This my first fanfic and i really hope you like it :D :scared: *If anyone here is on The Next Maurauders and sees a story called Unlikely Love by Malfoybaby527 thats me*

A little backround about my character: She is shy, timid and isn't really popular. She has one best friend, Melina. Her character traits grow as the story goes along though.

Chapter 1: New Seats

"Oh how I hate potions."whispered Faith to her best friend Melina. "I know I can't stand it." Melina agreed. "Settle down,class so you can listen to what your new assignment is. I am going to pair you up in boy-girl teams. You will be assigned a potion to research and report on. I want a handwritten essay, at least 3 parchments and an oral presentation." Snape said.

"The pairs are as follows:
Justin-Finch Fletchly and Hannah Abbot; Seamus Finnigan and Lavender Brown; Dean Thomas and Parvati Patil and blah blah blah blah." Snape said. At least that was what Faith heard until she heard her name. "Draco Malfoy and Faith Amorian." Faith's heart skipped a beat and she had butterflies in her stomach. " Oh my God, how am I ever going to be able to work with Draco!" Faith thought. "What great luch, Faith! You will finally get to talk to him!" Melina squaled. "Yea sure." Faith said stuttering. "Good luck." Melina said as she moved to a new desk. Draco slid into to her empty seat.

"Have we met before?" Draco asked. "Nnoo, I... don't think so." Faith said stuttering. "I'm Malfoy and whats your name again?" Draco asked extending his hand. "Faith Amorian." she said shaking his hand. "I haven't really seen you aroung Hogwarts. Are you new?" Draco asked. "No, I'm a sixth year." Faith said sheepishly. "Ok, lets get to work them." Draco said flipping pages through the textbook. "Here is your assignment you can begin working now." Snape said handing Malfoy the papers. He then began handding other students the papers.

"Do you want to split up the work or do it together?" Faith asked, trying not to blush. "I don't trust anyone with my grades so we should do it together." Draco drawled. "Ok, but can we work without the attitude." Faith snapped. "Unless you geton my nerves." Draco snapped back accidently pushing the papers on the floor. "I'll get them." Faith said bending down. Draco couldn't help but notice how curvy and beautiful the girl was. Faith had butter toffee skin, with beautiful dark brown eyes and long silky brown hair. Faith then sat back up but Draco secretly wished she'd stayed down longer.

"We're obvioulsy not going to finish so, lets meet in the library." Faith suggested. "Fine, 7o'clock." Draco agreed. "Ok." Faith said gathering her books to leave. "Since you don't trust anyone with your grade." Faith drawled immitating him. "You can take the papers." Faith said handing it to him. "Fine" Draco snapped. Faith stood up to leave and accidently brushed by his arm sending tingles up her body.

Chapter 2: The Meeting

"Melina, I get to meet up with HIM at 7o'clock in the library!" Faith yelled running into the Slytherin girls dormitary. "Really, thats so wierd I have a library date with Harry for 6:30." Melina squealed. "Excellent, lets start to get ready for dinner." Faith said. The two girls fixed their hair, put on a little make-up and went downstairs for dinner.

Faith stood outside the library door for a few minutes before she went to find Draco. She had butterflies in her stomach and was really nervous. Then she saw him sitting at a table with a few books stacked by him. He looked up and their eyes met for a brief second before Faith sat down. "I found some books on making polyjuice potions while I was waiting." Draco said pointing to a picture in a book. "Great, at least it's a starter." Faith replied. "You look throught these two books and I'll look through these two." Draco suggested. "Ok, sounds good." Faith said trying to stay focused on the project. They worked in silence for a while looking up at each other every 15 minutes. They chatted about quidditch, their families andinterests, while researching until maybe 9o'clock.

I think thats all the work I can handle tonight," Faith said yawning. "Ok, I have quidditch practice tomorrow, so maybe we can meet right after." Draco suggested. "Sounds good." Faith agreed. "Good, how about you meet me on the quidditch field about 6 o'clock." Draco asked with a smirk. "That smirk makes me melt." Faith thought. "Ok, I'll see you tomorrow." Faith replied. "Great." Draco said and kissed her on the cheek. "Where did that come from." Draco thought. Faith left the library on cloud nine.

Draco laid in his bed thinking about Faith. "She seems really nice. I don't know how I couldn't notice her. She is really cute, too. Where are all these suger sweet fellings coming from? Lucius would be furious if he thought I was going soft. There is something about her that just seems to pull me in though. I can't wait to see her tomorrow." Draco though. He then fell asleep.

Faith didn't want to wake Melina up so she just climbed into the bed. "I wonder why he did that? Who cares?! All I want to do is look into those beautiful grey eyes all day. Watching quidditch should be fun." Faith thought as she fell into a deep sleep.

I know it was short but the next chapter is longer*:D

Chapter 3: A Bond Forms

Faith met Draco on the quidditch field 10 minutes early so she could watch the practice. "He is a very good seeker,even if Potter always beats him." Faith thought. Draco was veering around the hoops and caught the snitch everytime. Faith was very impressed. Captain Montague called an end to practice and the team members began to dismount. "Hey, Malfoy whos that girl waiting for you?" Montague asked with a sly grin. "Faith, we're working together on a project in potions class. She's knda sweet but has a little devil in her."Draco replied waving to Faith. Faith waved back at him smiling. Malfoy's blood started rushing through his body and he had a sudden lurch in his stomach.

"I know what that means."Montague said with a malicious grin. Then nudging Malfoy in the ribs. "You think shes my...no we're just friends." Draco replied quicky."Sure mate."" Montague said leaving the field. "He's just trying to irritate me."Draco thought but all doubts in his mind were pushed out his mind when he saw Faith. "Hey!" Faith exclaimed. "Hi!" Draco said."Are you going to be comfortable in those quidditch clothes all night?" Faith asked admiring how he looked. "Yea I'll be fine." Draco said reasurringly. "I'm glad because you look really good in them." Faith thought out loud. "Thanks, uh.... you look nice, too." Malfoy said turning scarlett. "We already got all the books we need from the library why don't we work on the project in the common room?" Draco suggested with a mischevious smirk. "Sounds good." Faith agreed returning his smirk. They reached the opening to the Slytherin common room in a matter of minutes. "Serverus." Faith yelled as the door to the common room opened. Faith took a seat on the couch in front of the fire. Draco sat next to her adn began unpacking his pack. Faith was getting papers and more books from her pack. They then began to work on the project only pausing to compare findings and ideas. Draco was busy working when he noticed Faith had fallen asleep on his shoulder. He didn't want to wake her so he put his cloak around her and continued working. Soon he fell asleep too.

The next day Faith woke up to find Draco next to her on the sofa sleeping. She had her head and hands on his chest. Draco felt her wake up and he started to wake up as well. "What happened?" Faith asked grogily. "We must have fallen asleep while we were working." Draco said yawning. "I guess so." Faith said stretching so her shirt rose up a little. Draco's eyes wandered down a little. "We better get back to our dormitaries before everyone wakes up." Draco said coming out of his trance.(AND DUN DUN:D ) Melina cleared her throat and they looked up. Faith said turing a slight shade of pink. "I don't even wanna know." Melina said walking back upstairs. "I hope your friend doesn't get mad at you." Draco said also turning a slight shade of pink."No, she won't. Don't worry about it, she already knows that...."Faith said stopping short. "Knows what?' Draco asked with a little bit of excitement. "Uh...nothing."Faith said turning scarlett. "No its something. Tell me." Draco said in a hushed tone, moving closer to her. "I....

Chapter 4: A new side of Draco

"No its something. Tell me." Draco said in a hushed tone moving closer to her. "I...um...I like you." Faith said. Draco was in complete awe. "I know you barely know me and everyone says you're so mean and nasty but I don't see that. I see this side of you that is fun and wonderful. I have liked you for the longest time but I was always kind timid and shy so, I never really got to talk to you. I know this is...." Faith said but Draco put his finger to her lip so, she would stop talking. "I like you, too, Faith and for once stop talking. Draco said lovingly. Then, he pulled her close gazed into her beautiful brown eyes and kissed her. Faith melted on the spot. She put her arms around his neck and put his arms around her waist. It was a rather passionate first kiss and the only it ended was because they needed air.

Melina had walked in and soon followed by Crabbe and Goyle. They didn't notice any of them were until Melina said "Snape will be coming in soon to make sure we're downstairs for breakfast. I think he will rather enjoy this sight." They both jumped when they realized someone else there. "I knew that would get your attention. Hurry up and change. I'll stall Snape if he comes." Melina said with a wink to Faith. "Thanks, Melina." Faith said running upstairs. " Malfoy, we'll stay here while you change. What happened?"Crabbe asked confused. I'll tell you later. Got to go." Draco said running upstairs.

A little while later they both came running down the stairs. "Ready" they said in unison. "Ready for what." Snape drawled. "Ready to...eat breakfast." Malfoy said quickly. "Why aren't you already downstairs? You're usually up early, Mr. Malfoy." Snape said with a cruel smirk. "I guess I was tired. Faith and I were up late working on our potions project." Malfoy said quickly. "Interesting. Ms. Amorian is that true." Snape asked turning to Faith. "Yes sir." Faith said innocently. "Draco you never came...ouch!" Goyle said as Draco stepped on his foot. "What were you about to say Goyle ?" Snape asked pointing his finger at him. "Nothing" Goyle said with a baffled look. "What about you, Melina?"Snape said focusing his attention on her. Melina happened to be a very bad lier and broke under pressure. "Um,nothing."Melina stuttered. "Are you sure?" Snape asked seeing the fear in her eyes. "Um..." Melina said shaking. "Come on, Melina,don't break." Faith thought. "Nothing, Professor Snape." Melina said panic striken. "There is something going on here and I will find out. I will let it slide this time but there will NOT be a next time." Snape yelled. He stormed out of the common room.

"Thank you, Melina! I know you break under pressure." Faith said hugging her best friend. "Lets go down to breakfast, before we get in any more trouble." Crabbe suggested. "Good idea." Goyle said. The five of them started downstairs for breakfast. The five of them sat together chatting during breakfast. Draco sat next to Faith and Melina sat on the other side of her. Crabbe and Goyle sat across from them.

"Harry, who is that sitting next to Malfoy?" Ron asked. "Faith Amorian." Harry said bitting into his toast "How do you know her?" Ron asked with a grin. "Her best friend, Melina and I are partners in potions." Harry replied. "How come I haven't heard any of this before?" Hermoine asked. "I didn't think you would care." Harry said. "True, but I would like to know." Hermoine said defensively. "Sorry,'Moine." Harry apoligized. "Back to the original question. Why is he sitting next to her?" Ron asked confused. "Maybe its his girlfriend Ron." Harry said with a shrug. "Malfoy! Why would any girl like a nasty little git?" Hermoine exclaimed.

"I know but Hermoine you have to admit he isn't so ugly." Harry said with a scowl. "Harry! Are you felling ok?" Ron asked jokingly. "Ron, I can't believe I'm saying this but Harry is... right"Hermoine sighed. "'Moine are you crazy?"Ron exclaimed. "Am I the only one who thinks this is absurd?!" "Ron get a grip." Harry said. "Alright, Harry I dare you to find out who she is." Ron said with a grin. "Malfoy, hates me. He isn't going to say a word. All he is going to do is insult me. You want to know why don't you ask." Harry replied witha smirk. "Really you two are ridiculous." Hermoine said shaking her head. "I think I will ask himand prove you two wrong." Ron said and marched over.

Malfoy was busy talking to Faith and Melina, when he noticed Ron walking over. "Can I help you, Weasley?" Draco said with a growl. "Harry needs to speak to to you." Ron said. "If you or Potter need to tell me anything you can say it right here."Draco snapped. "Its ok, Draco. Go and talk to Potter." Faith said glaring at Ron. Draco got up and went to go see what Potter wanted. "Malfoy." Harry hissed. "What do you want? Can't you see I'm busy." Malfoy snapped. "Who is that sitting next to you?" Harry asked glaring at him. Hermoine looked up from her book and shook her head. "If you must know, Potter, her name is Faith. She's my girlfriend. I doubt you or Weasley know what that is." Malfoy drawled.

Ron was about to pounce on Malfoy but Harry grabbed his arm. "Weasley maybe you should ask Granger, what it is. I'm sure she'll give you a clue." Malfoy hissed. Hermoine had put her book down and was glaring at him. Harry was struggling to hold Ron back. "Do you need to know anything else Potter? What about you Weasley?" Draco asked. "No." Harry muttered. Ron was to angry for words. "Good" Malfoy said and walked back over to the Slytherin table.

"The next time I see Malfoy, I'm going to punch his face in!" Ron yelled. "I told you it was a bad idea to ask him anything." Hermoine lectured. "At least we know but why would anyone ever consider dating Malfoy?"Harry quipped."Who knows? Maybe she likes evil little ferrets." Ron replied. "I'll ask Melina later, maybe she knows." Harry said. "Will you two stop worring about Malfoy! Maybe he will leave us alone for a while because he is too preoccupied with Faith. Look at the bright side to this. Anyway we have DADA with the Slytherins next so that will take your minds off Malfoy." Hermoine exclaimed. "Your right, 'Mione. Actually if we don't leave now, we will be late." Ron agreed. "This is a first, you actually agreeing with Hermoine." Harry whispered to Ron with a wink. "Shut up, Harry." Ron whispered nudging him in the ribs. "Boys." Hermoine thought walking out of the Great Hall. Ron and Harry soon followed.

"What was that about?" Faith asked Draco on their way to DADA. "Potter and Weasley wanted to know if you were my girlfriend. They're just jealous I found somebody as pretty as you."Draco replied putting an arm around her shoulder. "Thanks." Faith said leaning on his shoulder. "Awww! How cute." Melina teased. "Melina" they said in unison. The three friends laughed as they sat down next to each other in DADA. Crabbe and Goyle sat directly behind them.

Ron, Harry and Hermoine expected Malfoy to bother them all day but he didn't even say a word to them. "He really must like this girl." Harry deduced. It was dinnertime and the trio were sitting down in the Great Hall. "At least, he won't bother us for a while." Hermoine said optomistically. "Yup. Harry, did Melina tell you anything?" Ron asked. "Yea. She said Faith had liked Malfoy for a longtime and something happened while they were working on their potions project. She didn't say what but they have been together ever since." harry finished. "Wow." Ron said bewildered. "Why?" Harry asked. "Just wow." Ron said staring into space. "Honestly, guys. You have to get a grip. Malfoy has a girlfriedn and will be out of our hair." Hermoine said slightly annoyed. "Ok, 'Mione you have a good point." Harry agreed. "Thank you." Hermoine said relieved. Meanwhile, Malfoy and Faith were teasing Melina about how she clammed up around Snape, when Dumbledore tapped his spoon on his glass. "I have an announcement to make." Dumbledore said in a grave tone. Faith knew that whatever he was about to tell them was not good news.

Chapter 5: Dumbledore's announcement

"I have an announcement to make." Dumbledore began. "As you all know Voldemort is rising. You should prepare for the worst. I don't know how many of your parents may have to join the fight. So, far it does not appear that we are in danger but we all should be prepared. 5th years and up will have advance DADA to prepare to fight if needed. Now eat up and don't worry about Voldemort, we'll all be fine." Dumbledore finished. With that he clapped his hands and mountains of food appeared.

"Oh no, he'll never leave me alone now." Draco muttered. "Who?"Faith whispered. "My father." Draco replied gravely. "Why?" Faith asked. "I'll tell you later in private." Draco said with a sigh. "Ok, try to eat something." Faith said with a look of concern in her eyes. "I'll try." Malfoy replied. Malfoy realized he was starting to get a little too emotional and pulled himself together. Lucius had always told himto show no emotion around others. "You perked up fast." Faith commented. "Yup." Malfoy said and continued chatting. "Faith, I have a confession to make." Melina said in a hushed tone. "Ooo do tell." Faith replied. "I think I have a crush on...Harry." Melina said. Faith's jaw dropped in awe. "Melina, he's in Griffindor. You know our houses have been fighting forever. I'm cool with it but the Slytherins will snub you." Faith warned. "I know but they never noticed me before anyway." Melina said. "Thats not true! People notice you, Melina." Faith yelled. "Your just saying that to make me feel better." Melina replied with a sigh. "No, I'm not. When you're ready, go march over there and tell Harry. I'll be behind you, always." Faith reassured her. "Thanks." Melina said and gave Faith a hug.

"Oh great more homework." Ron groaned."Ron!" Hermoine scolded. "Be more serious." "I know but advanced classes equals more homework." Ron groaned. Hermoine just shook her head and continued eatting. Harry was busy eatting when he noticed Melina staring at him. She quickly turned around when he met her gaze. "Wonder what that was about." Harry thought. He just brushed it off as a quincidence.

"Draco and Faith left the Great Hall a little earlier than Melina, Crabbe and Goyle so, they would have time to talk. "Severus." Malfoy said and the door to the common room opened. "Ok, why is your father not going to leave you alone?" Faith asked inquistively. "You might want to sit down for this." Malfoy said plooping down on the sofa. "Ok." Faith said sitting next to him. "Where should I start?" Malfoy sighed. "What about the beginning?" Faith said putting her hand on his. "Ok, I guess thats best." Malfoy said.

"My dad has never really instilled anything in me except hate, power and anger. He's taught me to show no emotion and be really rotten. Worst of all he's a... deatheater and wants me to join him." Draco began. "Since Voldemort is rising again he'll be even more determined to bring me to the dark side. I don't want to be a deatheater and matter of fact neither does my mom. I don't really have a choice though. I can stall as lond as possible but he will continue to hex me until he has his way. My mom stopped fighting and just gave in. She's the only one of my parents who I know loves me. My father wouldn't hestitate to kill me if I got in his way. I have no one to turn to." Draco finished with tears in his eyes. "Draco, I'll be here for you. I'll help you get through this. You're not alone in this and your mother isn't the only one who loves you." Faith said with tears swelling up in her eyes. "Thanks, I love you too." Draco replied.

Faith pulled him into a hug and tried to comfort him. "Shh, I'm here and I won't let anything happen to you." Faith whispered as she stroked his hair. "I want to show you something." Draco said leading Faith upstairs. Draco went into his drawer and took out a little green box. "My mom told me to give this to someone I would love and cherish my entire life. I want you to have it so, no matter what happens you will always have a piece of my heart." he told her giving her the box. Faith opened it and revealed a beautiful gold necklace with a diamond in the middle of the heart. "Its so beautiful." Faith said in awe. Malfoy slipped it on around her neck and fastened it. "Draco, I don't know what to say except thank you." Faith replied. "You, don't have to say anything. I'm just so happy I have someone who cares about me as much as you do. I know I can seem like en evil prat a lot." he admitted. "A little bit but I still love you anyway." Faith smiled.

She then pulled him closer to her and kissed him. All the feelings of anger slowly washed away to be replaced by happiness and slowly his hormones. Malfoy slowly began to lay Faith back on his four poster. Faith didn't fight at all. They broke off for a moment to get some air. Draco looked into Faith's eyes and pulled her closer. Their kiss was so much more passionate this time. "Faith, I was wondering where you...****!" Melina screamed. Goyle was a few feet behind her. "That was not a very nice, Holy ****!" Goyle screamed. Their screams were enough to break apart the moment. "I'll be back later." Melina said closing the door. "I didn't realize we had gone this far." Faith said utting her shirt back on. "I'm sorry. Are you ok?" Malfoy apoligized.

"Don't be sorry. Tonight was amazing. I'll see you tomorrow. Oh and I know don't tell anyone about your father." Faith said kissing him goodnight. "Thank you. See you tomorrow." Drcao siad and kissed her nose. Faith waved goodbye nad walked to her dormitary. "Malfoy, can we come in?" Crabbe asked. "Yea." Malfoy replied. "Are you going yo tell us what happened or are we going to guess?" Goyle taunted. "Neither." Malfoy joked. "Ok, were going to bed. I guess you'll tell us in the morning." Goyle replied yawning. "Yea sure." Malfoy replied before falling asleep.

"Dish right now!" Melina said jumping up and down. "Shh! The other girls will be coming upstairs soon and you know how jealous Pansy is." Faith said happily. "Ok but in on your best friend waht would you do?" Melina apoligized. "I know, its cool. All I can say is that Draco is nothing like what everyone thinks of him. Its so much more deeper than that. I can only tell you that because I promised I wouldn't tell." Faith told her. "I understand. One other thing why were you up there anyway?" Melina asked with a grin. "He wanted to give me this." she replied holding up the necklace. "Wow , its beautiful!" Melina exclaimed. "Its a piece of his heart."Faith smiled. "Thats so sweet, Faith. I think you found the one." Melina sighed. "Yea, I think I did." Faith replied. The two girls then pulled on their pajamas and feel asleep.

Chapter 6: The first warning

Everything was fairly normal for the next two months. At least until the holidays rolled around. "Oh good mails here." Faith said looking for her owl. A grey and white owl flew down and dropped a letter for Draco. "Who's that from?" Faith asked. "My dad, he wants me to meet him at this address tonight at 7:30pm" Draco sighed. "Is there any way you can get out of it?" Faith asked with concern. "No, if I don't come, he will ust find someone to make me come." he repleid. "Your right. Just be careful, Draco." Faith pleaded. "I will." he said squezzing her hand.

Draco stood outside a large house. The front lawn was overgrown with weeds and the shutters were falling off. The place had an eerie feeling to it. Draco walked up the stone steps and knocked on the door. The door slowly creaked open and a little man about half his height stood in front of him. "Hello, Young Mr. Malfoy. We've been expecting you." he croaked. Draco gingerly walked through the door. The little man lead him to a bright lit den with a roaring fire. Draco saw his father waiting for him on the sofa and his mother was in a chair.

"Come in son." Lucius said cooly. "You wanted to see me, father." Draco asked. "Yes, I am going to ask you again, Draco, join us." Lucius said standing up wand in hand. Draco looked down and saw the wand but tried not to pay attention to it. "Answer me!" Lucius screamed. Draco remained silent. "I see you will need time but here is something to help you." Lucius replied with a smirk. He muttered a spell, that sent Draco flying across the room. "Lucius, he's still a child!" Narcissa screamed running to him. "Stand back, Narcissa!" he bellowed.

Draco slowly began to get up with every bone in his body aching. "This is your first warning. There will be worse consequences next time, Draco." Lucius hissed and apparated out of the building. Narcissa went running to her son to help him up. "Mom, I don't want to be a deatheater." he whispered. "I know but the pain will become worse soon. I'll try and talk to him but you know your father." Narcissa replied as she hugged her son. "Ok." Draco said. "You get back to school, ok. Don't worry about your father. You know I love you, Draco." Narcissa said. "Love you,too, mom." Draco said as he started to the door. "Goodbye, young Mr. Malfoy." the little man craoked. "Bye." Draco muttered as he walked outside.

"I hope he's ok, Melina" Faith said for the millionth time pacing. "He'll be fine, Faith. Stop pacing." Melina reassured her. "Hey, Faith." Draco said walking into the common room. "I was so worried. Are you ok?" Faith yelled as she threw her arms around him. "I'm a little hurt but I'll survive." he said. "Sit down." Melina said. "What did he do to you?" Faith asked. "Whatever spell he muttered sent me clear across the room. The worst part is that next time it will be worse." Draco sighed slicking his hair back in place. "Do you want to see the nurse?" Melina asked. "No, I don't want to see her because she might ask to many questions." Draco replied. "I just need some sleep." "Ok, I'll see you in the morning." Faith said but Draco caught her arm before she left. "Can, I talk to you for a sec?" he asked. "I'll meet you upstairs, Faith. Night, Draco." Melina said with a wink.

Draco waited until he was sure no one was around to start talking. "Whats up? What did he want?" Faith asked with concern. "Like I suspected he wants me to be a deatheater and I don't know how far he will go to make me become one. That means if he finds out about us, he will use you to get to me. Promise me you will be careful." Draco asked. "I will but the only people eho know how to contact him are you, Crabbe and Goyle so, he probably won't find out." Faith replied. "Yea but he has connections. I don't know what I would do if he hurt you." he pleaded. "I promise I'll be careful." Faith reassured him. "Ok." he sighed. "This is to help you fell better." Faith said and pulled him into a kiss.

Draco felt warm from head to toe. "I feel much better now." Draco said as the kiss ended. "I'm glad." she grinned. "I'll see you in the morning." he whispered. "Ok, night, sweetie." Faith said as she went inside her dormitary. Draco opened the door to the boys' dorimitary and headed straight for his four poster. "Man, I love her. She always knows how to chher me up." he thought as he changed into his pajamas. He got into the bed and had great dreams about himself and Faith. Little did he know but he was being watched.

Lucius apparated right into the boys' dormitary. "Crabbe, Goyle wake up." he whispered. "Yea." Crabbe said yawning. "Do you have and news for me?" Lucius asked. "Nothing much. Oh yeah! Draco has a girlfriend her name is Faith Amorian." Goyle whispered. "This could work to my advantage. Does she wnat him to become a deatheater?" Lucius asked. "No, but she's in Slytherin and is a pureblood." Crabbe said. "That explains something. I want you two to keep an eye on both of them. I will be speaking to Draco soon. This girlfriend will be of some use to me. Keep up the act and don't let anyone think you're working for me. I will give you new assignments soon. For now, keep up the good work." Lucius hissed. "Yes sir."they said. "Son, you failed to mention this before. Don't worry you will be seeing me soon." Lucius snickered. With that he apparated back to Malfoy Manor. "Lets go to back to bed, we'll start work tomorrow." Crabbe said yawning. "Ok." Goyle said. The two boys then went back to bed.

Chapter 7: DANGER!

"Faith get up!"Melina said. "Leave me." Faith muttered. "Get up or you will be late for class." Melina lectured. "The potion's project is due today, you better get up." "Ok! I'm up." Faith said grogily. "Good, get dressed." Melina said. "Why are you so eager to get out of here?" Faith asked. "I'm excited about the project!" Melina said happily. "You hate potions, Melina." Faith said raising an eyebrow. "I know but Harry wants to meet me earlier to make some last adjustments. Now up!" Melina said. "I knew there had to be some reason." Faith joked and headed for the showers. After Faith showered and got dressed, she and Melina went downstairs for breakfast. "I was wondering what happened to you?" Draco said kissing her on the cheek. "I got up late because someone didn't wake me up on time." Faith said looking at Melina. "Don't look at me. I woke you up later." Melina said. "Well gotta run." Melina said. "Your finished?!" Draco asked wide eyed. "Yup! See you guys in potions." Melina replied and rushed out the door. "Whats got into her?" Draco asked shaking his head. "Boys on the brain." Faith replied. "Ah! That explains something.' Draco laughed.

"Harry, slow down." Ron joked. "I have to finish some schoolwork, I'll meet you two in potions. Bye." Harry said running out the Great Hall. Ron just shook his head. "Whats wrong with Harry?" Hermoine asked. "Girls on the brain." Ron said. "Who?" Hermoine asked. "Don't know. He wouldn't tell me. All he said was that he had to finish his Potions project." Ron said stopping mid sentence. "Melina." they said in unison. "The Slytherins are going to kill him." Ron said. "Yup, they are but we can't stop him." Hermoine sighed. "It would benice if they ended this whole rilvary thing." Hermoine commented. "Yea, but I doubt it." Ron siad finishing his food. "You never know. We better go or we'll be late for class." Hermoine said. "Ok" Ron said grabbing his books. They headed out of the Great Hall for the dungeons. Faith and Malfoy were leaving at the same time.

They found a very interesting sight when they reached it though. Harry and Melina were kissing in the middle of the classroom. Hermoine covered Ron's mouth before he swore. Faith cleared her throat to get their attention. "Hey guys." Harry said turning scarlett. Melina was blushing as well. "Well, well what do we have here." Malfoy joked. "Don't give me that look, Draco." Melina taunted. "Malfoy, don't start." Harry hissed. "Draco let it go." Faith said seeing the glint in his eyes. "Look were both sick of this whole rilvary thing and don't care what anybody says." Melina said. "Fine. I won't mention anything to the Slytherins." Malfoy agreed. "We won't tell the Griffindors." Ron also agreed.

"Thanks." Harry said. "Wait a minute, since when have you not wanted to make my life miserable?" "Just consider it a one time favor, Potter. Plus I wouldn't let the Slytherins torture Melina." Malfoy hissed. "Thanks Malfoy." Harry said surprised. "I never thought I would see the day." Ron said flabbergasted. "Ron, I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to hold Draco back. Cut it out now." Faith warned. Ron just nodded. "We better sit down before anyone becomes suspicious." Hermoine suggested. "Yea." Harry agreed.

The six of them took their seats before potions began. Everyone's presentations were really good. Amazingly Snape really liked Harry and Melina's project. They had to report on an ear-popping potion. They chose to demonstrate on Harry. Faith and Draco's project worked out well, too. They used one of Snape's hairs and transformed Crabbe into Snape. He was slightly amused by this.

"I'm so happy holiday break starts today." Faith said putting her bag down in the common room. "Yea but they gave us enough homework to last a lifetime." Melina said plopping down on a chair. "Yup." Faith agreed. "I'm going home for the holidays." Melina said. "Oh, I'm staying here." Faith complained. "My mom and dad are going to visit my sister Korina in America. I can't go there and come back here in time so, I'm staying." " I think I can stay at Hogwarts if I ask my mom first." Draco said. "Oh good at least I won't be alone." Faith winked. "For goodness sake!" Melina yelled. "I'm going to do my homework now." Both of them started laughing. They did homework for a couple of hours before going to the Great Hall for dinner.

"I have an announcement to make." Dumbledore said cheerfully. "We will have a New Year's Eve ball to bring in the New Year happily and cheerfully. It will of course be formal dress only. Fifth years and up unless you're a date to a fifth year. It will begin at 8:30pm and end at 12:30am. Now, enjoy dinner." Dumbledore finished."Excellent, that will be so much fun!" Melina said. "Yea, I wonder when we should go shopping." Faith agreed. Draco rolled his eyes and kept on eatting. "Girl talk." he said to Crabbe. Crabbe just shook his head in agreement because he was to preoccupied with dinner.

Lucius dropped by that evening to see Crabbe and Goyle. "Do you have any information?" Lucius whispered in the common room. "Yea, there is going to be some kind of ball on New Year's Eve. That's it." Goyle said. "Very goo, if Draco doesn't agree to become a deatheater I will be paying his girlfriend a visit. That will change his mind." Lucius apparated back to Malfoy Manor. "Lets go to bed." Crabbe said yawning. "Uh huh." Goyle replied grogily. The boys dormitary door opened and closed and they went to sleep. Draco didn't sleep well that night. He had a nightmare his father had put him under the imperious curseand turned him into a deatheater. Draco woke up in cold sweat. "It was only a nightmare, he can't do that." he said. He went to back to sleep but was tossing and turning about the dream.

Chapter 8: Apoligies and Friendships

"Draco, are you ok? You seem tired." Faith asked. "I had a bad night." he said playing with his food. "Did you ask your mom if you can stay yet?" Faith asked. "No, my father will wnat to see me soon so, I'll ask her then."he replied. "Ok." Faith said with a smile. "Where's Melina?" Draco asked. "I don't now, I haven't seen her all morning. I guess she's packing to get ready to leave."Faith said with a shrug. "Hey, have you two seen Harry?" Ron asked. "No.' Draco said cooly. "Oh, I thought you might know where was." Ron asked. "may i ask why?" Faith said raising an eyebrow. "Melina might know." he whispered. "We can't find Melina either." Draco replied. "I guess we know where they are.' Ron said walking back to the Griffindor table.

"Lets go find them." Draco suggested. "Right after the mail comes in which should be any minute now." Faith said looking up. "Ok." he sighed. "You always change my mind." "The power of women." Faith joked. Faith's owl dropped a letter from her mom. Draco's owl dropped a letter from his father. "Oh, no he wants to see me this weekend." he graoned. "Where does he want to see you?" Faith asked. "Same place in Hogmeade's at 6:30pm." he answered. "He did say I could stay at Hogwarts for the holidays though." Draco said cheerfully. "Thats good." Faith said. "I think that was my mom's idea." Draco said smiling. His smile slowly turned into a frown when he remembered he would see his dad tomorrow.

"I have an idea, Melina and I are going shopping for dresses this weekend, maybe you can meet us afterward." she asked with a look of concern. "Yea, but don't follow me to this place. I'll meet you outside Zonko's or something." he warned. "Ok as long as it will keep you out of trouble." Faith said leaning on his shoulder. "Thanks. Lets go find Melina shall we ." he said holding out his arm. "Lets." she said locking in her arm. "Lets start with the common room." he suggested as they walked out of the Great Hall. "Pureblood." Faith yelled. "She's not here!' Faith exclaimed. "Its a long shot but the Room of Requirement." Draco said. "No, I mean no. She wouldn't be in there with Harry." Faith doubted. "its worth a try and if their not there maybe we can find other uses for the room." he said mischeviously. "Maybe." she said with a sly smile. They walked a little while longer before reaching the Room of Requirement. "Lets hope their not there." she said. "Yea." Draco replied opening the door.

"Melina!" they said in unison. "Hi guys! Were you looking for me?" she asked. "Yea!" they both said. "Oh, I was just practicing adance routine." she said pointing to the radio. "Oh have you seen Harry, Ron and Hermoine were looking for him?" Faith asked. "Nope, I've been here most of the morning." Melina replied. "Oh, ok just checking." Faith said sitting down on a chair. "Oh, glad we found you but I gotta run." Draco said. "Why?" Melina asked. "I promised Crabbe and Goyle that I would help them with Arithmacy. However they made it this far not knowing 4x4 is NOT 44, I don't know." Draco said with a wave.

"How thick can those two get?" Faith laughed. "Thicker than all my textbooks combined." Melina joked. "So, we're still on for Hogsmeade tomorrow right?" Faith asked putting on an extra pair of jazz shoes. "Yup, I invited Hermoine to come with us Melina said quietly. "Really and when were you going to tell me? hmm...."Faith asked. "Today." Melina said sheepishly. "Ok but were meeting Draco outside Zonko's about 7:00 or so." Faith said. "Oh she should be ok with it." Melina said nodding her head. "Alrighty, well let me see this dance." Faith said doing a cartwheel. The two girls spent two hours dancing, talking and more cartwheels. "Whew! Taht was fun! I haven't danced like this in months." Faith said retiring to a chair. "Yea, just remember to split after the cartwheel." Melina said demonstrating.

"You have never-ending energy." Faith said still sitting. "Yup and I need to finish packing too. Lets head back to the common room." Melina suggested putting on her shoes. "Cool, let me get my pointe shoes." Faith said grabbing her pointe shoes and stuffing them in Melina's duffel bag. The two girls hurried upstairs to the dormitary. "I wonder if Ron and Hermoine ever found Harry?" Melina said dropping her bag. "I'm sure they did." Faith said sitting on the floor. "I'm supposed to meet him before I leave." Melina said packing her dance bag in her trunk. "Oh ok." Faith said playing with her necklace. "Is Draco staying, too." Melina asked closing her trunk. "Yea his father said he could stay." Faith said. "Alrighty well we better head downstairs for lunch." Melina said.

"Yup, I'm starving." Faith said getting up. They met up with Draco on their way out the common room. "Hey Melina. Hey Faith" Draco said. "Hey Draco. How was the session?" Faith asked. "They managed to understand up to the 4 times table then I lost them." he said shaking his head. "Thats not good." Faith said. "I hope they don't take Arithmacy." "They do and are failing it." Draco sighed. "You did your best." Faith reassured him. "Thanks. Those two are hopeless." he said rolling his eyes. They all got a good laugh out of that. Crabbe and Goyle were already there eating. Most of the kids were upstairs packing so, Ron, Hermoine, Harry and themselves were the only ones there.

"I'll be right back," Melina said. "Ok." Faith said. Melina went over and said something to Ron, Harry and Hermoine, then came back. "Do you guys mind if they sit with us since we're the only ones here?" Melina asked. "Draco are you ok with sitting here?" Faith asked. "Ok." he agreed relucantly. Hermoine sat by Melina and Faith while Ron and Harry sat near Malfoy. "They haven't killed each other yet." Hermoine commented. "Thats good. What time do you want to go to Hogsmeade?" Faith asked. "Not to early maybe 11 o'clock or so." Hermoine said. "Is that good for you too Melina?" "Yea, its fine." Melina replied. "Great and oh I'm fore warning you now, we're meeting Draco outside Zonko's about 7 o'clock." Faith warned.

"Its fine, as long as he doesn't call me a mudblood." Hermoine replied. "I'll try but I can't guarentee anything." Faith said. "I know. Its fine with me." Hermoine agreed. "Speaking of the guys, they haven't said a word the entire time." Melina said looking down at them. "Lets go help them." Faith said. "Are any of you three going to say a word to each other?" Hermoine asked. "Maybe." Ron answered. "Just talk about something you all like." Faith suggested. The three boys looked at each other and then looked at them. "I'm sure we;ll find something." Draco said with a grin. "Good." Melina said and with that the girls sat back down and chatted. "Malfoy what is the one thing we all like?" Ron asked. "We're looking at them." Malfoy said. "Oh." Ron replied.

"Weasley, I have a question for you?" Malfoy said "What?" Ron asked. "When are you going to tell Granger you like her?" Malfoy asked. Harry was trying so hard not to laugh. "How do you....why do you..." Ron asked in awe. "No one had to tell me, I came to that conclusion on my own." Malfoy replied. "Harry, say something will you?!" Ron pleaded. "Um...its true and I think at least half the school, can see it."Harry said trying to stop laughing. Ron's ears were beet red by then. "Tell her, its so obvious she likes you, too." Malfoy quipped. "Really?" Ron asked shoked. "Yea everytime I made insults about you and Granger, she went scarlett. Plus she's always starring and flirting with you." Malfoy said reassuringly.

"Malfoy's right. You should ask her to the ball." Harry agreed. "Ok, when should I do it?" Ron asked nervously. "No time like the present, mate." Harry said hitting him on the back. "Guess so." Ron said getting up. Ron walked over to Hermoine and tapped her on the shoulder. "Whats up?" Hermoine asked. "Will you....will you go to the ball with me?" Ron asked blushing. "Yes, Ron. I would love, too." Hermoinesaid hugging him. "Great." Ron said blushing. He then walked back down to Harry and Malfoy. "By the look on his face, she said yes." Malfoy laughed. "I never thought I would say this but thanks Malfoy." Ron admitted. "No problem. I knew girls would be something we could all could agree on." Malfoy replied.

"Look, Malfoy, can we just end this whole rilivary thing. I mean our girlfriends are friends and we actually had a conversation without killing each other. What do you say?" Harry asked. Malfoy thought about it for a minute and finally said "Ok." "On one condition we all must apoligize right now." Malfoy said. "Agreed." Harry said looking at Ron. "I guess so." Ron gave in. "I'll start. Sorry for making fun of you and trying to kill you in some situations." Malfoy apoligized. "Sorry for calling you names and almost killing you." harry apoligized. "Sorry for beating you up and calling you names." Ron apoligized.

"Boys we have to get back to the common room." Hermoine said. "Yea ,we should get back." Ron said sheppishly starting to get up. Melina and Harry looked at each other and pushed Ron and Hermoine together so their lips met. Faith and Draco giggled a little bit when they pulled apart. "Ok, Harry lets go." Ron said still looking at Hermoine. "See, you before you leave, Melina. Talk to you two later."Harry said running after them. "I still have a little packing left so lets head back to the common room, too" Melina replied. "Ok, Draco and I can play a little game of chess I guess." Faith said walking behind her. "Really, I guess I'll go easy on you." Draco joked. "Easy? We'll see about that." Faith said walking into the common room.

"I'll get my chess set." Draco said running up to the dormitary. "I'll go finish the last bit of my packing. I'll be back down later." Melina said runnng upstairs. "What do you want to be white or black?" Draco asked coming downstairs. "Black." Faith replied. "Prepare to lose." Draco said grining mischeviously. "Sure." Faith replied sarcastically. They played three games 3 games before Melina came down and played two mroe with them. The final score was Draco:2, Faith:2 and Melina:1. The three of them went down for dinner before Melina had to leave. Surprisingly Crabbe and Goyle were missing from the dinner table. The three of them met up with Harry, Hermoine and Ron before Melina left. "I'll see you guys tomorrow for shopping." Melina said. "Alright, I have a good ride." Harry said giving her a kiss goodbye. "Bye." Melina said walking away. "Do you guys want to hang out in the common room for a while?" Ron asked pointing to Draco and Faith. "Sure." they said in unison. The five of them talked into the wee hours of the morning and fell asleep in the common room.

Chapter 9: Threats

"McGonagall, two of my students are missing, who are supposed to be staying for the holidays!" Snape yelled. "Severus, I don't know where they are bu the Griffindor common room is the last place we haven't checked." McGonagall argued. "McGonagall, they're not going to be in there, especially Mr. Malfoy." Snape said cooly. "I wouldn't be so sure about that, Severus." McGonagall said as she stepped into the common room. They found Draco and Faith on the couch sleeping, Ron and Hermoine on the loveseat sleeping anf Harry in the chair.

"Mr. Malfoy! Ms. Amorian!" Snape bellowed waking up Hermoine and Faith. "Hi professors." Faith said weakily. "What are you and Mr. Malfoy doing in here?!" Snape yelled. "We were talking last night and fell asleep." Faith said nugding Draco. "Is this true Ms. Granger." Snape asked looking at Hermoine. "Yes, professor." Hermoine agreed nugding Ron. Harry had started to wake up from all the commotion. "Well since it is holiday break we will let it slide this time but there will be no more 2nd chances." McGonagall said sternly. "Yes professor." they all said.

"Mr. Malfoy, Ms. Amorian, I would suggest returning to your dormitaries." Snape hissed. "Yes sir, we'll see you guys later." Faith said. "Yea, bye." Draco said walking behind Faith. "We're just going to shower and change now." Ron said getting up. "Yea bye, professors." Harry said running after Ron. Hermoine went up to the girls dormitary as well. "Mr. Malfoy, Ms. Amorian do not leave yet, I'm going to make sure both of you go to your dormitaries and not somewhere else." Snape said. "Ok." Malfoy said slightly confused. "Why wouldn't we be able to find our dormitaries?" Faith whispered as they walked down to the dungeons. "No clue, I think he's still a little mad about finding us in the Griffindor common room on the couch." Draco whispered back.

"Speaking of the couch, why were you two on the couch together?" Snape hissed. Malfoy and Faith stopped in their tracks and spun around. "Umm....we fell asleep." Malfoy stuttered. "Laying down next to each other." Snape asked maliciously. "We umm...." Faith said looking at Draco. "I see." Snape drawled. "Its not what you think Professor Snape." Malfoy said. "Then what is it. If you two were not doing anything wrong then why can't you give me an explanation?" Snape bellowed. "But we were not doing anything wrong but its not something you would tell your professor." Faith explained. "You have two choices. Tell me and not get expelled or not tell me and get expelled." Snape said. Draco sighed and finally gave in.

"We were talking to Hermoinr, Ron and Harry, got tired and laid down next to each other. Faith was cold so I pulled her closer to me. She fell asleep in my arms and preety soon I was asleep." Draco finished. "I see, well you can't get expelled for that." Snape commented. "You can go to your dormitaries now." "Thank you professor." Draco said. "Remember we're meeting them at 11:00am at the Great Hall to go shopping." Faith told Draco. "Yea so, we will have time to eat before meeting Melina at Hogsmeade." Dracos said. "Yup." Faith agreed.

"Hey guys." Faith said sitting across from Hermoine. "Did you two get a leacture from Snape about what we were doing on the sofa?" Hermoine asked. "Oh yea and it wasn't pretty." Draco replied grabbing a piece of bacon. "What did McGonagall say?" Faith asked. "She grilled me on what the four of you were doing because she knew Ron and Hermoine wouldn't tell." Harry said. "All gave us was a lecture on why students from other houses shouldn't be in the common room." Ron said immitating McGonagall.

"Oh no its already 11:15, we don't want to keep Melina waiting." Hermoine said checking her watch. "Draco, where have Crabbe and Goyle been?" I haven't seen them since lunch." Faith asked. "Don't know,they haven't been in the common room either. They told me, they were staying for the holidays." Draco replied. "Thats odd, those two never miss meals." Faith commented. "Oh well, I'm sure they'll turn up sometime." Draco said. "Malfoy, are those two really that thick?" Ron asked. "Oh yea, its not an act." Draco said.

"Hey Melina!" Faith said waving. "Hi!" Melina waved back. "You left just in time." Harry said holding her waist. "Why?" Melina asked. "We all busted by McGonagall and Snape in the common room." Harry told her. "Ouch! Did they expell you or suspend you?" Melina asked. "Neither, they questioned and lectured us instead." Faith said. "Thats not too bad. Well lets get this shopping started." Melina said. "Alright we'll meet up in a couple of hours for lunch." Ron said. "Yup." Hermoine said. The girls and guys then parted ways.

Chapter 9: continued

While in the dress shop the three girls met up with Ginny. "Faith don't you think this dress is a little too much?" Hermoine asked holding up a purple dress with a scope neck. "No you've got to be more daring! It fits your curves perfectly." Faith said. "Ok I will." she agreed. Ginny picked out a satin periwinkle blue dress. "Faith what do you think of this?" Melina asked pulling out a red spaghetti strap dress. "Perfect you should get red clips to match." Faith agreed. "What about my dress?" "Excellent, the gold compliments your skin tone." Melina said. The four girls bought matching shoes and make up and met up with the guys about 4o'clock for lunch.

"I'm stuffed." Ron said. "Yea we all drank way too many butterbeers." Harry agreed. Draco checked his watch, 6:00 it read. "Faith can I talk to you for a sec?" Draco whispered. "Sure, we'll be right back." Faith said. "You have to leave right." Faith said when they were alone. "Yea, stay with everyone until I come back. My father probably has spies all around." Draco warned. "I will, but you be careful too. I'm a big girl I can take care of myself." Faith joked. "Your right, I'm just paranoid." Draco agreed.

"Defintely." Faith said. Draco gave her a hug and kiss before leaving to see his father. "Where did Malfoy go?" Ginny asked. "Family business." " Faith replied with a worried look. "Harry, don't we have some last minute shopping to do?" Ron asked. "No." Harry started but Ron stepped on his foot. "Oh yea, that. We'll be back meet you guys outside Zonko's." Harry said running after Ron. "Where are they going?" Melina asked. "I don't want to know." Hermoine laughed.

Malfoy walked up the rundown stairs and knocked on the door. "We meet again young Mr. Malfoy." the little man croaked. "Yea, whats your name again?" Dracoa asked. "Tiny, sir. Come this way." he croaked. Draco followed him into the same room. "Hello son." Lucius said cooly. Lucius was standing upright wand in hand and Narcissa was on the sofa. "Yes, father." Draco asked cooly. "You know what I want and I"m not asking this time." Lucius replied coldly. "Then you know my answer, no. " Draco replied coldly. "Wrong answer. Cruccio." Lucius bellowed.

The pain spread like wildfire through his entire body. He dropped to his knees trying so hard not to shed a tear of defeat. "Lucius this is your son, NOT a servant!" Narcissa yelled. "I thought I told you not to speak!" he yelled back. She stopped speaking then. Draco was slowly coming back to his senses. He stood up and gave his father a glare of death before moving towards the door. "Son, I wouldn't turn your back on me. You never know what could happen to the person you love." Lucius snickered. Draco stopped dead in his tracks and his blood ran cold.

"How do you know?" he asked. "Oh, I have my ways but I would watch out for Faith if I were you. That is her name right." Lucius replied. "You wouldn't dare." Draco said becoming very angry. "Never underestimate my power, Draco. Its going to cost you." Lucius warned. Lucius apparated back to Malfoy manor. "Mom, I wanted to tell you but I wa afraid this would happen." Draco pleaded. "I know, Draco. Don't worry about it just protect her. I take it you gave her the necklace." Narcissa asked. "Yea, she loved it." Draco smiled. "Thats good. When all of this is over, maybe she can spend sometime at the Manor. I can't wait to meet her." Narcissa said.

"I'll be sure to tell her. Oh yea thanks for persuading father to let me stay at Hogwarts." Draco said giving his mother a hug. "No problem. Merry Christmas." Narcissa said. "Merry Christmas mom." Draco replied and started for the door. "Goodbye, Young Mr. Malfoy." Tiny croaked. "Bye." he muttered. "How did he do it? How did he find out?" he thought. "Malfoy, what are you doing here?" Ron asked stepping out from behind a tree. Draco spun around to find Harry and Ron starring at him. "Family business." he replied. "Don't give us that Malfoy! We followed you here after seeing Faith so worried." Harry said accusingly. "Look, thanks to me, she's in danger!" Malfoy yelled. "Huh? Why?" Ron asked. "What I'm about to tell you is something so personal, that if you tell another living soul without my consent I'll kill you personally." Malfoy warned. "Ok, we got it." Harry replied. "I'll start from the beginning." he began. "Best place to start." Ron said.

Chapter 10: How, when, where and why?

"My dad wants me to become a deatheater adn join Voldemort. Really he's the one who's always made me be really cruel and rotten towards others. I mean he doesn't even care about me at all! In fact, he just did the Crutiatus curse on me because I wouldn't be a deatheater. My mom and Faith are the only people who truly love and care about me." he confessed. "Wow, thats horrible." Ron said. "But, what does this have to do with Faith?" Harry asked. "You see, I knew if my father found out about us, he would use her to get to me. Somehow he found out and is threatening to kill her. I don't know what I would do if he hurt her." Draco pleaded.

"But who would be able to contact Lucius?" Harry asked. "I don't know the only people who know how to contact him are me, Dumbledore, Crabbe and Goyle." Draco replied. "Well, obviously Dumbledore didn't do it so, it must be Crabbe and Goyle." Ron deduced. "But why would they do that, actually how?" Malfoy said. "I can't tell you why but I have an idea about how." Harry said. "I overheard Crabbe and Goyle saying they were going to talk to Lucius after Malfoy talks to him, on Friday." "You knew this since Friday and you didn't say anything!" Malfoy yelled. "What was I supposed to say?! I was in the girls dormitary looking for Melina and overheard Crabbe and Goyly plotting evil with Lucius to Dumbledore!" Harry yelled back.

"Woo! Chill out! Wait a minute you were in there all that time." Ron said. "Not the point." Malfoy snapped. "Right the real questions are when, where and why?" Ron said. "Yea, should we tell Dumbledore?" Harry suggested. "No, once Dumbledore knows so, will everyone else. We need to figure this out on our own. This way no one else will find out." Malfoy detested. "Ok but we should tell Hermoine. She can figure this out before we can." Ron said. "I knew you would say that but to be honest, she can find out the truth quicker." Malfoy agreed. "Oh ****, we were supposed to back 30 minutes ago." Harry exclaimed. "Lets go and remember don't say a word to anyone." Malfoy warned. "Are you going to tell her?" Harry asked. "I don't know, Harry. I really don't know." Malfoy said.

"Where are they? It couldn't have taken that long! What if he's hurt?" Faith exclaimed still pacing outside Zonko's. "You've got to calm down. My guess is Harry and Ron followed him so, he's fine. Their only 30 minutes late." Melina reassured her. "30 minutes! Who knows what could go wrong!" Faith excliamed. "Hermoine, you try I'm not getting through." Melina sighed. "How about I try?" Malfoy said. "Draco! What happened?!" Faith yelled throwing her arms around him. "I'm ok. Sorry for making you so worried." he said. "Its fine." she whispered.

"As for you two you had us worried sick!" Melina said. "Sorry." they said. "Its ok, we kinda thought you followed him." Hermoine said hugging Ron. "Yea and you proved us right." Melina agreed hugging Harry. "I'll let you guys snog and meet you back at Hogwarts. I want to get a head start on that Potions essay." Ginny said waving. They didn't hear her because they were too busy snogging. "Its getting late we should be getting back to Hogwarts." Hermoine said coming back to her senses. "Hermoine why are you always so sensible?" Ron asked. "We really do need to get back. We're already on the teacher's bad side." Faith agreed. "My parents are probably waiting for me. Merry Christmas guys! See you on New Year's Eve!" Melina said waving. "Bye." they all said.

The five of them started to walk back to Hogwarts. "Alright we'll see you two tomorrow. Happy Christmas!" Harry said. "Happy Christmas!" Faith and Draco said and started downstairs for the dungeons. "You've been quiet is something wrong?" Faith asked. "No." he lied. You sure, I can always tell when something's wrong." Faith asked looking init his eyes. "I can't lie to you, sit." he said. "Ok." Faith agreed sitting next to him. "Father knows and he's threatening to kill you." Draco began. "How did he find out?" Faith asked flabbergasted. "My suspicions are Crabbe and Goyle are for some reason in contact with my father. Harry heard them say that they would talk to my father after I saw him today. They obviously wouldn't know that unless they were in contact with him." Draco explained.

"Wow its hard to believe Crabbe and Goule would betray us, actually could even understand how to betray us." Faith said in awe. "No clue but now we can't really talk about things in front of them and be cautious. Don't be anywhere alone with either of them." Draco warned. "Draco, look at me. Stop worring! You have to calm down, I'll be fine. Really, I'm more worried about you. Lucius is after you not me. Be careful too. I feel the same way you do, if anything ever happened to you. I love you, Draco." Faith said blushing slightly. "You're right. I'll be more careful. I love you, too." Draco replied. They kissed for a while before going their separate ways.

"I told Draco." Lucius hissed at Crabbe and Goyle. "Why, that blows our cover?" Goyle asked bewildered. "No not about you dimwit! I told him to protect Faith or something might happen to her." Lucius replied cooly. "Oh, I.... was just practicing our act." Goyle said trying to incognito his mistake. "That is not important, Goyle. I formulated a plan for you two to carry out on New Year's Eve. I will inform you of it Wednesday so, you can prepare. First, I want to see what she looks like." Lucius said. "Follow me." Crabbe said leading him up the stairs.

"She's pretty but is still in my way. Pity, if only she was a deatheater." he snickered. "Sir, should we start to spy on Potter, Weasley and Granger as well? The five of them are becoming quite close." Crabbe suggested. "Really? Associating with Griffindors I thought he couldn't displease more." Lucius said with disgust. "yea and her best friend, Melina is dating Potter." Crabbe added. "Hmm...I may be able to use that, keep up the good work." Lucius said and apparated back to the Manor. "Lets go." Crabbe said. The two boys walked out of the girls dormitaries and crossed the hall to the boys dormitary.

"Answer me now, Draco or else!" Lucius bellowed pointing his wand at Faith. "Draco don't do it! Save yourself!" she yelled. "Father let her go! I'll meet your demands!" he pleaded. "Not until you drop your wand will I let her go." Lucius snarled. Draco dropped his wand and kicked it to the side. "Son, I thought I taught you better. Never drop your wand." he snickered. "Besides, you can't concentrate on your work with her in the way. Avada Kedrava!" he bellowed. Faith started to scream a scream that shook the ground.

"Faith, wake up!" she heard Draco say. She woke up with a start. "Are you ok? I heard you screaming." he said trying to console her. "Lucius...he was making you......and then he..." she said stuttering. "Don't cry, it was only a nightmare." he said. "Try to sleep, baby." he said kissing her goodnight. "Draco." Faith said as he was leaving. "Hmm." he replied. "Can you stay here, tonight. You know in case I have another nightmare." she asked. "Well.."he said. "Please." she said giving him the puppy pout. "Ok." he gave in. "Thanks. You can sleep in Melina's bed if you want." she said. "Its ok." he replied laying next to her. "Much better." she said. "Alright, get some sleep." Draco said. All he heard was the sound of her breathing becuase she was already fast asleep. They both slept soundly that night.

Chapter 11: Hermoine's advice

Faith woke up about 9:00am on Christmas morning. Draco was still asleep next to her. Faith got out of bed and went downstairs to the common room. "Hey, Star, have a long flight?" she asked her all white owl. Star hooted in agreement. "Happy Christmas, Faith!" Crabbe said. Faith jumped when she heard him. "Happy Christmas, Crabbe! Happy Christmas, Goyle!" Faith said still a little shaky. "Your present from is under the tree." Goyle said sitting on the couch. "Oh, thank you. Your gifts from Draco and I are under the tree, too." Faith replied.

"I can't get up and leave but this doesn't feel right." Faith thought. "Oh wow, this bracelet is beautiful!" Faith exclaimed looking at a turqoise bracelet is beautiful. "Cool, Arithimacy for Dummies! Crabbe, looks like we will pass after all!" Goyle said. "Morning, guys. Happy Christmas!" Malfoy said coming out of the dormitaries. "Happy Christmas!" they all said. "Sleep well?" Faith asked. "Yea." he replied sitting next to her on the sofa. "I'm glad. Happy Christmas!" Faith said giving him a present from under the tree. "Here's your present." Draco said giving her a cute little blue box.

"Thank you." Faith said untieing the ribbon on the box. "A.....Firebolt 2000, Faith how did you get this? They haven't even come out on the market ." Draco asked admiring the broom. "It was all black but had orange and yellow tints at the bottom and in orange writing the words Firebolt 2000 inscribed. "Mum and dad pulled a few strings to get it early. After all they are head aurors." she said."Thanks, I can't wait to use it." Draco exclaimed. "Can we see it" Crabbe asked. "Sure." Draco said a tad hesitantly.

"Emeralds, my birthstone! They're beautiful." Faith exclaimed looking at a pair of emerald earrings and a silver bracelet. "Read the inscription on the bracelet." Draco urged. "The greatest thing is just to love and be loved in return" Faith read. "Moulin Rouge, my favorite movie." she whispered. "I knew you would love it." he replied grinning. "Yes, its perfect. It descibes my feelings for you perfectly." Faith said. "Oh, we have one more present for both of you." Goyle said. "Where?" they asked. Crabbe pointed to a piece of mistletoe right above them.

"Very funny." Faith said before pulling Malfoy closer to her. The kiss lasted for a minute or so. "Thanks boys." Malfoy said giving them a wink. "No problem. Whats that thing?" Goyle asked. "Melina's owl." Faith said opening the window. "Hey, Starmie." Faith said taking the packages from the owl. "Thanks for the gifts guys but we have to get ready for breakfast." Goyle said. "No problem. See you later." Malfoy said waving. Crabbe waved back before disappearing inside the boys dormitary. "You were alone with them." Draco scolded. "I couldn't just when they came in." she argued. "Ok, but try not to do it again." he said.

"Ok. I'm starving lets get some breakfast." Faith said changing the subject. "Oh good, we need to speak to Hermoine, Ron and Harry." Malfoy replied. "We can't leave Ginny out of the loop. She really id pretty cool and all her friends are away on break." Faith said. "Ok, but I don't want to tell anyone else except Melina when she comes back." Draco agreed. "Deal." Faith said putting out her hand. "Deal." Draco agreed shaking her hand.

"Happy Christmas guys!" Hermoine said to Faith and Draco. "Happy Christmas!" they said in unison. "You got Melina's gifts right?"Harry asked. "Yup. Oh by the way I have something for each of you.' Draco replied pulling out 5 envelopes. He gave each of them an envelope. "I don't believe it! They're tickets to a Cannon's game!" Ron exclaimed. "What day are they for?" Harry asked. "Any day we want to go. I did that way because I didn't know what event could come up." Draco replied. "Thank you so much!" Ron said grinning from ear to ear. "Thanks, Malfoy." Harry and Ginny said. "Thanks sweetie." Faith said.

"Welcome. Oh, Hermoine, I thought you might like a look at this book before we went to the Cannon's game." Draco replied handing her a book. " All about Quidditch. A manual and history of the great sport." Hermoine read aloud. "Oh good, cause I don't understand much about it." Hermoine said and began reading. "So, guys have you seen Crabbe and Goyle around lately?" Ron asked suspiciously. "Yea this morning. They said, they were leaving for breakfast but yet again they're missing." Faith replied. "Speaking of them, Hermoine do you have any idea of how Lucius could be contacting Crabbe and Goyle?" Faith asked.

"What are you talking about?" she asked confused. "Short version. Lucius is using Crabbe and Goyle as spies. He wants them to help him make Malfoy become a deatheater." Harry said. "Oh, he can be using apparation, flo powder, portkeys and he probably is training them at Malfoy Manor. That would explain their sudden disappearances." Hermoine finished. "Yea but isn't there an apparation border around Hogwarts?" Ginny asked. "Yes but my guess is that Lucius knows how to get around it." Hermoine answered. "So you mean to say all this time Lucius has been threatening you?" Ginny asked Malfoy. "Yea pretty much. Also for some reason he wants to hurt Faith, too." Draco said.

"Most likely to get you to become a deatheater. Lucius is sneaky and most likely has a plan. My guess is he is going to kidnap Faith before the year is over." Hermoine deduced. "But why not next year?" Faith asked slumping over. "Voldemort is most likely very weak and needs supporters. Also, this may not only be about Malfoy but about Harry." Hermoine continued. "Huh?" Harry said bewildered. "Voldemort, needs Malfoy to lure you into a trap. He probably believes its bad luck to not do this before the end of the year. Lucius assumed Malfoy would join hin but didn't count on Faith getting in his way. Now he needs to persuade Malfoy to do his bidding. Faith is his only tool." Hermoine said bluntly.

"But when would he do it? Where could he do it?" Malfoy asked desperately. "Were you listening to me? He is going to do it before the end of the year. The only way no one will notice Faith is missing is if he takes her when a large crowd of people is around." Hermoine said. "The New Year's Eve Ball!" Faith deduced. "Right, there will be so many people around it will be easier to do." Hermoine exclaimed. "Ok, we know where but at what moment?" Ron asked. "I don't know. It will have to be a moment when she's alone or some kind of trap." Hermoine replied. "Ok, I'm not going to be anywhere alone anymore." Faith declared. "Good idea." Hermoine said.

"There's one more question left though." Ron said. "What?" Hermoine asked. "Why?" he said. "That I can't really tell you. Maybe Dumbledore can answer that one." Hermoine replied. "No, teachers or Dumbledore. This is to be kept strictly between us and Melina of course." Draco disagreed. "But Dumbledore can stop them and Lucius." Hermoine pleaded. "No, he can't. Besides I really want this to stay between the seven of us, not the rest of the school. " Malfoy argued. "Ok." Hermoine sighed. "Alright enough talking and lets do some more playing." Ginny said.

"Yea, for one day lets take our minds off of you-know-who and have some fun." Ron agreed. "Ok its a deal." Malfoy said. "Lets get our coats and head outside." Faith suggested. "Excellent." they all agreed. The six of them spent the rest of the day snowball fighting, playing snaps and chess and hanging out in the Room of Requirement. (They weren't risking going back to the common rooms.) By the end of the day, everyone was tired and chilly so, they warmed themselves in front of the fire. They ate dinner with the teachers before departing for their separate dormitaries.

Chapter 12: A Surprise Visitor:

The next morning, the six friends went down to breakfast together. "So what are we going to do today?" Ron asked. "We probably should start some of our homework." Heromine suggested. "We have all week to do that, 'Moine." Ron pleaded. "Its finally stopped snowing. How about a little game of quidditch?" Malfoy suggested. "Sounds like fun." Harry agreed. "You can use my old broom, Faith." Malfoy said. "What are we waiting for?" Ron yelled. The three boys ran to get their quidditch clothes.

"Hermoine, Ginny do you girls have brooms?" Faith asked. "no but Fred and George left me their brooms so, I guess we'll use them." Ginny replied. "Excellent, lets get suited up." Faith said. "Faith, I really don't know how to fly that well." Hermoine confessed. "Don't worry Ginny and I will teach you. Right, Ginny?" Faith reassured her. "Yea, you didn't we'd leave you stranded?" Ginny joked. "Of course not. I guess we better hurry and get changed." Hermoine said. "Ok. I'll meet you two on the field in a few minutes." Faith replied. "Wait. You're going to the dungeons alone." Hermoine said. "Yea. Why?" she asked. "The whole thing with Crabbe and Goyle." Hermoine answered.

"Oh right but only I can go back to our common room." Faith quipped. "Are you girls coming?" Ron said waiting by the door with Harry and Malfoy. "Problem solved." Faith said. "Ok, we'll meet you on the field in a few minutes." Ginny said waving. "I have to get changed. I can't play quidditch in a skirt." Faith asked. "Ok." he replied. "Are you coming?" Faith asked. "Oh yea that whole mess." he remembered. "You guys and your sports." Faith muttered. Faith changed in the girls dormitary, got Draco's Nimbus 2002 and headed to the quidditch field with The six friends had so much fun. They played a few boys vs girls games and others were with mixed players. The girls actually beat the boys quite a few times. By 2 o'clock, they were all lazing in the Room of Requirement. "'Moine, are you aure you never played quidditch?" Ron asked. "Yea but I wish I had sooner. It was so much fun!" she squealed. "Great." Ron said sarcastically. "Oh hello, children." someone said coming out of the fireplace. All six of them screamed before they realized the identity of the person. ".....

Chapter 12:continued

"Professor Lupin!" Harry exclaimed. "Hello Harry!" How nice to see you all!" Lupin smiled. "Professor do you remember Faith Amorian and Malfoy, of course?" Hermoine asked. "Yes, I do remember Malfoy and now that I think of it, I do remember a Faith. How are you?" Lupi replied. "I'm good." Faith said still a little shocked. "So, why are the six of you in here and not the common room?" Lupin asked. "Well, Draco and I got in trouble for being in Griffindor Tower so, we thought it was best if we come here." Faith answered. "Oh, I see. No matter. I have a big surprise for you, Harry." Lupin said looking at Harry. All of a sudden another figure appears from the fireplace. It was Sirius!(I had to bring him back!;) )

"Sirius!" they all yelled in disbelief. Harry ran to his godfather. "I thought you were gone forever." Harry said. "When Bellatrix ambushed me with the veil, I held on for dear life. It took me a while but I eventually got out. Then I went to Remus." Sirius explained. "Wow! Can you stay for a while?" Ron asked. "Yes, we talked to Dumbledore and the Ministry of Magic, after I escaped from the veil. They dropped all charges against me because of what happened with Bellatrix. Dumbledore agreed to let me stay for the remainder of the Christmas holiday!" Sirius explained. "Yes, this is going to be a blast." Harry said.

"I believe I know most of your friends but, I'm not positive." Sirius added. "Oh yea. Sirius, you know Ron, Hermoine and Ginny. Malfoy has changed his ways and thats his girlfriend, Faith." Harry introduced. "I'm glad to hear you have and pleasure to meet you, Faith." Sirius said. "Thank you, Harry, has told us a lot about you." she replied blushing slighty. "I hope its all been good." Sirius said looking at Harry. "Most definetely." she said. "Oh good." Sirius laughed. All eight of them caught up on old times before heading to the Great Hall for dinner.

All of the teachers already knew about Sirius coming back and Professor Lupin. "So tell me more about this problem with Lucius." Lupin inquired. "Well we're pretty sure he is going to make Crabbe and Goyle kidnap, Faith, on New Year's Eve." Hermoine explained. "Really, is Dumbledore offering you some kind of protection?" Lupin asked Faith. "Well, he kinda doesn't know. Draco doesn't want anyone to really know about the whole ordeal." she explained. "Why?" Lupin asked Malfoy. "I don't need the whole school meddling in my buisness. It will be a mass of questions and taunts." Malfoy disagreed.

"I still don't think its wise not to tell Dumbledore." Sirius commented. "Yea but can we drop that subject now." Draco said slighty annoyed. "Yea, what about this New Year's Eve Ball? Are you all going?" Sirius asked. "Yea, my girlfriend, Melina is away on break." Harry replied. "Uh huh." Sirius replied sarcastically. "All of us are going to the ball." Ron added. "Together." Lupin questioned. "Draco and Faith, Ginny and Colin, Harry and Melina, and finally Hermoine and I." Ron said.

"Oh, how time flies. It makes me think back to the days with Lily and James. I have to come see you all more often." Lupin said with a sigh. All the kids laughed. After they finished dinner, they all went to their separate dormitaries. Lupin and Sirius were staying in the Room of Requirement. The next day Harry, Ron, Ginny, Draco, Faith and Hermoine talked and played games with Sirius and Lupin all day. It was a great change from the days they spent worrying about Crabbe and Goyle.

"I'm giving each of you a transportation watch. All you have to do is press the big red button at the same time while holding Faith. You will be instantly transported to the Manor, where I will be waiting for you. Any questions?" Lucius explained. They both said no. "Good. You must approach her calmly and casually so, you don't make a scene. You don't want to draw attention to yourselves." Lucius drawled."Yes sir, we understood. Oh but what are we going to do with her once we have her?" Crabbe asked. "Leave that to me but, Faith is to stay at the Manor until Draco comes to get her. I will make my final offer and for his girlfriend's sake he better agree. If he doesn't well..."Lucius said smiling maliciously. "There will be dire consequences." he finished.

Crabbe and Goyle nodded in compliance. "Any other questions?" Lucius snarled. "No." Goyle replied shaking. "Good, keep them all guessing. I'll see you both on Sunday. If you're confused you know who to call." Lucius said before he apparated back to the Manor. "Lets go get something to eat, Goyle. I'm starving." Crabbe said rubbing his belly."Sounds like a good idea." Goyle agreed happily. The two boys walked downstairs to the common room.

"Where have you two been lately?" Malfoy asked when they came downstairs. "Huh? Uh.... we've been around." Crabbe said nervously. "Really, I haven't seen you since Christmas morning." Malfoy questioned. "Uh...we've been studying our Arithmacy books." Goyle said trying to make an excuse. "Whatever. I was just wondering. Are you guys coming down to dinner?" he asked. "Yea, we were just leaving." Crabbe replied with a sigh of relief. "Oh good he changed the subject. I still think he knows about the plan but then again Lucius probably hid it really well." Crabbe thought. "Ok. Faith was hanging out with Hermoine and Ginny. I just came back to drop off my books. Lets go." Malfoy said walking out of the common room. "They seemed a little agaitated by all of my questions. They're definetely up to something."Draco thought.

Chapter 13: Worries and Doubts

Faith woke up early the next morning. She decided to stay in the dormitary since it was only 8:30 am. All of a sudden an all white owl appears at the window. "Star! Where have you been?" Faith cooed. "A letter from my parents. Long flight." Faith said as she stroked her owl. She closed the window and sat on her bed to read the letter.

Dear Faith,
How are you darling? We all miss you so much but we understand school comes first. Korina and Xavier told me to wish you told us to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. They both promise to visit over the summer. I hope Draco liked his broom and from what you have told us about him, he seems like a gentleman. I hope you like the new outfits we bought for you. You're sister insisted on the mini skirt and make-up. I didn't particularly care for that skirt but I knew you would like it. We'll see you soon, darling.

"Korina always has my back." Faith said as she read the note. She sighed when she remembered her family didn't even know how much danger she was in. "I want to tell mom and dad about this whole thing with Lucius but they would only panic. What are they going to say when they find out? What about if I'm kidnapped? Oh god I hope not! Mom will panic and try to pull me out of Hogwarts! No she wouldn't do that to me or would she? No, dad would calm her down. I guess if I am...kidnapped Dumbledore would notify them." Faith thought. Her mind was throwing questions at her a mile a minute.

"Argh! Star, what am I going to do? I want to tell mom and dad but they're going to be so mad when they find out. I'm so confused!" Faith worried. Star hooted in sympathy. "Thanks." she sighed as she rested her head on her pillow. She gazed up at the cieling thinking of what to do. "This is Draco's business and he really doesn't like many people to know. He's confided in me and I can't betray his trust. My parents are just going to have to be angry because I won't be the one to tell them." Faith thought. "I'm not going to tell them." she told Star. Star shook her feathers before hoping into her cage for a nap.

"Hey." Draco said walking in the dormitary. "Huh? Oh hey." Faith said as Draco sat next to her. "Whats up you seem upset about something?" Draco asked. "I'm ok." Faith replied glumly. "No, I know you better than that, something's the matter." he said. "Ok you got me. Its my parents they just sent me a letter and I realized that they don't know about...everything. I'm worried about what they will do if I'm kidnapped." she confessed. "You're worried they will be angry or try to take you out the school, right." he said concerned. "Yea but I would never betray your trust and...I don't know." she sighed.

"Don't worry about your parents. Eventually Dumbledore will have to tell them. Well, after I tell Dumbledore." Draco replied. "Ok, I trust you but if nothing happens, can I tell them? You know maybe at the end of the school year." Faith asked sheepishly. "Whenever you want." Draco replied. "Alright." Faith agreed smiling. "What time is it?" "9:30" he said. "I guess we have to go to breakfast." she sighed. "Do we have to? I'm perfectly happy up here." Malfoy said smirking. Faith started to walk away from the bed but Draco followed her. "Don't even think about it. We almost got caught last time." Faith said laughing.

"Yea but nobody's around now." Draco said wrapping his arms around her waist. "You know thats my weak spot." she said trying not to give into to temptation. "Of course." he said kissing her neck. "Draco." she whispered. He smiled because he knew she couldn't resist. Malfoy began directing his kisses to her lips. Faith could feel him bringing her closer to his body. They began to end the kiss but never completely separated. "We have to stop." Faith whispered trying not to give into her raging hormones. "I know but I can't." he whispered back before bringing his lips back to hers again.

"I'm tired of waiting for them. Why don't we just go to the dungeons?" Ron complained. "I guess... but only if Snape wouldn't suspend us all." Hermoine shot back at him. "He's hunched over some kind of potion or something. Oh yea Malfoy, Sirius, Lupin, Harry and I were talking yesterday. We all agreed its time to give Snape a little taste of his own medicine." Ron said mischeviously. "I like the sound that." Hermoine agreed. "Is this a new daring and troublemaking, Hermoine." Harry joked. "Harry." Hermoine said. "Lets go to the dungeons now, before Snape decides to stop working on his potion." Ginny said.

The four friends walked down the corridors to the dungeons and Slytherin Tower. "How will we get in? No one knows the password." Hermoine remembered. "I'm sure we'll find some way in." Harry replied. At that moment Crabbe and Goyle walked out the door. "Hi guys! We're just going to breakfast. I think those two are still in the dormitaries." Goyle said. "Thanks Goyle." Ron said before the four of them ran into the Slytherin common room. "Wow! Its nice in here. I always thought the Slytherin common room would be dark and eerie feeling." Ginny commented.

"Yea. We should splitup. Harry, Ron you two look in the boys dormitary. While Ginny and I look in the girls." Hermoine said walking up the stairs closely followed by Ginny. "Cool." they said and started to walk towards the boys dormitary. "You know they're in there." Hermoine said. "No, they're not. Come on, 'Moine." Ginny doubted."Thats where I would be and so are they." Hermoine said opening the door.

"Were we interupting something." Hermoine said sarcastically. Faith began to pull away. "Caught again." Draco said. "Yea. Hurry up and change so we can all eat." Hermoine replied. "I think I'll go now." Malfoy said walking out the room and down the stairs to the boys dormitary. "Are you crazy?!" Ginny said as she closed the door. "No I'm not. We were talking and I said lets get to go to breakfast but he said he didn't want to go. Then, I tried to walk away but he kind of...changed my mind." she replied grinning. "Really? How convincing was he or did you just give in?" Hermoine answered. "A little bit of both but you would have had the same diliema with Ron." she pointed out. "True. Very true." Hermoine admitted.

"There you are! Where have you been?!" Ron asked. "In the girls dormitary." he replied smirking. "You didn't!" Harry yelled. "No...Hermoine and Ginny walked in." Draco said deviously. "Oh, I see so, if they wouldn't have walked in something could have happened." Harry said "Maybe." he replied with a shrug. "Anyway I think we should enact our plan today." Ron said. "You mean on Snape. Most definetely. I got the fake eggs right here." Draco said opening her drawer to reveal two eggs the size of a football. "When Snape tried to crack open the eggs, two mechanicaol do-do birds are going to spring out and destroy everything in sight. By the way thank Fred and George for the eggs when you see them." Harry snickered.

"Sure. Snape is probably in the Potions room so, we should eat first." Ron replied. "Good idea. Once I change." Draco said. "Yea the teachers may have a problem with you staying in sweats all day." Harry replied. "Oh yea, just a fair warning. Pretty soon you're going to get caught by a teacher, so cool it." Ron said. "I know but each time it gets harder to stop." he confessed. "I understand where your coming from but you understand what I'm telling you right?" Ron asked. "Yea, I get it." Malfoy muttered. "Wait a minute! Each time it gets harder!" Ron yelled. "Don't worry about it." Draco yelled walking to the bathrooms.

Chapter 14: Snape and the attack of the do-do birds

"Ok, how are we going to sneak the mechanical eggs in the Potions room?" Sirius asked finishing his orange juice. "Easy, a distraction." Harry answered. "Who's gonna distract him?" Faith asked. All of their heads looked towards her. "Me?! Why am I the bait?" she complained. "You're the best actress. All you have to do is pretend you slipped by his door or something." Draco reassured her. "Snape's not gonna care if I slipped!" she detested. "You'll think of something." Draco encouraged. "A little help please. I'm fresh out of ideas." she said reluctantly. "Um.....I got it!" Hermoine said snapping her fingers. "Why don't both of you distract Snape?" she said smiling deviously.

"What do you mean? This isn't going to get us expelled is it?" Draco asked hesitantly. "No...maybe detention but he favors Slytherins anyway." she replied. "Thanks but what are we doing?" Faith asked raising an eyebrow. Hermoine smirked slightly. "You want us to make out in front of Snape!" she yelled. Ron, Harry, Ginny, Lupin and Sirius were trying not to laugh. "Are you mad?! Snape may favor us but he's not going to let this one slide." Malfoy disputed. "It will only work with you two because Snape might actually expell Hermoine and I" Ron clarified. "Don't you want to pay back Snape for all the torture he's put us through?" Harry asked.

"Well, yea but he's never really done anything to me." Malfoy said trying to get out of it. "Remus and I will smooth things over with him." Sirius volunteered. "We will?" Remus said dumbfounded. "Yes, we will. Faith and Malfoy aren't going to get in expelled." Sirius said. "Now ,Padfoot, how are we going to do that?" Lupin asked in a matter of fact tone. "Oh I have my ways but how he goes on about Slytherin...you'll be fine." he doubted. Malfoy and Faith looked at each other and finally said ok. "Excellent. Lets enact Snape's Dooms Day Plan Extraordinare!" Ginny said excitedly.

The six friends, Sirius and Lupin started downstairs to the dungeons. "You have the eggs." Ron asked Draco. "Right here." he said handing the bag to him. "Ok. There's the room now." Harry said looking at Snape stirring his potion. "We'll stay in this corridor. Once Snape comes out we'll sneak in. You have to keep him occupied until we're safe." Ginny explained. "That should be fun." Faith said sarcastically. "We'll watch from here so, we will know when to go and you both have to make enough noise to make him come outside." Hermoine added. "Duh." Faith said before she and Draco walked away.

"Ok where is the best spot?' Draco searched. "The wall next to the door is good." Faith replied. Malfoy pinned Faith to the wall and began to kiss her. Faith made low moaning sounds to get Snape's attention. "They're good. They're really good." they said. "Snape's already taking the bait." Ginny squealed. "Mr. Malfoy! Ms. Amorian! I just seem to be running into both of you very often." he snickered. They both jumped. "We were on our way to the Tower." Faith said quickly. "Oh, I see, you had to stop and kiss! That maked perfect sense!" he yelled. "Really we were." Draco said. "I don't care! Everytime I see you two something suspicious is going on. I'm taking you to Dumbledore!" Snape bellowed walking them towards Dumbledore's office. "Help." Faith mouthed to Hermoine when she saw them running out the classroom. "Bloody hell. I didn't think Snape would get so angry." Ron said. "They are going to kill us." Ginny said. "All we can do it wait." Harry sighed.

"Sherbet lemon!" Snape said. Snape made them walk upstairs first. "Oh no we're dead." Faith whispered. "Oh yea." he whispered back. "Come in." Dumbledore said humbly. "Severus what brings you here?" "I found Mr.Malfoy and Ms. Amorian by my classroom kissing, not to mention I have seen them lurking around together before." he explained. "Well, I'm sure there is a logical expanation." Dumbledore replied. "Well I would certainly like to hear it." Snape said looking at them coldly. "Professor, we never did anything more than that, I swear." Faith pleaded. "I don't believe you did either. Severus this is just a case of teenage hormones nothing more." Dumbledore declared.

"Fine." Snape replied cooly. "If the headmaster believes you then, I must be wrong."You may go Severus, I would like to speak to Mr. Malfoy and Ms.Amorian alone please." Dumbledore said. Snape nodded and walked out. "Please sit." Dumbledore said motioning to the chairs in front of him. "Have we done something wrong, Professor?" Faith asked. "No my dear. I just want to clear up a few things." he replied calmly. "Sure." Malfoy said apprehensively. "Why were you by Professor Snape's classroom?" he asked looking at Faith. "We have to pass the classroom to get to our common room." Malfoy said innocently. "Oh I see and what does Professor Snape mean by lurking around?" he asked still looking at Faith.

"Uh.. he caught us sleeping next to each other on the sofa but we were just talking most of the night." Faith said just as innocently. "Alright I was just clarifying those details. I didn't want Severus to innfluence your answers. Is there anything else you wish to tell me?" Dumbledore asked now directing his eyes towards Draco. "Um.. no sir." Draco lied. Dumbledore reared his head back in his chair and looked at Draco suspiciously. It was if he knew something they didn't. "Very well then. You may go." Dumbledore said suspiciously. "Thank you sir." Faith said. They both got up and left. "You're not going to tell Dumbledore about your dad ever." Faith asked on their way back to the Potions room. "Soon but not now." Draco replied.

"Ok. I don't believe Snape took us to Dumbledore!" Faith yelled angerily. "I'm more surprised he agreed with him." Draco replied in awe. "I guess the Slytherin thing came into play." Faith said deviously. "There you guys are! What happened?" Ron asked. "He took us to Dumbledore, yelled, then Dumbledore dismissed it as teenage hormones and let us go." Faith explained. "Snape even admitted Dumbledore was right." Draco said in awe. "What? He never agrees with him! You guys are so lucky you're in Slytherin or you would be suspended right now." Ron said green with envy. "Yea but he still wasn't happy about it." Faith told Ron. "Are you guys mad at us for making you so it?" Ginny asked troubled. "No, it was a mutual decision. Did our work pay off?" Draco asked. "He's just about to add the eggs now." Hermoine said excitedly.

All eight of them went silent when Snape cracked open the eggs. Snape cracked open the eggs and dropped the shells on the floor. In less than a second two mechanical do-do birds flew around the room causing all kinds of mayhem. The birds flew around the room messing up the room. Snape started jumping up and down trying to grad the birds but accidently knocked over the cauldron spilling the potion all over the floor. "Come here you stupid bird!" Snape yelled before he slipped on the potion. "Ahh!!" Snape yelled before he fell on his bum. The second bird flew on top of his head and starts pecking at him. "Why me? Why me?!" Snape cried covered in sticky potion mess.

The two birds began to fly out the door, when out of no where Crookchanks eats them! "Oh no!" Hermoine said. "Crookshanks! Bad kitty! Spit them up!" Hermoine whispered at her cat. Crookshanks spit up the dismembered birds and trotted away. By then all eight of them were doubled over with laughter. Ron was using the wall to hold him up, while Harry used Sirius. "WHAT WAS THAT! When I find out who did this I'm goimg to EXPELL THEM!!!" Snape bellowed before storming out of the Potions room leaving little sticky footprints in his path. "Oh my god! That was so funny!" Ginny said trying to calm down. "I've never seen Snape cry." Faith said practically crying from laughter herself. "Oh please! When we were all in school together, Snape used to go and bawl like a baby!" Sirius corrected.

"Its hard to imagine Snape crying because he is so mean." Hermoine added. "Ron, are you going to be ok?" Harry asked his red-faced friend. "Yea, I'll be fine but that was so hilarious. I've never seen Snape act so ridiculous." Ron replied still laughing. "Come on Ron. Lets go to a place where you can laugh all you want without Snape returning and expelling us all." Hermoine suggested. "Good idea, 'Moine. I've had enough trouble for one day." Faith said relieved. "I second that a motion." Draco agreed.

"Oh yea and I just wanted to apologize again for putting you up to it." Hermoine said quietly. "Don't worry about it. We're not in trouble but we will next time." Faith reassured her. "It was worth it though." Malfoy said gladly. "Right. Can we discuss this in the Room of Requirement so, Snape doesn't kill us all." Ginny said agitated. "Ok, Gin but lets get lunch first." Ron replied. "Just like you, Ron, to think about food right now." Hermoine sighed. The six friends spent the rest of the week finishing homework. Sirius and Lupin went back to Lupin's house to pick up a few things for Sunday. They returned with the rest of the students on Saturday.

Chapter 15: The trouble with Pansy

"Melina!" Harry exclaimed as he picked his girlfriend up by the waist. "Harry, put me down." Melina exclaimed. "Ok." Harry said before kissing her. "Hey!" Faith exclaimed. "Hey Faith!" Melina yelled hugging her best friend. "Hi Draco." Melina said. "Hello Melina." he replied. "Mione, Ron and Ginny of course." Melina said waving. "How was your vacation?" Hermoine asked. "Boring, none of my younger cousins could visit so, I was stuck with adults all week." she said making a bored face. "I missed you guys so, whats new?" Melina asked. "Before we get into our week, I want you to meet someone." Harry said waving as Sirius stepped off the train with Professor Lupin.

"Oh my gosh! Harry it can't be!" Melina said in awe. "Yes, this is my godfather, Sirius and Professor Lupin." Harry replied standing next to his godfather. "You must be Melina. It's a pleasure to meet you." Sirius said extending his hand. "It's great to meet you as well. Hello Professor Lupin." Melina said shaking Sirius' hand. "Yes nice to see you, too." Lupin smiled. "Why don't we go inside it's a bit chilly out here." Ginny suggested. "Yea, I want to drop off my things in the dormitary." Melina agreed. "Alright, Remus and I will meet you all in the Room of Requirement then." Sirius said. "Ok." they agreed.

"So what have I missed?" Melina asked on their way to Slytherin Tower. "Oh you missed Snape fall on his bum and cry because a couple of birds destroyed the Potions room." Ron said. "Oh no! You guys are pure evil yet brilliant." Melina snickered. "Oh yea and the three of us beat all the boys at quidditch!" Hermoine added. "You had to add that in." Ron said. "Aww! That must have been hilarious! Wait right here I'll only be a minute." Melina said running into the common room. "Well what do we have here?" Pansy said strolling out of the common room. "Buzz off, Pansy." Faith growled.

"As if you're gonna make me. What are you doing here?" Pansy asked eyeing the Griffindors. "None of you business, Parkinson." Melina growled coming out of the common room. "Since when do you stick up for Griffindors?" Pansy replied menacingly. Melina looked at Harry and he nodded. "Since I started dating one!" Melina yelled back. "What?! You're so pathetic! Which one Weasel or Potty or is the mudblood." she snickered. "It's Harry and don't you dare make fun of my friends." Melina hissed. "I've never seen her so angry." Draco whispered to Faith. "Friends! I take it you're friends with them, too." Pansy hissed glaring at Faith. "Yes." Faith replied coldly.

"See Drackie. She's not a true Slytherin." Pansy purred at Malfoy stroking his arm. "Don't touch me, Parkinson." Malfoy hissed pulling his arm out of her grasp. "Keep your slimy hands and eyes away from my boyfriend, Pansy." Faith warned, her eyes narrowing. "Shut up *****!" Pansy yelled. "Who do you think you're talking to? Obviously not me! Why don't you take your jealous, bratty, pug- face self and step?!" Faith yelled. "No you little slut. I can take you and your traitor of a friend." Pansy shot back. "Nobody talks about my friends and gets away with it but you're not even worth the fight." Faith growled.

"Pansy, it's seven against one what are the odds?" Harry snickered. "Fine but this isn't over. I'll leave you with a little present though." Pansy said before she slapped Faith. Ron saw Draco about to make a move towards Pansy but stopped him. "You can't hit a girl, even if she doesn't look like one." Ron hissed. "You!" Faith said before she lunged at Pansy. It took Hermoine, Harry and Melina's strength to pull Faith off of Pansy. Ginny was holding Pansy's arms. "Let go of me weasel!" Pansy yelled. "Whats going on here?" Lupin asked. Ginny let go of Pansy before she stormed off.

“You guys can let go of me now.” Faith said. “What’s going on here?” Lupin exclaimed. “Pansy getting up in everybody’s face.” Faith growled. “She slapped Faith and said some pretty rude things about us.” Hermoine clarified. “Oh I see and Faith kicked her butt.” Sirius said. “Yea basically, I was holding Malfoy back while Harry. Melina and Hermoine attempted to pull Faith off Pansy. Ginny was holding Pansy’s arms.” Ron added. “Ok. Lets pretend I didn’t see that and got to the Room of Requirement.” Sirius said. “Good idea.” Faith said pulling her hair back into a ponytail. The nine of them walked the distance to the Room of Requirement. “Alright, explain your week to me, front to back.” Melina said sitting next to Harry.

“So you mean to tell me Crabbe and Goyle are behind all this! Lucius is planning on making Draco a deatheater to lure Harry to Voldemort. Sirius escaped from the veil and I missed the best bloody trick you guys ever played on Snape.” Melina said dumbfounded. “Yup.” Harry said nodding. “Wonderful.” Melina replied sarcastically. “Oh, I have good news for you as well, Harry.” Sirius began. “What?” Harry asked his green eyes sparkling with excitement. “Well I paid a visit to the Dursleys and convinced them to let you live with me permanently!” Sirius exclaimed. “I can live with you!” Harry said excitedly. ‘Yes.” Sirius laughed embracing his godson.



“Harry, I’m so happy for you!” Melina said crying. “We all are.” Hermoine replied crying as well. “Lets have an early lunch to celebrate.” Sirius suggested. “You guys go Melina and I will catch up.” Harry replied. “Ok, congratulations mate.” Ron said slapping him on the back. “What’s up, Harry?” Melina asked once everyone had gone. “Melina, I can’t not tell you this. You know this whole thing with Faith and Malfoy is all a plan to lure me to Voldemort. I have no doubt in my mind the deatheaters will use you as leeway to get to me as well. Ron and Hermoine have already heard this but I’m just worried for your safety.” Harry admitted.



“Harry you don’t have to worry about me. Faith’s my best friend and I’m more worried about her because Mr. Malfoy is threatening her. I know Voldemort is after you but I don’t think kidnapping me is at the top of his list. “Melina replied. “You’re right but I just needed to tell you that I….” Harry said stopping mid sentence. “You what?” Melina asked looking into his eyes. “I…I love you Melina.” Harry said tenderly. “Oh Harry.” Melina said hugging him. Harry was a bit surprised by her reaction. “You don’t think we’re going too fast.” Harry asked lightly. “No, Harry I love you, too. I’m so happy for you about Sirius, too.” Melina said crying on his shoulder. “Thanks, ‘Lina. I’m glad you’re ok.” Harry said. Melina gave him a quick peck on the lips before she took his hand and leading him towards the door.



Harry pulled her into a longer, tender kiss before they went to the Great Hall. “Do you want to sit with the Gryffindors?” Melina asked when they were near the Great Hall. “I guess but I think the Slytherins might murder me if I sit with them today.” Harry said facetiously. “Especially because of Pansy. I think they’ll be used to it by tomorrow.” Melina smiled lightly kissing Harry on the cheek. They both went there separate ways when they reached the Great Hall. “What took you guys so long?” Faith asked Melina as she sat down next to her. “We were talking, that’s all. He admitted he loves me though.” Melina replied her hazel eyes sparkling.



“He did?! That’s so wonderful! You know the greatest thing is just to love and be loved in return.” Faith said looking at Draco dreamily. “Of course you only tell me a hundred times.” Melina said sarcastically. “But its true.” Draco said looking at Faith. “Hey Magenta, when are you and Potter getting married?!” Pansy yelled down to her. “Stuff a sock in your mouth, Parkinson!” Melina snapped. “Aww! Little Magenta is upset.” Pansy taunted. “Shut up! Just because I have a boyfriend who cares about me doesn’t mean you have to be so jealous!” Melina yelled at her.



“Jealous?! You wish!” Pansy shot back at her. “Let it go. She’s not worth the fight.” Malfoy said disgusted with Pansy. “Draco, when you went out with her what were you thinking?” Melina muttered. “I was young and stupid.” Malfoy replied sarcastically. “Dumb Pansy! Always makes a big deal out if something.” Faith growled. “I know. Tomorrow I got to the ball with Harry, she isn’t going to have anything to say now will she.” Melina declared. “May I ask why?” Pansy yelled standing over her.

“I smell trouble.” Ron said looking at Pansy walking towards Melina. ”I knew this was going to happen.” Harry sighed. “You can’t help who you love, Harry. It doesn’t matter what house Melina’s in and it shouldn’t matter. Don’t let Pansy get to you.” Ginny insisted. “I’m not going to.” Harry declared. Right at that moment you see Pansy throw a punch directly at Melina’s face. Melina was too, quick and blocked the punch sending pain down Pansy’s arm. “Now I never want to have this conversation with you again.” Melina yelled looking Pansy dead in the eye. It’s certainly a good thing looks can’t kill.



“Ms. Magenta, what is going on?” Professor Snape asked. “Pansy threw a punch at me for no good reason!” Melina yelled. “Watch your tone, Ms. Magenta. There had to be a reason.” Snape inquired. “She has something against Faith and I for some reason.” She replied glaring at Pansy. “Interesting. Ms. Parkinson please follow me.” Snape bellowed. “But I never hit her!” Pansy pleaded. “Now!” Snape yelled a little louder. Pansy walked out the Great Hall with Snape, whining the entire time.



“Oh no I’ll be right back.” Harry exclaimed after watching the scene. “Melina, what happened?” Harry asked. Almost all of the Slytherins turned around and glared at him. “What are you looking at?” Melina yelled furiously. They all quickly turned around. “Its Pansy again.” Faith replied. ‘Crabbe move over.” Melina said. “Why?” Crabbe asked confused. “Cause I need to talk to Harry.” She growled. “Ok.” Crabbe squeaked. “What is that girl doing now?” Harry asked sitting in between Crabbe and Goyle. “She’s all jealous and angry because you and I are dating. It’s only because you’re in Gryffindor. I love you and there is nothing anyone can do about it!” Melina said emphasizing he last part.



All the Slytherins were looking at Harry again. “Can I help you venomous snakes?” Harry yelled heatedly. All the Slytherins turned around again. “Melina, what happened to you over break?” Faith asked surprised. “What do you mean?” Melina asked puzzled. “She means where did you get the fiery temper from?” Malfoy clarified. “I don’t know. I’m just tired of being pushed around and this whole Gryffindor/Slytherin rilivary thing. I think it’s time somebody broke the trend and it might as well be us.” Melina replied looking dreamily at Harry. “I agree.”, a girl said with standing behind Faith. She had long red hair and piercing gray eyes. “I’m Blaise Zambini.” Blaise said extending her hand to Melina.



“Melina Magenta and these are my friends Faith Amorian and Draco Malfoy. You obviously know Harry.” Melina said shaking her hand. “I already know Malfoy. Nice to meet you Faith.” Blaise smiled. “Yea you do. Now, what were you saying, Zambini?” Malfoy said. “I was saying, I think the rilivary is stupid, too. I think it’s great to see a couple break the trend.” Blaise finished. “Thanks.” Harry said a still bit apprehensive. “Don’t worry, Harry, I don’t bite. You have a reason not to trust me though. Some Slytherins are like me but it’s people like Pansy that keep this thing alive.” Blaise assured him.



“That’s a relief.” Harry said much more relaxed this time. “It’s nice meeting you all. I hope everything works out.” Blaise said before leaving the Great Hall with another Slytherin girl. “That sounds convincing.” Harry said relieved. “Yea it does. Do you guys want to spend the rest of the day in the Room of Requirement or on the Quidditch field?” Melina asked inquisitively. “Quidditch!” they all replied. “Did I hear the word Quidditch?” Ron asked coming over with Hermoine. “Most definitely lets get ready.” Faith said getting out of her seat.



“Do you two want to come?” Draco asked Crabbe and Goyle. “Na, we have some work to do.” Goyle replied. “Ok we’ll see you later then.” Faith said waving. “Oh yes we will.” Crabbe replied smirking. Faith was a little alarmed but didn’t pay too much attention to it. They spent the rest of the day playing quidditch and talking with Sirius and Lupin. After that they all went to dinner. After dinner Faith and Draco decided to take a walk by the lake. Draco bought a blanket with him because the ground was still cold.

Chapter 16: I will always be there *my fav and most beautiful chapter yet* :sad: lol:lol:



The couple walked a while hand in hand. They finally reached a spot, where the snow had melted a little and sat. Faith sat in between Draco’s legs and had her head on his shoulder. “I can’t believe tomorrow’s Sunday.” Faith sighed. “Yea, but don’t you worry about what could happen tomorrow. Only focus on now.” Draco said and kissed her forehead. “I know but I can’t help it, Draco. So many things could go wrong. Lucius could just kill me before you get there or he could hurt you because of me or Voldemort could….” Faith insisted but Draco stopped her with his finger.



“Faith, stop worrying. Lucius isn’t going to hurt you before I get there. He truly wants me to suffer. Yea, if I don’t become a deatheater he could well…kill me but no matter what happens, you will always have a piece of my heart.” Draco said pointing to the heart-shaped necklace he gave to her at the beginning of the year. “I know but my life would never be the same without you, Draco. You changed my life for the better. I opened up to the rest of the world. Before I met you, I was really shy and didn’t talk to anyone other than Melina. I met her on the train at my first year of Hogwarts. Since then we’ve been like sisters. Now, I talk to a lot of the Slytherins and have a lot more than one friend. Not to mention I truly learned why the greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return. I always thought I would never I would feel that strongly about anyone and Moulin Rouge was just a fairy tale. Draco you made that dream become a reality.” Faith confessed with tears rolling down her cheeks.



Draco was truly astonished! He finally knew what it was like to have someone truly love him unconditionally. “Faith, you can’t even begin to understand how you changed my life. When I look back at how horrible and mean I was it makes my blood boil. Sometimes I wonder why any of the Gryffindors or anybody could ever forgive me. You saw something inside of me, no one else saw. You saw past my phony exterior and drew out a better Malfoy even I didn’t know existed. Faith you taught me what love was and definitely showed me. I knew my mother loved me but sometimes I wondered. Only when she realized how terrible my father was acting towards me did she speak up.” Malfoy told Faith.



“That’s why I can’t live with myself if something happened to you. What is Lucius going to do if he lets me go?” Faith asked. “Nothing.” Draco growled. “What do you mean, nothing?” Faith inquired. “I mean he’ll be in a full body bind before he dare hexes me again.” Draco replied pulling Faith closer to him. “Do you think Harry, Melina, Ron and Hermoine will help you find me?” Faith asked looking into his silver eyes. ‘Yes, of course they will but there is something else you should know.” Malfoy started. “What?” she asked. “This so much more than just making me become a deatheater. I’ve heard my father say it before. One day, he’s going to get Dumbledore, Harry and any other non-supporters of Voldemort together. Then the deatheaters and dementors are going to attack with Voldemort leading them. Lucius kidnapping you is a trap to lure everyone together at one place and time.” Draco said glumly.



“You mean all of this could turn into the final showdown?” Faith asked simply. “Yea but don’t fret because I will be there. Whether it takes me 2 hours or 2 days I will be there. I will always be there no matter what.” Draco whispered moving a piece of hair out her face and kissing her affectionately. “I love you Draco Malfoy.” Faith said resting her head back on his chest. “I love you, too, Faith Adrienne Amorian.” Draco said kissing her gently on the lips. They sat there for a while in their own world. It was as if there wasn’t a tomorrow, only then.



After an hour or so they decided to go back to the common room. “I’m so tired. I don’t think I can make it up those stairs.” Faith said lying on the couch. “Alright night, peanut.” Draco said. “Draco, wait. Stay here with me, please. I want to be with you and only you tonight.” Faith asked. “Faith, are you sure you want that to happen tonight?” Draco asked hesitantly. “No I just want you to stay here. I did not mean that.” Faith shook her head. “Oh I just wanted to check. I’m up for either one.” He replied mischievously. Draco sat down next to Faith on the couch. “I’m sure you would.” Faith replied playfully hitting him.



Draco laid down on the sofa. Faith laid down on top of him. “Am I too heavy.” Faith asked. “No actually you’re perfect. You look amazing though.” Draco replied smirking. “Thanks.” Faith blushed. “He’s so wonderful! I never want this night to end.” Faith thought. “Good night, Faith.” Draco said. “Night.” Faith replied. The couple soon fell asleep dreaming of each other.

Chapter 17: Someone in the shadows


“I want you to follow the girl. Today’s the ball so they’ll be doing girly things to get ready for tonight. They will all be in Hogsmeade, friends will most likely surround her. This is her picture so, you know who you’re looking for. I don’t care how but I want you to find out her weakness or something she despises.” a man in an all black cloak croaked. He was sitting in an armchair with a roaring fire in front of him. The room was very shabby-looking and dark. A young woman stood in front of him dressed in all black. “Yes sir. I should go in disguise as a teenager correct.” She asked. “Yes, Bellatrix.” He growled. “Yes master.” She answered with a bow. She threw her cloak around her and walked out the room leaving the man alone.

Harry woke with a start his scar throbbing. “Oh no.” Harry said anxiety in his voice. “What’s wrong mate?” Ron stirred. “Another on of those nightmares. Bellatrix and Voldemort were talking about following someone…”Harry’s voice trailed off. “Should we tell Malfoy?” Ron asked now sitting up. “No he’s already worried enough. I’ll let Faith know. She can decide what she wants to do.” Harry sighed. “Ok, are you going back to sleep?” Ron yawned. “Na, I promised Melina I would come by in the morning.” Harry said getting dressed. “What?!” Ron shrieked. “Snape will kill you if he finds you in there.” “Don’t worry I won’t get caught and get points taken away, Ron.” Harry assured his best friend.

“Ok. I’ll see you at breakfast.” Ron muttered before going back to sleep.

“Hey.” Melina said kissing Harry on the cheek. “Are you sure I won’t get in trouble for being here?” Harry asked walking in apprehensively. “No and wait until you see this.” She replied pointing to the sofa. “Aww, let’s leave them there. We’ll just have to talk softly.” Harry whispered. “Maybe.” Melina said deviously. ‘Oh no. Really, what did happen to you over break?” Harry asked raising one eyebrow. “Nothing happened.” Melina answered innocently sitting in an armchair. “Sure it didn’t. You seem different though.” Harry said sitting in the armchair adjacent to her. ‘In what way?” Melina asked sitting in his lap. “You look even more beautiful.” Harry complimented. “Thanks. You’re a little charmer you know.” Melina whispered in his ear.


“How charming?” Harry whispered back. Melina smirked and kissed him tenderly putting her arms around his neck. Harry put his hands on her back. Meanwhile, Draco was beginning to wake up. He woke up yo find Faith still on top of him sleeping. She had one of her hands under her head and the other on his lower abs. He felt her gently moving her hands up and down as she slept. “She looks so peaceful when she’s asleep. God I hope she’ll be ok. I know I never talk to you but if I ever needed you before I really need you now. I’m not so worried about myself, even though I don’t want to die. I just don’t want anything to happen to her.” Draco prayed.

Draco looked around the room and noticed Melina and Harry snogging. “Potter oh right, Harry is pretty cool. I am glad that we ended this whole rilivary thing. It’s nice to have friends in other houses.” Malfoy thought. Melina and Harry finally broke apart to take a breath and noticed Malfoy was awake. “Oh good you’re up. Tell Faith we have 12:35 manicure/pedicure appointments.” Melina said. “She’s still asleep. Really she’s going to have a rough day, let her sleep.” Draco pleaded. “Ok but make sure she is up by 10:00.” Melina said in a matter of fact tone. “I’m up, I’m up.” Faith muttered.



“Sorry. I didn’t realize I was that loud.” Melina apologized. “It’s ok.” Faith said stretching. “Hold up, Harry.” she said baffled. “Hi Faith, I’m here…visiting.” he said grinning. “Right.” Draco said in disbelief. “What about you? Caught on the sofa again.” Melina challenged. “We decided to stay downstairs.” replied Faith unconvincingly. Melina raised her eyebrow at both of them. “Ok lets just call it even then.” Malfoy gave in. “Now can we get back to snogging please.” Harry said kissing Melina. “I second that idea.” Draco said kissing Faith gently. “You two are so…” Melina started. “Sneaky.” Faith finished.



Not even two minutes later Pansy shows up. “I’ll so enjoy getting them in trouble.” Pansy snickered to herself or at least she thought. “Step a foot out that door and it will be your last, Parkinson.” Blaise growled. “Oh no not you again.” Harry sighed motioning towards Pansy. “Pansy you tell and I tell your little secret.” Blaise said evilly. “I dare you.” Pansy huffed. “You obviously think I’m joking. Ok, lets see it just so happens that Pansy spent hours in the Room of Requirement with Cr….” Blaise started but Pansy’s screams cut her off. “No! I won’t I swear.” Pansy pleaded for mercy. “Cr…CRABBE! You were with HIM!!” Faith yelled in disbelief.



“She’s…She’s lying!” Pansy yelled trying to cover her mistake. “No, Pansy you’re the liar.” Draco said coldly. “Draco I never meant to hurt you. I really do love you.” Pansy pleaded on the break of tears. “You only love yourself, Pansy.” Draco replied with disgust. Pansy mumbled something that sounded like “Don’t worry Faith I’ll get you.” Pansy shot Blaise a death look before running to the dormitory in tears.

“Draco are you ok?” Faith asked warily. “I’m fine. I’m surprised I feel slightly betrayed but it doesn’t matter to me anymore.” He told Faith. “I understand.” Faith said looking at her watch. “Oh my gosh its 10:15!” Faith exclaimed. “Oh I was supposed to meet Ron at 10:00. I’ll see you guys at breakfast.” Harry said running out the door. “Yea, I was meeting one of my friends at breakfast too. Buh bye.” Blaise said also exiting the common room. “I’m going to change my clothes and shower.” Faith said walking up the stairs. “I’ll come with you in case Pansy loses her mind.” Melina agreed. “Ok.” Malfoy shrugged.



After Faith showered she put on the new denim mini skirt her sister bought for with a fitted red t-shirt and denim jacket. “Wow! That skirt looks great. It’s not too short either.” Melina said. “Are you kidding me your outfit is awesome?!” Faith complimented. Melina was wearing tight pink and white capris with a matching vest and a fitted elbow length top. Both girls were wearing open toed shoes because they were getting pedicures. Faith wet her hair and it was in small natural curls.

Melina had half her dark brown hair in a ponytail and the rest flowing out. “It’s a good thing it’s warm today.” Melina said grabbing her knapsack. “Definitely.” Faith agreed grabbing her bag. The two friends walked downstairs to the Great Hall. Draco, Harry and quite a few other guys couldn’t help but stare. Pansy was mumbling something about little sluts. “Why are you looking at me like that?” Faith asked noticing Malfoy staring. “I can’t speak.” Draco gasped. “Whatever Draco.” Faith said shaking her head.

“Harry are you ok?” Ginny asked. “I don’t know.” Harry squeaked. “Hey Ron, what’s wrong with Harry?” Hermoine asked confused. Now it was Ron’s turn to be speechless. Hermoine was wearing a black mini skirt with a fitted baby blue elbow length shirt. “They’re not on this earth today.” Ginny told Hermoine. “Harry.” Ron said. “I know I have that same thought.” Harry replied. “Say something.” Hermoine said getting irritated now. “You look hot.” Ron said but when he realized the words escaped his mouth he turned as red as the bacon he was eating. “Thanks.” Hermoine said blushing. “Oh Ginny, we better hurry or we’ll be late.” “Yea you’re right.” Ginny concurred getting up from the table.



“Not dressed like that.” Ron detested. “Oh please Ron.” Ginny laughed. “I like it.” Colin said. “Of course you do.” Ron said sarcastically. “Thanks Colin.” Ginny said smiling. Ginny was wearing tight white capris and a fitted periwinkle t-shirt. “Hey guys are you ready to leave?” Faith asked. “Yea. Lets walk around Hogsmeade a little while before we get our nails done." Ginny proposed. “Faith I need to tell you something before you leave.” Harry said gravely. “Can it wait till later?” Faith whined. “No.” said Harry bluntly. “What’s this about, Harry?” Melina asked suspiciously. “She can tell you after I tell her.” Harry said motioning for Faith to sit. “Fine.” Faith gave in.



“I had a vision last night that Bellatrix Lestrange and Voldemort were talking. He told Bellatrix to follow her around and find her weakness today. My guess is he was talking about you, I thought you should know. I didn’t want to worry Malfoy, he’s losing it.” Harry whispered as Faith stood up. Faith just nodded and sighed. “I’m not going to worry about it today.” Faith said trying to force a smile. “What did he say?” Hermoine asked on their way to Hogsmeade. “Nothing for us to worry about. I don’t want to worry about you-know-who today. I just want to shop.” Faith exclaimed. “I have no objections to that.” Melina agreed. “Thanks.” Faith mouthed to Melina as they walked into Weasley Wizard Wheezes.



“Hey Ginny, what can we do for you today?” Fred asked. “We’re just looking around right now.” Ginny replied. “Look away.” George said tastefully. “I think I’ll get one of those fake wands.” Faith said pointing to a stack of them. “To confuse them right?” Hermoine asked, obviously knowing the purpose of these wands. “Yea.” Faith nodded. The girls purchased a few more things in the joke shop before leaving for their appointment. “Right on time.” Ginny said as they entered the nail parlor. “Faith, Melina so nice to see you! Ah you brought friends that’s wonderful. Come now let’s get you girls in chairs.” a bubbly plump woman with blond hair said.



“Hi Melanie.” Faith and Melina said hugging the woman. “Do you have polish or do you need some?” Melanie asked sitting the four girls in pedicure chairs. “We need colors.” Hermoine replied. “Ah! I’ll bring you some choices.” Melanie said running to get the colors. About 2 hours later the girls were walking around Hogsmeade shopping for a few outfits. “I need to get something easy to run in just in case and can fit in my pocket.” Faith said as they walked into a store called Muggle Designs. “This is perfect.” Faith said looking at a black two-piece jog suit. “Yea you can wear it during the summer, too. Hold on you needs a top.” Hermoine said looking through a stack of shirts. “How about this gold and black t-shirt?” Hermoine asked. The shirt was a half sleeve with Ecko- Red in black writing.



“That’s perfect, thanks ‘Moine. It’s about the same color as my dress.” Faith said hugging her friend. “Hey Ginny, are you ok? You seem kind of distant.” Melina asked. “I don’t have enough money for outfits like this.” Ginny replied gloomily. “Ginny pick an outfit and I’ll get it for you. I’m not doing it out of pity if that’s what you’re thinking. I want you to have fun and make Colin drool the next time he sees you.” Melina laughed. “Thanks. I like the sound of that.” Ginny perked up. “Shh….”Melina said tip toeing behind Faith. “Faith there’s a spider on your shoulder.” Melina exclaimed. “What?! Where?! Get IT OFF!” she shrieked. “Just kidding.” Melina laughed. “Uh!! I hate it when you do that. You know how much I loathe spiders.” Faith said extremely irritated.



“Why do you hate them so much?” Hermoine asked flipping through racks. “When Melina and I were little, I went to her house during the summer. There was this really cool tree house in the backyard. We were in there one day and this huge tarantula falls on my shoulder and bites me. My mom was so crazy she made me stay at St. Mungos for a week. I have been terrified of them ever since and Melina…” Faith said shooting her a look.”…Loves to tease me about it.” Faith explained. “That’s ok, Ron hates spiders too.” Hermoine said. “Oh good at least I’m not alone.” Faith joked. They all had got a good laugh out of that.



Little did they know, Bellatrix had heard the entire conversation. Bellatrix had followed them into the store after searching half the stores in Hogsmeade. “Master, will be happy to know that.” Bellatrix snickered. “Did you hear something?” Faith asked stopping dead. “No, it’s probably just nerves.” Ginny assured her. “Ok.” Faith said nervously. The four girls finished their shopping and went to Three Broomsticks for lunch. After eating they went back to Hogwarts about 5:30 to get ready. Faith decided to take a nap before getting ready for the ball. She would need her rest desperately.

Chapter 18: The Twelfth Hour



“Faith it’s 6 o’ clock you have to get up.” Melina nudged her. “Ok. I’m getting up now.” She mumbled. “Ok.” Melina whined. “Shut up.” Faith said hitting her lightly with a pillow. “Hey watch the tips.” Melina said touching the red tips on the ends of her hair. “I don’t believe you got red tips. They look hot, though.” Faith said sitting up. “Yea but you look gorgeous.” Melina said patting Faith’s elegant ponytail. The top had a long piece of hair wrapped around the rubber band with faux diamond clips all around it. She had highlighted her small light brown steaks to make them stand out in her brown hair.



“Lets get dressed shall we?” Melina said pulling her friend towards the closets. “Hi.” Blaise said walking in the dormitory. “Hi Blaise.” Faith smiled. “Just woke up too.” Blaise replied yawning. “Yea, who are you going to the ball with?” Melina asked. “Montague.” Blaise replied. “Oh alright.” Melina said looking through the closet. “We only have a little less than two hours to get ready, lets move.” Faith said excitedly. Two hours later most of the Slytherin boys were in the common room. Malfoy was wearing all black velvet dress robes. Crabbe and Goyle were wearing deep green dress robes. The girls came downstairs looking fabulous.



Melina’s smoky black eye shadow and sheer gloss worked perfectly with her red dress. She had her hair perfectly straight with red tips on the ends. Faith looked elegant in a gold off the shoulder dress and gorgeous ponytail. She had shimmer gold eye shadow on, sheer gloss and shimmer powder on her shoulders. Draco’s voice was caught in his throat he was stunned. “You...you…” Draco stuttered. Faith just smiled and locked her arm in his. “You look great, too.” Faith giggled. “Harry’s outside.” Draco managed to say. “Thanks.” Melina said.



“Blaise, you look wonderful.” Montague complimented. Blaise had on a lilac dress with chandelier earrings and soft make-up. Melina walked out to find Harry in deep navy dress robes. “You look fantastic, Melina.” Harry said giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Thanks you do to.” Melina replied. “Everybody else will meet us in the Great Hall. Shall we?” Harry said giving Melina his arm. “Yes we shall.” Melina said locking in her arm.

Dumbledore clapped his hands as the chairs and tables went to the back wall revealing a large dance floor. “Would you like to dance?” Draco asked Faith. “Of course.” Faith said joining him on the dance floor. Melina, Harry Ron, Hermoine, Ginny and Colin were already on the floor dancing. They played quite a few fast songs before finally slowing down the pace. ”Whew! It’s almost midnight and no kidnapping. Yay!” Faith thought. “Students this is the last dance before the New Years, so enjoy yourselves and get ready for a brand new year.” Dumbledore announced.



Faith was taking a rest from all the dancing when Harry came and sat next to her. “Hey.” said Harry. “Hi.” Faith replied. “Nothings happened yet. Maybe we were all wrong about this whole thing.” Harry proposed. “Yea, maybe.” Faith shrugged. “Hey Faith! Harry lets dance, I love this song.” Melina said dragging him away. ‘Faith.” She heard someone whisper in her ear. She looked up to see Draco looking down at her.



“One more dance before the New Year?” Draco asked. “With you? Of course.” Faith said walking with Draco. Hermoine and Ron smiled at them as they danced near them. It was a slow muggle song. “Draco.” Faith whispered. “Hmm.” he said as they swayed to the beat of the song. “If I have one more night to live I’m glad I spent it with you.” Faith replied softly. “I love you. I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else tonight either.” Draco said bringing her into a tight hug.

“5…4…3…2…1! Happy New Year!”



Balloons and confetti fell everywhere. There were hugs and tears of joy and some of sadness because friends and family never made it. Faith looked at all her friends smiling and thought about how much her life had changed in these few short months. It was the greatest thing that had ever happened to her. She was in Draco’s arms and felt safe for the moment. The confetti became thicker and she let go of Draco for a minute. He couldn’t see her that well either. In that split second, she saw two very large figures appear. (or was it three...hmm) She knew who they were. Each grabbed a side of her wrist and she was instantly transported to Malfoy Manor.

Draco noticed the two large figures as well but was too late to stop them. “**** it!” Draco thought furiously. The noise had finally died down some when Draco reached Harry. “Harry! She’s gone! Crabbe and Goyle have her!” Malfoy yelled. Melina was mumbling many different types of profanities. “Melina!” Hermione scolded. “Lets go find Sirius.” Malfoy ceded. “You were looking for me.” Sirius said with Remus following him closely. “Yea.” Draco started. “Malfoy, as difficult as this is go to Dumbledore.” Remus said sternly. Draco just looked at him. “Draco, if you truly love Faith, then shove your ego up you’re a** and go to Dumbledore!” Melina yelled. “I’m going.” he muttered.



“Professor Dumbledore.” Malfoy hissed. “Yes, Mr. Malfoy.” he replied. “May I speak to you in private. Well…” he started. “I understand Mr. Malfoy. Tell your friends to follow us to my office.” Dumbledore nodded. “Thank you professor.” Draco said trying not to let his ego get too big. The 7 friends, Sirius and Lupin followed Dumbledore to his office. Draco sat in front if Dumbledore with Harry on the other side of him. “Where is Ms.Amorian?” Dumbledore asked. “That’s why I came here, actually. She’s kinda been kidnapped.” Malfoy said sheepishly. “I see why do you believe she’s been kidnapped?” Dumbledore asked inquisitively. ‘Well, this all began about four months ago you could say. When Faith and I first started dating. After you made the announcement about Voldemort coming back to power.” Everyone but Harry, Draco and Dumbledore shuddered at his name.



“I knew my father would be after me again to become a deatheater. Around December he said he would kill me is I didn’t become if I didn’t become a deatheater. He warned me twice before he threatened Faith. In each situation he only threatened me.” he lied. “I thought the first time he sent you clear across the room and the second he put the Cruciatus curse on you.” Harry corrected. “Is that true Mr. Malfoy?” Dumbledore asked through his half moon spectacles.



Draco nodded but was still glaring at Harry. “Anyway, Harry, Ron and Hermione helped me figure out the only people who could have possibly told my father I was with Faith were Crabbe and Goyle. After carefully looking at the situation we all found out the most likely place they would try and take Faith would be the ball. Crabbe and Goyle even asked me weird questions about where Faith was or when she would be back. It was none of their **** business! I hate them and my father for taking the one person on this Earth who I truly cared about!” Draco broke down.



Draco finally came to the point where he just couldn’t hold back his emotions any longer. He let them loose. Sirius squeezed his shoulder because somewhere inside of him he saw an angry Harry. He saw the side of Harry that yearned for a way not to put the people he loved in danger. He saw those emotions come out of Draco at that very moment. “I understand this is difficult but do you know where she is?” Dumbledore asked conjuring up a box of tissues. “Malfoy Manor. There’s one other thing you should know. My father has long talked about bringing Harry, you and all of your supporters together in one final showdown. Not to be blunt but this is it. I think we’re going to need some help to get Faith back. She’s only there to lure myself there. Lucius is sneaky and conniving. He knows I will have to bring you, Harry and the rest of our side to get her back, unless I have a death wish.” Draco added.



“I will call in reinforcements. You should all prepare yourselves accordingly. We will reconvene in the Great Hall in an hour. Sirius, Remus I need you to gather the teachers and students while I gather the aurors and the Order. Lets do this quickly for Ms. Amorian’s sake. I suspect the journey to Malfoy Manor will not be an easy one.” Dumbledore asked looking towards Malfoy. “Yea it has some kind f barrier around it.” he replied. “Harry, are you ready for this? You understand the prophecy.” Dumbledore asked concerned. “Yes, I’m ready.” Harry said taking a deep breath. “What prophecy?” Ron asked perplexed. “I’ll explain on the way out.” Harry replied. “Lets move.” Dumbledore declared.

“Get your hands off me.” Faith said struggling to get out of Crabbe and Goyle’s grip. “Struggling isn’t going to help your situation.” Crabbe said holding her wrist tighter. “Please let go you’re hurting me.” Faith pleaded. Malfoy Manor was dark and had an eerie feeling to it. They led Faith to the drawing room. Crabbe pulled a book off a shelf and an opening was revealed. The huge abyss had a set of long steep stairs made of stone. Goyle started down the stairs first. “Get moving.” Crabbe said pushing her towards the stairs. “I’m going why do you have to be so bossy?” Faith complained with Crabbe following her.



The room was lit by torches and had a chair next to the wall. “Sit here, Lucius will see you soon.” Goyle growled. “Whatever.” Faith said sitting down. “To be on the safe side…” Crabbe said before he bonded her with invisible ropes. A few minutes later, Lucius Malfoy accompanied by Narcissa Malfoy appeared out of the darkness. “Draco looks so much like his father it’s frightening. Same hair… expressions… eyes… features. He has the kindness of his mother though.” Faith thought to herself as Narcissa smiled at her weakly. “Faith Amorian, we finally meet.” Lucius sneered. She just smirked, obviously not amused. Crabbe and Goyle were just entering the room with someone else though. It was a girl with platinum blond hair, the face of pug and cold blue eyes. It was Pansy Parkinson!



“What are you doing here?” Faith asked appalled. Honestly, she wasn’t really asking. “Did you really believe I was going to sit around and let you turn Draco into this sweet and sensitive Casanova?!” Pansy shrieked. “It’s because of YOU that Draco never even gave me a second chance!” Pansy yelled. “What do you expect? You lied and cheated on him with his “best friend” when you were together. Don’t think he didn’t tell me all about it!” Faith snapped back. “I hate you! But I found out Crabbe and Goyle had this plan to make sure Draco became a deatheater. The best part was it would get you out of the way and make room for me. I hate Dumbledore and his mudblood loving self anyway!” Pansy yelled. Then she looked Faith dead in the eye and slapped her.



“Enough!” Lucius bellowed. “I swear when I get out of this chair, your pug face is mine!” Faith growled. “Crabbe, Goyle you took her wand right?” Lucius demanded. “Oops.” Goyle said. “Get it then!” Lucius yelled. “Ok, where is the wand?” Goyle asked. “Bite me.” Faith snapped. “We could find it the short way which is less…intrusive to you or the long way.” Goyle retorted. “Oh no it’s in the back of my dress!” Faith thought. “It’s in the back of my dress.” she muttered. “Thank you.” Goyle said before he realized what she meant. “Master, I may have to undo the ropes to get to it.” Goyle said sheepishly. “Oh Merlin! Goyle just get it!” Lucius growled. Goyle undid the ropes and eventually found the wand. It wasn’t the most comfortable ordeal for Faith. “I swear Goyle you will rot in hell.” Faith said when he gave Lucius the wand. “Yes I will but at least I’ll live longer than you will.” Goyle smirked.



“I still have one question for you two. Why?” Faith asked coldly. “How would you like it if someone made you feel stupid all the time? All he ever did was make fun of us. I see this as sufficient pay back. We’ve always been in favor of the Dark Lord anyway.” Goyle clarified. “You four can leave I have a few questions for Ms. Amorian.” Lucius sneered. Faith gave him a very obscene gesture. “What has Draco told you?” Lucius demanded. “About what?” she asked coldly. “Don’t underestimate my power child.” Lucius snapped. “Nothing except you’re an a******.” she said bluntly.



“I’ll ask you one more time before I resort to other methods.” Lucius smirked. “Lets see all I know is that you want him to become a deatheater and you’re an a*******.” she said sarcastically. “You made your choice.” Lucius snickered before snapping his fingers. At that moment Crabbe, Goyle and Pansy strolled in with three fairly large crates. “What do you know?” Lucius demanded. “I told you what I know!” Faith yelled. Lucius snapped his fingers. Pansy opened the first crate and a 1-foot high tarantula crawled out. Faith’s eyes became wide with terror as she screamed bloody murder.



“Aww man! That spider is huge!” Faith screamed. “Yes it is. Now will you tell me what you know?” Lucius sneered. Faith looked at the spider and then at Lucius. “Nope.” Faith said. Lucius snapped his fingers again prompting Goyle to open the second crate. In it a 3-foot tarantula crawled out. Faith started to tremble. The first one was circling her chair and the second one was advancing. “What about now?!” Lucius bellowed. “I told you what I know!” Faith pleaded. “Remind me.” Lucius retorted. “You want Draco to become a deatheater and you hurt him.” Faith whimpered. Lucius looked at Goyle who shook his head in disagreement. Lucius motioned for Crabbe to open the final crate.



“Ahhh!!!!!!” Faith screeched. This tarantula was at least 6-feet high and was so large you could actually see the hairs on its body. “Talk child!” Lucius roared. “I told you what I know. Do you need details?” Faith whimpered near tears. “Yes!” Lucius snapped. “You want Draco to become a deatheater to spy on Harry and get him in a trap. You cursed him when he wouldn’t agree. You’re using me as bait to lure him here along with Harry and Dumbledore. Is that what you want b******?!” she yelled. Lucius had a slight smirk on his face at this comment. He could see what attracted his son to her but nonetheless she was in his way. “Yes.” he sneered. “You’re an unimaginable b****** who doesn’t deserve to have a son like Draco.” Faith growled. “What’s wrong with me you’re making him mad?” Faith thought.



“Put the spiders away and then I want you three to teach Faith a lesson in respect.” Lucius snarled. With a swish of his cloak he left the room. The three young deatheaters zapped the three spiders back in their crates before destroying them. Crabbe undid the invisible ropes. “I’ve wanted to do this for such a long time.” Pansy said twirling her wand. “Crucio!” Pansy yelled. Faith’s body was on fire; all she could do was scream.

“Are you all ready to leave?” Dumbledore asked one more time. “Yes.” Everyone answered. The Order, the Aurors, Sirius, Remus, Snape, McGonagall, Draco, Melina, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Colin, Neville, Seamus, Parvati, Lavender, Dean, Fred, George, Blaise, Montague and Dumbledore were all present and dressed in all black. Dumbledore thought they would need extra reinforcements and these were some of the best in their grade. Fred and George even came as a favor to Harry. Everyone by then knew about Draco’s whole situation much to his disappointment. Dumbledore had to or else someone could jeopardize Faith’s safety.



The group was moving towards the door when Harry screamed in pain. “Harry, what’s wrong?” Melina asked with worry in her voice. ‘My scar is burning. I think he’s happy about something.” Harry replied. Draco’s heart skipped a beat and if possible he become paler. “F***!” he muttered. “Mr. Malfoy, please refrain from that type of language.” McGonagall reprimanded. “Professor when I’m stressed I turn to my two best friends s*** and f***.” Draco said. “Leave him, Minerva.” Dumbledore said when he saw McGonagall about to rip into him. “We have to go.” Harry said. “Everyone think of a large dark mansion.” Dumbledore said. With that the entire group apparated to the front of Malfoy Manor.

“Enough!” Narcissa yelled seeing Faith in tears on the ground. The three deatheaters stopped their interrogating. “Get out of here! That would be an order from Lucius!” Narcissa bellowed when they didn’t move. The three of them exited the room where Lucius has gone. “Are you alright?” Narcissa asked helping Faith to her feet. “Pain.” she whispered. “Let me help you to a room.” Narcissa said putting Faith’s arm around her shoulder. Narcissa has to levitate her the rest of the way because she was in too much pain. “I left you some dinner as well.” Narcissa said sitting her next to the bed. “Thank you I just want to change.” Faith said pulling the box out of her pocket.



“At least you were prepared.” Narcissa smiled. “Oh yes my wand.” Faith said pulling it out of her side pocket and fixing her ponytail before putting it in her pants pocket. “How did you get it back?” Narcissa asked amazed. ”They have a fake wand.” Faith smiled. “You’re just as Draco described you.” Narcissa laughed. “You are too.” Faith replied. “I apologize for Lucius he’s a piece of work but I can’t leave. I know too much about the dark side so I must stay. I’m so glad Draco turned out better than his father did.” Narcissa confessed. “He’s terrific! It’s why I love him.” Faith replied. “he loves you as well. I know my son and he wouldn’t go through all this trouble to keep you safe is he didn’t truly love care.” Narcissa said.



There was a true bond that formed between Faith and Narcissa at that moment. Faith felt she had someone she could trust and talk to. Narcissa knew she was going to love having her as a daughter-in-law. The two women sat and talked for an hour or so. “Mrs. Malfoy, Master Malfoy wishes to see Ms. Amorian and yourself.” Tiny squeaked. “We’re coming.” Narcissa replied. Tiny bowed before closing the door. “Can I run?” Faith asked. “No, Lucius has apparation borders around the house. You can’t apparate within 2 feet of this house. He will wait for a while, I know he’ll be here.” Narcissa reassured her. Faith nodded but didn’t think Lucius would hesitate to kill her.



They approached the top of the stairs when Faith got a chill down her spine. When she reached the bottom stairs she was looking into the cold eyes of Voldemort. Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy, Lucius and a few other deatheaters were present. “Voldemort.” Faith whispered. “Hello Ms. Amorian take a seat.” Voldemort sneered. Faith sat next to Narcissa on the couch. “You have caused me quite a few problems but they’re being solved now. Understand this, if Draco isn’t here by 5:00am you will be eliminated. Maybe love will prevail.” Voldemort snickered. Faith looked at the clock. It was 4:00am. “God help me.” Faith thought.

Chapter 20: 60 minutes



“Lucius, you just can’t stand here and let him kill your son’s girlfriend!” Narcissa yelled at her husband. “Narcissa, you have been top soft with that boy and look where it’s gotten us! This is a lesson for his insubordination!” Lucius bellowed. ‘Lucius!” Voldemort yelled. ‘Yes master.” He bowed. “What did the girl tell you?’ Voldemort hissed. “Excuse me, the girl you’re taking about is sitting right here.” Faith interrupted. ‘Fine, tell me what you know about Potter.” Voldemort growled. ”Look all I know is your plan for world domination, luring Harry, Dumbledore and the rest of their supporters here and of course getting Draco to become a deatheater which is why you’re torturing me right now.” She smirked. “She’s a Slytherin I hope.” Voldemort said curtly. “Yes.” Crabbe answered. ‘Pity you support Dumbledore.” Voldemort sneered. “I’d never support a murderer.” Faith growled. “That’s a detriment to your health at this point.” Voldemort sneered. Faith looked at the clock it was 4:15.

“Woo, your house is huge!’ Melina exclaimed. ‘Yea.” Malfoy shrugged. ‘Let’s keep moving.” Dumbledore sighed. Draco led them through the huge iron gates and up the mile long path to the Manor. “This is too easy.” Harry thought. Just at that moment 2-dozen dementors are moving towards them from each side of the Manor. ‘Expecto Patronum!” Hermione yelled at the first dementor closest to her. Everyone else followed suit until all the dementors were ash. Everyone thought the danger was over as they approached the large stone steps. Out of nowhere a huge snake slithers out from under a trap door, where over a dozen more lie.



Parvati and Lavender screamed the high heavens while some of the other students backed away. The first snake was dodging and quick. It was avoiding most of the spells being shot at it. “Harry, do something?” Melina screeched as she tried to shot a spell at a snake moving towards her. “Hsh…Has.” Harry whispered. The large one looked up at him before lunging for his ankle. “Deparaevansca!” Snape yelled and the snake disappeared. “Don’t say it Potter.” Snape hissed before killing another. After 10 minutes of killing snake, the group finally made it to the door “I hope that was the end.” Ginny breathed.



“Great now all we have to do is get inside.” Melina said trying to open the door. “It’s locked.” Melina said utterly confused. “Thank you captain obvious.” Ron replied sarcastically. “Your welcome.” Melina smiled. “Melina, shut up.” Harry whispered. “Ok.” She said quietly. “Fine how do we get in?” one of the aurors asked. “There’s a combination in the shape of a triangle to get in the door.” Malfoy began. “I feel a but coming on.” Ron said. “My father has most definitely changed the combination so, it’s a process of trial and error. He usually makes it somewhere in the middle.” Draco sighed. A sudden chill ran through the air making everyone shiver. “What are you waiting for, start banging?!” Blaise yelled.

“Well Ms. Amorian, you have about 15 more minutes to live is there anything you want to say?” Lucius snickered. “To you…hell no.” Faith shot back. “Well I wouldn’t want you to die without knowing my part of the plan.” Pansy smirked. She walked over and sat next to Faith. Faith moved all the wat down by Narcissa to get away from her. “Anyway…” Pansy sneered. “After you and Draco got together I felt neglected and went to Crabbe and Goyle so they could talk some sense into him. They told me, they were deatheaters and would tell Lucius when they spoke to him.”



“Obviously, when Lucius found out he wasn’t very happy so, he decided to get you out of the way. He tried to reason with Draco. He tried to make him stay loyal to his family but nooo he loved you too much! Over the past couple of months I’ve been working with them. Actually your time is almost up so I’ll leave you with this thought. After your gone, I’ll have Draco all to myself.” Pansy smirked before taking her place next to Crabbe. “Oh Merlin it’s 4:55.” Faith squeaked. At this point, she was panicking. Her teeth were chattering and her knees were trembling. “I can’t go out like this but what am I going to do?” Faith thought.

“This has to be it!” Seamus yelled. “It better be.” Ron muttered. The final keys on the door went in and the door slowly creaked open. “Thank you Merlin.” Seamus replied. “Where would a whole battle be able to take place?” Sirius asked, “Uh…the ballroom.” Draco said. The entire group went down the corridor wands in hand.

“Give me my wand Goyle.” Voldemort bellowed. 4”58… “You can’t let him do this Mr. Malfoy. Please have mercy!” Faith cried. “Shut up!” Lucius answered. “What to do?” she thought. “Getting my wand won’t help.” Voldemort was pointing his wand directly at her heart. Faith screamed in fright.

The scream had echoed through the house. “Ah s***!” Malfoy said before taking off down the corridor. “Malfoy we don’t know where to go!” Ginny yelled. He wasn’t listening only running as fast as he could.

4:59…”Any last words?” the Dark Lord sneered. “When Harry does kill you, I hope you burn in hell for killing so many.” Faith said angrily. “Fine.” he shrugged. 30 second…”What to do?”…25…”No that won’t work.”…20…”C’mon Faith think.”…15…”I can’t let her die!”…10...”Oh God no”…5…”Yes that will work.”…4…”Please work!”…3…”Almost there!”…2…”Get ready. Go!”…1 “Faith!” “Avada Kedevra!” Voldemort yelled. All Draco saw was her fall to the ground in slow motion.

**I know I haven't posted in what seems like eternity but schedules been kinda crazy lately. I have good:D and bad:grumble: news for you my friends. First the good....**:clap:

Chapter 21: Betrayal leaves the deepest scars




“Draco, I see you’re right on time.” Voldemort sneered. “Hello my friend.” Crabbe snickered. All of a sudden Malfoy’s very short temper came back with a vengeance. He lunged at Crabbe aiming for his throat. Crabbe wasn’t prepared for that quick an attack and flew into the wall. “Tell me why you did it and maybe I won’t kill you.” Draco growled. “Guess you don’t think we’re so dumb anymore, do you Malfoy?” Goyle said coming out of the shadows. If possible Malfoy became even more enraged with his former friends. “You always took the spotlight and we were just your noble posse. Well by the end of 5th year enough was enough. Both of us decided to join the dark side. At least we would have some nobility joining our master but then Lucius told us he was training you as a deatheater over the summer.” Goyle explained coldly.


“Yea but I made it clear before 6th year even began, I wouldn’t become a deatheater.” Draco said loosening his grip on Crabbe’s throat slightly. “Yes but once school commenced you started to get involved with her. Faith was a Slytherin so, there wasn’t any urgency to your father you were together. Everything changed the night he of the first warning when he came to see us.” Crabbe choked out in a meager voice. “The night you decided to betray my trust.” Draco said calmly, tightening his grip on Crabbe’s throat again.



“The next evening he came back and we informed him of the ball. A plan began to brew about how to make sure you became a deatheater. The Dark Lord needed you in order to get Potter but we didn’t count on you becoming friends with the bloke because of a tie with his girlfriend.” Goyle spat angrily. “Melina don’t.” Harry said seeing her temper begin to rise. “Anyway, the next time he warned you was 2 weeks later and you were even more determined not to join our side. Your father decided to give you a little hint to protect the one you love, obviously something you’re not good at.” Goyle snickered.



“That’s how he knew. I had already suspected it was you who told him because Dumbledore was the only one who knew how to contact him.” Draco snapped. “What about me Drackie?” Pansy said innocently. “Little b****! You were in on it too!” Draco snapped at her. “Yup, you can thank yourself for that. When you didn’t even give me a notice we were breaking up!” Pansy yelled. “Because it’s in your head! We were never together! The only reason I went to the freaking ball with you was because I pitied you! I neither was nor ever will be your boyfriend. Get it through your thick skull!” Malfoy bellowed. “Looks like the old Malfoy’s back.” Ron whispered to Harry.



“Now that she’s out of the way, yes you will. Also understand something the only reason I went to Crabbe that night was because I saw you and her in the common room. You were so busy snogging you didn’t even notice me run out of the common room to the Room of Requirement.” Pansy shrieked. The thought of Faith was making him tear slightly. “Forget it now, Malfoy. Your little toy is gone.” Crabbe sneered. At these words Draco snapped, tightening his grip once again on Crabbe’s throat.



“Malfoy you don’t want to do this. He’s not worth it.” Harry yelled. Crabbe was beginning to go red in the face. “Lucius Draco Malfoy stop choking him now!” Narcissa yelled. Draco didn’t budge, he was too mad with hate. Out of the darkness someone was heard pleading for him to let go but who? “Draco let him go.” a meager voice said. Draco jumped at the voice and spun around. “Faith.” he whispered, letting go of Crabbe’s throat. “Yes.” she whispered back pulling herself off the ground.:wow: “Oh my God.” Melina said in awe. “This is impossible!” Voldemort yelled.



“You have really bad aim. I was on the floor before you even said the curse.” Faith sneered. “I won’t make that mistake again.” Voldemort replied. “Expelliarmus!” Faith yelled pointing her wand at him. Voldemort’s wand flew to the other side of the room. “Lucius you assured me you had her wand!” Voldemort bellowed, his eyes red with fury. “Master I thought I did.” Lucius choked out. Lucius whipped out Faith’s wand and shouted “Crucio!” The wand choked out in a meager voice “you b******” before snapping in half. “Compliments of Weasley Wizard Wheezes.” Fred and George chimed in.



“Oh wow, I believe I just outsmarted the great Voldemort.” Faith smirked. Draco felt so proud of her. “Riddle.” Dumbledore said. ‘Dumbledore.” Voldemort hissed. “It’s been a while.” Dumbledore said coming forward. “Enough of this rubbish. You have once again failed me Lucius.” Voldemort snarled. “Master, please have mercy.” Lucius begged. “What comes around goes around, Lucius.” Narcissa said. “Narcissa, are you deserting me?” Lucius said menacingly.



“Yes, I rather support my son then a vicious husband.” Narcissa replied coldly. “It does not matter because all who oppose me will perish today. I think getting you all out of the way will be a great accomplishment.” Voldemort said snickering. At that moment dozens of deatheaters and dementors appeared. “You will be the only one to perish tonight.” Harry hissed. Sirius was standing next to his godson beaming with pride. “You!” Bellatrix shrieked. “How did you escape?” “Let’s say the power of love and determination is a lot more powerful than greed and hate.” Sirius spat. “This time cousin I will make sure there are no mistakes.” she threatened.



“Not with his godson and best friend by his side.” Harry retorted. Lupin was swelling with pride. “He’s more like James than he will ever know.” Lupin thought. “You’re never going to win Voldemort, you’re too much of a weakling.” Faith taunted. “We’ll see, my minions attack!” Voldemort yelled. Peter Pettigrew inched his way forward trying to avoid the eyes of Sirius and Lupin. He wasn’t small enough to avoid his two “best friends”. “For James and Lily, Avada Kedevra!” Sirius and Lupin shouted. Pettigrew fell to the ground with a loud thump. “My friends I wish you luck. Fight until the end!” Dumbledore said.

With those words of encouragement the war began.

Chapter 22: The Final Showdown



Green lights flew from wands. A sense of evil surrounding them. It was the showdown to decide all. Good or evil would perish today. Love and compassion would either triumph or be trampled by feelings of greed and hate.

“Expecto Patromum!” “Crucio!” “Avada Kedevra!” was all that could be heard. Shrill cries of death and pain were what cut deep down in their souls. They knew the day would come but not this soon and nowhere near this intense. The sight of burning dementors was enough to make you sick.

“Hermione, behind you!” Ginny shrieked. “Avada Kedevra!” Hermione yelled at the deatheater behind her. Harry was killing off two deatheaters himself with Ron by his side. It seemed to feel like the more they killed, there were even more left to handle. “More are apparating to join the fight.” Faith yelled to Melina. “No kidding.” She agreed. “Ah!” Parvati screamed as 4 dementors were surrounding her. Lavender and Hermione were rushing to her aid. Two of them were burned to ashes while the others scattered. “Here eat this.” Hermione said handing Parvati a piece of chocolate.



“Where’s Draco?” Faith asked panicking. She hadn’t seen him since they started battling. “Over there.” Melina shrieked seeing him battling a dementor as his father was sneaking up behind him. Faith ran towards him cursing dementors as she went. “Draco behind you!” Faith yelled. “Huh?” he said confused. “Stupefy!” Faith yelled as Lucius fell to the ground. “Thanks.” He said as the dementor burned to ashes. “Where is Voldemort?” Faith asked watching the chaos unfold in front of her. “I have no idea probably looking for Harry.” Draco shrugged. “Or for you.” A cold voice snickered.

The two slowly turned to stand in front of the horrid figure of Voldemort. He was absolutely terrifying with eyes so red it looked as if the blood from all the people he murdered was swimming in his eyes. No eyebrows, skin so green and jagged it gave you goose bumps. Finally, his voice so cold and full of hate it cut through your soul.



“What would you want with us?” Faith whimpered. “No one ever outsmarts me and gets away with it!” Voldemort yelled raising his wand in rage. “Voldemort!” Harry yelled distracting him from finishing the job. “I’ll deal with you two later.” Voldemort sneered before making his way towards Harry. “Oh no.” Draco said feeling Voldemort’s power increase. “What’s Harry doing?” Hermione asked finishing off yet another dementor. “Fulfilling the prophecy.” Draco sighed before beginning the fight once more.

“Harry Potter, we meet again.” Voldemort sneered. “It’s time we settle this. You want me come and get me!” Harry shouted. “Bravery, such a Gryffindor. If you had taken my offer in your first year perhaps things would have turned out differently. You would at least have your parents.” Voldemort jeered. “You killed my parents why would I believe that you would bring them back to only be a threat again!” Harry bellowed furiously. “Foolish boy! Your father was the same way, too proud to fraternize with the likes of me. He’s dead now and you’re about to be.” Voldemort spat.



Pointing his wand at a chair, Voldemort shouted “Waddiwasi!” lunging it at Harry. Harry quickly ducked and yelled “Incendio!” at Voldemort making him go up in flames. Voldemort dropped to the floor rolling around to extinguish the flames. Harry took this time to shoot even more curses at him. Finally, recovering from being hit with so many curses at once Voldemort stands to his feet. “CRUCIO!” Voldemort bellowed loudly. Harry was shaking with pain. The curse felt stronger for some reason. It felt more like a thousand curses hitting him at once. Worst of all a dementor was steadily making its way over to him.



“Harry!” Ron screamed seeing his best friend in pain. “We’ve got to help him!” Melina said rushing over with Ron. “Expecto Patronum!” they yelled in unison, driving away the dementor. “Fools!!” Voldemort yelled pointing his wand at them. Harry reached for his wand and yelled “Diffindo!” Voldemort saw it coming and blocked it with a blocking charm. Harry was on his feet by now with such a power radiating from him Snape would have trembled.



“This is the end, Potter!” Voldemort said enraged. “It’s only the beginning, Tom.” Harry said calmly. He knew what was coming but had a plan. Only a foot behind him laid a mirror. “Avada Kedevra!” Voldemort yelled. Harry grabbed the large mirror as the spell bounced off the mirror into Voldemort. At the same time Harry yelled “Avada Kedevra!” The two spells merged into one and caused an end to Voldemort’s reign forever.



The room was still; no one could believe their eyes. “He’s dead.” Harry whispered still shaky. All of a sudden Harry was bombarded with shouts of triumph and hugs of joy from his friends. The aurors and members of the Order were rounding up the last deatheaters with huge grins on their faces. “Harry, you did it mate!” Ron yelled. “I’m so proud of you!” Sirius yelled. “Harry, you did it!” Hermione shrieked. “Nice work, Potter.” Draco smiled. “Thanks, Malfoy. Not too bad yourself.” Harry replied. “Harry!” Melina yelled hugging him tightly. “I’m ok.” Harry said hugging her. “Good, I was so worried.” Melina said crying.



Faith was watching from a distance with Draco by her side. “Are you ok? Did he hurt you?” Draco asked away from all the excitement. “I’m fine and no not really. He scared me to death with these huge spiders though. He had Crabbe, Goyle and Pansy do the dirty work you could say. Your mom saved me, though. She was absolutely wonderful.” Faith said holding Draco’s hand. “Well, I guess you’ll take that tour of the Manor some other time.” Draco laughed. “Definitely.” she agreed. “I want to go congratulate Harry.” Faith said walking over to him.



“Hey, are you ok?” Harry asked. “Fine. What about you? After all you just battled Voldemort.” Faith replied. “I’m alright, I guess. It’s still a blur, really.” Harry replied modestly. “I just wanted to thank you. I know you and Draco aren’t the best of friends but you still came.” Faith said slightly teary. “No problem, you're still my friend you know. I’m just glad you're ok.” Harry smiled. ”Thanks.” Faith smiled at Harry before walking over to Melina. Harry saw something out of the corner of his eye. It was a dark shadow from the side.



“Who is that?” Harry thought walking away before he heard a scream. Draco was on top of someone beating the **** out of them. Melina was screaming for someone to wake up. “What happened?” Harry asked trying to comfort a panicking Melina. “Lucius, he hit Faith over the head with something and she won’t wake up!” Melina replied panicking. Professor Snape had a death grip on Draco trying to keep him away from his father. One of the aurors had stunned Lucius and had dragged him away. “Take them all to the Hospital Wing immediately!” Dumbledore demanded. The teachers obeyed moving all the students out the ballroom of Malfoy Manor. The war was over but the side effects had only begun.

Chapter 23: Aftermath of the Great War

"Everyone to a bed!" Madame Pomfrey bellowed. "Surely not all of us." Fred said limping in supporting George. "I mean everyone! Students, aurors, the Order and teachers!" Madame Pomfrey yelled. "There isn't enough room!" Snape argued. Madame Pomfrey flicked her wand enlarging the room to fit at least 10 dozen more beds. "Now there is. Is anyone seriously injured?" she inquired. 'Yes, Lucius hit Faith over the head with something and she won't wake up!" Melina said tears still in her eyes. "As I said everyone to a bed. Mr. Malfoy please lay Ms. Amorian down here, I will tend to her. You look famished yourself." Madame Pomfrey instructed as everyone found a bed. Draco looked down at her and shed a single tear before retiring to a bed.

"Harry...Harry...Harry" a soft voice rang in his ear. He slowly opened his eyes almost blinded by the light. He felt around for his glasses on the night table next to him. "Harry dear, you're awake. When Arthur told me I was so worried!" Mrs. Weasley said pulling Harry into another bone crushing hug. "I'm fine, Mrs. Weasley. Thank you." Harry said. "How's Ron and Hermione and Melina?" Harry inquired. "We're fine, Harry." Melina said walking over to his bed. Harry thought if possible she looked even more beautiful. Her red tips were still vibrant, she had on the same all black outfit but was now torn in different places from stray spells. Ron and Hermione were walking over with Fred, George, Bill, Charlie, Mr. Weasley and even Percy.

"You did it mate." George said happily. "Yes you did, Harry." Sirius said wlaking over with Lupin, McGonagall, Dumbledore and Snape. Suprisingly Snape didn't wear his usual sneer but a slight smile. Harry was about ready to burst from joy. All of his friends were there not to mention his family. It took a long time to form but it finally came together. "Well done, Potter." Malfoy said with his mother by his side. There was no malice or sarcasm in his voice but one of true sincerity."Thanks Malfoy. Is she...?" Harry started. "She's fine but is still unconscience." Malfoy replied. "Is everyone else...?" Harry asked. "We were lucky not too lose many on our side. A few aurors and...Lavendar." Hermione said through clenched teeth. Her eyes were puffy from crying. "She was standing right next to me when a deatheater got her from behind." Hermione said sobbing into Ron's shoulder.

"How's Parvati?" Harry asked fighting the tears threatening to fall. Melina just shook her head. Harry put his head back on the wall in defeat from the pain."You should rest, Harry. This is enough for one day." Dumbledore said frowning. Harry nodded silently. Everyone moved themselves back to their own beds. Well everyone except Draco who went to sit by Faith."Hey Faith, I told you I would be there. I really need you to wake up for me. I love you and miss you. I want to hear your laugh, your voice and feel your tender touch. Without you there truly is no me."Draco said putting his head by her hand. "She still looks beautiful." he thought to himself.

"I"m aching from head to toe especially my head." Faith thought. "What happened?" The imageof Lucius hitting her over the head came back. "Oh yea now I remember." she thought. Faith slowly opened her eyes. Her vision was still slightly blurry. She saw the figure of Draco sitting by next to her and smiled as her vision became clearer. She reached out to touch his hand. 'I know Draco Malfoy isn't sitting there crying." she teased. Draco's eyes were sparkling with joy. "Faith." he said hugging her. The whole room was silent. Harry began to clap, then Ron and Hermione, then Melina finally the whole room was in cheers. "Kiss her for heaven sakes while we're still young!" Fred yelled. Draco smirked at him before kissing the woman he loved, earning even more cheers.

"Ok, can you stop snogging so I can hug my best friend." Melina teased. Faith pretended to shot daggers at her best friend before embracing her in a long hug. "FAITH!" a woman screeched. "Mom." Faith choked out. "Dumbledore told us everything!" she said hugging her daughter. Mrs. Amorian looked exactly like her daughter down to the hair. Faith had her father's demeanor and eyes as he winked at her. A girl about 20 with dark brown hairwas with them. She was holding hands with a handsome man also around 20. Draco assumed that was her sister Korina and brother-in-law Xavier. Everyone else had returned to whatever they were doing to give them all some time to talk.

After retelling the story, from September to the present, leaving out a few select details, Faith sat there with her astonished parents and siblings. "That's the story mum."Faith said. "You must care so much about our daughter to risk your life to save hers."Mr. Amorian said looking at Draco. "Yes sir, I love her." Draco said holding her hand. "Sir was my father, call me Lucus." Lucus corrected Draco. "Ok, Lucus." Draco said. "Do you love him?" Lucus asked his daughter. "Yes, daddy, I do." Faith replied. Both of her parents looked at each other and nodded. "Then you have our blessing." Mrs. Amorian replied. "Thank you, mum!" Faith said hugging her mother. "Your welcome, where is your mother Draco?" Mrs. Amorian asked. "Over there, Mrs..." Draco started. "Valerie dear." she corrected.

"Hello, I'm Narcissa Malfoy, Draco's mother." Narcissa introduced. "Valerie Amorian, Faith's mother." Valerie introduced. "I'm Lucus Amorian, Faith's father. Over there is my other daughter Korina and her husband Xavier." Lucus said. "Nice to meet you all. You have a wonderful daughter, we had a chance to talk before..."Narcissa trailed off. "Thank you." Valerie smiled. "They're getting along well."Faith whispered to Draco. "Yea, do you think Dumbledore told them everything?" Draco asked. "I sure hope not." Faith whispered back. "No, he left that up to you so start talking?" Valerie snapped. "You always did have good hearing, mum." Faith laughed. "Ha ha, now start talking." Valerie shot back. "What do you need to know?" she gave in. "I'll start why were you in Dumbledore's office?" Lucus asked.

"Umm...we were distracting Snape while Harry, Melina, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Sirius and Lupin were switching these do-do bird eggs in the dungeon with mechanical ones." Draco said casually. "You did WHAT?!" Valerie and Snape yelled. "You 8 switched the eggs!" Snape said getting increasingly angry. "SIRIUS!"Snape yelled. "Yes, Severus." Sirius answered calmly. "You recked my lab, you almost broke my bum,you...you and that lot did this to me!!" Snape said taking a clump of his hair off his head leaving a huge bald spot. The whole room erupted in laughter. The first real joy they had since the war ended.

"I know it was your idea, Sirius!" Snape bellowed. "Snipely ol' chap calm down it will grow back." Sirius said trying to calm Snape through fits of laughter. Snape sat back down on his bed in a huff. "Is that all dad?" Faith asked taking a deep breath from laughing so hard. "We're not done with you two yet how did you get together exactly?" Valerie smirked evilly. "Now mum isn't that private?" Faith questioned. "No." she snapped. Korina chuckled at how much trouble her baby sister was in. "We're waiting." Narcissa replied coolly. "We...umm...fell asleep doing homework in the common room." Draco started. "Woke up...next to each other, Melina came downstairs and got the wrong idea." Faith added. "So, asked her if Melina was angry." "I said no because she knew I liked Draco. Then I wound up telling him everything and..." "I kissed her." Draco finished.

"I'm sure the next question has to do with Snape." Faith guessed. "Go on..." Narcissa said. "Snape just kept coming in the common room at the wrong time and thought we were doing something." Draco said. "Why would he think something like that?" Lucus asked. "Because we were usually...er...asleep next to each other on the couch in the Gryffindor common room." Draco smiled weakily. "Sure." Korina mumbled. "K-a little help here." Faith shot at her sister. "Don't start...Faith we believe you." Valarie said stopping a yelling match. "Just don't let us catch you." Narcissa said looking directly at Draco. "What did I do?" Draco asked innocently. "O nothing brother....yet." Korina joked. Xavier was snickering to himself.

"Xavier, a little help here." Faith said looking at her brother. "I'm not in it." he said with his hands up in surrender. "However, Draco..." Xavier said narrowing his eyes. "If you hurt my little sister you will pay." "Ok." Draco stuttered. "Oh stop scaring him, Xavier." Faith said planting a kiss on Draco's cheek. From that point the seven of them chatted happily when someone burst threw the Hospital Wing doors...

It was none other than Cornelius Fudge! "Harry! You've defeated Voldemort! I knew you would!" Fudge said with a series of reporters following him. "Cornelius! I thought I specifically said no reporters! Get them out of my sight this instance!" Dumbledore boomed. "Oh but Dumbledore this is record breaking news! It's all over the wizarding---"Fudge explained but was cut off by Percy. "Minister these children--no adults have just fought the most evil wizard of all time, have seen more than enough trama to last a lifetime and I for one think they deserve a minute of peace! My brothers and sister almost died last night and I'm not going to have reporters in their face asking them to retell the story. Either you put them out or I will!!" Percy yelled loud enough for the whole school to hear.

Fudge opened and closed his mouth before shooing them away. Fudge opened his mouth to say something but Percy started up again. "I'm not done with you yet! It's your fault Voldemort even became this powerful! If you would have believed Harry earlier innocent lives could have been saved. No you had to be a stubborn mule! I can't believe they still are putting up with your nonscence! So I believe that you owe everyone in this room especially Harry, after disrespecting him and calling him a fraud,and Faith,who could have been killed by Voldemort, an apoligy! Yet again I say you could have saved these people if you would not have had your head up your ***!"Percy bellowed now red from anger. "Shh,shh." Mrs. Weasley said putting an encouraging hand on her son's shoulder. She had tears of pride coming down her cheeks.

Fudge on the other hand was whimpering in fear. "I'm...I'm sorry." Fudge said shaking. Harry pulled himself and walked straight up to him. Harry was no longer the small, weak 11 year old he once was but a strong, powerful 16 year old young man. "I accept, Fudge." Harry said shaking his hand. "Thank you." he mustered. "As do I." Faith said walking over to him. You could almost hear Fudge gasp, when she walked over to him. He nodded his thanks. "Go Cornelius." Percy instructed. Fudge almost ran out of the room. Harry and Faith looked at each other and smirked at the spectacle they made of Fudge. The Minister of Magic groveling in front of two 16 year olds.

"Percy, why did you?" Ron asked too speechless to say another word. "I realize now family and friends are so much more important than work. I just saw him waltzing in with these reporters trying to make money off of your pain and I snapped." Percy replied. "Thanks Percy." Harry said. "Thanks are not neccessary, Harry. I'm truly sorry about--" Percy started. "It's ok Percy I understand." Harry laughed. "Percy, I don't even know you but thanks." Faith said putting a stand of loose hair behind her ear. "Your truly welcome but Fudge was going to apoligize whether I made him or not to you at least." Percy commented. Faith blushed the shade of Ron's hair. Everyone erupted with laughter even Draco chuckled at Fudge's reaction.

Chapter 24: Alone...at last

Madame Pomfrey let almost everyone leave the Hospital Wing in a day or two. She made Harry and Faith stay for observation. It was Wednesday night and they were starting to get restless. "Madame Pomfrey, we're fine! Why can't we leave?" Faith asked in a huff. "Because I don't believe you're ready. You've both been hit with too many curses and have experienced too much trauma in such a little time. No, in my best judgement you're staying. Do I make myself clear?" Madame Pomfrey said hotly. "Yes." they mumbled. "I see that went well." Draco laughed as Madame Pomfrey closed the door to her office. "No we're staying for a slumber party." Harry retorted.

"We decided to keep you guys company." Melina said crawling into Harry's bed. "Thanks, I feel much better now." Harry smirked pulling Melina closer. Faith was already snuggled against Draco intaking his amazing cologne. Melina gave Harry a gentle peck on the lips. Harry cupped her chin and kissed her passionately. Melina waved before pulling the curtain closed with her wand."Well then." Faith commented to Draco. Faith took the liberty of closing the curtains around her bed as well.
"I'm still amazed you're alive. How did that curse not hit you?" Draco asked. " I pretended to fall the second he said the killing curse. You came in so he didn't check to make sure he finished the job." Faith clarifyed."I knew you were going to come. A thousand dementors wouldn't have stopped you." Faith replied sweetly. "Not even then. It cut me like a knife when I saw you fall. I would have killed Crabbe if you wouldn't have told me to stop." Draco replied. "Whatever happened to them anyway?" Faith inquired. "Goyle was killed by an auror.Pansy is in pretty bad shape in St. Mungos. Crabbe....is in Azkaban awaiting the kiss. Any deatheater that survived is going to be given the kiss." Draco said wiping a tear away.

Faith closed her eyes to blink back the tears. "I never wanted them to...oh Draco that means." Faith cried. "Yes...my...my father awaits his fate."Draco choked out. "I hated him but no one should die like that." Faith sobbed. "It pains me as well but he chose his fate."Draco said fighting the urge to erupt like a volcano. "Draco, he was and still is your father I know this hurts. Don't fight the tears."Faith urged him with tears streaming down her cheeks."Are you sure you're a Slytherin?" Draco asked tears now flowing freely down his face. "I cursed your father out and Voldemort believe me I am." Faith assured him. "I'm evil." she said.

"Really? How evil?" Draco smirked now wiping tears away. "Let me show you then." Faith said kissing Draco softly on the lips. "I love you." Draco said before letting his true emotions show. Both Faith and Draco showed their true love for each other that night in the most beautiful way.

Faith awoke the next morning to see Draco sleeping soundly next to her. "He needs to rest. I still don't believe they gave his father the kiss no matter how horrible he was. I don't believe Goyle's dead and Lavendar. Pansy's barely alive and any other deatheaters are getting the kiss. I guess Goyle got his wish, though. So many lives lost, some still inder seventeen. I never want my children to see this kind of war. No one should put themselves through this kind of pain." Faith thought to herself silently. She looked at Draco again. She was so in love with him. "I knew he was fine but not that fine." Faith smirked to herself. She decided to catch a few more Z's before Draco woke-up.

Draco slowly opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was the woman he loved next to him. "She truly is the best thing that ever happened to me. I love her more than I love myself." he thought to himself. He smirked when he remembered his comment about her sweetness. "Oh she's a Slytherin alright, no doubt about it." he thought deviously to himself. Faith felt Draco move and turned to face him. "Morning." she said sweetly. "Morning." Draco replied. "Did you sleep well?" Faith asked. "Yea no nightmares only dreams becoming a reality." he said looking her up and down. "Draco." she blushed.

"You're quite the devilish one as well." Faith said seductively. "Really..."Draco replied sexily. They were just about to kiss when they heard Madame Pomfrey yelling at the top of her lungs. "Harry and Melina must have had the same idea." Faith said. 'Uh oh." Draco said as he heard Madame Pomfrey walking towards them. "Both of you!" she screamed pulling the curtain away. "I'll let your head of houses take care of you four!" she yelled storming out the Hospital Wing. "Oh well." Harry shrugged. "They knew it was going to happen eventually." Draco agreed. Faith and Melina were just smirking deviously at each other.

Chapter 25: Returning to Normalcy



“You’ll never guess what I found out.” Hermione squeaked. The six friends were all in the Great Hall having breakfast the next day. Madame Pomfrey had reluctantly let Faith and Harry leave. “What?” asked Ron eating his toast. “Read this.” Hermione said putting the Daily Prophet on the table. Ron and Harry nearly choked on their food at the headline on the cover of the Daily Prophet. On it was a picture of a very disgruntled looking Fudge and Umbridge.



Minster of Magic Finally Dethroned



Cornelius Fudge, the former Minister of Magic, was fired yesterday evening after apparently a Wizemagot judge—that wishes to remain anonymous—unearthed some under the hat lies of Mr. Fudge. This has caused a great stir in the ex-Minister’s cabinet resulting in the firing of quite a few of his best advisors. One of them being Ms. Delores Jane Umbridge for uses of Unforgivable curses.



“Fudge and Umbridge are fired this is the happiest day of my life!” Harry exclaimed. “Hem, hem” Melina said clearing her throat. “Except that.” Harry smirked. “Speaking of that.” Hermione asked suspiciously. “So how did Dumbledore take it?” Ron inquired. “Ok. A month’s worth of detention but fine.” Faith replied nonchalantly. “You never did tell us what happened?” Ginny said mischievously. “Oh where should we start…” Faith began.

“We’re dead.” Melina said bluntly. “It’s not like we can run.” Faith mumbled. “Disillusion ourselves make Madame Pomfrey think she’s gone batty.” Melina suggested. “Nope won’t work.” Harry said casting her a furtive glance. “Oh right.” Melina said smacking herself in the head. “Oh no.” Draco yelped. “What?” Faith asked. “Are your parents still here?” Draco asked. “Oh ****” Faith said seeing Professor Snape, McGonagall, Dumbledore, Madame Pomfrey and her parents. “I’m not here.” Faith said hiding. “Worse news.” Melina squeaked to Harry. “What?” Harry asked terrified to ask. “My parents.” Melina yelped.



“Faith Adrienne Amorian!!!” Valerie yelled. “Melina Armenian Magenta!!!” Melina’s mother yelled. “Lucius Draco Malfoy!!!” Narcissa yelled. “Oh no.” Draco choked. “Harry James Potter!!!” Sirius yelled. “Oh great.” Harry said. “You four are in so much trouble!” Valerie bellowed. “I told you!! No one ever believes me!” Snape bellowed almost jumping up and down. “Not now Severus.” Dumbledore said coolly. “Ms. Amorian, Mr. Malfoy lets start with you two.” McGonagall said hotly. “Is there really an explanation needed?” Faith snapped.



“Faith, watch your tone.” Lucus snapped. “Well say something.” Melina’s mother yelled. “Hi mummy,” Melina squeaked. “Harry…” Sirius growled. “Can we handle it from here?” Narcissa smirked cruelfully. “Oh yes, our punishment is nowhere near as gruesome as yours will be.” Snape said sitting in a chair. “Severus, lets go.” McGonagall said sternly. Her lips were pursed so thinly she looked like a hawk ready to strike. “Fine.” Snape growled before closing the hospital wing doors behind them.

“What did they do?” Ron asked with great interest. “Oh a lot of yelling.” Melina squeaked remembering how her mother and father yelled so much they began yelling in Jamaican. “And hitting.” Faith groaned reminiscing about the painful backhands her mother inflicted on her. “And cursing.” Draco and Harry added. “I had to actually use a blocking charm to keep them from hitting me” Draco said. “I never want to see Sirius angry again.” Harry began “You don’t want to know what you’re father hit me with,” Harry shivered looking towards Melina.



“Hermione.” Ron choked out. “Yes Ron.” she answered. “Are your parents violent?” Ron asked terrified. “No not really. Why?” Hermione asked. “I don’t want to get hurt.” Ron groaned. “Oh Ron.” Hermione replied rolling her eyes. “Did they punish you at all?” Ginny asked. “No, they said it would do them no good trying to keep us away from each other all summer until then the professors are on alert and detentions are flying.” Melina sighed. “That wasn’t so bad.” Hermione replied in her usual matter of fact tone. “Speak for yourself.” Harry and Draco muttered.



“I have a brief announcement to make this evening.” Dumbledore said tapping his glass to get their attention. All of the students looked up. “Firstly, I would like to thank my 7th year Gryffindor and Slytherin students for risking their lives to save all of the Wizarding world.” Dumbledore began his eyes twinkling behind his half moon spectacles. The whole room erupted into cheers. “Yes” Dumbledore began to quiet the room. “Next, I would like a moment of silence for Ms. Lavender Brown who died during her fight with the deatheaters.” Dumbledore said sadly. The whole room was silent except for a few muffled cries from Parvati and Hermione. Ron was holding Hermione while Seamus tried to comfort Parvati.



“Also a great thanks to Mr. Harry Potter for being a true Gryffindor, exemplifying bravery, courage, fortitude and forgiveness.” Dumbledore said looking towards Draco and Faith. “The war is over my friends but we must still be on alert. Followers still remain hidden in our midst. Remember these words strong are we united, weak are we apart.” Dumbledore said. The room was silent. It had a feeing of triumph going through it.



Faith knew her life was going to be wonderful. She had her friends and family by her side always. Most of all she had the person she loved the most by her side…Draco.

Chapter 26: Graduation

“Everyone I would like to present our graduating class of Hogwarts in the year 2004!” Dumbledore announced. The whole room erupted into cheers and shouts. “Friends, family and parents.” Dumbledore addressed the crowd. “You have watched these students in front of me mature from small children into wonderful young adults. I have had the pleasure of getting to know so many of them these past 7 years. I hope that our staff and myself have given them the key tools to go into this world and became successful human beings. I wish all of you the best luck and that even in departing from each other, will keep these ties you have made over the years. I now give you our head boy and girl. My. Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.” Dumbledore said.



The loudest cheer come from the middle where Faith, Melina, Ron and Draco were sitting. “Hermione you start.” Harry said grinning. “Oh thanks, Harry.” Hermione said mockingly. Everyone got a good laugh out of that. Hermione walked to the podium in front of her, took a deep breathe before beginning her speech.



“My fellow students, friends, family and Hogwarts staff. The day I got my letter from Hogwarts changed my life, as I know it today, as I’m sure it did for many in this room. It brought me into a world of enchantment, surreal places and amazing people. They were in a way just like myself. They want friends, a way to fit in, love, compassion, acceptance and success.” “The first day I came to Hogwarts I met my two best friends.” Hermione paused as Ron waved in the audience while Harry smiled from his chair.



“Yes at first we bickered like cats and dogs and sometimes tend to now. They have guided me through some difficult times. The teachers offered a challenge and a helping hand. A challenge I found quite easy at times.” She laughed along with several other students. “I gained the title “Know-it–all Granger from this. However, this school has made me what I am today. It has made all of us who we are. It will always be a great part of me.”



“To my parents who, who have been there from the very beginning. I love you so much. To the Weasleys, I have always been like a member of your family and I am so grateful to have you there all the time. To Parvati, Ginny, Faith and Melina thank you so much for being my best of friends to laugh with and lend a crying shoulder. I know we will all miss our dear friend, Lavender. She’d be happy to see us together as the best of friends no matter what our house.” Faith and Melina smiled at her comment.



“To Harry, thank you I owe you my life, friendship, love and care. I could and still count on you to be silly and caring whenever I need it.”



“To Malfoy, I know we started off as bitter enemies but I’m glad we set our differences aside. You’ve become a terrific friend, you little ferret.” Hermione added. Malfoy smirked at her joke. ‘I know I will forever be know-it-all Granger and would have it no other way.” Hermione said.



“To Ron, my love and right hand. I know we can bicker and disagree but I know it will never tear us apart. I love and care for you more than words can ever say.” Hermione said smiling sweetly. Ron mouthed, “I love you, too.” to her as she continued on.



“The terror is gone and all is well. I hope Hogwarts and its students remain the same noble and caring people I know forever. Thank you.” Hermione said coming down from the podium. Harry gave Hermione a great big hug as the cheers died down as he stepped up to the podium.



“Good Morning Hogwarts students, staff, friends and family. The day Hagrid barged through my front door and told me I was wizard was the day my life changed forever. I was instantly thrown into a world I knew nothing about but for some reason everyone knew my name. I was and still am known as “The-Boy-Who-Lived”. My first year of Hogwarts was filled with happiness, confusion and in most cases headaches. I always had two people to lend a helping hand and explain most things I didn’t know about the Wizarding world. Ron, my best friend, silly, funny, brave, caring, light-hearted, smart and a comfort. Hermione, my best friend, caring, sweet, intelligent, comforter, mediator, funny and always there to keep a stable head on my shoulders. She pushed me to strive to be the best I can be. I love you both so much. You are truly the brother and sister I never had.” Harry paused. Ron was beaming with pride while Hermione had a few tears in her eyes.



“To the Weasleys…my true family, you have taken me in and held me under your wing. I love all of you to death. You took me in as your own son and I am grateful to be so loved.”



“To Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, the true marauders, I could go on for days about how much each of you mean to me. You’re both so much like a father to me. To Albus Dumbledore, you have told me so many things I didn’t want to hear but I understand now that they were for my protection. You are a treasured mentor and I can never forget you. “



“To the staff… thank you for all of your merciless yelling and scolding to keep my head from getting any bigger except with knowledge.”



“To my best of mates, Seamus, Dean, Neville, Fred and George you guys always have a special place in my heart. Malfoy, we started as grade school rivals but have established ourselves as great friends. To Faith, you’ve become almost like a sister to me. I owe you for bringing this wonderful person into my life.” Harry said stealing a glance at Melina who looked about ready to cry with Faith.



“Melina, I love you more than I love myself some days. You’re smile can truly brighten a room. You comfort and care for me more than anyone else ever will. There is no me without you.” Said Harry looking directly at her. Melina had tears coming down her cheeks at Harry’s words.



“I for one know what it’s like to worry about the people you love. Most of my years were spent worrying if someone else would die because of being involved with me. Most of the times I was either being ridiculed out of spite and fear. Everyone in this room knows about the prophecy. It has been fulfilled but the remnants still linger. Some still wish to believe I killed Voldemort so, I could take over which is ridiculous. I know everyone in this room does not believe a word of it and I respect you all beyond your belief for it. Thank you all so much.” Harry finished his speech.



The cheers and applause were enormous. Snape even seemed slightly touched. Hermione gave Harry a bone-crushing hug before they walked down from the stage arm in arm. Melina relieved Hermione of her duties by throwing her arms around his neck in a long kiss. Ron already had Hermione in a lip lock. Faith and Draco couldn’t help but chuckle. Dumbledore tapped his spoon to his glass to call attention. The two couples let go as Dumbledore began to talk. “Thank you, Harry, Hermione your speeches were truly touching. Students if you would please rise.” Dumbledore said. The teachers came to stand by Dumbledore in the center of the stage.



“You have all been taught to the best of our ability. There are no doubts in our mind you will move on to fulfill your true destinies. Good luck to all of you. Now…” Dumbledore said slowly as he stretched his arms forward. “I release you into the world to do as you will.” Dumbledore said slowly as he brought his arms back to his sides. The graduation ceremony had finally concluded and there 7 years at Hogwarts had come to an end.

“So what do you guys need to show us? We have seen basically all of Hogwarts.” Hermione said walking on the well-known path to the lake. The girls all had on short summer dresses each in different colors. Hermione’s was a daffodil yellow sprinkled with flowers. Melina’s was a baby blue with wisps of white in it. Faith’s was a bright green with a small slit on each side.



“You’ll see.” Ron said sweetly. “It’s a good thing it’s a warm night or else we’d be freezing right now.” Melina said rubbing her hands up and down her shoulders. “No worries love, we’re almost there.” Harry said gently kissing Melina’s hand. “I never remembered their being a garden on Hogwarts grounds.” Faith said suspiciously. “We made a few alterations.” Draco said as they walked into the small garden. There were just about every color rose in the garden. In the center of the garden were three white wicker chairs. “Sit.” the guys said. All three girls exchanged glances before sitting in a chair.



Ron walked up to Hermione and began to speak. “Hermione, you are the smartest, funniest, loveliest, and most beautiful woman I have ever met. I’ve known this from the first day I met you. From the way your eyes sparkle to your dazzling smile and personality to match. I wouldn’t change a single thing about you. You are the perfect woman and I can never forger that.” Ron confessed with the sweetest smile. Hermione’s joy was beyond words; she couldn’t hide the smile and warmth she felt. “I love you, Ron.” Hermione said hugging him tightly.



After she let go, Harry took his place by Melina. “Melina, from the moment you came into my life it has been a time I can never forget. Yes, I remember how much we fought in the beginning. After we put aside our differences my time with you has been pure bliss. You are a delight and are so beautiful. You amaze me everyday with a new joke or your spectacular smile. You take my breath away with your beauty. I love every last thing about you. From your delightful personality to the tips of your hair. I love you more than words can say.” Harry confessed sincerely. Melina was crying her eyes out. She was radiating with happiness. She gave Harry a huge hug and a gentle kiss on the cheek.



Melina let go as Draco approached Faith. “Faith, you are the rising sun and shining star in my life. I could never imagine life without you in it. I couldn’t help but fall in love the moment I saw you. The way you walk, talk and look drive me insane everyday because it’s all so perfect in everyway. I found a reason for living through you. A reason for dreaming, loving and finally letting go. I will never be perfect but you certainly are in every way a person can be. A room can’t help but light up when you’re in it. The reason for all of these things love is you.” Draco confessed truthfully. Faith had tears flowing down her cheeks and planted a kiss right on Draco’s lips. “I love you.” she whispered softly.



“Now for what you’re really waiting for…” Harry said smiling. Draco’s wand emitted green and silver sparks reading…”Faith Amorian”. “Harry’s wand emitted red and silver sparks reading…”Melina Magenta.” Ron’s wand emitted red and gold sparks reading…”Hermione Granger.” The sparks merged into one. All three guys went down on one knee, as the words became ”Will you marry me?”. Faith, Melina and Hermione were dazzled by what they saw. Faith’s ring had a platinum band with a diamond in the middle and one emerald on each side. Melina’s ring had a platinum band with a diamond in the middle and one ruby on each side. Hermione’s ring had a gold band with a square cut diamond in the middle.



“Yes of course!” all three girls exclaimed kissing their fiancés. “I love you, Draco.” Faith whispered in his ear. “And I love you.” Draco said. “I love you, baby.” Melina said crying into Harry’s shoulder. “I love you, too.” Harry said. “Ron, this is so beautiful.” Hermione said with tears clouding her eyes. “It’s all for you love.” Ron said. “Darlings, we’d love to stay here forever but we have to go back.” Draco said breaking away from Faith’s embrace. “We know.” Faith replied. Each guy held out their hand to help their future wives up. They took their hands in reply as the six of them walked up to the castle.



As they made their way to the Great Hall it seemed darker than before. “Oh we forget you more surprise.” Ron said as they walked into the Great Hall. The entire room lit up with a huge banner saying “Congratulations” and all their friends and family together. “Surprise!” everyone yelled as balloons and confetti fell everywhere. “How did you?” Melina started. “Oh just with help from a few friends and teachers.” Harry said casually. Just then Professor Snape, Dumbledore and McGonagall walked over.



“Congratulations, I wish all of you the best.” Dumbledore said with a wink to Harry. “You all knew?” Hermione asked baffled. “Yes Ms. Granger or should I say Weasley, we all knew.” Snape said deviously. “Thank you, professors.” Faith said practically bursting with happiness. “You’re very welcome, you all deserve the best. You’re truly perfect for each other.” McGonagall said with a smile. “Now I believe your parents are just anxious to see you so we will leave you to them.” Dumbledore said with the same mischievous twinkle in his eye. He was right as always because they were rushing up to them at that very moment.



“Oh Hermione I’m so happy for you! It would be an honor to have you as my daughter!” Mrs. Weasley said also crying. “Thank you.” Hermione replied wiping away yet another tear. “Ron, I wish both of you all the happiness in the world, take care of our daughter.” Mr. Granger said. “I will sir.” Ron replied shaking his hand.



“This guy here is a piece of work, I hope you can handle him.” Sirius said deviously. ”No worries he’ll behave.” Melina said kissing his cheek. “Harry take care of our baby. She’s all we have. I trust you man.” Melina’s father said to Harry. “I will I promise.” Harry said squeezing her hand.



“I knew it from when I first met you, Faith. Keep him in check for me.” Narcissa said winking at her. “Oh he will right, Draco?” Faith said pleasantly. “Yes, hunny.” Draco said attentively. “You’ll take care of her and keep her from doing anything irrational?” Valerie asked. “Absolutely.” Draco replied holding Faith’s waist.



“I’ll never forget this.” Faith whispered in his ear. “Neither will I.” Draco whispered kissing her hand.



Their life together would be amazing…whatever may come their way would

Be trampled through the power of their true love.

Epilogue: “Come What May.”



“Mum!” Faith yelled. “Yes Faith.” Valerie answered. “Where are my shoes? Did the caterer get to the hall yet? Where is everybody?” Faith asked pacing the floor in a panic. “Faith, Faith.” Valerie said stopping her daughter mid motion. “I’ve already spoken with the caterer and he has it under control. The girls were getting their shoes on last I saw. Your shoes are right there.” Valerie said pointing to the box under the vanity. “Oh, mum I’m wreck.” Faith said sitting on her vanity bench. “No you’re not. You are beautiful.” Valerie smiled making Faith look in the mirror.



She was right. Faith’s long hair was in perfect ringlets going down her back. Her soft pink eye shadow, blush and lip-gloss complimented her face brilliantly. Her dress was all white with the bottom embroidered with pink rose decals. A chain of pearls sewn into the dress connected each. The dress was a halter with a large dip in it. The bodice had the same detailing but instead was connected in a criss-cross pattern. One single rose was connecting the last string of pearls to the pearls going up the lining of the dress. Her shoe’s had the same pattern.

Faith’s chandelier earrings had a small diamond in them. She wore her grandmother’s silver necklace with a diamond in the shape of a heart in the center. The bracelet was simple only having a thin chain holding together the mini diamonds. Faith looked at her reflection and finally saw what her mother had been saying for years. “Thanks mum.” Faith said hugging her mother.



“Hey Faith, are you any less nervous now?” Melina asked coming in with Hermione, Parvati, Korina, Blaise and Ginny not far behind her. “Yea, well a little truthfully.” Faith admitted. “I’ll let you girls talk while I go check on our guests.” Valerie said walking out of the room. “Look sis, don’t worry so much. This is the happiest day of your life, don’t spend anymore of it worrying.” Korina said supportively. “You’re right, I can’t help it though.” Faith sighed sitting back down at the vanity.



“The minute you see Draco at the alter, Faith, all of your doubts will vanish. The only thing left in your mind will be how much you love him.” Melina said dreamily. “Trust us on this.” Hermione replied sweetly. “Faith, all you think about is him and when you get out of here…the fun begins.” Korina smirked slyly. “Korina…” Faith laughed. “Listen to her.” Parvati, Ginny and Blaise said simultaneously. “Okay, Okay.” Faith said smiling. “This is really going to be the best day of my life.” Faith thought to herself.

“Malfoy stop pacing your giving me a headache.” Harry demanded. “Shut it, Potter.” Malfoy snapped. Malfoy had been pacing ever since he had put on his all black silk tuxedo. “Harry…leave him alone.” Ron said seeing the look on his face. “Malfoy, it’s all going to be okay. The moment she comes down the aisle your heart will be out of your stomach, trust me.” Xavier said patting him on the shoulder. “If you don’t stop pacing however, you are going to make a hole in the ground.” Seamus warned. Malfoy shot him a look that said “I know that.”



“I’m nervous, okay.” Malfoy said finally sitting down. “No kidding.” Neville laughed. Malfoy slicked back his already pin straight hair. “Malfoy, you love her right?” Dean asked bluntly. “Absolutely.” He sighed. “Then stop worrying about whether the organ is in tune and focus on Faith.” Montague said softly. Malfoy looked up from the ground. All of his best friends were starring at him waiting for an answer. Malfoy took a deep breath and stood up. “Alright, I’m ready.” Draco said confidently.



“Now that’s the Draco I know.” Narcissa said walking in the room. “They are right, son.” “I know mum…” Draco trailed off. “Don’t think about him. He…He would still be proud of you. Under different circumstances he would be here. Take your father out of your mind.” Narcissa said soothingly. Draco hugged his mother tightly. “I love you mum.” He whispered as he let go of her embrace. “I love you, too, Draco.” Narcissa said kissing him on the forehead.



“Guys you better begin to take your places, we’re going to start soon.” Narcissa reminded. “Oh yea. Alright good luck, Malfoy.” Harry said patting him on the shoulder. Ron, Seamus, Neville, Dean and Montague followed suit. “See you soon, brother-in-law.” Xavier winked. Malfoy smirked as he walked out of the room. Draco sat in the chair and tried to stop his heart from racing and his knees from shaking. “This is it. I know I’m doing the right thing. Faith truly is the love of my life. No matter how much I wish my father could be here, I know he would have done everything to prevent it as well.” Draco thought deeply.

Faith sat by her vanity alone in deep thought. “Oh Merlin, this is it. No more rehearsals and planning this the real thing. I’m happy but have so many butterflies at the same time. I love Draco, though. I won’t let any of this wedding stuff get to me. I have to keep saying that. All I need to do is focus on him…”



Seasons may change winter to spring

The organ begins to play. Everyone was in their places waiting for their cue to begin the walk down the aisle. The bridesmaids and groomsmen walk in pairs. Blaise and Montague; Dean and Ginny; Seamus and Parvati; Ron and Hermione; Harry and Melina; Korina and Xavier. Neville had a special assignment. Neville escorted Narcissa and Valerie to their seats. It was decided this way to include him in the wedding. Faith stood in the back waiting with her father, heart still racing.



“Daddy, where’s mum?” Faith asked nervously. “At her seat, darling now stop worrying.” Lucus said lovingly. “Alright…will it stop?” Faith asked not long after. “Yes it will, in about two minutes when you see Draco at the alter.” Lucus replied. Faith looked quickly to see her father was indeed correct. Dean and Ginny were already making their way down the aisle.

Draco stood at the alter watching each of his friends come down glistening. Finally Draco saw Korina and Xavier begin their descend. He knew it was time. The organ began playing, the guests stood as Faith and her father appeared.



Come what may Come what may

All of Faith and Draco’s worries and doubts flew from their minds the moment they saw each other. Draco’s voice was caught in his throat for he had never seen a more beautiful sight. Faith almost lost her breath from the mere sight of him. She was beaming from ear to ear as she walked down the aisle to meet him. The walk seemed like forever because all she wanted was to be with him. Draco’s mind was finally at peace especially when her hands slipped gently into his as she took her final steps to the alter. Faith and Draco turned to face each other as the ceremony began.



Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place

Suddenly it moves in such a perfect grace



“Before the presentation of the rings, the groom has a small gift he would like to make to his wife to be.” The preacher smiled. “Draco, what is he talking about?” Faith whispered. “You’ll see…you may want to turn around though.” He whispered sweetly. Faith slowly turned in anticipation of what this could be. “Merlin, Draco, how did you? Oh my God!” Faith squealed with delight. Standing in front of her were her two favorite muggle stars, Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. “Nice to meet you. This man loves you to death sweetheart. He made so many calls to find us all for you.” Nicole smiled amiably.



“He told us about your love for the movie so, he pulled a few strings for us to come and surprise you.” Ewan replied with a grin. Everyone including Faith was in tears. “You’re here to sing my favorite song and Draco set this all up?” Faith asked in disbelief. “Yes.” Nicole nodded. Faith turned to Draco. “I love you so much. Thank you.” Faith cried hugging him. “I love you, too.” He whispered. The music began playing with Nicole and Ewan beginning to sing. “Both of you have written your own vows so you may begin.” The preacher instructed.



Draco took a piece of paper from his pocket and began to recite. “Faith you brighten my life more than any one person in this room could. You’re talented in everyway a person could be. You’re beautiful, amazing, funny, brilliant and a delight to be around. Ever since the day I first met you my life has never been the same, it all truly revolves around you…”



Suddenly my life doesn’t seem such a waste

“Everyone here knows what I used to be and how I used to act. Without you about half of the people here would still hate me. In spite of myself you saw through my exterior and drew out a person I never knew existed. I will cherish you forever, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health as long as we both shall live.” Draco said with tears coming from his cheeks as he read it. Draco took the ring from the ring bearer and slipped it on her finger. It had a platinum band with a small diamond engraved in it.



And there’s no mountain to high

“Draco my true love, I can’t believe I was lucky enough to ever find a person as charming, funny, loving wonderful, brilliant and handsome as you. It has been only 5 years we’ve known each other but I feel like we have been together a lifetime. The feeling I get from just being around you is indescribable.
