I wasn't quite sure on where to put this, so I apoligise if I chose the wrong spot.

A while ago, I had a very strange dream, completely devoted to Harry Potter - it was REALLY odd.
I was flying on a broomstick with a bunch of people from Hogwarts (none of whom I recognized) and we got seperated. Somehow I ended up in a muggle village that had the Whompig Willow nearby. I pretty much crashed into it, and accidently froze it. The passage way opened up and I went through. At the end of the path I saw Snape, eavesdropping of course, and I knocked him out with my broom. Then I rushed into the room and warned Harry and the rest of the people that Lupin was going to change into a werewolf, and Pettigrew's escaping and everything else. And that's pretty much where it ended.
That's all I can remember about it, I'm sure there was more stuff though.

Has anyone else had Harry Potter related dreams?? And what where they about?

I have them quite often. In fact, the opening scene from my fanfic 'The Music Box' was for the most part taken from a dream I had.

Ooh! I had a Harry Potter dream! I'll tell you about it:

Ok, I was playing Quidditch, and I was Gryffindor's seeker (who the heck knows what happened to Harry). We were playing a match against Huffelpuff and I arrived too late to the game, and the Huffelpuff seeker caught the snitch before me because he had a head start or something...I knew all about it in my dream but now I forget =P ANYWAY, the Gryffindor Quidditch team was really upset and they all were over at my house, sitting on my brother's bed, in his bedroom (weird, I know). I felt really bad because they lost and it was my fault. I went into my basement and found the snitch that the Huffelpuff seeker caught and found that it had a steering wheel or something inside it that he was using to control it so Huffelpuff could win. So I raced up to my brother's room to tell them that Huffelpuff cheated, and that Gryffindor actually won. And then I woke up.

It was really weird!! That was a few weeks ago, and since then I haven't had another one.

Hey DP, remember your dream "go away..." with Rupert Grint as Caeser? That's a great dream!!! LoL, and I've had a few, involving myself getting book 5 and reading it and everything, but when I wake up I can't remember what it said!!! :(

Me too, actually.

I've also had a dream that I was Sirius Black. And I once had a dream that I was hiding in a cupboard in Hogwarts castle.

These are my more interesting dreams. I once had a dream that i was walking down the street with a Kit-Kat on my head.

I once dreamed the plot of Book Five.

Firstly, Hogwarts will install an LRT (Light Rail Transit; a type of urban train) on the grounds. There will be some kind of race of broomsticks that involves this train, and Harry will win. He'll be off in the Gryffindor common room celebrating with Neville when all of a sudden they realize that something's happening in the passageway outside the room. Harry creeps out and sees a couple of strangers with Dumbledore and McGonagal. These strangers convince the heads of the school that Harry should be expelled and taken to Azkaban on an unfounded charge. Harry flees with only the clothes on his back and his Firebolt. After a gruelling chase, he finds himself at a haven for wizards who have been wrongfully accused; it's located in the highlands of Scottland. The head of the haven, (who will be played by Judy Dench in the movie), tells him that they call themselves the Order of the Phoenix, and that he can stay with them to help plan their counter-attack against the people who have been going around having good witches and wizards wrongfully accused of things. The book ends with Harry looking longingly out over the highlands, wishing he could have told Ron and Hermione where he was going.

I also once dreamed that I encountered Voldemort at the top of a very tall tower that had been erected in an area famous for its Buddist festivals. Harry was indesposed, so I had to fight him. I walked into this big ball room he was in and found him standing there dressed in the black travelling gown Queen Amidala wore in Episode I. I asked him if we should begin, and he said yes. He let me go first, and the only spell I could remember was "Alohomora". It had the same effect as "Wingardium Leviosa", and it sent the bench of a piano floating up into the air. I said I was sorry but I was rusty, and he said it was okay since he was pretty rusty too. Then I woke up.

And, a couple of nights ago, I dreamed that Dumbledore was in this sweet shop and he was buying the place out.

I went into a bookstore and purchased book 5 on the first day of release (the shop wasn't even full with people, it was almost empty actually). And they gave it to me in three small seperate books because it was too big. So I gave it back and asked for the regular one and they had to open a big box to get it. So they handed it to me and it was this extremely large book almost as big as the one Hermione had in the SS/PS movie when she finds out who Nicholas Flamel is lol.

I don't know why I felt I needed to post this but whatever lol it is the common room after all, and I thought it was funny. I wish it were true though (that book 5 was out). Also tell me about your HP related dreams (I know you've had them lol).

I had a dream that I was at the bookstore with Book 5 and a little 4 year old took my copy and ran out the door. I wasn't all that happy as I sprinted out the door.

(What was weird was that the cover looked like GoF, and was about the same size.)

I had a dream I was at like a restaurant and Emma and Rupert where there talking to these people like they were normal people and no one was flooded around them. Behind me was like a rack of Hogwarts robes that costed $2895 or something. It was strange.....

I had a dream that I was playing Quidditch. Yea, I was Gryffindor Seeker and I lost the match, but I found out that Huffelpuff cheated. It was a great dream. I wish I could really play Quidditch ;D

I had a dream that I couldn't reach any of my HP books on my bookshelf no matter how high I reached, that both MNet and CoS logged me off every time I tried to sign on, and that nobody could give me a ride to go see the Chamber of Secrets movie. :scared:

umm...i have various HP dreams. really weird, though. wish i had more control in them. anyway...had one where i was on the set of the 3rd movie and the director aloud me to actually have a line, for some strange reason. and i had to practice a line w/tom felton. and i kept laughing and goin' off topic and told him how much i hate being in front of cameras and never acted before. anyway...we didn't get anywhere on the script, cuz i went off starting a conversation.

i have a lot more dreams that are HP related, kinda funny, but weird. that's just recently, though.

I once had this really weird dream where I was at a concert or something in the middle of this nowhere field. And so I go with my cousin to this restaraunt and Harry's there trying to unlock this tiny door. Then me and my cousin are sitting at a table both reading book 5 (that looked exactly like GoF lol) and somehow i got off track cause there was a map in my copy, and I was fumbling around with that and couldn't get back to the page I was on. Oh and also...In order to get to this restaraunt we had to pass these big white flying dragons lol.

