I used to be a really big fan of hers, and I'm still a fan, but I've grown to like Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Lindsey Lohan too. Despite all the garbage that people say about Hilary I think she's a pretty good person and I don't care what the critics say...Her CD rocks! I'll buy her next one the day it comes out! :)

She should stick to acting. Her voice is extremely mediocre. I mean, my friend's friend's band did a cover of one of her songs and it sounded way better coming from a 25-year-old guy with a rockin' backed up by some massive guitars and drums, not to mention bass.

It was OK. The older episodes weren't that good. And the last few episodes where Lizzie and Gordo started....weren't that good either. Why isn't it on standard here! :grumble: Have to pay extra!

I've been a fan of Hilary Duff since I 'discovered' her about one year ago when my sister gave me her album, Metamorphosis, for Christmas. Even though many people don't like her, I've always found her to be a good person and she hasn't given me any reason to dislike her. I like her music (even though it might not be the best, it's good enough for me) and her acting but what I like most about her is her clean image, which appeals to the younger crowd (her main audience). To me, she is one of the artistes that does not need to do stuff like bare her body in order to get attention or fans.

Despite what a lot of people say, I have to admit that I quite like Hilary. The Lizzie McGuire Show is pretty cool; I watch it whenever it's on and there aren't many episodes I haven't seen. I also saw the Lizzie McGuire Movie, which was alright. Some of her music is quite nice too. I like Coming Clean and Fly, but I don't know many of her other songs.

I saw that thread too. But it addresses quite a different issue. Over here we're only looking for fans to talk about Hilary Duff but over there it's a debate over whether Lindsay Lohan or Hilary Duff is better. I said Hilary of course. :) The sad thing is that I used to like Lindsay too, until her 'Rumors' music video quite spoilt my impression of her.

She's an ok actress (I didn't mind Lizzie McGuire) but the relentless cuteness gets on my nerves, as does her "music''. Prancing around a stage wearing a studded wristband doesn't make you a rock star, or even a legitimate musician. It's hard not to get the feeling that she's all about the image more than any actual talent.
She should stick to acting, if she learns more than five expressions.
