What system(s) do you have? Which games do you play on it? Why do you like those particular games?

Oh yeah! I have a Playstation, a Playstation 2, a Sega Genesis (oldschool!), a Nintendo 64, a Gameboy Pocket and my brother has a Gameboy Advance SP.

I usually play my Playstation 2 and I love Crash Bandicoot and this snowboarding game called SSX3. On Nintendo 64 I used to have a super fun Donkey Kong game which my brother sold (I was so mad!) and for Gameboy I'll admit I still occasionally play Pokemon Silver. And of course good old Tetris.

I'm not much of a Microsoft or Sony chick. What I like is Nintendo. I have a GameCube and a GameBoy Advance SP, and I used to have a Nintendo 64.
~*~
On the N64, I used to mainly play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
When I got my GameCube, I switched to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Soul Calibur II, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
And on my GameBoy Advance SP, I usually play Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over or Super Mario Advance 4.

I have a PS2, GameCube bought from offering some of my old PS2 games for trade in so I paid nothing for it and the GameBoy Advanced attachment that you can get for the GameCube. At the moment I can not say which games I enjoy playing due to loosing interest this month, that normally happens with me but I guarantee that I will enjoy them again sooner or later.

Oh let's see: we have 2 regular nintendos, a super nintendo, a nintendo 64, playstation, ps2, xbox, 2 pocket gameboys, gameboy color, and 2 gameboy advances. It would take me forever to find out all the games we have, but I know we have a lot of Mario, Donkey Kong, and all of the Final Fantasy games.

I share everything with my brother. We have a PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and a Game Boy Advance each.
PlayStation is the first console I ever played, and I really like it a lot. I've always had trouble with the Nintendo controller.

Once we had a Game Cube (we traded our PS2 in for it), but then we traded it back a few months later. :D

I have most of the Squaresoft games, Crash Bandicoot series, and Legend of Dragoon. My brother has other games such as Tony Hawk and Onimusha (I think I spelled that right...).

Not into a whole lot of games, but I recently, like a week ago, bought myself a GameCube :D Because I know I like Mario Kart, some of the Mario Party games, HP games. Before that I have a dusty Game Boy somewhere. I never needed to buy my own systems though because my brother had every one imaginable:
Sega Genesis
Dreamcast
N64
Xbox
Playstaion (+2)
etc...
We even had an Atari :rotfl:

I play all kinds of games from NCAA to GTA, SOCOM 2, crash bandicoot, everything... For gameboy I have some okay games but my favorites are tetris and the 89' version of Super Mario! :tu:

Playstation, PS2, Gameboy SP, Gameboy Color, Pocket Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, XBox, and old Super Famicom...I don't play that much cos my brothers simply monopolize their consoles...but here's my fave games

-Final Fantasy series (PS, PS2)
-Kingdom Hearts (PS2)
-Metal Gear Solid, MGS2 (PS, PS2)
-Legend of Zelda (Gameboy-for now, I'm going to get my own console-Gamecube, just to play Zelda games)
-Crash Bandicoot (Gameboy, PS, PS2, XBox)
-Dance Dance Revolution (PS2)
-Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross (Super Famicom, PS)

That's about it. Pathetic, I know. My sibs and I only play during the hols when we return home, so those tons of games (the good, bad and ugly) my bros have share some similar main purpose: collecting dust.

A long time ago I had a Sega, with so many games I can't remember what they were all called. Then I got a Playstation (which I still have), my favourite games on that are probably HP PS + CoS. I'm going to buy a GameCube soon, and for my birthday I should be getting HP + the PoA, SpiderMan 2 and Super Mario 'Sunshine'. I like playing 'The Sims' on the p.c. (I have all but one of the expansion packs :eyebrows:), can't wait until 'The Sims 2' comes out!

If yours is a PS2 do you leave yours on standby alot, because I used to and I couldn't do that much past five minutes, and just out of intrest, can anyone else cheat on the "Agent on Board" level on Enter the Matrix and not get blasted after two seconds?

I very much agree there, because I'm tired of people dissing my wonderful N64 because it doesn't have as smooth pictures as the latest Gamecube or Xbox fads. The games are what matters, and I would take a strategic thinking game like The Legend of Zelda over a boring racing game anyday. Every now and then I pop out my old Super Nintendo too, just for memories of the wonderful days of Mario and Luigi :p

- GoldenEye: 007 on N64

- Super Mario 64 on N64

- The Legend of Zelda series on all Nintendo consoles (all the ones I've played are awesome!)

- Mario Kart: Double Dash!! on the GameCube (Amazingly I found myself yesterday more in love with this version than the hall of fame Super Mario Kart; I'm shocked with myself)

- Soul Calibur II on GameCube

- Ninja Gaiden on X-box

- Paper Mario on GameCube

- Knights of the Old Republic on X-box

- Prince of Persia on GameCube/X-Box

- Age of Empires on PC

- Medieval: Total War on PC

*The only regret I have for selling my PS2 is Tekken 5. But Soul Calibur 3 will make me forget this when it comes out next year.

woah. thats a lot of games. and money.