In fact, I don't have any dreams at all. When people sleep, they proces the information they recieved that day...I pretty much ignore the outside world...

Well, I'm never even in the outside world as all I do is stay in my room and read and draw n' such, but I have loads of HP dreams. I had one last night as matter of fact. I was at Hogwarts taking finals for normal highschool classes and I falied miserably on all of them. o.O That was inspired by me just having read the part in PoA where they've just taken all their exams.

I think the strangest dream I had was this...

I dreamt that I got up one day and checked the Leaky as I do every morning and the biggest news was that Dan was dead. No one knew any details yet though. As I was reading all this, my mobile rang and it was Chris Columbus confirming that Dan was dead. And I started to cry in my dream and in my sleep.

My phone actually was ringing... but it wasn't Chris... and Dan defently isn't dead (thank goodness).

What are you talking about? No offense, I mean hes a good actor but hes not Harry Potter. His death wouldnt ruin everything, they would just need to replace the actor, the books would go on and too me thats what really counts...

Well yea, but I don't want to see any of the main characters replaced. I think it would ruin the movie to see anyone else but Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter. Same with Hermione and Ron. Also, you know how long it took them to find the right Harry Potter. It would take them that amount of time this time, and it would therefore postpone the 3rd movie!

I just had this weird dream last night. Snape was in it. He lived near me, yet I was a character from some other book, a female knight to be exact. And we were walkin down the street to his house and Crookshanks was there, he was Snapes pet. And then his house changed, and I turned into Hermione, and Snape was...still Snape but he was his younger self, it was like we went back in time to his Hogwart days. And his parents were there too. They looked like Hermione's parents did in the movie. And then Harry and Ron came over, and we had a slumber party. o.O;;; By for my weirdest HP dream! The End.

I have weird dreams most nights...

Last night I dreamt about a magical apple pie which whisked me away to live with Peirce Brosnan, Geoffry Rush, Jamie Lee Curtis, the cute radio DJ here in town and Pinochio! (explanation/reasoning: I had been watching 'The Tailor of Panama' before going to the theatre to see Pinochio in which the radio DJ was in as Mr Cricket).

You might remember that during my vacations in February in Punta del Este (check puntaweb.com or turismo.gub.uy) I´ve dreamed , NOT invented ("you invented it unconsciously", Sybil would say) a couple of stories. I´ll post them again, with a few changes.

Some notes: some things can´t be explained, it´s a dream!. The dialogs aren´t exactly the same, I forgot too many things, and it was in Spanish :).


Harry was taking a shower (it looked like in the club near home, that I used to go. No money...)(It was NOT at school; maybe after a Quidditch training?) when McGonagall entered. "Don´t look!"? This is strange! Well, she could be spelled) .
- For the next school year, you´ll choose the new matters (don´t know the word; I mean spelling, transfiguration... that). Each one of you (who?) will have a set of hot dogs (!). Each one is a matter, as you can read on them (maybe mustard). If you taste a hot dog and it´s delicious, you may like it, and should accept entering it. If it stinks, the matter will stink to you. To choose one, cover it with the shampoo froth that you have on your heads (this is insane!?!).
Everybody started to eat the hot dogs and covering them with froth. Harry took some time, it was pretty hard... then he ate unconsciously the matters.
- Professor McGonagall! I´ve...
She was gone. Almost nobody was there. He would have to send an owl to the school (not like CoS, at least...)... but Hedwig wasn´t there since... a lot of time (who knows).
Where Ron or Hermione could be?

Harry was walking through the Diagon Alley (or any street that, as I remember, was magic). He entered a store (this is sure. which one? Invent!) when he saw Ron and Hermione... (doing something). Harry felt strangely asleep, or something.
- Hello!
- How are you?
- Hi! Come here, Ron, I need Pig...
- Why?
- Come here...
They went out of the market. Then Ron...
- Flippendo!
- What? -asked Harry.
Then... Ron took his wand of the edge and started to move it as a clock (best description).
- What are you doing?
- What? But this is the way to...
Harry wasn´t asleep. Ron´s face wasn´t normal. It wasn´t Ron, it was... a copy? Harry started to run, very fast.
- What happens, Harry!?
He kept running. What was that? But that... Voldemort. He tried to...
- Now you have to act normally. Or is its sooooo hard? -said a cold and... (like the keys on the left of a piano... best description)(The spanish book says his voice is so; is it like that?) voice. In a store, near Harry, Voldemort was talking to Ron and Hermione. No, other copies. A bit more realistic than the others, but fake. Then Voldemort saw Harry. Before a nanosecond (lol) Harry was running. after 50 meters Harry saw without doubt his real friends, with some books on their hands.
- Harry! Why...
- HERE!
- ...do you r...
- COME HERE! NOW!
- ...un?
- NOW!!!
The three friends ran into a market (it was muggle!).
- What happens, Harry!? -asked Hermione.
- Voldemort was here. With a couple of copies of you.
- What? -said Ron and Hermione at the same time.
- Yes, two Rons and two Hermiones, besides you.
- That´s right...
Voldemort was there.
- Hermione, ask for help! (not really, but Hermione wasn´t there later) -shouted Harry
- You know you can´t beat me... (blah, blah, blah, a long speech, like the bad with Bond, like always)
Then he took a strange object, like two small pendants, fixed in the top by an axle (the base was like the elsitio.com logo)
- Following the muggles theories, two things can´t be at the same place at the same time. With this, I can move you, and break that rule... Let´s see what happens...
He took the bases with their fingers, and closed them (hard to explain in English). Harry suddenly started to move to the front (Ron was 3 meters in front of, and to the left of him, I think)...
Voldemort disappeared. Nothing else happened. Well... Where´s Ron? Then I woke up...


And two days later...


(At Hogwarts)
- Voldemort!
- Stop, I don´t wanna hurt you! Look at this!
He threw his wand through the window (that means faaar).
- What do you want to say? -said Harry, doubting.
- Only that wizards have stomachal problems. (?) You´ll have to take this tablets, and you might need a tratment...
- Do you think I´ll belive that?
- But...
He ran. He took the Maurder´s Map (not really, but... read) and noted that Dumbledore wasn´t in his office, he was... in a room that Harry didn´t know. He took his cloak (not really, but if not, what´s that map?) and started to go there.
...
Then Harry had to up. (the map didn´t show height... I mean he noticed that becausehe couldn´t see Dumb) But how? He was lost, but with the map. (this part looked exactlt like a part of my house in P. del E.) Next he looked up, and saw another tunnel (I know where it corresponds in the house. I might do a plan and post it on my page :-). He climbed (the movement was like in the game: hands in the edge, one knee...) and continued.

