I've been a fan for years. They're responsible for most of my interest in music. Granted, they haven't released material up to the standards of their old stuff in years, but they're still excellent. Still the best live band I've ever seen.

Most of them. I think I own all the albums. And a couple of their videos.

Favorite songs?
So many to list! Whiplash, Seek and Destroy, Four Horsemen, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Fade to Black, Master of Puppets, Sanitarium, Orion, Blackened, One, Harvester of Sorrow, Enter Sandman, Unforgiven I, Wherever I May Roam, King Nothing....... *PHEW* losing stamina here! There are more, I just don't want to list anymore. :)

I think Jaymz is the heart and soul of the band, but Cliff Burton sure was awesome. :( RIP Cliff.

I only own their 80's masterpieces. The rest is not as good. And they totally blew it with St. Anger, worst album of 2003.

Everything that came out before 1992. Nothing after the black "Metallica" album. Saw them seven times on tour for that album and once when they opened for Ozzy at Madison Square Garden in 1986. I have to admit I have not heard anything they've put out after 1992.

Cliff Burton, I remember feeling so shocked when I learned that he had died. There was a huge spread in Kerrang! magazine about him in tirbute. Don't know if Kerrang! exists anymore; it was a British metal mag back in the 80's.

I love Metallica. :D Well...their old stuff. Metallica was the best album. I don't like the new ones too much.

James. He always reminded me of my big brother. And a guy I knew once from 2002.

I bought my movie ticket today to see "Some kind of monster" this coming Sunday at my city's film festival. Its a long one,(137 min.) I hope it's good. And I saw them in concert last March. I LOVE those guys. :)
