The first Ring was awesome! I did not know they were making a Ring 2... That's got to be interesting. I'll see it.

After watching the original version of The Ring with subtitles and comparing that with the Hollywood version I would say the original film is a lot more scary and better well maid. The next two sequels to The Ring where also very good and no doubt will surpass The Ring 2 made by Hollywood but still it is a good film and will probably keep me up for at least a week. I think I will give The Ring 2 a chance and watch it at the cinema though.

I'll definitely go, the Ring was one of the few scary movies that made me actually shiver after the movie was over, which is quite an achievement since the usual horror movies scare me a second, but don't last. The Ring did that so I'm definitely going to see it.

I havn't seen the Ring yet. I don't watch alot of movies plus the people we usually watch loads of movies with live 1hr 30 mins away and we have not seen them much latley so we missed out there. I just might have to watch it so i can see the 2nd 1 wit them.

The Ring was one of the first movies that actually scared me. (Maybe not scare as much as startle and freak me out!) I'm not going to say specifically what, because someone already said that they hadn't seen it yet.... But we were watching it at my friend's house and I was so startled/scared that I yelled a profanity that her brother heard and woke him up. (We were in the basement, he was on the 2nd floor).
But I really want to see the Ring 2. I don't know if I'll see it in theatres or wait until it comes out on video, but either way I'm gonna see it!

I'm definitely going to see the Ring 2. The first Ring was the only horror movie that really dug itself into my mind, and I'm hoping the sequel will do the same.
Here's the official website (http://www.ring2-themovie.com/) if anyone is interested.

The Ring really scared me. I'm not a fan of scary movies, but I will definitely be seeing The Ring 2. Hopefully it will be just as good.

No, I liked the original Ringu better. These American remakes never translate over well.

Oh Yah! I'm definitely going to see it! The Ring was, for lack of a better word, the biz-omb. I think that covers it.

I guess I will see it. I both want to, and don't want to. I am scared SOOOOO easily (really, it's quite pathetic :p). I saw the first The Ring on a movie night at my college dorm. EVerybody I had talked to beforehand thought it was SOOO scary and lots t hought it was the scariest movie they had ever seen. But perhaps it was built up too much in my mind, cuz I wasn't that scared. I mean, I sure was scared, but I dunno....I suspect that perhaps my not being scared as much as I thought I would be, has to do with the fact that I didn't see a lot of the movie--my hands were covering my eyes.
If I do see the 2nd one, I am DEFinitely going to see it with my boyfriend, and I will drive him crazy with covering my eyes and grabbing his hand like a vice. I dunno if I could see it in the theatre though. :scared:

No, no, and no. Before The Ring decided to scare the living **** out of me a couple years ago, I used to love scary movies. I would git a bit freaked sometimes, but not really hardcore scared. Then I saw the Ring. Sweet heavens, I've never been so scared in my entire life, nearly put me off scary movies for good! Just recently I've taken to liking them again, but I stayed far, far away from the Grudge (and Ju-on) and you can bet I'm staying away from Ringu, Ring 2, or Ring 50! This little cookie has been put off of Japanese scary movies and their remakes.