He entered the room. Suddenly he was... floating, like in space!
- Dumbledore!
- What´s up, Harry?
- Voldemort appeared and told me that wizards have stomachal problems, and tried to give me some tablets, and that I might need some treatment. he´s nuts!
- Maybe ...- and another cutdown story.


I tried to remember this exactly, and reproduced this on my computer weeks later, after returning to Montevideo (where I live)

Some weeks ago I had another Harry dream, that was interesting and gave me a cool idea about something... but I´ve completely forgotten it! ****! ...And if I have another one? All lost again? No, write it!
Days later, the November 23º, I had one. When I woke up I wrote it (almost without seeing, in my dark bedroom) in my agenda, so I kept many details. Most important: I am the main guy, not Harry (!); also my friends (well, the two I remember aren´t very good friends) are round there. So it can fit for my "8º book story" (read my signature ;):


We (my friends and I) had to go to the past to make Harry pass a door. I have no idea at all why, and what would that make happen, but that was our mission. And I don´t know if Harry was in the future with us, or if he wasn´t then, and we had to "rescue" him. Probably the second one, you´ll see.
Back in time, we entered into the house of his parents. It had two floors, was big and pretty normal, but it seemed to be placed in the jungle, not in a forest (who knows?).
Of course there were they, with a Harry... baby! We explained them the idea quickly, and we started to search (that door that looked like a fireplace). It was in fact located in the outer ceiling (and James didn´t notice this before! Maybe it appeared in a certain moment), and we took the little Henry to the hole, and he disappeared.
Finished the task, there was a problem: we still were in the past! The exit wasn´t that place... so we should find it. Our strange instinct said we should go to a party, in the top floor of a certain club (incredibly it wasn´t the one I have already written). While climbing the stairs, we noticed that there were about three doors per floor, so find the place would be impossible, but our instinct (again) told us, the stuff wasn´t in those doors.
Finally in the party comes the weirdest part: we met... ourselves! That is something a bit impossible: the James-Lily part was round 1980, and we were about 15 in the story, so the party was round 2000! (if I include something of this story in the book, I may have an explanation for this)... Anyway we were afraid of the situation: what if somebody discovered this! (Herm in PoA...) but, exactly like in a bad movie, when somebody turned the head, the another one hid (correct word?) him-herself, and everything ok. I remember how did I talked with one of the already-existent friends... but the thing is that nothing was there.
So we should go down. I was jumping while downstairing, as I usually do in real life (I must have been waking up, so I started to planning my movements...) when somebody shouts me on my back. The downstairing was to the left, but they discovered a big entrance to the right. I turned and went there, and few meters further a pool was covering the ten-meters wide passage. I jumped into it, like my friends (with normal clothes!), swam some meters (´bout... twenty) and got out of it. There was a tall dick-window panel covering the continuation, and two doors that went to the same place (the other side was clear, and a window usually it transparent...). While opening one, a 20-year-old woman told me "no, it´s not here, don´t enter". Probably she had seen us before, or she wouldn´t have said that, would she? Anyway, I continued walking, climbed a woody stair (there were also two, that guided us to...) in a small hall. There were two doors, but my infaible sub conscience recommended me to continue. Walking to the left there were two other doors, and more stairs. One door said "manteince" (or whatever) and I thought it wasn´t, so I opened the another one a bit, showing a dark zone... and somebody closed it. I opened it again a bit more, and somebody was there... and I got up. Exactly in the most important moment! Very probable, though.


I thought it was a routine: two dreams each 11-2= 9 months... but I´ve had more.
One was just TERROR: with my sister and brother, I think, in Punta del Este (the full house this time), at night... seeing and feeling... how a dementor was coming closer and closer! I remember where "it" was once, seven meters further, near "that" tree on the right. It was VERY scary.
The 2º of December I almost couldn´t sleep because of my deformed nose, so at 4 am I had very little slept. So I slept until much later... and I was so lucky that I dreamed again... Do you remember, different versions of the books have different covers? German´s Harry looks like a virtual-boy, English (I think) looks like painted by a four-years-old boy, Spanish is very realistic (not GoF)? Well, I was in a library and I found a different version of GoF, with hard cover (don´t know how was it). I opened it and the story was different! In Spanish (remember that very clearly) it was written some things I don´t remeber (only it was very dark and cloudy)... but one: McGonagall had been drawn in a portrait, maybe for hanging in Hogwarts... and later she was killed! George talked about that very seriously... Then I thought (in dreams) it wasn´t GoF but... OotP, you know.

ok i wasn't exactly in the dream, more like watching it in a cinema,

its harry's secon week in school, he suddenly relises that quirrels bad and must be killed... He grabs godrics sword from nowhere... (i didn't say it was gonna make sense)...and heads for quirrels chamber.
but quirrel already knows whats happening and cackles: you thoght you could destroy me, eh potter? Than there green light and avada kedavra... harry's dead!!!!!
no he isn't, he grabs hermiones time turner( what?) and goes back to the first day at school where he kills quirrel at sight........

the strange thing is i wasn't disturbed by this extaodinary dream, in fact i woke up with a smile!!!!!!!!!

I had a strange dream too...but it was about the fifth book. I was dreaming about how I brought the book and read it all in a day. But I HATED it!! :dead: I hope this doesn't really happen.

I dreamed I went to see CoS a month before its showing, at the movie was really rare, all characters were going around and insulting each other (with gross words) and Hermione was crying and arguing with Harry wihout any reason, and I was sitting in the theater just thinking "what the hell is that?". Very bizarre dream, it hadn't any sense.