Not really, I'm allowed to get a console a year and a game or two a month. But I work my butt off at home for the money to do that. :p

And it doesn't cost as much as it used to; now that I have, um, lets just say ... "connections" if you know what I mean ... ;)

Harry Potter games, Mario games, The scorpion king, hitman 2. I like happy go lucky types of games but sometimes buy a game like hitman or scorpion king. I like the systems I have because they allow me to get something new when I link my games.

Oh, go to ur local Toy's R Us if they have ancient systems video games. They'll be half off of the clearance price. I just got me 2 N64 game for $15 and under. I think the lady told me it's all systems and it'll be going on until Sept. She told me there are some GC, PS2, XBOX games and there are plenty of PC games.

Do any of you ever visit used Video Game stores. I've found one with a good selection, but I don't like shopping there if I have to because, well, the place is dirty and they don't take good care of the older games. But, I've found some hard to find items there--like the redesigned Super Nintendo! w00t!

I have a Sega Genesis, but it has a temper, and if I dont position it just right, then the power wont connect right. I also have an N64, a PS2(I play SC1, GTA: VC, MoH: Frontline, MGS2, and MGS1(for PS, but it runs on PS2)) a gamecube(I've beaten all the games on it. It may not have as many titles as PS2 or X-Box, but it has great quality. My favorite in my collection are: Super Mario Sunshine, Zelda: Windwaker, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III, and my favorite, Viewtiful Joe.). I used to have a SNES, but it stopped working so it went to the trash. I also had a PS1, but since the PS2 can play PS1 games, I traded the PS1 for free games.

But my favorite system BY FAR is the pc. I don't have great specs(in fact, everything except the video card sucks), but it runs the games I have. I've been playing Call of Duty lately. I dare anyone to try to be quicker on the draw with a KAR98 than me at long range. I also constantly play BF: 1942, SC: PT online, Ghost Recon online. I used to play GTA: 3, but the CD got scratched very badly. I know I'm forgetting a game though...

A thing I hate is when people say they don't like the PS2 because the games don't look as good as those on X-box, or PC. SO?!?!?!?!? The PS2 has a MASSIVE library of excellent games. The X-box has about 3 great exclusives. And the PC IS better. I prefer PC gaming, but I don't like it when people can't look past dated graphics to see the excellent game that it is. Doom 3. I've played it, and the graphics are mind-blowing, but the gameplay is repetitive and uninspired. Yet people are still saying that it's the best game ever. I was on a forum, and people were putting down an excellent game, SC: PT, because it didn't look as good as Doom 3. I can see a couple things wrong wioth that.
1. SC: PT is a very different game than Doom 3
2. DUH!!!!! of course it doesn't look as good as Doom 3. No other game on the market looks as good.

And another thing, I HATE it when people consider themselves hardcore gamers because they own 4 games, 3 of which have MADDEN in the title. I consider a gamer to be someone who spends HOURS on their game, mastering every detail about it. The people who are gamers are people who have 100% completion on GTA: VC, not people who haven't gotten further than the 2nd mission, and play it hardly ever. In the last 3 months, I have logged over 175 hours playing CoD online. I have played in total over 350 hours of Battlefield 1942. I played Ghost Recon online for a total of about 75 hours. I have played GTA: VC to %100, and I played 175 hours in that game file. Every dollar I own goes towards upgrading my computer.(Which is hard, because I also need to buy the games as well...) I think I can consider myself a gamer.

Whew, sorry, I kinda ranted on for a while.

As for me, I have a PlayStation, PS2, SNES, Gameboy Colour, and Gameboy Advanced SP. The Gameboy's are my brother's but I still play them when he's not at home.

For PlayStation, I love to play all three Spryo the Dragon games, Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash. For PS2, I absoutley love Ratchet & Clank (both of them), and Jak & Daxter. I can't wait till "Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal" comes out in November :D. For SNES I love my Sailor Moon RPG, it's the only RPG I'll play. I also like Super Mario, Super Mario Karts, Donkey Kong, and Aladdin.

I love the Sims for the PC too. I have all the expansions, except for Makin' Magic, and Online. I am SO anxious for Sims 2 to come out. EEEEE, September 17th!! :D

I have a game boy color and an N64. We used to have an atari. Then I grew up and had to buy food and pay rent, and buying a $200 new console just couldn't fit the budget ;-)

But, I would love a PS2 just so I could play Kingdom Hearts. And an GameCube just so I could play Windwaker...

My favorite N64 games were LoZ:OoT, Mario 64, and Banjo Kazooie. My favorite game boy games were: LoZ: Link's Awakening, Tetris, and Picross. And I went through a Pokemon phase too, but the game play was waaaay repetitive ;-)

My favorite out of any of them has to be the Gameboy advance. I liked the screen in the middle. Cause you could strech your fingers out. I've got the new (old now that Ds is out) Sp. I like the lighted screen and how it folds. I think (even though I have never tried one) the SP more then the 200$ Ds -- cause its to clumsy looking. I love the Urbz on the Sp. I have all the Harry Potter games. And strangely enough I liked Ps (the old gameboy colour) one better then the new Hp games.
