Prophet (sp?) so I could rip it up when they say Harry and DD are insane. Then I'd find some useful books and read them. Maybe if there's enough time, I could wear the invisbility cloak and hex Snape (hehehe)

If it was six hours in Harry's world in 2004 I'd snoop around Hogwarts' library trying to find out the fate of the magical world in the late 90s. If in 1995 or '96 I'd probably wander around Diagon Alley and Hogwarts. It'd be great to bump into some of the books' characters. Or grab a blunt object (a candlestick, or Flitwick) and drag Draco into a dark place emerging an hour later alone and grimly satisified.

I'd fly on a broom (that would be so awesome) and get a wand and do tons and tons of magic. That would definitely satisfy me for 6 hours.

fly a broomstick for about two hours, and spend the rest of it in a certain Potion Master's quarters....

I would want to visit Diagon Alley then go to Hogwarts for dinner, then spend the evening with Hagrid by the fire petting Fang.

October 4th, 2004, 2:39 am
I would go to Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley and see the cool shops like the one where Harry saw the Hand of Glory (That was just COOL!) and I would like to go to Madam Malkin's to buy some robes to make me feel wizard-y like. After I would spend some time at the Weasleys to hang out with Ginny and Hermione (but not too much, she can get so annoying!),kick Fudge in the you know where and tell him "You blind, idiot, man!",hang out with Dumbledore and Hagrid who are so cool. I would end it with hugging Snape and Harry (not for love reasons like half of the people on this board :p) and tell them "It's gonna be alright, let me hand you a tissue" because MAN they need some love.

October 4th, 2004, 3:06 am
hmm lets see i would probably break into gringotts and get some gold then i would go to olivanders get a wand, and then get some robes from madam malkins robes for all occasions then id grab a broom from quality quiditch supplies then i would fly over to hogwarts and go see dumbledore and ask him to teach me as much as he can as fast as he can, then once i know enough id fly to the ministry of magic and break in to the department of misteries and steal a time turner then id go back in time and kill bellatrix lestrange before she could push sirius behind the veil. once i had stoped sirius from vanishing behind the veil i would go and find Harry, Hermione and Ron. I would tell Harry and Hermione that they need to quit beating around the bush amd just admit that they have feelings for each other and go out already.
after i had settled that little problem i would explore the castle and break into filch's office and get whatever i could.
also id be on the lookout for malfoy because when i see him hes going to be in for a rude awakining.
after i finished with malfoy id go hang out with fred and george and sneak down to the kitchens and have some butter beer and mabey some of those chocolate eclares that ron love so much while i chat with dobby.
after my exploation of the castle i would probably go into hogsmead and check out all the shops and get some sweets from honeydukes and a few tricks from zonkos. after that id set off to number 12 grimauld place and strangle kreacher then id ask every one in the order tons of questions.
after interogating the order i would then head back to hogwarts and hunt down snape and curse him into oblivion.(stupid snivelous)
then i would head to number 4 privet drive, little winging, surrey and torment the dursleys. after that id go and hang out with Harry Ron and Hermione.

hmmm...Well I think I'd first change 6 into at least 24 hours! I guess I would have to start out by meeting/seeing everyone - Dursley's first, then onto LC and Diagonally. I'd want check out the Order headquaters and talk with Lupin, Mad-eye and the Weasley's. Then straight to Hogwarts. I check out all the important rooms and meet the teachers, spending the most time with Dumbledore and McGonagall. And I'd find the prefect bath and enjoy a nice long bubble bath! Lastly I would find my way to Snape's office and spend the rest of my time "bothering" him!  And b/c he would think I'm SOOO wonderful, he'd make me stay! :rotfl:

There would be so much to do! I would want a tour of Hogwarts and Diagon Alley. I'd love to visit the Burrow. I would want to have tea with Lupin and definitely, in spite of my terrifying fear of heights, I would want to try riding a broom.

Sapphire Lily
October 5th, 2004, 9:52 pm
I would want to try to play quidditch
get a tour of hogwarts
a tour of hogs meade
a tour of Diagon alley
a chance to get a hold of a wand and put a curse on harrys aunt and uncle
try my go at a potions class
and so much more

If I had six hours in Harry's world I would definately stop at Diagon Alley first.I would visit every store and by everything (assuming I had money). Then I would go to hogwarts, announce that the Tri-Wizard tournament will be held again, and become great friends with Dumbledore and Hermione. After that, I will go to the Burrow(spelling) and tell Mr. Weasley everything I know about muggles in the little time I have left, and he can tell me everything he knows about the magical world. And the very last thing I would do before leaving would be to go to the ministry and bonk fudge on the head for not believing Dumbledore the tiniest bit, and then yell at Percy for being a disloyal son. That is how I would spend my six hours in Harry's world!