I had this dream were Hargid was playing soccer(dont ask) and he kept on missing the soccer ball and like everybody was like"Hagrid!" and then he tried shooting at the goal and the ball went past...but nobody noticed cuz they all went over to the woods and picked up a package(a lil odd) and they carried it to Hargrids hut and opened the package and it was my cat...(a lil freaky) and my cat was all you know how when like cows or horses come out of there mom they have like the wet stuff on them....well my cat was like that and he had fur??(dont even ask!) and also his eyes were closed and Dumbledore was like" Oh it won't open its eyes in a while" then i woke up! I was soooo confused

I had a dream once that harry potter and lotr kinda came together. Voldie, sarumon, and, sauron were trying to get thr one ring (and trying to kill eachother while pretending to work together) h/h/r were traveling w/ the fellowship to try and stop the 3 baddies..... it was very strange, and when ron was seduced by the ring and frodo wouldn't let him have it, he started running around naked talking about...... I think it was the wizzard of oz. Ok , NO MORE COOKIES BEFORE BED!!!!

I've never had a Harry Potter related dream (not fair) but my best friend had this really werid one. This was during the summer so the Christmas references were weird.

Well she was in her bedroom but it was the Gryfindor common room (must have been pretty cramped!) and there was a Christmas Tree in the middle of it. She was dancing around this Christmas Tree with Dean Thomas (God only knows why!) but he wasnt Dean Thomas he was Matt Holland (Irish soccer player, it was during the World Cup so that may explain it)

And I can't remember any more of it, but I remember laughing for hours about it!

The only dreams I had was I was in the playstation 2 game, and I was at a restaurant and Emma and Rupert were there talking to fans and stuff, abnd behind me where the Hogwarts school uniforms on sale for like 3,976 dollars or something. Then, there is a thread in mugglemedia that says something about Ron saying how he feels to Hermione in the Sorcerer's stone dvd, and I had a dream that I heard that as well. It was really weird.

A couple nights ago, after seeing CoS again, I had this dream that I was at the set of a movie (not Harry Potter) and I was an actress in it. I was watching it being filmed, and then Daniel Radcliffe came over and sat next to me and we started talking. I didn't freak out like some 12 year old would, I just casually said that he was really lucky to have Harry Potter's role and I congratulated him. We talked about that for a while and then got into other, random things. Oh, he was about 15 or so in this dream.. so I was17 or 18? But we were talking, when my time was up and all, so we had to part. It was pretty cool. We were going to keep in touch and all. What's really weird, is, nothing out of the ordinary happened in this dream. It was like an everyday deal. Hm.

If had a few. I had one and It got me into it. Here we go: Over the summer I was reading the books again. I was reading the CoS before bed. I went to sleep.

I was in a shop thing and my friend was there. School started in a week and then I said, I have to get to London. Then I met Hermione and stuff and then The chamber opened. Hermione got petrified and we suddenly went to these really plain warehouse place. Then I asked Harry and Ron if they would help, and they said they didn't feel like.( Then I went on the website the next day!)

After I saw the CoS I had a dream I looked into the eyes of the evil snake, don't know how to spell it. Then I saw LOTRs finally and had a dream about that eye.

Before that I had a dream that I met HPand RW at the starbucks by my school. Then Ron started to date my friend, and I started to date Harry and we flew off on broomsticks. I have another weird one too. I have to go bed though. hehe!

I have not had Harry Potter dreams, but I've had dreams related to it (sorta). Once I dreamed that Daniel Radcliffe was going to be at some theme park, and it was televised, and I was there. The people asked who wanted to ride this roller coaster with him, and everyone said yes except me, because I don't like roller coasters. They picked me anyway and I spent the whole time clutching onto Daniel's arm extremely hard and screaming. Another time I dreamt that Tom Felton worked at the grocery store near my house. The odd thing was, he was wearing his Slytherin quidditch robes. . .

I had a really weird dream on new years eve. Well not really, It was 7:00 when I finally fell asleep. Well I was watching LOTR and I fell asleep.

Malfoy had what looked like a stamp and it burned Harry. Then He ran off. The next day Harry was shorter. Nobody knew why. Then finally they got malfoy and asked him what it was. He said it was a halfler and it sucked the magic out of the person and that sometimes you would be get shorter, ugly, or a different spices.(Weird) Then Hermione said that he would be a halfling like a hobbit and then she told them it was from LOTR a muggle book.(DUH) Anyway, Hermione found a spell that would let him grow a little more. Only when Hermione and Ron did it on him at the same time it worked.
Then he was taking a finally and his magic stopped and he was like 3 feet tall. Hermione and Ron did a really strong one and something was coming. It was a crash, but that was the planes that start the rose parade in Pasadena.

We selpt over at my dad's office to watch it. I only got a half hour of sleep! I just have weird dreams. I really do.

I had 2 dreams about Harry...

The first one was, I had lost a filling in my tooth, so I was walking around, looking for the dentist's. I kept asking Snape to tell me where the dentist's was but he kept smiling that evil way and glaring at me.

Another dream, I was Harry and I was looking for my Invisiblity Cloak at Hogwarts, but dementors were in the hallway, so I had to hide in classrooms.....

I was having trouble sleeping the other night.... and finally when I fell asleep at 2:03 am......

And all of a sudden, Hagrid was trying to beat down my door! I sat in my bed, horrified, and I realized, he was kicking the door so hard, it was making my lights flicker. Suddenley, the lights went out, and my door bursted open. Hagrid came in, and threw me a newspaper.
" 'Ot ya migh' 'ave needed 'at, ya forgo' it this mornin'"
Then he put my door back on the hinges and left.

A while ago I had this dream. First it was a dream-withen-a-dream. In the dream I seemd to be reading the fifth harry potter book (the next one of course! ;)). I can't remember much of it, except for a few words such as scar :sigh: Then that dream-withen-a-dream faded, and I woke up into the original dream. In it I I awoke to find Harry Potter in the room. I asked him if he were all right, and he'd replied 'yes' in a puzzled voice. It seemed a strange dream to me, but I guess all dreams are like this: => :wacky:

I frequently have dreams that are either entirely about HP or have something HP-related in them. :) I usually dream that I'm just another student at Hogwarts, but a couple of weeks ago I dreamed that I WAS Harry. Most of the dream involved me sitting in Potions and being tormented by Snape. After class I masterminded some huge practical joke with Fred, George, and Ron. :P I can't remember what the joke was, though.
I once had a dream that I was the DADA teacher. :D In the dream, I was like, "Oh, so I'M the new female DADA teacher everyone keeps talking about! Cool!" I also became best friends with Lupin and Snape in this dream. (Strange combination, I know.)

