As to dreams I am in sleep debt so I fall asleep just about 2 second after coming home from taking my little girl to school, and wake up when the three alarms tell me I have 15 minutes before I have to pick up my little girl from school so I do not have dreams that I remember althought I seem to remember I did dream that had I posted on a thread all about dreams

I actually had a dream right before OoTP was released. I had obtained the book, and opened it up, but I couldn't understand the words. I woke up feeling oddly disappointed. Just goes to show my apprehension about the book right before the release. The party had been fun though! I had a snitch painted on my face LOL :lol:

I dreamed that I had a wand, it was beautiful and it actually worked, I could do the spells from the Harry Potter books! But then it broke :( And I was looking for some of that tape Ron used to fix his wand, but I couldn't find it. So that was the end of my wand.

I was out side a city building. And Emma Watson was standing there giving out autographs. She was really nice and I got one. Then we turned the corner and JKR was in a booth and packing up ready to go home. Then we asked her for an autograph and she started spazing out and being really mean. I was sad!!!

Then another time I was in the great hall and Chris Columbus was there. I was the stand in For hermione and we were trying out a moaning myrtle scene. But this time hermione got kidnapped. It was very odd. Then we took a break and I ate lunch with Dan,Emma,Matt Lewis,and Devon Murray(Rupert was mysteriously missing)

i had stayed all night at this book shop waiting for the OoTP to come out and i finally got it. then i took it home to read it and i realized it was false!! yeah i was so crazy that i had know the first couple of words you know "the hottest day of the summer so far was drawing to a close." blah.blah.. and on... anyway i was reading and i realized it was fake! i was hella pissed off and it turned out to be harry potter goes around the world or sometin... yeah i woke up because i was soooooo angry and then i was really frantic cuz i thought the dream was real............. dont you HATE that??!!

I have Harry Potter dreams all the time, mostly about Sirius or shipping. They are usually about me and Sirius plus Harry and Hermione dating. They are sometimes about meeting JK and her telling me that H/Hr will happen. Sometimes I am Harry being captured or tortured by Voldemort.

I had a dream once where I was with my softball team, my parents, and my sister about an hour away in some tiny little town for a game. I don't remember what happened before this; all I remember is that suddenly we were all in a giant phone booth (big enough to fit about a hundred people, and it had some restaurants in it) with a bunch of people. A tornado had just ripped through but we were all fine. I was running around screaming, "HARRY! RON! WHERE ARE YOU?!" and then I found them over on a bench eating ice cream cones. :lol:

I also had a dream a few months before OotP came out where it was June 21st and I had my copy. It was really short (fewer pages than the first book) and I was really sad once I got it because I knew it wouldn't be any good. Of course I wasn't disappointed once the book actually came out, but that dream still scares me.

Draco and Harry were standing in a room, yelling at each other. Harry was an adult, Malfoy was a kid. Draco was mad because Harry was protecting him (Don't ask, I don't know). Harry and McGonagol had to lock him in the room from both entrances. I stayed in the room and watched Malfoy. He threw himself into a corner and muttered, "Why is this just like Harry's school life?" It was strange and I don't understand it at all.

I don't actually dream that I'm like Harry or anything, but I have had dreams where I might be walking down Diagon Alley, or in the library or something, with my friends. No actual Harry Potter characters, but just random people, or a familiar face might pop up.

I did dream that there was a printing error in my copy of Order of the Phoenix though, that was the scariest dream I had since I was 11! :scared:

I dreamed last night that I was Harry, and my friends (not Harry's, mine) were redecorating my room. I think Hermione was there at one point too. And then I, Harry, tried on some funny looking short shorts with buttons on the back that were too small and I couldn't get them past my knees.

That really had nothing to do with HP except that I was him... :lol:

I had one last night, in which Harry had taken Polyjuice to disguise himself as Ron and was watching a film of Sirius being restrained like in one of the trailers.

I don't think I've ever drempt of Harry himself, nor has he ever simply been in a dream. I have, however, dream quite frequently of Ginny. SOmetimes she's just plain old Bonnie, but most of the time she's Ginny. I drempt the Weasleys took me in as a border to earn some extra money. Not sure why I needed a place but there you go. I was also a muggle, maybe that's why thier dad let me stay. Anyway, the whole dream I was flirting with Ginny, and she I, but it never went past that. Dang...

I had this REALLY weird dream once (I am the queen of weird dreams- just ask my friend mrspadfoot, who puts up with me always insisting on telling them to her...).

I was in the garden shed, and I was trying to fight Voldemort, only I was losing. Harry was in the corner of the shed playing the piano, and I kept yelling at him to 'stop playing the stupid piano and HELP ME!' but he wouldn't take any notice. THEN Lupin came in, and with him was this random guy with a monocle, who for some reason was called Jeremiah. (Jeremiah didn't do anything, he just went and stood in a corner.)

Lupin pointed his wand at Voldemort, and yelled 'Accio Voldemort!'. Then Voldemort came flying towards him, and Lupin smacked him down onto the shed floor. Wahoo! i think Voldemort was dead, I don't really know, because that's when I woke up....

I've never had a Harry dream, but my little sister once sat up in her sleep, began clapping and saying "Harry...Potter...Won.." Then she sort of yawned and slumped back down. Now that was a wierd thing to witness :huh:

A few months ago I had an interesting dream, where I was married to Draco and was wondering whether Golden Shreddies or Cinnamon Shreddies would be best to poison him with. I never did like Malfoy... *cough*

Last night I dreamed that I was reading book 6. It was only about the length of COS and started with Lupin coming to take Harry away from Privet Drive, but after that it became quite dull and didn't follow up anything from the previous books. I think I had a similar dream about OOTP before it came out.

I fell asleep after a late night study session for a drafting test that I was extremely worried about and therefore ended up having a very weird dream in which Sirius tried to teach me drafting... why Sirius was the one teaching me I still can't explain but it amused my friends to no end!

As much as I'm obsessed wit Harry Potter, I've only ever had one Harry Potter dream. I was in my Freshman English class from last year (in my dream, I wasn't sleeping in class) and the teacher's Harry Potter posters came to life. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Draco, Dumbledore, Hagird, Snape, Baby Norbert, Fang,Crabbe, Goyle, Professor Flitwick and I were then running down the hall of the school. Suddenly we were all running though the Forbidden forest looking for the train station that someone had lost (I don't know either) and then the forest disappeared and I was in my bathroom all alone and scared. Then I woke up.

I rarely ever have any dreams so this one really cought be by surprise. It was last month after a late night reading session of the Love thread. The debate at the time was going heavy with Plato philosophy.

Hermione, Myself and Ron were standing at a counter in some shop. Harry was off alone looking at something across the shop in the corner. A waiter wearing a 50's diner outfit gave us 4 cokes. two were in large cups and 2 in small cups. Hermione and myself grabed the small cups and Ron one of the large cups.
Hermione looked at me and made some comment on her possible love interest. Ron as usuall got jealous and started making comments about it. Hermione got angry and stormed off. Ron Then looked at me and I called him an idiot and asked him how can he not understand whats going on. When all of a sudden, a little clay figure that looked like the kid on the "Play-Dough" Logo jumped on the counter started reciting quotes from Plato.
I then followed Hermione out of the back of the shop that lead to a greenhouse that used to be near my old house. I found her near a bunch of Mums that were of an assorted color. She was facing away from me so I called her name. At which time she turned around crying. I went to give her a hug to comfort her and then woke up.

It was a weird dream. Usually my dreams are quite normal and most tend to be a pointless conversation with friends that usually happens about a month later.

I had a weird dream that I was on the run with some people for a reason unknown to me. We were out side one of our movie theaters and Snape and James were there. They weren't fighting or anything, but virtually ignored each other. Everyone was in there teens, and I think Snape was my boyfriend. :scared: All of my dreams are insane.

My dreams constantly switch around but I did have a quidditch dream, and I fell off my broom and I got that feeling that is often described as losing your stomach. (like when you go over a hill on a big roller coaster!) It woke me up! :upset:

My dreams usually follow whatever I'm deeply involved in. Five years ago it was Myst. I've had at least two about Harry Potter--I'm always Harry, trying to save everyone from Voldemort. I don't remember much else.

I had my first HP dream (I think) back in August, soon after starting to post here in the Forums. :p Umbridge was trying to make Snape do lines on a huge blackboard, in front of the entire school. And he got into such a towering rage... In the end he revealed to be a vampire in full bat-like splendour, scaring the **** out of her and chasing her through the castle. :D

I do NOT support the vampire theory, mind you - won't repeat the arguments against it here, and by now even JKR seems to have denied it. I prefer to think that he is clad in black, sweeping about and emerging out of the shadows just because he likes to frighten students. But it was quite a sight nonetheless... RUN UMBRIDGE RUN!!! :D

Then there weren't any HP dreams for quite a long time, until a couple of days ago. I dreamt about Snape teaching History of Art in a university auditorium (History of Art?!), and Voldemort planning attacks on both muggle and wizarding European institutions in Brussels. :scared:

That happens to me, but I'm not usually dreaming. I'll just be half-asleep and then my leg will twitch suddenly and then I feel like I'm falling.

I had a dream a few weeks ago where the OotP movie had come out (odd?) but it was like I was IN the movie as it played out. It was weird. there was a scene where I was sobbing my heart out because someone died - I don't remember who - and I went around telling all my friends how much I cried and they just looked at me like I was a freak or something. Then I remember being in a big field in the dark, and Harry and Ron were flying to Las Vegas on their brooms. I grabbed onto these plastic stars thatlooked like sparklers and flew after them.