Tator_Salad
October 5th, 2004, 10:19 pm
ONLY SIX HOURS?!?!?!?!?! Oh man...what would I do...oh, first I would go to Diagon Alley and buy myself an owl and a really spiffy broom (preferably a Firebolt) and then go to Hogwarts and enroll, demand to be put in Slytherin, then annoy Malfoy and make him go literally insane, and I laugh nonstop and do other annoying things, then I would go with Harry, Ron, and Hermione to the Three Broomsticks and have a round of Butterbeer! And oh, I'd drag Malfoy along too.

then i would go around everywhere with him!!!

With my six hours the first thing I would do is get sorted by the offical sorting hat (hopefully I'd end up in Ravenclaw) and get the offical house robes and scarf. After that I think I'd want to attempt a Potions class (I say attempt because I know I'd be distracted by a certain Potions Professor  ), take a Transfiguration class and a Care of Magical Creatures class. Of course I'd want to attend a Qudditch Match, demanding I sit next to etheir Professor Snape or Professor Lupin so that I can chat them up while I'm there. :eyebrows: Following the match I'd want a tour of the grounds and the castle with the Weasley Twins as my guide (One couldn't get a better guide) Then I think I'd want to finish my visit up having dinner at the head table. Thats what I'd do with my time! And if I had a half hour to spare I'd probably want to visit the restricted section in the library. :tu:

And did I mention I'd want to visit during Autumn? Hehe

Mafalda04
October 6th, 2004, 7:19 pm
I think i would of course visit everywhere, like Hagrids hut, and DD's office so i could met Fawkes then raise havoc in rememberence to Fred and George.. convince Neville that Trevor is his twin brother that a curse went wrong, and torment the heck out of any slytherin i meet!

October 6th, 2004, 7:21 pm
Well since apparation is an option. I'd go to Hogsmead and check out some if not all of the shops there. Also Diagon Alley sounds like a real cool place to check out. But only 6 hours, that isn't enough time. If I had anytime left over, I'd visit Hogwarts, but of course I can't apparate there can I?

Who would I meet? I'd try to meet Snape, DD, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco.

If obtaining a time-turner is not a valid answer, I'd...
I'd walk through to Platform 9 3/4, just to prove I could. -5 mins
I'd have an icecream sundae at Florean Fortescue's icecream parlour. -15 mins
I'd go to Harry and give him a big hug and tell him that what he has to do seems impossible, but that I, just like Sirius, DD and the rest, have utmost faith he can do it. -10 mins
I'd borrow Harry's invisibility cloak and slap Malfoy in the face everytime he tried to talk -30 mins
I'd get Angelina Johnson to give me a crash course (preferably with no crashing!) on how to be a Gryffindor-standard Chaser -1 hour
I'd go to the Ravenclaw Common Room and be really nice to Luna and really horrible to Cho -30 mins
I'd have a quick shopping spree in Diagon Alley- 1 hour 30 mins
I'd go to Hogsmeade Post Office and send love letters to Ron and Hermione from each other -30 mins (I'd have to get the letters just right)
I'd go round the Slytherin Common Room with a collecting tin- "Your galleons can help us to purge the school of mudbloods and muggle-lovers!"- and give all the money to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes -1 hour 15 mins
I'd go to 12, Grimmauld Place and cry -45 mins

Yummy
October 6th, 2004, 7:48 pm
I would go to a restuarant where I could eat the finest food in the world for 6 straight hours while having my feet and shoulders rubbed, but while not getting full and the best part - not getting fat, which I've happily been doing for 6 years. :)

There must be a place like that in the wizarding world.

I'd visit Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and Hogsmeade. And I'd make sure to make time to buy some books about the wizarding world and have a butterbeer or two. And buy lots of sweets from Honeydukes and stuff from the twins' shop and Zonkos. And ask some of the house-elves to give me some of the food Hogwarts students eat. And squeeze in some time for flying and checking out the border of the Forbidden Forest. And have Harry and his friends, including Neville, Luna, and Ginny be the ones to show me around.

Well duh, I'd go to the Room of Requirement with a strong need to find a potion to make me a wizard so I can stay in that world ;)

But the first six hours.... hmm... I'd probably tell Ron to get lost and visit with Hermione (she's age 20 at this point ;) ) since she's probably one of my favorite characters behind Harry. Then I'd duel with Harry and kick his ***, just so I could tell people I had. Then the three of us could laugh at Ron, and drink a few butterbeers.

There's plenty of other stuff to do, but since I've already visited the Room of Requirement, I'd not need to rush it all together.

I would go and find as many wizards as I could who wanted to duel me. Dueling sounds so fun.

Or

I would go and visit Fred and Georges joke shop and congratulate them on ruining Umbridges life to the fullest.

Or

I would play Quidditch, coolest game in the world to bad its not real :grumble:
