Sorry if this has already been posted. Feel free to delete this if it has.
BUT, How many times are you going to see POA? or how many time have you already seen it?
Just trying to see, on average.. I'm going to see it for the second time today.

I've seen it twice so far. I'm gonna see it again for the third time on Friday. I'm taking my little cousins who are visiting from Pittsburgh to see it.

I never ever ever (did I mention never?) go to the movie theatres, and I went and saw it twice on Friday (opening day).
I'd like to go again, but we'll see. We live in a small town, and it's playing at our little theatre here, so I might go here if there's other folks who want to go. And I might go with other friends or family if they're going sometime.
I'll be sure to get on the list to get it from the library when it comes out, and we might even buy it when it comes out on DVD. I'd like to get the videos as a box set, so we'll see.
But yeah, I've seen it twice, and I might go again. :)

I plan to see the movie at least twice. But then I'll watch it over and over when it comes out on DVD. I am really looking forward to seeing the extras, like the making of PoA and such.

I doubt that I will pay to see it again in theaters. However, once the DVD comes out, I am definitely eager to check out the deleted scenes...perhaps once I see those, I won't be so disappointed with the film.

I'll see it as many times as it takes to finally get boring!;)
No...that won't happen, so it'll probably be something like 3-4 times (I've already seen it twice). But the DVD will be a real bonanza!
Catherine Weasley
June 8th, 2004, 12:18 am
I'll probably see it at least one or two more times (I saw it already on Friday.) Then when the DVD comes out, I'll probably watch it several hundred more times. ;)

I will probably see it just once more in theatres (hopefully in IMAX) and then wait for the DVD. Hopefully it will be an improvement from the theatrical release.

I've seen it once with a big party surounding it and it was all very exciting and I think I might have missed some details so I'll take my sister to see it with me again when I visit my family but that will be it. I rather save my money for the DVD - and I'm sure I'll watch its lots of times :)

I've seen it once (opening day), but I'm going to see it again with my brother on Wednesday (I think). He said he'd take me whenever he gets to go into work late. So YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Also probably for my birthday if it's in the theatres that long, hopefully it is. And if I get money for my birthday I'll probably see it another two or three times.

I must admit something. I LOVED the first two movies and i was disgusted, at first, at PoA and its lack of resemblence to the other movies. But now that i think about it, I don't mind that much and would like to see it MANY, MANY more times. I LOVE Harry Potter and I can't wait for OoTP cause it's gonna kick some SIRIUS butt.

wow. Don't you have like... school, or a job, or a budget? :)
I plan on seeing it at least twice. Saw it on Friday night, and taking my mom to see it next Sunday. Will probably see it once more after that. I can't see a movie more than three times in the theater. My sister saw Pirates of the Caribbean 9 or 10 times. I just can't justify spending that much money on a movie. Here, it's about $10 for a movie ticket!

I have seen it twice now. The first time was the midnight showing on the 4th, then on Monday the 7th at an IMAX theater. I might go to see it today (Tuesday) with a friend of mine who has not see it yet.
As for how many times I plan to see it.......
Not sure yet, maybe once more after my friend and I see it together, then I can anticipate for the DVD's arrival.

You must live in the Chicago area.......so do I! I saw it at an IMAX theater in Woodridge / Naperville. In the west suburbs. It's about 10 minutes from my house on Route 53, if you know where that is. But depending on where about the Chicago area you live, it might be even further for you then Navy Pier.
Here (http://www.cinemark.com/theater_showtimes.asp?theater_id=403) is the theaters web site with the Harry Potter times and the movie theaters address. :)
If you get a chance to see it on an IMAX theater you wont regret it!

eh...I've seen it once....and I'm going to see it again in IMAX, I think I'm going to spend the rest of my money watching "Saved" with Mandy Moore...looks interesting.
Besides It didn't really feel like watching something new when I first saw it...just words put into pictures...so I'll pretty much see it every time I read PoA until the DVD comes out.

Well, I've already seen it once, and my Dad left to go out of town. I know my Mom is going to want to see it with me, so I'll probably see it with her once again and then when my Dad gets home, see it together. So a total of 3 times, maybe 4 if a friend wants to see it again.

I've seen it 3 times already - starting to get expensive though! I'll only go again if the nearest IMAX to us (it's still an hour away by train) gets it... but I don't think British IMAXs are doing PoA, or are they?
Naturally I'll get the DVD - can't wait for the special features!

I saw it on opening day, then again two days later. I'm hopefully going to see it at the drive-in this weekend, and then I'll go at least once more with my mother and once with my friends. So five times, more if I can. I wanted to go to a midnight showing on June 4 and also see it at an IMAX, but the area I live in made those plans extremely difficult to achieve.

I saw it twice on Friday, then once Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Today. I do have a job and a life, but I had the idea to do a little project involving the movie, so I'm going to be seeing it as many times as I can till they take it out of the theaters or till my budget no longer allows it. By the way, I believe that the film has gotten better with each viewing - especially the early scenes :)

I've seen it once (openning day) and I'll be seeing it again this coming Friday. I'll see it at least once, maybe twice, more after this, and then when I'm in Boston/New York in mid July, I'm going to try to catch it on IMAX. So, a total of 4-5 times. :) Of course, I'll also get it on DVD.

I've seen it 3 times. Opening day, Saturday 6/5 at the IMAX in NYC and then earlier today I got my friend to go see it with me. I'm planning on going as many times as I can afford. Our local theatre (one of the 6 w/in 15mins of me) does the twilight show for $4.75(yippeeee!) so I'll try to keep doing that one. Hopefully it will be on IMAX at local theatre as well.

I've seen it twice. I'll probably see it one more time in the theater and then wait for it to come out on DVD. Theaters are expensive and it's annoying that you can't pause the action to go to the restroom or get a snack. However, the big screen and surround sound and all of that beats watching it at home. Kind of like Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, just isn't as good at home as it was in the theater - the main scene I think about is the lighting the beacons - much better on the big screen. Although I'm not sure if there really are any scenes in the third Harry Potter movie that are just so phenomenal that they wouldn't be as good on the tv at home.

Saw it Midnight June 3rd at the THX certified Arena Grand in Columbus.
Second time at the IMAX in Columbus, and wow what a diffrence, if you have a chance get you bum to the nearest IMAX. The amount of detail and care that you can see in the movie on IMAX is breathtaking.
Third hopefully tommorow again at the IMAX.
Fourth hopefully Friday.
and then maybe once again before Spider Man 2 hits, and based on a review I caught this one will be as stunning a change for the series as POA was.

What about the Buckbeak flying scene. Come on you know that won't look as good on tv, plus the Whomping Willow scene. I have speaker, but I don't think anyone has speakers that will shake the theatre!

The most time I've ever seen any movie was RotK. I have to say, after the fourth time of seeing such a good movie, it can get dull. I normally enjoy movies on dvds better. I might go see it once more in theaters and one at IMAX. In fact, I'm going this weekend to see PoA. I've seen it twice already. One on opening day, and one on the very next day. I might not beat my own record, which is only four, but, hopefully I will beat it with GoF. :eyebrows: Can't wait to see all the teen drama, romance, and adventure!

Oh, now I am super jealous. The only times I can go to avoid the shreiking toddlers is when the ticket prices go up and I can't afford it. Maybe I should look into a job at a movie theatre! :D They better like weird hair colors... :p
But I cant vouch for their benefits. Its either too busy or too slow. They send you home early(AMC theatres love to do that.) The pay isnt that great. But if you love popcorn and free movies, you should be one happy camper. :tu: I work at a science center now, so the education benefits are GREAT! Im not sure about the hair colors though, but I work with a guy with many piercings.

I've seen it twice, and I would probably see it again in IMAX if they play it here, but after that I think I'll wait until it's on DVD... movies are so expensive!

I think, for me, as much as possible because Drcao Malfoy was so cute in PoA also the twins were looking good... It was fun but I'll have to admit... my real point of view is that I like the first two movies rather than PoA because PoA has lots of stuff missing ;p

I am going to see it for the 4th time on Sunday. It'll be my first time seeing it in IMAX though. I really haven't tired of it yet, I enjoy it so much. But I'm running out of friends and reasons to take them to see it so I don't think I'll be going much after this. However, I will be pre-ordering the DVD so I can have unlimited viewings.

I just came back from my 4th viewing - 2nd time in IMAX (really, after the IMAX experience, I can't go back to the smaller screen haha). Simply fabulous, as expected. :)
Up until about 10 mins before showtime, I thought I would have the theatre to myself - sadly, a few souls wandered in ;) Excuse me, but I have to vent (and if you know of a thread where this is being discussed, please direct me) but why the h-e-double-hockey-sticks would you bring your 3-yr-old to this movie?? I'm not really concerned if your child can handle the dementers but a young child cannot sit still for 2 1/2 hours! These parents can afford the IMAX ticket price but they can't afford a babysitter for a few hours?? I wish I had my magic wand with me; I would have turned that child behind me (and her parents!) into ferrets and fed them to Buckbeat! Thank you... venting over... back to our regularly discussed topic ;)

3 times now, fourth next week... going to see Shrek this weekend though (special advance previews in the UK).
Maybe an end of exams treat?
I do wish they'd show it on IMAX over here though... although my nearest IMAX is in Birmingham (60 miles away / 3 days by British Rail).

I've now seen it five times in theaters and once at my house (due to a very nice birthday gift). I don't need to go to the theater to see it anymore, but who knows, I might go again anyway. I enjoy movies more on the big screen. Once the *actual* DVD comes out in November, I'll probably watch it about once a week for quite some time. Or maybe every day for quite some time, like I did for the first two.

I am very sad, I have only seen it twice, once with my friend and then once with my family. I tried to get my mom to let me go and see it the day it came out at midnight, but I had school the next day, so I ended up seeing it the next day. If I had a lot more funds I would go and see it like every day, it was a good movie, however they did wreck the ending according to me, seriously? Did Ron ever get Pig in the movie?

Hopefully it'll stay at the grand total of one time. Granted, I saw it on opening night and was quite excited for it (I came to the theatre with a friend 1.5 hours early and we bugged the ushers to let us in before everyone else) and didn't think it was the worst movie ever (Zoolander was worse) but I'm not a fan of the movies at all. The books are just so much better that the movies will never do them justice.
I'll still be excited every time another movie comes out, but I doubt I'll be seeing them more than once or twice.

The movie!Hermione. She's so OOC. The things that she did in the movie, like howling like a wolf, getting the other character's important lines, jumping over the swinging Womping Willow's branch, not even "tired" of all the subjects she was supposed to be taking and other things that she never did in canon. LOL! By the supposed climax scene, I was totally expecting Hermione to cast a Patronus and saved Harry :td: . There was nothing remotely similar between movie!Hermione and canon!Hermione.