I don't know what was going on in that dream. It was weird.

I've only had two Potter dreams and they were very brief.


The first one was where I was a student at Hogwarts and had the robes, books slept in the same dorm as Harry etc. I was a normal Hogwarts student. But the thing is that I was always jealous of Harry and me and gang of my friends were plotting on how to humiliate him because we were so sick of hearing about him. I forget how it ended but I do remember putting some curse on him or something like that.

In the second I don't remember much at all, but can remember I was riding Buckbeak for a little while.

The other day, I had a dream that I was reading the sixth Harry Potter book. It came in two parts and had a dark cover. In my dream I was reading a part where Harry's at a funeral and he is approached by a Slytherin girl. Then I put the book under my pillow, which I always do anyway, and went to sleep.

When I woke up in real life I was extremely disappointed that the book wasn't under my pillow anymore. Humbug.

I had the most bizarre Harry Potter dream the other night. I dreant that I was a quaffle and people were playing Quidditch with me in the carpark of my local supermarket.

Then I woke up and laughed my head off! (not literally. Don't worry, it's still firmly attached to my neck)

i once dreamt that draco malfoy was washing this big red sports car with lots of soapy bubbles and i just stood there and watched, he also had no shirt on...:lol: it was my idea of Draco though- not Tom Felton ;)

Another one was where Voldemort was chasing me and my brother through our town and my bro was like 'go on without me' and i just shrugged and went 'ok' and ran, and so voldemort killed my brother but i got away...amusing when you think about it now but scary at the time...

Actually a couple of nights ago i dreamt about Syl who is a character in Slythy's 'The Potion Master's Daughter' (go read it, it's brill) and basically he taught maths at my school and everyone fancied him lol...i don't remember all the details tho...

okay i just remembered this one because i was flicking through my diary and found that i had written it down lol, okay i had this dream on the *consults diary* 27.11.02...


I came home from school one day and was greeted with a message on my answer phone saying that the Harry Potter production team had received my letter and wanted me to audition for the part of Cho Chang. I was over the moon! It was going to be on a Thursday so I was going to need to take a day off school but my mum said that it was o.k. However on the day I received a letter saying that there had been a mistake and they didn’t want me to audition after all. I was devastated ‘That is so unfair’ I said ‘It like someone giving you sixty pounds then taking it away again!’ (Funny way of expressing it I know but that’s what I said) However my rebellious side must have taken hold of the situation because, not wanting to miss out, I decided to sneak on the train anyway. So I went to the station and sneaked passed the ticket booths (which might I add reminded me very strongly of the tills at Sainsburys) and picked up a couple of tickets. I looked at the train about to leave (which I remember was very crowded) Then I looked at the tickets in my hand then…
My dream ended.

Bit of an abrupt ending wasn’t it? Which was really annoying because I really wanted to find out what happened next! The thing is I remembered it so clearly I even remember what the tickets looked like and everything (they were orange :D)

The only Harry Potter dream I ever remember having was a few weeks ago. I was with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and we were running from Voldemort (what a surprise!). Anyway, somehow we ended up in the yard furniture section of Wal-mart or K-mart or something like that, and we were having to duck around plastic chairs and tables, which was hard because it was dark out. Then, at this one table, Ron's parents and some other random adults were sitting there having a grand old time, and asked if we wanted some cookies, and we were like, "Are you crazy! Voldemort's back there!" So we went on running, and ended up hiding in an empty swimming pool, and just as Harry was about to climb the ladder to see where Voldemort was, I woke up. My dreams are always so freaky. All I wanted was one cool Harry Potter dream and this is what I got! Grr!

I had a dream about a month ago. I dreamt that I was in the Great Hall with the trio (Harry, Ron and Hermione with Dan, Rupert and Emma faces) and the trio were their 11-year-old (first year) selves and in their Hogwarts robes. Harry looked so adorable and kept on smiling and chatting away and we were just sitting on the Great Hall benches talking (I forgot what we were talking about). Then suddenly I was beside the Hogwarts lake and I was watching Buckbeak walking around on the other end of the lake. Then Buckbeak suddenly took off and flew straight towards me, and I was so scared and I was panicking about how was I going to get away before Buckbeak reached me and...... I woke up. :scared: I was still scared when I woke up but now that I think of it, I would like Buckbeak to come closer to me as I think he wouldn't attack me, just take me for a ride on his back or something. :p

I've had a Harry Potter dream once, but only because I wasn't well and all I could do was lay in bed and read OotP all day.

Anyway, I was also doing alot of crosswords that day, so I had a dream that Harry Ron and Hermione all were standing on this great big crossword puzzle, and as I filled out which words went in the spaces, they would have to run over to that letter and stand on it. Weird. Must stop reading Harry Potter books so much.

I had a dream last night. I was 15 again and Hermione was my best friend. I was at her house and she got into some trouble when she dumped water on some guy who was sleeping. He wouldn't let her leave, so she hopped over the back yard fence. I hopped over as well and the guy saw us and started yelling. So we began running in the other direction through people's back yards. Then we heard someone calling for us and we turned to see Neville. He came up and gave us each a hug, glad that we were alright, then said Harry and Ron were waiting for us, so we went on to find them. Then I woke up. :p

I had a really wierd one a few weeks back.

I was going into take a test at school only the classroom was my sister's bedroom. I get in there and the teacher is Umbridge and we are going to have the final for the class. For the final we had to crochet a picture of blue flowers. Then a group of us got hungry so we were going out to get some lunch. We ate under a bridge and then Umbridge comes and yells at me for eating. No one else just me. We then go back to class and finish the final.

And that's all that I remember.

LMAO, I had a strange Harry Potter dream the other night...

I dreamt they decided to do the test screening of PoA at my school... but it kept on switching between the film and live action acting- nobody seemed to mind, though :lol: Occasionally, people in the audience actually ended up it the film... it was very strange. Snape had these huge robes with fur trimmings, wild curly hair and a goatee (think George Sheriff of Nottingham for Prince of Thieves :lol: ) and Trelawney had this HUGE shock of hair... tres amusing. There was one very bizarre scene where I was using a laptop in Snape's class, and he glared at me. :shrug: Neville's cauldron blew up in his face, and his lovely curly hair just went zoosh, flat again :lol: And then, at the end, the guy who was running it asked who wanted to meet JKR, and me and Remmy started jumping on the tables screaming, 'ME!!! ME!!! PICK MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!'

Then I woke up....

I often dream that I'm somebody other than who I am. They're usually my sleeping mind's own inventions, but I have dreamt that I was Sirius Black and just recently I dreamt that I was Professor Lupin. I can't remember much about it except a dream-instilled knowledge that the full moon was coming and a lot of anxiety.

I haven't had any Harry Potter dreams lately, but when I first rreading the books (years ago) I kept having all these wierd dreams about Voldemort coming back to power. And was trying to warn everyone, but everyone was so happy he was gone they didn't listen.
There was more to it than that. . . I can't remember anymore though.

This morning, I had this strange dream. I was at a school that was my own school but still was too alike Hogwarts. And worst of all, I sat next to Harry in a class (and kissed him on his cheek) and Snape was the teacher (and I complained about him). And to add to the weirdness, it was rather the actors looking like they do in the movies than the book characters...

Oh, yes *lol* I have seen many Harry Potter dreams after I started reading those fantastics books but unfortunately I don't remember them anymore. I only remember something, that I flew on the air - not on the broomstick I think, but I just flew. And normally there were some adventure and I solved it with Harry and Ron. So maybe I was like Hermione? *lol*

Yesterday oi had a dream that i was at school (my school) with Emma Watson and that i found a wand that would open doors, and i was doing that and then i went out of my school, down the slope, but it was icy, so i was casting "imobulous" on myself, to stop myself from slipping. Then when i got down, i saw dumbledore say that it was too dangerous to play (quidditch) and i forgot my books, so i went back up the slope and ron was following me, but he got caught, so i slithered up the slope. And that was my basic dream.

The more recent which were last night and Saturday night were more just thinking about HP related things. Like I was about to borrow book six from my friend or waiting for my sister to hurry up and get into the theatre because the trailers were starting.lol

The other three are older, the first was in september the other around november and the third was last week, the second to last day of school.lol All three of thosehad something to do with Voldemort. The first was I was the heir of Harry Potter (lol) and Voldemort came after me and we dueled right in the middle of my journalism classroom-Sirius was still alive which was nice.
The second I don't remember exactly WHAT happened, only the Voldemort was in it and that when I woke up my lightning bolt scar I have on my wrist was bleeding (note I don't know how i got that scar). My friends and I think I must have scratched it in my sleep or something because the only other funny thing that has ever happened with it was the spider bite right on top of it. my skin went red on the bite and it stood out totally white. lol it looked freaky.

The third and Latest "real" dream I had was the scariest thing in my life. As I've said before, I don't scare easily (hardly at all.lol) but this was pretty much labled as a traumatic experience.lol

So I'm a Hogwarts student and I know Harry pretty well. Voldemort captures me and intends to have a Dementor take my soul, then transfer his into my body so he can get to Harry and Dumbledore and kill them without anyone knowing until it was too late.
Torture me I won't care. Kill me I won't care. But loose a dementor on me and I will totally freak. I HATE the things. glad they're not real.lol
So this was not good. my arch enemy was going to use me to get at Harry and Dumbledore and I was facing my biggest fear.
This disgusting thing is inches from my face when I wake up with a scream.lol
My friends all want me to draw them a picture of what the dementor looked like but it was so nasty I don't think I will.lol

Okay this is so funny...it was my 1st HP dream...so funny

I was at my Aunt's house with all my girl cousins (two lived there one was from out of town) well my cousin from out of town and I are total HP freeks! and like we were watching SS and quoting it...everyone left us alone because we were annoying and went to sleep...we got to Oliver Wood saying "...and we win!" and it is so funny to us...seriously so funny so that whole night we would slip the phrase into our conversations then she got up and went to the bathroom (my younger cousin's bathroom in her bedroom) on her way out of the room she ran into a fan and woke up our cousin and she asked her what the heck she was doing and my cousin was like AND WE WIN! and she came out laughing

well that night i dreamt that we were thrown into that scene of the movie and all we did was run around saying and we win...sooooo funny...for me....then like we took the bats and were hitting all the balls repeating over and over and we win and like no pressure harry, but hahahaha sucks to be you AND WE WIN...we were like so funny in my dream

I had a Harry Potter dream last night (my first! woohoo!). I was either in a bookshop or a library and I found a copy of book 6, which hadn't been released yet. Being the upstanding young citizen I am, I snuck it home with me to read it before everyone else in the world. Only thing was. . . it was RUBBISH! The writing style had changed completely - for example, I got to chapter 4 and it was supposed to be a dream Harry had, but it was just written as random words!

The top line of the page was a list of subjects at Hogwarts: "Divination. Arithmancy. Transfiguration. Potions."
Then it said: "Sirius." (I was very annoyed, because this, Chapter 4, was the FIRST mention of Sirius in the book, and he's my favourite character! He should be mentioned in the first sentence, and every sentence thereafter!).
After that was : "Forty-two." This was particularly odd, but I have just finished reading 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy', so this number was probably floating around my brain!
And then it said "Sirius" again. (Two mentions! Yay!)

Most bewildering! At least book 6 should beat my expectations then!

I haven't had a dream with HP characters or anything like that, but I do often dream that I'm trying to get packed for a trip and I can't find my HP book.

My friend K says this means that I am stressed out and am worried I won't have time to do everything I want. Hmmm . . .

I've dreamt about Harry Potter many times, but can really only remember one. It was something like i was on a misson to retrive these weird blue pearls, and for some reason i could fly. I was wearing pink flip-flop sandels and when i was flying, all of a sudden Ron Harry and Hermione appear behind me, and my sandels fell off and started to plumet down. Ron went and got them and gave them back to me and said, "Here, i'll hold them for you, so they don't fall off again." They followed me and talked to me, and i got a larger crowd behind me, and reached my destination. I won't say anymore, because it's really weird. I woke up and i was like "What?!!?? Why was Ron Harry and Hermione in my dream!!!???? What was with the pink flip-flops????!!" Very confusing for me.

I have had many hp dreams. I have had one about all of the book and I was one character in my dream that I made up on 1 of my post it tells you about her . I was this girl named Courtney Potter. I was that character in all of my dreams. Every time I had the dream Lupin was always in there. Like the dream I had about the Prisonar of Azkaban. My dream was just like the book but Lupin and me had fallen for one another it was like he was really there. I have had dreams about all of the book and all of the movies and Lupin was always in there. I was always Courtney Potter.I swear my dreams where like real movies. But harry didn't exist instead of harry I was Courtney. My dreams had alot more action to.

I'm the fourth character making the trio a quartet and we're the new marauders. flying on brooms, using wands... one of my dreams involved snape being really bad and trying to burn down hogwarts. they're amazing dreams. i actually try to think about the plots of the books and the movies before i go to bed so I'm more likely to have them. beautiful stuff.

I had a strange dream last night. I dreamt it was Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts and for some reason, I had his invisibility cloak. I put it on and was trying not to bump into anyone because I was one of the people everyone was looking for and it would have been bad for me to have been caught, though I was nearly caught a few times. Strange how much Hogwarts looked like my old college campus. I ended up getting to a building I needed to get to and there was Snape, leading his class (which I was suppose to be in) to his office. So I took off the cloak and got into the group right behind Harry. Then I noticed a strange thing, over the summer, Harry had decided to bleach his hair blond. He looked so different. I remember touching it and asking him about it and he just muttered something. Ron was standing next to him wearing some kind of baseball cap on his head. It stood out to me that his hair was much shorter than I had seen in photos from the movie 3 premiere. Hermione looked the same as ever. Then we were in Snape's office and he began talking and that was about all the dream consisted of.

Another weird dream last night - it was a Harry Potter and Star Wars crossover type of dream. Weird. But the thing that really stood out was that I was in some kind of a building and Hogwarts professors decided to turn one of my friends into a boggart so I could practice defense against a boggart. However, when I tried to think of what would make her look funny, I kept thinking of things to make her look pretty and I would point my wand and say "Riddikulus!" but then she'd do things like sprout beautiful butterfly looking wings or something. She was much bigger than a butterfly. Well, I cast the spell twice, each time improving her beauty, but then I was suppose to cast the Riddikulus charm again with the focus of turning her back into her real self. But it backfired and she turned into this hideous looking mutant slug and was clearly having a hard time breathing and I freaked out that she was dying and I ran down the corridor looking for professors. I found Lupin and Snape I believe, and they ran back down the corridor and quickly set her back to normal. And then the two of us tried to leave the building, but these huge monsters were trying to kill us so we were trying to find a way out. :D

I dreamed a few nights ago that Dumbledore was in my school, and we had some sort of magical creatures in the cafeteria that could only be killed a certain way, and if you messed up even slightly, you could end up dead. Dumbledore ended up being the one going to get rid of them. I was standing around with a few of my friends, and we were all worried that he might not make it.

But it all turned out okay. Then the dream shifted to another place.

Once, I just finished watching a live game from the Euro 2004 (which airs here at 2:45 in the morning, mind you), and I still read a bit of Harry Potter before drifting off to sleep, so I had a strange dream that involved football and wizardry... :scared:

I was walking round Hogwarts and Harry, Ron and Hermione started asking me where I had been. We went up to the common room and did Potion's homework. After a while Hermion looked up at me smiling and them started to scream. She was saying something about my face so I got up and looked in the mirror. My eyes were slits and were now red, I had two long teeth like a Vampire and my face look disfigured. Then I turned round and Harry pointed his wand at me and sent me flying out of a window.

I just had a weird Harry Potter related dream last night. I was at the Disney Store with my grandma and my two younger cousins. WE all had aalready known that I was really dizzy and my vision had just gotten really blurry somehow. Anyway, I went to go look at the Nemo T-shirts. I didn't know it, but there was a Womping Willow by the shirts. I went back there and I got hit really hard in the head by the tree. The dream continued kind of like that all night. It was horrible!

I knew that if a read about HP dreams, I will have one the night after! Now in Italy are 7:05 am (I have a date at 9.20am today :blush: ), and I just wake up after a HP dream! I was just reading the HARRY POTTER SIX BOOK! I was at the first chapters, and I was reading about Hermione telling someone (don't remember whom, but I'm sure it was an adult) that she want to be a journalist or somethig just because Cho wanted to be it, too, and Hermione added that she want to do that job only because she want to be a better journalist than Cho, and she's sure she can do that! And the adult she was telling that just grinned.
While reading this, I was grinning, and I telled to don't-remember-whom (another adult, I'm sure) about this, and then I thought that I will write this on CoS forums for all Harry/Hermione Shippers, since I'm sure even the adult in the book was sure that Hermione wanted to be better than Cho just becase of Harry! :D
The funny thing is that I don't remember whom are the adults! (LOL :rotfl: :rotfl: )
By the way, it was a Lucid Dream, It happens to me many times, always near the morning, I could controll part of it, by repeting some scenes, etc. Too bad I had to wake up, but you know, a Date is a Date. ;)

i never ever usually dream but the other night i had a really messed up hP dream... It kinda freaked me out a little bit!

I was on my way to the cinema with some friends. We were planning on seeing a film and everything was pretty normal. When we got inside the theatre, everything was fine, but all of a sudden Harry Potter and The Halfblood Prince came on. We were in total shock. JK hadn't even released the book yet, but the film was already finished. There must have been a mistake, we didn't come to watch that film, we didn't even know it was out!

We stayed quiet because we wanted to know what happened in HBP so we carried on and watched the film. It starts of with Harry lost somewhere. He arrived at a junction of some kind with lots of different paths leading to lots of different places. There are lots of old fashioned pubs and people walking around in the usual HP style cloaks. It looked a little bit like Diagon Alley but a slightly eerie version (everything has shades of blue and its really cloudy). Anyway, Harry approaches a wizard and asks him for directions, Harry follows them. The next thing i saw is harry, standing behind Lily who is sitting at a dressing table combing her hair.

Ok... here is the crazy part. :rotfl: Lily is a metamorphmagus (sp?) and she is seriously nutty. A combination of Trelawney and Father christmas. You know, a really jolly weirdo! She is wearing green with lots of rings and necklaces and harry is just starring at her, while she sings and combs her hair. Anyway... she transforms, very slowly...into James!!! :wow: She has James' head everything else is her. The interesting thing is that she keeps her own eyes!!!! (i have no idea what that could mean) Anyway, she continues to sing and Harry is as shocked as me.

I nearly had a heart attack at this point. It wasn't very nice to watch, it was really weird. Anyway, the people at the cinema realised that it was the wrong film and at this point stopped it.

And that's all i can remember! If anyone has a screw loose in these forums, i think it might be me!!!

The wierdest one was when I was at the movies with my sister and Daniel Radcliffe and we were seening Harry Potter. well the movie started and Harry Potter was flying all over the screen. Just HP no scenery, just black and then him. And then I turned over to Dan Rad and was like "Hey, that guy kind of looks like you." and then I woke up. Another time, I had a dream that Cedric Diggory was my brother and I went to his funeral and I was crying and HP and Hermione were there but they were like laughing and I couldn't understand why. Aren't dreams wierd?????

I dreamt that I met JK Rowling. She was travelling the country and my family won tickets for her to stay at our house. I only saw her for a alittle bit, but she signed my British copy of OotP. That's basically all I can remember. I was pretty disappointed when I woke up and realized that I hadn't actually met her.
My dream is far from logical, however much I want it to be true. For one, JK wouldn't need to stay at people's houses because she has plenty of money for hotels. Also, I don't own a British copy of OotP. It didn't look like the British copy, anyway. But I could read words on the page- that's how realistic it was.

I've had lots of HP-related dreams. I had one last night, actually, haha. I dreamt that I was writing a great story about Neville Longbottom.... I think it came from the fact that I looked at the Happy Birthday Neville thing on JKR's site right before I went to bed :)

The scariest HP-related dream I ever had was that I was actually Harry and that Voldemort was trying to kill me, and I kept trying to kill him first using avada kedavra but my wand wouldn't work. And it was actually quite funny now that I think about it because it took place inside my college dormitory. But at the time it was a really scary dream :)

Me too! In fact, last night I had a dream about what happened to Sirius's motorcycle after looking at that thread. In my dream, someone asked J.K. Rowling it, and she said that in the past Sirius had driven his motorcycle over these mountains that had some sort of weird creature that burrowed in the ground. Yet when they heard the sound of his motorcycle (which she said sounded like a rocket ship taking off), they would come out of the ground and get really angry. This was dangerous because muggles aren't supposed to know about the creatures, and so he had to stop riding it there. When he gave it to Hagrid, Hagrid was told to destroy it so that it wouldn't disturb the creatures anymore.

The strangest, most bizarre thoughts emerge from my subconscious at night!

I dreamed I woke up, but it was still dark, and Voldie was standing in my bedroom, and he was looking for something in a box wich contained my new schoolbooks. He trew the books all around the room, so I said "He! What are you doing?" and he said "Silence! I'm looking for your economie book!" and I said "It's at the bottom, but what do you want it for?" and he didn't answer me but he kept trowing books untill he'd found the economie book. Then he started reading it, but he couldn't find what he was looking for,and he said "You! Were is the page about mortgages?" and I said "I have no idea" because I hadn't even opened the book yet. And then he said "I need a second mortgage on my house, or Buffy is going to eat me for lunch!" and then I was really anoyed, and I said "I don't sell mortgages, and Buffy can't eat you for lunch, haven you read OotP?" and he said "No, I haven't, what's that?", and I realised I had said something stupid, so I said "Never mind, would you get out of my bedroom now?"
but he wasn't listening, and he was going through the rest of the stuff in my bedroom, and I was about to get out of bed to trow him out, but then Snape appeared and he said "Get out of bed!" and I said, "Fine, I was going to anyway." And I sat down in front of my desk, and he said "I'm going to test you on economie, and if you fail I'll have you spend the rest of your holidays in the cupboard under the stairs wearing pink earmuffs." And I wanted to say that that was totaly unfair, because I hadn't even had a single economie class yet, and that we didn't even have a cupboard. But I didn't get the chance, becaus he had alreddy started the test, and I had no idea what the answers were so I got everything wrong, but before Snape could yell at me Voldie let out a triumphant scream, and said "I found it!". So he started to go trough the book, and I screamed "Nooo!! You can't read that! You'll win!", and he got to the page of the prophecy, and I tried to get the book from him but it didn't work. So he said "I'll take this, thank you!", and he laughed his evil laugh and he and Snape dissapeared. And then half the Harry Potter characters apeared in my bedroom, and all my friends, and my familie (don't ask me how we all fitted), and they were all really angry with me, and Ron yelled at me that Voldemort had killed Harry, and that it was all my fault. So I said I was really sorry, and then my friend Laura trew book 6 at me and said "Look! You've ruined the story!". So I opened the book, and all it said was "Voldemort killed Harry, the end. Note from JKR : Book seven is not comming out anymore, since there is no Harry Potter to write about anymore."

And then I woke up :)

One time I had a dream that Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton came to our school dance. Then Tom asked me to dance, and I was like, "ok!" Then Dan was like "It's okay, I'll dance with you." He was all cute and sweet. Then I woke up.

I had a really weird dream last night that involved the Room of Requirement...

I remember that it was me and a bunch of little kids that were running from these evil people (I don't think they were DEs though). And we ran by the Room of Requirement and I told them to wait because there was a place that was safe, I thought 'We need a place to hide, a place to be safe' (or something like that) and I taped the door with my wand (it had already appeared) and it opened up.

Inside were bunkbeds and all the little kids went to sleep, but everyone was scared because we weren't sure whether the door would keep the evil people out (they wanted to kill us for some reason). We had to wait in there for like 3 days, and then good people finally rescued us from a window. :p:huh:

That was the end of that dream, but after that my dream changed to one where I hurt my neighbor because I was flying, and I was flying because my hands were filled with helium, or something like that that floats (Yeah, that was one weird dream) :huh:

It's weird that I should even notice this thread, during the summer I had a dream that I woke up on a stone floor at the foot of the trophy case in Hogwarts. This golden sunlight was pouring in from a window somewhere and there was a soft ticking noise, like a clock. It was summer, so no one was there. I went to the room of Requiment where I found the miror of Erised and I wanted to look into it, but I don't remember getting close enough to see anything; then I thought that maybe someone would be at the Burrow (it being summer ) and wouldn't you know suddenly there was a roaring fire complete with floo powder. So I went, and who do I stumble upon? Ginny. Only she was all grown up, and I remembered. The Potter books take place from 1991-1998, so naturally it being 2004, Ginny would be around 23. I told her who I was, we sat down at a long well worn table and had some tea. I asked about the others and well, apparently Ron and Hermione gotten married and had 12 children, and weren't poor, and Harry...... was dead. He and Ginny had hit it off pretty well, but in the end of the war had made a sacrafice to ensure Voldy would go for sure(I don't know how but thats just what she said so I didn't question). All the time she is talking the sun is setting and casting strangely benign and .....soft....?.......shadows. I don't know, it was a dream. Hmm...why didn't I bother to play Quidditch at all?..... really that would have been more logical for me. Anyhoo, hope you enjoyed!

Then I had a dream that I was an Animagus and I could turn into a Lynx (they are my favourite animal.) You guys are having a bad influence on me. I had never had an HP dream until last night. I think coupled with reading this thread and watching a show about 9/11 caused me to have this dream. It was short.

I was in Hogwarts, and the building was bombed. I tried to rescue the students, but had a lot of trouble. The debris was falling all over the place. I saw a flax haired boy and pulled him out from under the rubble. It was Draco. He looked scared and clinged on to me. We limped out of the building as it fell around us. When we got out to near the lake he hugged me and thanked me for saving his life, he was crying...

Now you know this was a dream...Draco thanking someone. Har!

Once I dreamed that I was flying around on a broom (a Firebolt to be more exact ) and I was being followed by someone. Then I realised it wasn't someone it was more like something because it was a dragon! Apparently she was mad at me for stealing her egg but I didn't know I had it and then I looked down and saw a baby dragon in my arms. I started to fly faster and faster until I realised that I wasn't on a broom anymore, I was acctualy riding the the baby dragon. After that the mom finaly caught up with us and I had to give her the baby. And then I woke up.

Harry Potter dreams are the coolest! :cool:

A few weeks ago, I dreamt that I was in the hallway at school. Some kid came up to me and said, "You have to go to the middle school, quick. Your godfather is dying." (The middle school in our community is right next door to the high school.)

So I ran over to the middle school. In a classroom right off the lobby, I saw Sirius laying on a table with Dumbledore standing next to him. I ran in but it was too late. Sirius was dead.

Then I turned around and JK Rowling came into the lobby and handed me a copy of Book 6. I was so excited! I sat down and started to read.

I was so furious when I woke up. :sigh:

I was living in my old house, which is across the street from a graveyard.

There was some sort of prophecy on for that night, so I got my blankets and camped out under the picture window downstairs. At midnight, the sun came out (sort of a reverse eclipse) and shone down on a particular gravestone before disappearing again.

Just as I was about to go out and investigate, Harry Potter came running down the stairs. :lol: He had seen it too, but the dork went to the wrong gravestone. I showed him the right one, and he looked at it and said something like, "Yeah, but there's no key in that one." So, I opened the gravestone up, and there was a key hidden inside.

Fortunately, Harry knew what to do with the key (I didn't even know there was supposed to be one!) so he wasn't totally useless. He opened another gravestone with it, and there were all sorts of wierd prizes inside...pocket knives and strange metal hair combs and stuff...

Harry loaded up on stuff and told me to take what I wanted...I remember thinking we ought to leave some stuff for anyone else who solved the prophecy. :p

I don't remember the whole entire thing so I'll just say what I remember.

Harry was in a car with some people and in the middle of the road they saw paper towel roll holder. Harry jupms out of the car and grabs it because it belonged to Petunia who was looking all over for it. Harry brought it back to her and she started yelling at him because she thought that he took it. She then called the cops on him and Umbridge showed up. Harry ran for it and Umbridge started to chase him.
When she finally caught up with him later that night she killed him, but the thing is that in order for Harry to die he had to relive the time from when Umbridge started to chase him untill he was killed. He remembered everything that was happening but no one else did. On the second time he decided to write to Sirius about what was happening and that he was going to die, but there was something weired that I don't remember too much about Sirius dying too. And then I woke up.

I was in my room and i was like a witch, Dumbledore and somebody else were like guiding this guy up my street, they weren't really guiding him they were like bringing him, like, I dont know, and I was in my room trying to shoot the guy with the stupefy thing, cuz he was like bad, so then I finally got him and I ran out of my room and down to my basement, there, I got somebody in my bathroom down there with the stupefy, and then my neighbor was sitting in a chair down there crying, and was like trying to like tell me something and I was like "yeah, ok, well I have to go because somebody is like after me," and then she was like crying and like "NUH UH!!" cuz she wanted me to stay down there and like listen to her problems, and then I ran up to me door, my house is a split entry so like ya no the door has it's on like landing i guess, and the the steps are, well, anyway, I was standing there, there was this guy like sitting in a chair and we were trying to stun eachother, ad we just kept going on and on and on, and i ducked away from his by the wall thing, well you would have to know what my house is like to understand half of this, and then I finally did the disarming spell thing and then he started to say "ya know, if you want to.." and then I stunned him. He was about to say like " if you want to do the same spell at the same time..." and i knew cuz it was like my dream and you know haw dreams are, like sometimes you can controll things, and nevermind, but thats like the end....

Well this isn't really an HP dream but it involved riding a broom. I was on a barge out at sea that had fireworks in it and I took off and the scenery changed a golf course and I saw Tim a friend of mine from church and he thought it was really cool I could fly and then people were coming so i flew really close to the ground and they didn't notice I was flying. I think it also involved chasing rabbits but it was so long ago I can't quite remember...

Dream 1: I had this bizarre dream where I dreamt I was in a big house somewhere in the country(probably in England even though I live in the US), and I was with my two best friends and for some odd Reason, Rupert Grint(Ron, ew!). We were running from an evil, stereotypical witch and when we got all the way up to the top floor of the house, we realized we were trapped, so Rupert jumped out the window(suicidally) and killed himself and then the dream ended. I think the main point of the dream was that Rupert died. Well, I hope it was...

Dream 2: I dreamt I was in a really cool club with a bunch of celebrities and my date was Daniel Radcliffe. So when he went to give me a hug and took off his jacket, I saw his HUGE muscles. Then I fainted and woke up in real life.

Dream 3: I was on a bridge over the highway of some place with Daniel radcliffe. We were dressed like spies and we had to get off the bridge before it collapsed into an ocean. We were to jump all the way across thw bridge an onto a nearby highway. I fell and I was holding on to the edge of the bridge and Daniel helped me up, and then the two of us jumped across. But I woke up before I found out whether or not we lived.

Dream 4: I was in Daniel radcliffe's house--for some strange reason--and he was having a party upstairs in his room. it ended when I actually got there.

Dream 5: I had a dream in which I was playing spin the bottle with my two friends and Dan, Rupert, and Tom. I got the chance to kiss Dan, my friend kissed Rupert in anger, and my other friend kissed Tom in joy.


Those are the only dreams I can remember.

I had a dream last night that I saw them filming the Yule Ball scene (well sorta) in GoF.

But Ron (Rupert) and Harry (Dan) were in tuxedos. Hermione (Emma) had on a lovely knee length black be-jeweled dress. There were other students there. It looked like they were in a back alley somewhere. It looked like they stumbled out of the dance drunk.

Hermione and Ron were jokingly pushing each other around then they stumble to the ground on top of each other. They look into each other's eyes and start kissing.

Then the director yells "Cut!". Changes the camera angles and then have Ron and Hermione perform the kissing scene again several more times with close ups.

I had one very recently. In fact, I may have mentioned it here already, possibly on this very thread. It involved me staking out my local Barnes and Noble on HBP release day. When I got there, I was basically in the same position as Uncle Vernon in the beginning of SS. Wizards were everywhere in and around the store's general area, owls were flying around, and the book was in my hands. Just before I began to read, I smacked my head on my bedpost and woke up.

Well, it had HP characters, anyway...

Betty (from Archie comics) is away at college when some guy turns up and asks her if she got the hat he left for her. She eventually finds this maroon ski mask, and it has a name embrouidered in it, but not her own. (My name, actually...) The guy tells her that that's her real name, and she gradually realizes that she remembers nothing before the age of 5 or 6, and has had her brain wiped, and she's been planted in her current life. She also discovers she has the power to give people electric shocks. :eyebrows:

She decides to try to escape to her 'real' life, but Darth Vader and Kingsley Shacklebolt/Mace Windu (I still swear they're the same guy) and Mulder are all determined to get her to the Professor (Gilligan's Island) to have her brain re-wiped.

She manages to escape with the help of her Archie-comics friends, Veronica and Ethel, and some beefy blonde Scandinavian woman who claims to be the REAL Betty. Snape, in a taxi-driver's uniform, drives the getaway car (with Pikachu or Mogeta or something as his sidekick) and gets all teary-eyed at the touching farewell.

Weird, eh? And I don;t watch much TV, so don't blame it on OD-ing...

The first one was how I went to Hogwarts and became best friends with Hermione and then when the were filming one of the movies, I became friends with Emma.

The second one I had last night. I don't remember all of it, I just remember waking up and going: "No, Hermione is dead!"

So, I'm guessing she died in the dream, but I can't remember how...

My dream was a cross between HP and Charmed, and is reaccurring, so I remember more about it everytime I dream it. I was a charmed one, and Harry's God mom who Dumbledore sent away right before James and Lilly were killed. I was supposed to marry Sirius, we had been dating since he was a 5th year and I was a 4th year, and Snape had a huge crush on me and kept trying to break us up. After LV came back to his own body and full power, Dumbledore tracked me down, because he didn't know where I had gone, and came to me for my help. He asked me to join the order. I went to Gimmauld place with him and my sisters told me to come get them if we needed them, and they would call for me if they needed me. In the magical world, being w/o my sisters for some reason I had all 3 of our powers at the same time. I had gone to Hogwarts, but I also had the powers of the charmed ones, I could do controlled magic w/o a wand. I didn't receive those powers until I united w/ my sisters. I reunited with Sirius, met Harry and gave him 14 years of b-day and Christmas gifts that I had saved. I sent them to the Dursley's but they all got sent back to me. I didn't get custody of Harry when his parents died because of the blood protection thing, plus Dumbledore knew that I had a new destiny waiting for me and after Lilly and James died, no one knew where to find me. I was instructed to tell no one for my own safety. I stayed with Sirius while the kids were at school only having to leave when my sisters called. I would go to Hogwarts almost everyday to check up on Harry and the gang. When Christmas came along Sirius had asked me to Marry him and I found out that we were going to have a baby. Snape continued to try to sway me away from Sirius. I was helping my sisters when Harry had gone to the MoM to try to save Sirius. When I got back Sirius was gone, Harry was lost inside himself and grief stricken, and I was going to have a baby who's father was dead. Or was I. I wake up with stomach pain everytime I have this dream. It is so weird. I never find out if I miscarry the baby or if I have the baby, maybe someday I will finnish the dream.

I remember once I had a dream about Snape driving a muggle car with Lupin, Harry and Sirius as passengers (Don't ask why they were driving a muggle car I have no clue) and Snape was blasting out songs that were designed to annoy the passengers. He played "Bad Moon Rising" which was in "An American Werewolf in London" for Lupins benefit, poison by Alice Cooper (and was singing along in an obnoxious tone) Master of Puppets by Metallica which reminds me of a description of someone being put under an imperius curse and various other songs...

O. M. G.!!! I had a verifiable nightmare just last night!!!!!

Ok, here goes....

I was waking up on a Sunday morning to go to church. While I was getting dressed, I was watching the news. (Which I never do in real life...) On the news was a special report. It was on all the networks. They were screaming that J.K. ROWLING DIED FROM COMPLICATIONS IN CHILDBIRTH!!!!!

For some reason, I wasn't DISTRAUGHT just yet. (I was denying it.) I finished getting dressed and went on to church. When I got to church, this Harry Potter fan club that was passing through town stopped at MY church to listen in on the service. (Really wierd....:{...) They were visibly shaken. However, everybody thought they were just snooty and high on witchcraft and stuff like that. (They were in a big van that stated their support of Harry Potter.)

When the service was over, I snuck over to their van and heard them cursing and crying. They spotted me after a while and started yelling at me. That was when I starting sobbing. I explained that I was a very huge Harry Potter fan and would miss JK very much. I had only been denying JK's death because I was thinking, "She still has to finish the sixth book!"

I was cursing and crying along with them. We were hugging and consoling each other. And everybody walked by thinking that I was now high on drugs and witchcraft and whatnot.

The dream ends there....

It was so real that I still believed she was dead when I woke up. Then, I wondered, "Where would a Harry Potter fan club be going that they had to pass through southeastern Kansas." (Which is in the middle of the U. S. A. for the non-American members...)

I had a few dreams awhile ago...the one I can remember best wasn't totally Harry Potter related...I think it started with me and a few LOTR characters in a field or something, and either Gandalf or I started riding on Shadowfax...the part I remember the most was when me and two other LOTR characters were learning to fly on broomsticks, and we flew over the lake that leads to Hogwarts. It was really cool. That dream eventually ended up with me and my friend at a dinner party, afraid of a butler that we thought was a mass murderer... :scared:

Ok, we're never ever going to mention JK dying ever again. Not because she hasn't finished the series, but think of all the lives that would be ruined. All of her charity work would be finished, and not to mention what would happen to her poor children.

As far as the dreams go, I usually dream that I am a member of a quartet rather than the trio. There's the original three and then there is myself, and for some reason they call me by my moniker, IIcon. We all know the personalities of the orignals, humor, brains, and confused. I am the sporadic way too happy, brilliant one. We are all in the same house but things are strange. For some reason Hagrid dislikes me and Snape does like me. When Snape belittles us I toss back a catty retort and he chuckles,( can emotional vampires chuckle?) and leaves us alone. Often times we are out making an annex to the map by exploring the forrest. So far the only thing we've found is the nesting area of the centaurs... it was fun until they chased us. I woke up out of breath and that ache you get in your side from running too hard too fast. Anywho, it's like my life at Hogwarts continues every night. I always remember them, moment by moment, and it's soooo weird. It's awesome that my imagination can grasp the world JK created for us to play in, but eek, nightly? Then on top of that, when I fall asleep, i am waking up in the dreams. Anyway, it's 2 am here, time for my Hogwarts escapades!

I had a dream that involved HP last night, that made me miss my paper round and nearly be late for school. I was on the bus to school, reading the next book. On retrospect, it wasn't very good, ("And Harry got back to school, and they went to the feast, where the hat sang a song and everyone loved it...", a passage from the chapter called "I I") but at the time i was thoroughly enjoying the read. I was nearing my school bus stop, and thought I'd read a little bit more of it before putting it away in my bag.

Now the bus i take to my school runs from a coast town called Blyth, to a city called Newcastle, with my shcool in a town called cramlington in between. Somehow I got so engrossed in the book that when i finally looked up, I was in Newcastle(but not at the final stop just yet). So i decided to get off, run over to the other side of the road, and get a bus back to cramlington.

I actually ended up walking through a shopping centre in Newcastle. Really confused, I suddenly spotted one of my friends from my performing arts class. I was wondering why they were wandering around a shopping centre and not in school (although i didn't really have a good excuse :p), when i spotted my PA teacher! He wandered over and said he was really glad that i had shown up for our field study, looking at all the different performing arts in Newcastle. I remembered all about this trip at last (in fact, i was almost convinced that there was going to be a trip to newcastle when i woke up!) and so we set off toward a small window, on the other side of which was a violin player. I couldn't hear anything over the crowd in the shopping centre however so was really bored. And that's when i woke up really late, and rushed out the door.

The other night, I had a dream that I was Neville, and Harry had been kidnapped by Voldemort. I had this vision in which I saw where Harry was being held, and I ran to tell Dumbledore. Dumbledore was sleeping, so I had to wake him up. When I described the location to him, he said that he knew where it was, it was in London, and he would take some Order members to go rescue Harry. I asked if I should come, and he said no -- I should at all costs not let Voldemort ever catch me and Harry together in the same place, because then he could wipe out both halves of the prophecy at once.

Well, I can't believe I'm making two consecutive posts to this thread, but I had another Harry Potter dream last night. (Probably means I've been spending too much time on this website!)

In my dream I was with Bilbo and the Dwarves on their quest in The Hobbit. The reason this is a Harry Potter dream is that Hermione was with us, too. For some reason, we had to hide in a hospital, and then we got found, and we were really nervous, but it worked out because Hermione had filled out some paperwork to make it look like we were all perfectly ordinary patients who belonged there.

Yeah, usually if I'm reading before I go to bed I'll have some HP-related dreams. Okay well I can remember one of them so I'll tell you about it:

In the dream, I was Cho Chang. I was in the prefects' bathtub (the one Harry goes to in GoF) just relaxing, and I was in a bathing suit. Then all of a sudden, my cellphone rang. (Hmm, who knew they could work at Hogwarts? Hehe) So I answered it and it was Oliver Wood <3 telling me to hurry up and come to the common room. (Even though we aren't in the same house?) So anyway, I went and met him in the common room and he told me that Hagrid died, and I was reallly upset and starting crying. It was quite Cho-like, haha, very emotional. So then we went down to Hagrid's hut for the funeral but Cedric told me he was just kidding about it. I was so mad at him for lying so I performed the body-bind curse on him and pulled down his pants, leaving him in front of school in his boxers, unable to move...a little harsh but oh well. I can't really remember what happened next but I ended up in my dormitory, where I found a wrapped gift on my bed. It was a niffler wrapped up in wrapping paper! It was from Cedric as an apology for lying to me before. I started crying again (haha) and then went to take the curse off him. That's about all I can remember (oh yeah, and I don't know how the niffler got in my room? Hmm..)

Well it was a weird dream but I love Oliver Wood so that's probably why I dreamed about him. Alot of things didn't really make sense, but the Cho crying thing was right on the nose. Haha, sorry if I bored you to death with that!

Last night, I had a dream I was playing basketball with Larry David in his garage with the actress who played Aunt Marge in PoA. Neither Larry nor the actress were concentrating on the game because they were negotiating the actress being at a signing of HBP in L.A.

The other night I had a terrible nightmare about the dementors.
It's odd, but they were...behind the door of my bedroom!
I was hearing the terrible rattling noise they make as they suck the happiness out of the air, the noise they make as they fly, it gave me the impression they were flying really fast through the corridor.
I got near the door and someone started to knock hysterically.
It was Sirius'voice, well Gary Oldman's.
He was screaming really desperately: please let me in! they'll kill me! let me in!
And I was trying to explain to him that I am no wizard and therefore can't conjure a Patronus, so if I would have opened the door to let him in, the dementors would have attacked and killed both of us.
Unfortunately I was so upset that I really wasn't able to explain it plainly to Sirius, so suddenly I heard a sickening rattling noise, sirius screaming madly, and then I immediately woke up.

I just had a dream last night...It was in the evening, and I remember I heard a noise behind some very tall bushes...I was really scared, because I thought it was Voldemort. I didn't hear anything for awhile, so I went around to check it out, and it was Voldemort, but he was on a black horse. There was also a girl on the horse, and I think he had kidnapped her. Voldemort's face was hidden under a hood. The weird part was, when he pulled down his hood and you could see his face, I was petrified of it. It looked no different than it did in the movie, but I just couldn't stand looking at his face. I kept on looking away, but whenever I looked back at it I was filled with terror and just wanted to get as far away from him as I could. It was really weird, because his face never bothered me in the movie, but when I saw it in my dream it just scared me out of my wits. He just laughed when he saw how scared I was of him. There was a lot more to the dream, because I remember Lupin being in it, but I forget the rest.

I often have Harry Potter dreams- one I remember is when I was in my bedroom sat on my bed and Voldemort came to get me. Another was when I was with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville and Luna and we were all in a big old house and we went to try and kill Voldemort. Draco was there and he was on the side of Voldemort. Nobody from my family kept it abnormal in the dream, and I did nothing exciting. At least I can't remember. I had a HP dream last night. Before I went to sleep, I had been re-reading GoF, and I'd got to the point where Harry was in the graveyard. Anyway, in my dream, I was kind of a mix between myself and Harry. Me, Sirius, and some other guy had been captured by Voldemort, and he was putting us in this weird see-through human-sized box and torturing us (or at least he tortured Sirius; he didn't get round to me.) I vividly remember Voldy saying to Sirius, "And this is what it would feel like to have all your arms and legs broken." Weird.

I had a dream where I was in this one mall... Emma Watson was there picking out some clothes to try on. She had one bodyguard standing a couple yards away from her. I said I wanted to talk to her, and the bodyguard wouldn't let me. Emma said it was all right though! hehe... Sorry to Double Post, but I want to revive this thread with a dream I had a couple days ago.

Okay, my dream was a really weird view on the 4th movie. I was Harry Potter. The first thing I remember is seeing Beauxbatons and Durmstrang arriving. But everyone was arriving on horses! Yeah... and then, Cedric and I were going down to the lake to go to the first Task (that is right... the lake!) and we were racing down there on horses. Then it was me, Hermione and Ron doing the first task. It was like a relay. And we had to swim back and forth bringing stuff to a thing in the middle of the lake. The dream ended there.

I dunno where the horses came from. I wasn't even thinking about horses...

Well first of all...I have a recurring dream of going to JKR's house to look for her notes on books 6 and 7, and being thrown out by the butler before I find anything. Recently, I had a slightly different version of this one--I won a trip to England to meet either the Queen or JKR, so of course I chose JKR, and we're driving all over in a limo, and she's not telling me anything, so finally I say, "WHAT ABOUT HARRY!?" She looks at me quite calmly and says, "What about Harry?" I say, "Aren't you going to tell me ANYTHING!?" And she says, "No. I'm not." So I say, "I have this recurring dream about being thrown out of your house by the butler. Do you have a butler?"

She did have a butler. The chauffeur was the butler. And he threw me out of the limo.

These dreams are pretty comical, but I often have very dramatic Harry dreams. One of my favorites was one night I dreamed I was Lily. This is odd already, considering she's not one of the major characters...just seems like a strange person to become in dreamland, ya know? But what was perhaps even stranger than that is that this whole dream was something that could have actually taken place before the books were written. It fits into the storyline. Now get this....

I was at a party...it was outdoors, and there were lots of people, and several really long tables with white tablecloths on them, lined up next to each other. I was holding baby Harry in my arms, James was at my side, and we were talking to Dumbledore. The atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and happy. Dumbledore patted Harry's head and smiled at us, saying, "He's beautiful; and he has your eyes." (Okay, so that line's pretty funny too, all things considered. But wait 'til you hear the rest of this.) I don't know what it's like to be a mother, but in this dream...it just felt so incredibly real. I can still feel Harry in my arms, and I can remember what it was like to be so happy there with James.... And also while standing there, I was thinking that Dumbledore was going to end up making a wonderful grandfather-figure for Harry...but I had no clue at that moment that Harry would soon be parentless.

But then after a short blackout, the situation changed, and I was having what I suppose was a sort of nervous breakdown. I had suddenly had this women's or mother's intuition or something, and I just knew that something was going to happen to James and me. So I was freaking out and crying, and I didn't know where James was, so I ran to Sirius, and I was just sobbing and asking him to please watch out for Harry if something did happen to us, and he was really solemn about it, telling me to calm down, and that everyone was frightened--we were in the middle of a war--but that we were going to be okay...and I just knew he was wrong....

Afterward I woke up wanting to cry. And now as a result of this dream, I just feel this really deep connection to Lily Potter.

I had a strange HP dream a couple weeks ago. I even wrote it down to make it part of my HP fanfic. ^.^

I can't really remember it but there was Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Luna at the Yule Ball. Ron and Luna were together and Hermione and Harry were there as a couple. Harry spots me sitting in the corner table with Draco and gets kind of upset.

Then the music starts and a little cupid flys by and shots his arrow at Prof. Snape. He is charmed and grabs Prof. Flitwick and starts to waltz. Hahaha. It was so funny. Dumbledore in the background was laughing!!!

I had this really upsetting and rather horific dream about harry potter the other night. I dreamt that I was Harry, and it was in book seven, and there was a big fight and we (by we I mean, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Luna and Fred and George) were kidnapped or something by Voldemort and he was torturing us, I mean really torturing us. At the start we were all tied up, but then he elevated Ginny in the air and put the Cruciatus Curse on her, and I (being Harry) felt my heart break, it was horrible, I thought it was going to burst out of my chest I couldnt stand it, and I must of cried out or something, I dont really remember very clearly, but V. cackled and he elevated me, and did, well, horrible things, I mean so horrible, I'm not goin to repeat them, and I remember feeling that all was lost, that I Harry Potter had failed, and that everyone was goin to die, and it would be all my fault because I had failed. But then I did something, or something happened, I'm not sure, but the pain stopped, but then I woke up and I couldnt remember anything else. It was really graphic and vivid, it was so real, all that pain, I woke up with tears rolling down my face, I dont think I'll ever forget it, I just hope what I dreamt doesnt happen in the books!

I had the most vivid dream last night that the 6th book came out. First there was all this info, and I was reading the soon to be back cover (or slip cover, like what came out before ootp) and it gave all of these hints and in my dream I ordered the book online and it came in only an hour. I read through it and my friend was reading it faster and in the book Harry and Hermione got together (I'm not kidding) and Ron got angry and then I was HArry for a little while playing quidditch, and then the dream turned into other random things. When I woke up though I actually thought the 6th book had come out. It was very dissapointing to remember that it hadn't.

I don't remember all the details, but I do remember that it was decided that it would be only fair if Harry took turns flying seeker for the different house teams. He was about to take off to play Slytherin seeker, when he was disqualified from Quidditch for some reason. Draco, sitting in the stands, had a screaming tantrum about how everybody is out to get Slytherin, and having Harry taken off ther team was just more Gryffindor cheating. Madam Hooch gave him a dirty look and said 'Gryffindors NEVER cheat.'

Anyhow, back to My dreams, well, the usual, whupp some Slytherin backside at Quidditch, send Malfoy flying with a mixture of jokes, muggle fighting and wizardry, beat Voldemort so bad that it looks like he won't bother anyone again...

Hang on, that isn't right, it's not that easy... One time I dreamed that Voldemort possesed Malfoy and Harry saved him, (Harry being good and all, sorta Snape/Jamesish,) and then Malfoy and Harry and the others team up to try and beat Him, and Voldemort's killed everyone, (Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, George, etc,) except Harry and Draco, and the key part is that Lucius is there, but because Draco's been hiding Lucius dosen't know he's there, and just as Voldemort is about to kill Harry Draco repays him (breaking Sirius's headmaster relative's comment about saving their own necks,) by taking AK for him, making Lucius mad, (as we all know, NOT GOOD....) so he goes and knocks Voldemort half senseless, breaking his wand in the process, so Harry, who, at this point is Very emotional, for obvious reasons, and (linking with GOF and POA) throws AK at Voldemort, killing him, Harry promptly falls unconcious and Lucius carries him out of the Riddle house, which is collapsing all around them, the Ministry arrives and Lucius explains it all to them, and the Ministry decide not to arrest Lucius or Harry, (Harry has just killed Voldemort, and that's my reasoning for that, which is where POA comes in.) We then zoom straight to the end of year feast, in which McGonagall, (DD died when LV raided the school for hostages,) tells the school what's happened, and awards the House Cup to Slytherin for Malfoy's braveness, where upon ALL the Gryffindors stand up and applaude them (??? :huh: :upset: ) And after THAT we zoom all the way to Privet Drive, where Harry's packing up and leaving the Dursley's on his Birthday, to go and live with the Weasley's, and Vernon comes into the scene with one VERY LARGE (Larger than what Dudley usually gets large) birthday cake, but, the weird tihng is, Dudley ISN'T annoyed, or jeaslous, or anything, he's HAPPY for Harry (??????) So Harry walks into the Living Room and finds PRESENTS! (And not your usual socks or 50 pence pieces either, proper presents like games and TV's and a mobile phone,) and, just to cap it all off a owl comes into the living room via the window and gives Harry his Newts (Straight Maximums.) And then it just stops, goes black.

Well, I did, and it was awful.

I dreamed that HBP came out, and I bought it, and people just would not let me read it. They kept bugging me and such. I know exactly why I had this dream, because when OotP came out I ended up having to spend a couple of days on a road trip and I couldn't just sit down and read like I wanted to. It was horrible. This time I'm taking the day off and locking myself in my room.

I've had a few but they have so far been really stupid.

One i remember pretty clearly was this. I had somehow won a trip to London, and i was overjoyed. So I got on a plane and flew over there. As soon as i got there i thought 'Hey im gonna get to see Harry Potter!' So im looking all over what i imagine was London and soon i came to a big theme park.
The weird part is that the theme park was decorated in Rudolph the red nosed reindeer stuff from the (tv) movie. I ran around and i finally see Harry Potter on a carousel thing and of course i make a beeline over to him acting like a complete idiot. The weird thing is is that on the carousel thing you like rode rudolphs and brooms instead of horses.
Finally i woke up because as i got near harry the big snow monster person (you know the big scary monster in the rudolph movie) and Dementors.

I laughed very hard when i woke up. Sorry if it confused you (i did me while i was writing this). But im a confusing person so there.


There was also one more where i was at Hogwarts and i was Lily and this boy i like at school was James. He does look like him minus the glasses. The dream basically reenacted the 'Snapes worst memory' thing but with me and him playing lily and james.

I had a dream last night about Tom Riddle and Hermione, and it was from Tom's point of view, so I guess I was Tom.
Tom's at a 1940's Ivy League college, and they keep on having these dances outside. Well, Tom isn't too keen on them, because he doesn't like to dance too much (he did know how to a bit...it was swing music), and he doesn't have a date. So he's just chillin' on this roofless gazebo the whole time, that's a bit away from the main dance crowd.
During the third dance that's held, there's an intermission, and all these Hogwarts students come bustling through: Harry, Hermione, Ron, etc. Tom sees Hermione, and asks, or rather, demands that she dance with him when the music starts up again. Ron's a bit jealous, but he goes to sit down by the refreshments with Harry.
When the music starts up again, it's not swing music, but disco! Tom is surprised, and has this look on his face like "What the hell is this rubbish?!" Hermione is all happy and dancing and grabs Tom's hands and says, "C'mon Tom! Dance!" And he pulls aways, "No" He's so disappointed because he wanted to try swing dancing with her :)
So she leaves in a huff, and goes to sit next to Ron, and Tom gets a bit upset. He sits down on the edge of the gazebo, and starts talking to this old wise black guy.
"What's wrong, son?"
Tom nods over toward Ron and Hermione.
"The redhead?"
"The one with the redhead."
Then the man gives Tom all this love advice! And then I woke up :)

i had harry potter dreams for 7 days straight! i don't know.. but some of the dreams was quite unpleasant but still.. it has something to do with me holding a wand. i guess i had these dreams because i read harry potter before i go to sleep every night..

