I think Meg Cabot is great if you're in a light-reading sort of mood. I read Boy Meets Girl and it was funny. :)

I liked All American Girl the best! It's about this girl who save's the president of the US and his son falls in love with her. It's really sweet. They should make it into a movie.

Actually, I think that they are a bit well... I don't mean to diss Meg Cabot or anything but she makes Mia look really really pathetic like she has no confidence in herself. And if you've read Princess in Waiting, it's like she's actually wondering if Micheal's going to dump because they don't go out on a date. It's more sad on her part I think.

Meg Cabot is ok. Depends on your reading mood. If youre all for a romantic comedy book, then read one of hers. If not, then you'll maybe have to look a little harder....

It kinda gets a bit to embarrassing. Like in All American Girl, they show a school pi that she hates and lloks really bad in it. That kinda gets a bit...well you'd get it if you read it. And Princess Diaries. Telling the whole world that your momis pregnant with your algebra teacher's baby-it's too MUCH.

ya, it does get that way. I've atleast 4 of her books, and in almost all of them, the characters have this hugely embarassing moment. She's a creative writer, with all those really weird plot lines. Like in Boy Meets Girl, the main character ends up falling in love with her lawyer, who happens to be her ex-boss's fiancee's brother.
It's all fun reading, and there is drama that will be unlikly to happen.

Meg Cabot isn't my all time favorite author or anything, but I've find all of her stories that I've read enjoyable. (American Girl, Princess Diaries)
But I personally find her books the type you can only read once- after one reading, maybe two, they seem to lose their touch.

Did you know that there was already a thread on the Princess Diaries (http://www.cosforums.com/showthread.php?t=35323) books?

You might want to go and have a look there.