Oh, yes, one more... About a month ago I had a dream that consisted entirely of me reading Order of the Phoenix, cover-to-cover. I was reading a real story, there were actually real words on the pages, and someone did die.
And when I woke up, I couldn't remember anything in the book. :( Oh well. If I'm psychic, I'm glad I can't remember, because I'd much rather be surprised after agonizing months of anticipation. :)

We all had our results from the O.W.L.s, so we opened them at the same time and I did better than Hermione! Anywho, like a lot of you I have dreamt I was reading book V. Only, somehow I get sucked into it like Harry gets sucked into the diary in CoS. Suddenly, I'm Harry. Things seem to be going like they go in the books, but then no one really cares about Voldie anymore. They all think I'm crazy. Dumbledore is too busy to see me, and Ron and Hermione are totally avoiding me. Finally, Hermione says 'Harry, we need to talk'. She pulls me into this broom closet. Ron is already there. Ron says 'I think you need to sit down for this'. So we are all sitting down on mop buckets and empty crates. I'm just sitting there, staring at them. Finally, Hermione says 'Harry, Ron and I are seeing each other now, so we really don't have time for all of your running about trying to defeat You-Know-Who'. I look at Ron and he avoids my gaze. 'Ron!' I say, and he just looks at Hermione and shakes his head in agreement. After that, I go off to take a walk around the lake and pout. Then I wake up all sad :( Poor Harry.

It's true! There I was, sitting in my Defence Against the Dark Arts class, innocently chatting to the person next to me, when out of nowhere my frelling teacher decides to hex me with some kind of ear infection hex. Made my left ear go numb, deaf, and the column from my ear to my nasal cavity was in pain, like it was being squeezed. He said it would be good practice for my defensive skills, the sadistic ******* ..

Then I woke up. But I tell you, I felt that curse. It's not uncommon for me to feel things in dreams; for example, I've been shot, I've fallen off the roof, and I've lost my arm. But this is the first time I've ever been hexed in a dream. It was so realistic, I thought I'd lost my hearing for a few seconds.

Clearly I need to give Harry Potter a break for a while.

Has anyone else been hexed, cursed, charmed, or potioned in a dream? Has anyone else visited Hogwarts in their imaginations? Please tell me I'm not the only one.

But seriously, as far as I can recall, I have yet to be hexed, or cursed a la Harry Potter style in any dreams that I've managed to remember. Anyhow, my imagination do runs amok with Harry Potter world of wizardry whenever I wanted to go to sleep, so I kind of lulled myself to sleep imagining I'm one of the seniors in Hogwarts trying to save those trio from harm :p

I have HP dreams quite often actually . . .
In my favorite one I was flying on a broomstick in my front yard. I was doing lots of loop the loops ;) Then I noticed smoke coming from a fire next door and the muggle firepeople came. At one point I actually flew into the smoke and choked a bit. I was seen by the firechief and questioned about my quidditch robe which I had dropped. I told him about magic and Hogwarts and got the desired respose of disbelief. I was still terrified that I had revealed the magical world to the muggles. And I remember talking to a old witch about the incident later. She seemed to be like a prof at Hogwarts or something but she wasn't like McGonnagall. I always thought that she was something like a female DD.

Once I had a dream that I was at Hogwarts. It seems that Draco and I were having a row (haha now I'm picking up Brittish lingo). And I tried to do a spell, and I don't remember which one. It didn't work and Hermione was trying to help me with it. I ended up just saying it must not be working because I'm a muggle and that's the last I remember.

I have had several strange HP dreams, several concerning the fact that Book 5 was too big to print so they released it on the internet (there was a price attached of course) ... and after paying an exorbitant yet worthwhile fee my computer crashes forever. I'm also now to poor to go to an internet café because I spent all of my cash buying the book ... *sighs*

Anyway, the scariest Potter dream involves a Weasley. Not any of the Weasleys in the book, but a "Patrick Weasley" (strangely, he looked exactly like a Patrick H. that I supposedly dated last year (he has red hair) -- it's a long story, but if you're going to go out with a girl, you might as well ask her before telling the entire school about it ... and playing tricks on her and beating up people because they trip her backpack on wheels). Anyway, I was in Ravenclaw strangely (I don't think I'm a RC, but hey! dreams do that to people) and he was in Gryffindor like the other Weasleys. Our parents were old friends, and an arranged marriage was concocted ... and then suddenly I was actually at the wedding and Dumbledore was the minister and Draco was a flower girl (I'm sorry to all Draco fans, as I am one of you ... but I must say, it was almost as funny as Snape in a dress in PoA) ... However, just before the "i do" part, I woke up; and then went back to sleep and dreamt about Quidditch.

I completely understand. I had a dream where I had the book in my hands but I couldn't get a chance to read it. I would open the book and pages were, I think blank, and then I dropped the book and bent down to get it and it was gone. I spend the rest of the dream trying to find it.

We have these dreams because we are thinking about the book so much before we sleep. I know I lay away at night thinking about it. June 20th is the due date for my brothers baby, but I always forget because I know I will be at Barnes and Nobles that night! I can just see the family getting mad at me for choosing a book over a new addition to the family.

I remember having a lovey dovey one about Fred... I don't remember what happened though. The best one ever, though, involved Christian Coulson, so I don't know if this really counts as an "HP" dream. Well, I dreamt that I was in music appreciation class and it was in one of those big lecture halls. It must have been the first day of class, because the teacher had told us to finish the statement "I'm the guy who..." It was weird cuz it was written on the overhead, which was facing the wall to our left instead of the board directly in front of us.

Well, first thing that pops into my head is to say "I'm the guy who say HPCOS ten times." Then I turn to my right and who's sitting next to me, but that hottie Christian Coulson! So I couldn't say that. Then I started talking to him and asked him if anyone else noticed that there was a fine *** actor in the class. He said no, and that he wouldn't say that for his answer. I asked if I could say it, and he said no. It was so cute cuz he seemed all shy that I noticed him. Then all of a sudden he started packing up like if he wanted to leave class before his turn, and then I see all these girls' numbers on his desk, which was cute cuz he was so shy. So he got up to leave, and instead of going out the back door (we were sitting in the back right corner), he goes to the left front door. I followed him to try and give him my number, since he was in town and all these girls was hitting on him, but then he was gone. *sigh* That was a fun dream. He was just so shy and polite...MAN! *giggle*

I dunno if this would be considered Harry Potter, but, I keep having a dream with the same concept. I find my cat, and it's not really my cat, then I see my neighbours waving at me, I turn and there's always a door. I go through it and wake up. I read the summary of the 5th book last week...It has something about a door. And I had this dream before I read it. I aslo had a HP dream like last year where Voldemort took Ron, then Harry and Hermione went through this door. It was short but you have to say that's pretty strange. If that happens in the book I'm going to freak.

Then last night I had a dream in which my mom thought the seeker in qudditch was a shrimp. I remember her saying "So the seeker is a shrimp" or something like that. (shrimp as in the sea creature). I dreamt about Harry Potter twice and he's dead in my dream.That dream was so weird.Harry's a ghost and still goes to school.And in that dream, I also knocked down Hermione while playing with my mom's van.Both of them were dead.And Harry,do you know how he died?He accidentally slept while crossing a busy street and got killed in an accident.Honestly,it was weird.If you have any comment mail me.

Ha! Well, I've had several HP dreams. one was that Profess. McGonagal came, told me I was a witch, My parents started saying how proud of me they were. Well, I went to Hogwarts and became best friends with these to boys. One was a popular orphan and the other was the class clown. I was as I am the Hermione-like person. We went through a series of trials and beat Count Olaf. (from A Series of Unfortuanate events) It was really strange. I've had countless dreams. You'll hear more. lol

I think I had a dream about going into the gryffindor common room. I was inside and for some reason, I was speaking with the Fat Lady who was actually facing inside the common room instead of being outside, protecting the entrance. Then I remember Harry, Ron, and Hermione leaving towards another exit. Which is impossible because the portrait hole is the only way out. I remember seeing them because I saw Hermione's bushy hair. It was really odd. I don't remember all of it but I remember roaming around the Hogwarts halls after that. It was pretty spooky!

I have these dreams really often. Last month I had one where Sirius Black was chasing me. That was the strangest of all. Except for the one I was playing Quidditch, but it was like Volleyball and Softball mixed together We had the same positions. I was seeker. We had bludgers, but they were HUGE they were big bolders rolling around in the air really fast. I woke up after I caught the Snitch ( a soft ball with a tail) and was about to be run over, it was spooky as I was sweaty and I had my hand cupped around my pillow!

I can't believe this topic is up, just last night I had a really weird HP dream... but it made complete sense to me, in fact my sister (who sleeps in the room next to mine) says that I yell something like "¡Esa es la respuesta!" (That's the answer!)

Harry was in Dumbledore's office and he was talking about his parents, and Dumbledore says something like: It's time you remember what really happen....

And then gives Harry a pensieve (pensadero....I'm still in the middle of book four in english) and he begin to put his memories and then goes in...

There when I woke up!!!! But all day long I been having the strange feeling that I have a point, that all was very logical.....

I once had a dream that all the characters in Harry Potter were visiting my college in Fort Collins: Colorado State University. I had a huge fight with Draco Malfoy over who was going to kiss Snape, then, when I was walking through the Student Center to get lunch, I saw Neville accidently blast open our ceiling. McGonnagal snapped at Neville, cried "fixio" (stupid spell right?) and put the ceiling back into its proper place.

And, just today, I had a dream that Snape was stalking Harry, Ron, and Hermione (how unusual) and he crept up behind them and said some harrassing, snide remark to Harry. Then Harry said something among the lines of "You're just jealous because you couldn't get with my dad." Make sense right lol? Well Snape pales and grows silent--as if he was actually dumbstruck about what to say--then walks away.

Today, or yesterday, how do you say it, I had a Harry Potter related dream.

I found an Invisibility Cloak in my grandmother's house on the floor, with a paper that said it was a real Invisibility Cloak. It was a Harry Potter merchandise, and it really worked. It was like a long coat, with sleeves. But it didn't fit really good, my face and hands were still visible so I had to pull the cloak over my hands and face. I was wondering why they didn't use it in the movies, it would be much easier than CGI. It was just all so normal that Invisibility Cloaks existed and that everyone could buy them! It was strange when I woke up and realized that they don't exist.

I also had a dream a few weeks ago where book 5 FINALLY came out and it was so big they had to put it into 2 books and then they could stack on top of each other like they were one book. It makes no sense though.

I had this dream the other night that was really stupid. It was June 21st and JK was to be doing a booksigning of OotP. Anyway I was at the book store and it turned out to be nan, signing the books. I had a book five dream last night.

It was June 21 and I was out of my mind with excitement. I went to my local bookshop, where I have preordered three copies of OotP. I got my copies and I remember the first thing I noticed was that the cover was different. Instead of being a phoenix, it was a series of stick figures and circles. Once I got home, I started reading OotP, but I discovered after reading the first page that it was just a draft copy -- there was handwriting, arrows and bits and pieces crossed out everywhere.

I took the book back to the bookshop and asked for a new copy, but they wouldn't give it to me. In fact, they took away the draft copy and told me to go away.

Ack. It was a nightmare.

I had a dream once that combined two of my great loves in life: Harry Potter and Zelda. If you've ever played Ocarina of Time, you'll know who some of the Zelda chars are, but if you don't, I'll try my best to explain...

OK, I'm going shopping at Wal-Mart. A perfectly Muggle place, right? Well, suddenly it comes over the loudspeaker that Lord Voldemort is approaching and we should all run and hide. I know EXPLICITY he's after me for some reason, though I don't know why. So I grab my hamster friend and we hurry next door to a Weinershnitzel's, and we talk to the manager. He lets us enter his secret underground keep, but Voldemort finds us and we start running.

So we run all the way to Hogwarts school, and hop in a turtle shell boat. But Voldemort finds us and causes a great wave that makes me wash up on the shore of an island. I see odd people there--who are they? It's the Seven Sages from Zelda! Saria(A girl who's always a child, controls forest), Darunia(Large rock-man, controls fire), Ruto(Fish woman but NOT mermaid who's in love with the Zelda hero, Link, controls water), Impa(Very pale and odd woman with bright red eyes and silvery hair, guardian of Princess Zelda, controls shadow), Nabooru(Tan-skinned woman with red hair, comes from the desert & controls spirit), Rauru(old priest-like man, controls light), and Princess Zelda herself. They tell me that Hogwarts has been taken over by Ganondorf, the King of Evil who was also the bad guy in Ocarina of Time, and even Voldemort is no match for him. They say they'll send Saria with me to help defeat him, because for some reason I, a mere Muggle who isn't even Hylean, am the only person who can beat him. This time we take an inflateable raft. Ganondorf sees us and starts firing energy balls at us, and he starts commanding the seaweed in the lake to glow oddly and try to entangle us. We wash up on the shore I started at, and grab the old turtle shell boat and try to sail back. This time, we make it.

Inside we find everyone being held captive in the Great Hall, and Saria tells me we have to give the power of the Triforce(The sacred holy relifact in Zelda) to someone there so they can kick Ganondorf out. Apparently all three pieces of the Triforce are hiding in ME, and Voldemort wanted a piece of that power so he was after me. So I call the Triforce out to see who it goes to, and it goes to... the ghosts of Harry's parents. And they go and get rid of Ganondorf and Voldemort. Oo

And then there's one really WEIRD dream I had. All the death eaters were dancing the Macarena, except for Lucius and Malfoy, who were doing "Stop! In The Name Of Love--" And Voldemort was doing the Electric Slide, and Harry was singing "Who let THAT dog out?" and Fluffy was eating people. XD

Oh man, I'm so glad I found this place. Now I know I'm not alone. Anyway, I had two Potter dreams within the last week. In the one, Harry Potter was having some problem, so he went to Dumbledore's office. The secretary let him in, and she opened up this wall safe, and Dumbledore was hiding in there, and his head was on top of a phoenix body.

In my other dream, Moaning Myrtle kept trying to get Harry to hang out with her. But he finally ditched her and went back to the boys dorm. And then Harry and Ron had this huge epic Jedi lightsaber battle, only they were using 7 foot tall candy canes for weapons. So finally, they go outside to hang around, and Sleeping Beauty shows up. And her driver tells Harry that she doesn't really sleep, she's only pretending. That way, she can avoid boring conversations. Anyway, she immediately falls in love with Harry, and Ginny gets really mad. And then I woke up, just when the dream was getting good.

Although I think my dream is just odd: I was a seeker or something like that and I was getting ready for a match and I was putting in my contacts. The contacts however, were the size of a saucer used for a cup! And for some reason I kept trying to put them in but they wouldn't go in. Then my eyes dried up and a sixth year came by who loaned me his/her (can't remember) contacts and some eye solution. Thereupon I woke up. Naturally, this dream made no logical sense whatsoever so don't try to think that it does!

It was at my former school and I was in a class with some other students and Flitwick was the teacher and Snape was sitting in the class like any other student. We were having a class-discussion about serious things like birth and abortion and such (I think I spend too much time in Knockturn Alley ;) ) and Snape always made very sensible and deep statements and we were having a very constructive conversation. I said to a friend that I really had misjudged the guy. :D

I had another dream about OotP the other night!

I was shopping at Giant Eagle (grocery store/super market) with my mom, and it was sitting on display and I thought to myself "Wow, I really want that book." And then I'm at home and my mom pulls it out of a grocery bag and I get all excited and ask where she got it and she says "Giant Eagle." It was so weird!

I had another dream about OotP a few months ago: I was in French class and all of a sudden my teacher just starts passing out copies of OotP to everyone in the class. In my dream the book was monstrously long. The pages were made from really really thin paper, and it was set up like the bible. It was quite strange.

Having a Harry Potter Dream/Nightmare...

For an hour I kept waking up and falling back asleep and Lord Voldemort was attacking Harry and there was nothing I could do to help or stop it. It was really odd and horrible. There were lights and I wanted Lord Voldemort to leave Harry alone so I made myself wake up!

I had that after finishing Goblet of Fire so it's probably related to that. But, it was horrible!

But I had one scary dream where I had a copy of OotP and didn't want to read it! Wow I'm glad that was just a dream cause that'll never happen, gee it was sooo realistic though o.o

Okay, I just remembered on of the dreams I had of what book 5 was about. Well I was in a car and I actually had the book in my hands, so I started reading it and it was more like an Anne Rice book, like it was written in her style...sort of. For some reason Lucius was a pimp o.O I just remember him having a harem of woman and he was dressed like a 1930's gangster. Harry didn't come in until like half way through for some reason. But it was like older Harry, he was out of Hogwarts and out at sea with Ron hunting down Voldie or something...and then at the end, I was watching it as a movie. And then I was in the movie. And I was a vampire because Lucius was a vampire and that's what had to happen before I was accepted itno his harem o.O and um, it was odd...yeah.

I am so happy! I had my first Harry dream last night! Well, Harry himself wasn't in it, but it was remotely indirectly HP related.:clappy: It was exam day at my high school, and the exam started at 9 a.m. For some stupid reason, I went to my elementary school instead. I ran home and asked my mom if she could drive me because I really really needed to be there to write the exam. I was a young wizard, about my age, I was a marauder, and I was with Lupin and Sirius and James on a secret mission to annoy Snape or steal the Quidditch cup or SOMETHING. In one dream, Snape walked through a door. Then he went and told my grandma that my cousin was misbehaving. (You, er, don't want to know...)

I also had a dream in which I tried to wrestle a newspaper off of Hagrid. Of course, that didn't work and I followed him to a pub-like thing and then became interested in a lavender nameplate.

Once, Voldemort was lighting fires in the corners of the room. I still don't know why.

I wasn't quite sure on where to put this, so I apoligise if I chose the wrong spot.

A while ago, I had a very strange dream, completely devoted to Harry Potter - it was REALLY odd.
I was flying on a broomstick with a bunch of people from Hogwarts (none of whom I recognized) and we got seperated. Somehow I ended up in a muggle village that had the Whompig Willow nearby. I pretty much crashed into it, and accidently froze it. The passage way opened up and I went through. At the end of the path I saw Snape, eavesdropping of course, and I knocked him out with my broom. Then I rushed into the room and warned Harry and the rest of the people that Lupin was going to change into a werewolf, and Pettigrew's escaping and everything else. And that's pretty much where it ended.
That's all I can remember about it, I'm sure there was more stuff though.

Has anyone else had Harry Potter related dreams?? And what where they about?

Like last night, I had one interesting dream of Sirius :love:
I dream that Sirius was spotted by my little girl...I dunno why I had a little girl in this dream but I did. And anyway, I ended up taking Sirius in for the night, I fed him steak because I didn't have dog food and felt so sorry for him, though I didn't know who he really was. I being a muggle and foolish talked to the dog like an idiot and told him how I missed my husband who had died at the Ministry of Magic...and how I wish those followers of he who must not be named would die...and for some reason my daughter said, ' Mum. He's not a dog! He's a human. He's Sirius Black. ' and I wasn't shocked..I just grinned and looked at the black shaggy dog who was staring at my daughter with a look of annoyance. He transformed into Sirius and I ended up having him all to myself after he showered and brushed his teeth :p

Well, I had a dream a month ago or so, that we only had one teacher for the whole day. It was Umbridge. Well, none of my female friends were in this dream, so I was mostly talking to my guy friends (ones name was Neville). Then at lunch, Umbridge held me behind and told me she was predjudice against boys, so I wasn't alowed to be friends with them any more. Well, I told my friends and a lot of odd things happened. It was a very long, and rather funny dream.

Hmm, a little while before OotP came out I had a dream about actually having Book 5! But for some inexplicable reason, I wasn't reading it like a normal person, but just flipping through. :grumble:
But I've also had a couple dreams about Lupin. It's always in a weird sort of haunted house place. The Shrieking Shack maybe. I think in one of them I was a a dog animgus...that was really weird! Then in another one Glideroy Lockhart popped out of the floor, or something like that. Very odd. :lol: The trouble is, I usually remember them only in small disjointed snippets. I really envy all you lucky folks who have lots of cool dreams and remember them so vivdly! :D

hmmm, well i've had dreams where i've been flying on brooms. i couldnt really tell you if it was directly related to harry potter tho, maybe influenced by it tho.

i had another one a few nights ago, i was Harry, and i was w/ Ron and Hermoine. well, the dream was pretty vague. all i really remember from it was that we were all in a room, and Umbridge was yelling at us for one reason or another. and then she left the room and locked us in, and we formulated this big plan to escape. and we like, knocked down the walls with a spell or something, and then were just wanderin around and Umbridge starts charging at us and yelling and stuff. it was funny, and during the whole dream we just kinda outsmarted her and made her look stupid.

I've had serveral Harry Potter dreams(probably cause I usually read at night). The one I remember the most is I was going to Hogwarts and in the same house as Harry and his friends. Then Dumbledore and McGonagal had to leave school and left Snape in charge. Snape was the only teacher left at Hogwarts. He turned Hogwarts into an evil school with all this weird pictures on the walls. Then Dumbledore and McGonagal came back and it went back into its normal self.

Last night I dreamed that I was watching the POA film. It was all pretty accurate until the Platform 9 3/4 scene, when I noticed that Lupin was on the platform. He was walking back and forth, carrying bits of luggage to the train, and then he started doing a little skipping dance up and down the platform.

last night i had a dream about prof. binns being my new history teacher, -well i forgot most of it since this morning, but i remember i was complaining about how bad a teacher he was and that we'd never pass the exam at the end of the year ; he gave us homework and i didn't understand a single word, so the next day in class i was like "how can hermione write so much? but maybe if it was about history of magic i'd be able to understand something",
it was really strange because i knew in my dream hp was a fiction book but prof. binns did exist °.°;;
btw, i wonder why i never dreamed of something in relation with hp before lol
oh and the funny part is that i know a girl on the internet whose screename is hermione and i was just waking up from this dream when she sent me a text message lol

You want weird dreams here we go. I dreamt I lived next door to the Dursleys and Harry was my best friend. But Dudley :censored: wouldn't stop flirting with me :grumble: Then the Weaslys came in a mini van :huh: and took us all to Diagon Alley were I got seperated from the Weaslys and ran into Draco Malfoy :drool: and his parents and we got along and we almost kissed :love: but then my alarm clock went off :banghead: Stupid Alarm clock. I never got to kiss Draco :upset:

it was weird...my school was like, the mall. and we all had secret common rooms.

ive been having a reoccuring dream for the past few months. but instead of ending at the same spot every time it goes on a little more each night i have it...kinda like that one in OotP. well here goes:
im on a movie set and im at hogwarts(but its not for a hp movie) harry hermione and ron are al running away from me and im desperatly trying to catch them. i look down at myself and realize im Luna Lovegood! i say YES! and then i kepp running after them. i start to scream at harry"i love you harry i love you dont u know that?!? JK wants us together!" and he stops and turns and looks at me and says"no no! its cant be true" and then jks face appears in the sky and says "well it is harry, deal with it!" then Chris Columbus goes up to me and takes me away and asks me to play luna in the movie and i was like i am her! and he said well u need an accent but ill give u one so you can be in the movie! and thats where i woke up 2 night ago ill update when it goes further

I have had two the past three nights. They were both about Lily and James.
On Friday, I had one where some people thought I was trying to come between them. A few people got scary, and I woke up with my covers up over my face.

On Sunday, I had a dream that LIly and James were trying to join my church, but Lucius wouldn't let them. (He wasn't a member) Lily kept quoting scripture at him.

I had one two nights ago... again. We were on a band trip or something and we were at a hotel... I'll just tell you the short part with Harry characters in it...
Draco and Harry were standing in a room, yelling at each other. Harry was an adult, Malfoy was a kid. Draco was mad because Harry was protecting him (Don't ask, I don't know). Harry and McGonagol had to lock him in the room from both entrances. I stayed in the room and watched Malfoy. He threw himself into a corner and muttered, "Why is this just like Harry's school life?" It was strange and I don't understand it at all.
