Lucius. Absolutely. Bet Lockhart just turned green.

Well considering Dumbledore's age youd expect him to go bald but nope, he has, like, floor-length hair.

But the best hair totally goes to most of the Weasley's. I mean Percy's morning hair :rotfl: that was funny!

I agree, the Weasley's do have the best hair...lol. Personally, I thought Madame Hooch's hair was cool, but she was in SS, not CoS.

Welcome to the boards. For future reference, the "Muggle Media" forum is the area to discuss movie topics.

Anyways, Lucius's hair was pretty impressive. It's not how I imagined it but it still worked really well.

Hermione's hair when she was in Diagon Alley was actually very pretty. They've never succeeded in making it "bushy" but it looked nice none the less.

Lucius and Lockhart have the best! Harry's wasn't too bad, Draco's was nice, too, and Ron's was great!

Even though Emma's hair is not real, I like it a lot, the one in the first movie not the second; the second was not so good!

What do you mean Emma's hair wasn't real? I don't think they put a wig on her.

Heh heh u guys. Lucious kicks ***.

I think his hair was the best... and that clip of him and Dumbledore and Harry was like; 'Get out Harry, you dont have enough hair'!!. Cool...

oh man!! gotta put this up!!!
there was this interview from the herald sun over here in aus, where they were interviewing jason isaacs who plays lucius. he was talking about how he wanted lucius to have long blonde hair, so they had to get him a wig. then the article goes "question from a really dumb german journalist: so it vas a vig?" then isaacs goes "no. i grew blonde hair down to my a*** in the course of three weeks. it's amazing what a little Baby-bio and fertilizer can do."

I like Draco's hair. It might look better if it wasn't always slicked over, though. Hermione has very pretty hair too, of course. And I love the Weasleys' hair. I've always liked red hair.

Nope. I'd give Snape my vote. I have a weakness for long, dark hair shaped similarily to Alan Rickman's :o

Isaacs is definitely the right guy to play Lucius, with that nasty sense of humor!

Lucius Malfoy, They really did a great job on the hair.
Next I would say Snapes, It is just so greasy.
Then Prof. Dumbledore's It just looks so perfect.

-- Riddle, definitely. Love the floppy look. ^^
-- Lucius. What an amazing hairstyle! And ted with a nice little bow at the back in the Hut scene.
-- Draco. Very Slytherin-ish. My Mum said that he was a "Young businessman". OK ...
-- Percy's morning hair. That made me crack up!

No it's NOT a wig, it's ... I don't remember what's it's called (attached hair?) :o

When they did the first flim they went on interview and they talked about it. I think she said that she (Emma) liked the fullness of it but it took (3 hours) long to do, and I saw her when (on the telly that is) and her hair was short and thin, but really streight and and silky.

I don't remember the show, but Rupert and her were being interview. Maybe it was Good Morning America...not sure though.

Still like the first movie hair though!:)

Professor Sprout (Miriam Margoyles) wins the hair competition hands down. All the boufont, frizzy hair held down by a little hat...I'm surprised she hasn't been mentioned before.

I'm fairly confident Emma Watson had hair extensions for her role as Hermione. I remember reading an article on "Harry Potter Hair" somewhere (could have been the hairdresser, actually) and the hairstylist was discussing the art of extensions in reference to Lucius Malfoy, Hagrid, Hermione, Dumbledore etc.

Lucius' hair was definately the best.
I also liked Dumbledore's, the Weasleys' and in PS, Madam Hooche's.

I like Ron's hair now: the rock star thing... In the movie? Hm... Snape. I'd say Lucius if I couldn't see his real hair under his wig... And dude! Why is it that guys can grow the hair on their head all long n silky but then their beards are always curly and bushy, like Dumbledore? It don't make sense yo...

Percy's morning hair (although, if you want bad morning hair, you should see mine when i've had hairspray in it...)

Ron's hair in some scenes... I just want to run my fingers through it!

Same with Dan's, except all the time (he would get so freaked out if he ever read things on this board... all these creepy people wanting to run their fingers through his hair and talking about how cute he is!)

Emma's is great, a HUGE improvement on PS/SS.

I just love hair!

Did anyone else notice how Skinny Emma had gotten when she was on that Oprah interview?

Fuchsia
December 7th, 2002, 11:43 am
I didn't see the Oprah special but she does look thin.
But not any thinner than in SS.

lanifiel
December 7th, 2002, 11:46 am
Hmmm I disagree I watched PS two days after I watche dthe interview and she was alot thinner, but she was also taller so it might just be that...

dumbleedore
December 7th, 2002, 11:47 am
The robes and costumes would make her seem a lot heavier than what she is.

Fuchsia

Oh good point Dumbleedore. The robes...
And the robes make Grint look less Danny Bonaduce-ish.

OMG, I thought I had seen it all when the trekkies were dissecting Janeway's various hairstyles over the years (there is even a website devoted to the hairstyles of Voyager).... but I see the HP fans are just as obsessed.

Well, since I am here... two words:

Lucius... luscious

Emma's hair has impreoved, but it isn't supposed to. It's supposed to be a big bushy mess until the Yule Ball, hance the big shocker of her looking so beautiful. My Favourite hair of the CoS film is probably Ron Wealey's. I just love that faux-calm choatic ginger mess he had on his head, just like mine.

Dan's hair is by far the best in the whole movie. Now that he has gotten older he is alot hotter. I fill sorry for his mum and what she has to do to keep all the girls off of him. I like what rupert did to his hair now its all short and it fits him. I must give emma a tiny bit of credit she discovered a hair brush between films. I like toms hair to but he looks better with out the gel. An last percy's morning hair was a great laugh.

rotsiepots
February 10th, 2003, 10:49 pm
Oddly enough, I was watching a documentary on the making-of CoS and they went through the various steps taken to give hair extensions to Richard Harris, Robbie Coltrane, Mrs Norris (for some reason they had to spruce up the poor cat) and Emma Watson etc. I'm fairly certain that a lot of the hair we see on Hermione's head in CoS isn't actually the property of Emma Watson. It's mostly extensions and hair pieces etc.

Lucius Malfoy! Most definitely. The nice little ribbon just made it even greater =)

Easily, Emma Watson (Hermione). I liked Ginny's hair, too- it's nice and thick and red, just as I thought it should look.

Harry doesn't start getting his hair till PoA, and there it was perfect. Ron's messed-up look, and Hermione's curls also looked great.

December 10th, 2004, 1:26 am
I love Emma's hair, but they could have made it a bit curlier. I also have to say, what is up with all the actors taking on the "shag" hair cut? I'm not saying they all have to go military butch, but letting it grow long like that is just wrong. Harry Potter actors, please, for longenvity's sake, go see a hair consultant. In ten years, when you're watching the movies again, you'll be glad you did.

Lucius, definitely. I gotta find out what shampoo Legolas and him are using, hehe.

Oh - I also want to say that I think Tom Felton's hair looks better slicked back than sort of long and droopy in PoA. I know they were trying to go for a different look, but that's not a particularly good one, unfortunately. I like his "regular person" hair, though; they ought to just leave it like that for the movies.

Lucious Malfoys hair is quite nice I mean it has a nature look about it, all wavy and no gel. Snape's hair is not that bad if only he would wash it more.

Ginny has lovely hair too, not too red more auburn than anything else.