i dreamt i was harry (even though im a girl) and that the basilisk was after me and ron and hermione. it was night and we resorted to hiding EVERYWHERE. like a public bathroom in some restaurant, in dudley's bedroom (which looked suspiciously like my brother's when he was younger) and so forth. one of the last scenes were us three on the hogwarts express (still at night) when the train skids to a stop bec crookshanks was blocking the way; hermione got off to get him but she died. ron died too but i forgot why. then i woke up in a jolt and even though it was actually a nightmare, i was SO GLAD i had an hp dream that instead of being relieved to wake up i was sad. (that proves what an hp freak i am).

another time, i dreamt i was riding a horse towards the park around the corner. the street was getting longer and longer and trelawny was after me. when i reached the park, there was a swing with my cousin kyle in it. also there was a box with bars (like a small cage) beside us but i forgot who was in it. i think i broke trelawnys teacup thats why shes after me. go figure.

another dream is that i was getting in the hogwarts express, which when u got in, looked more like a cruise lounge than a train. it was full of squishy starbucks chairs and you could buy coffee and drinks. when i reached hogwarts it was a quidditch match bet gryf and hufflepuff. a schoolmate of mine named jewelyn was one of the seekers, i forgot which, and something happened to delay the game. i was a spectator.

what else? oh yes. once i dreamt voldie was after me. i was in my house (which didnt look like my house AT ALL) and was rushing around, shutting every door and window i could bec he was outside trying to get it. finally i was finished but realized i failed to lock the sliding patio doors! i quickly locked it b4 he could come in. somewhere along the dream i had a talk with dumbledore too but i forgot what part.

once, i also dreamt (b4 the 5th book same out) that i bought it. it was really awful. it was a diary style book about harrys boring life in privet drive and hogwarts. nothing happened the entire year. no story, not plot, no nothing. i was so mad at jo.

i probably had a lot more that i forgot about, but these were the ones that particularly stuck to me, even if the first 3 dreams all happened b4 the 4th book even came out.

I dreamt about two weeks ago that I was a student at Hogwarts. I was in the same year and house as Harry, Hermione, and Ron and I took the place of Seamus. I was following them to Potions class and then got lost and found my way up around the Owlry. It was really strange. Then once I found Snape's class, he deducted like 50 million points from me, gave me extra homework, and gave me a lecture on responsibility and said how I should follow Draco's habits. Then I woke up on the verge of tears. Very odd dream.

I also dreamt a while back that HBP already came out like two months ago and they had sold out of every book and wasn't making anymore. That was terrible!

I had a neat dream last night. In fact it was so neat that I kept hitting the snooze button and was late for work. :)

In my dream, I went to this large two story house. This house was next to a river where these two people were fishing. As I watched, they pulled out this enormous fish. I don’t know what it means but I’m talking a seriously big fish.

From the river I could see this path leading up to the house. I walked up the path and onto the front porch. On the wall near the front door was a sign that read “Harry Potter Museum”. I think the house was The Burrows because it reminded me of it from the movie. From the front door I walked in this short hallway. Off on the right was the kitchen. The kitchen had flying oven mitts and the appliances were moving by themselves. It was very cluttered and chaotic but very cozy. I didn’t see a clock on the wall though.

I then walked into the living room. I saw a bookcase with books like “Hogwarts: A History” and “ Everything you wanted to know about Pixies but were afraid to ask”. I tried to walk over to the bookshelf to grab a book but a voice said that this was a museum and I wasn’t allowed to touch anything.

I also noticed a lazyboy chair in the living room with a pouch on its side that held parchments and scrolls. It also had a book called “Quidditch though the ages”. I didn’t see a TV but there was a very large fireplace.

Moving from the living room I entered a hallway that was full of paintings; typical wizard paintings that moved and talked. Near the end of the hallway was a very large painting that had hundreds of characters in it. Each person had their name underneath them kind of like the Marauders map. My eye was drawn to a person named Otis (last name started with an M). Then it said HPB.

The alarm went off again and I finally HAD to get up and go to work. But, if the HPB does end up being named Otis I’m applying for the Divination post at Hogwarts!!!!

I was in this marble mansion and my brother told me to keep hold of something. I then suddenly apperated upstaires and by brother was there and so was Voldemort. Apparently I had the Philososhers Stone. So with the Philosohers Stone I managed to run away from Voldemort and apperate around the house, contolling my brother too. I went into a different room and suddenly the Philosophers Stone made me apparate by a lake and Voldemort pushed me in and then I woke up...Very weird since the Philosophers Stone doesn't apparate people...

I've only ever had one Harry Potter dream, which is odd, cause it's a huge part of my life.

I was meeting JK Rowling, and it wasn't like one of those "ohmygodohmygodohmygod you'rejkrowling iloveyou" type meetings. I was surprisingly calm and we were just having a conversation. She showed me something that was supposed to give something away from the next books, and it had a picture of Dobby that kept changing into a picture of a dwarf/gnome-type man and then back into Dobby. So, Dream-Me knew that there's a secret to Dobby -- that he has some sort of transformation powers.

Then, Dobby himself came in. So then it was me, JK Rowling, and Dobby, pretty much just hanging out.

Wierd, I know, but it's my only Harry Potter dream as of yet, so I love it :rolleyes:

I've once had a dream about attending Hogwarts and I was standing in the Entrance Hall trying to summon something (I don't remember what, but that's not really important), but the spell failed every time. Then I was suddenly outside near to the forest and some dementors attacked me. I tried the Patronus charm, but only a thin silver ray came out of my wand. They came closer and closer and then I woke up

This is an interesting thread. I consider myself fairly obsessed with Harry Potter, but I have never dreamt about Harry Potter where I wasin the dream. I read all five books for the first time last March and April, and right after that I would make up stories in my head about what would happen next quite often. Then I would dream about it. Sometimes I would get confused about what I read, what I made up, and what I dreamt.

I haven't looked at very much of this thread. I am "old", and a mother of two. My daughter has had dreams where she is in the story...do you think its an age thing?

I had this really wierd Harry Potter dream this summer, when I was reading all of the books hardcore (for the first time).

I was Harry Potter. (I know that's wierd and all because I'm a girl, but bear with me). I was somewhere, where there were a lot of cabin like buildings basically everywhere. Voldemort was after me. The problem was, that I didn't really know charms, curses, countercurses, spells, etc to do against him...because I'm not actually a wizard, and this was an odd dream. Anyway, the one thing that I realized that I was best at was flying around on my broom. (I don't remember if it was the Nimbus or the Firebolt). Anyway, I couldn't exactly remember where the broom was, so I had to run around all of these cabins looking for it frantically. And there were no other people around. Apparantly, they were all hiding, assuming that I was going to take care of Voldemort...or maybe that if they sacrificed me, he'd be happy and leave them alone. Well, I think that I finally got my broom and I had to fly around basically dodging Avada Kedavras or some equally worse cure. It was scary as all get out. I was actually so nervous and I was convinced that I was going to die. But in my dream I had determined that mine/Harry's best weapon and most prominent talent would be on my broomstick.

I kind of hope that Harry gets to battle Voldemort flying around on his broomstick and throwing curses at him. It would be great. All the fun of a quidditch match with a million times the danger!

And then I'm in the game running around with Harry and the Gang. And then we all start dancing, and theres dementors around us. But whats worse is that Colin Creevay comes up and asked me to marry him...EWWWW!

I've had a couple of Harry Potter dreams. The ones I remember I incorporate into fan-fics. The most recent dream was very vaguely related to Harry Potter, and it shared a similar feeling to the books more than a specific character or event. The one before that I based an entire fan-fic on, after fleshing the idea out. In the dream, Harry Potter learned that he had to go into the Forbidden Forest with Hermione to find a hidden city and retrieve an unknown something. The wizard who was telling him all this told him specifically not to climb the stairs or touch the walls in the city, as they would collapse.
I also dreamt once that I met J.K. Rowling, and that she lived right around the corner of my house. She was very nice about me randomly showing up on her doorstep- much nicer than any reasonable person would be in real life ("Come in, sit down, have tea!")

I had a Harry Potter related dream about two months ago: it's slightly ummm....14A....so I'll keep it as innocent as possible.
I dreamed that Alan Rickman and I were involved in some way (he's absolutely gorgeous, but it was just a little bit creepy, because he's so much older than me.) But anyways, in my dream, I was 25, about 6 years older than I actually am, and for some reason, he was younger than he actually is (like 40-45 I think)
So anyways, I knew that what I was doing was wrong, especially because I already had a boyfriend, but even though I felt guilty, I didn't really care.
Then somehow my sister found out what was going on, and she threatened to tell my bf. Oh, another weird thing....for some reason Alan lived in my apartment even though we were supposedly being so discreet.
So anyways, when I found out that my sister knew, I finally decided that I would end it, and so I marched over to see him, and said "I'm not going to do this anymore."
He didn't even seem that upset, he just kind of grinned and said something like "oh, you'll come back in a week."
Even though I said very convincingly that I would not, a voice inside my head was saying "oh, for sure."
LOL it was a very nice dream though......although I have the most random dreams ever

My daughter used to dream that Voldemort was hiding in her closet. combination of HP at age 8 and Monsters Inc. I guess.

I would freak out if Voldemort was in my closet (or rather dreamt that he was). I think that he's strange and scary looking in the first place. The thing is...he wouldn't fit in my closet. I utilize every inch of space that I have. I never had any dreams about monsters under my bed/in my closet. I always knew that the junk that was there was scarier than a monster anyway...or maybe just my mom knowing how messy I was, was scarier than a monster. :lol:
