What magical item would you like to own?

I would want a pocket Pensieve. I always seem to come up with story ideas when I am away from the coputer or don't have a pen. This way I could just take the idea out and store it for later. :D

I agree with Cho, a time-tunner would be my top choice. Many times a day I wish to myself I would have done or handled something differenty. And with a time turner that would all be possible.

However a pen like Rita Skeeter's would be very nice too. (except it wouldn't stretch the truth) No more book reports for me! I would just let the pen do all the thinking! ;)

I would have to agree, the pensieve was the best item so far. I'm always wanting to jot down everything, maybe if I could have one in my car or the shower or at work... then I could just transfer the memories onto my comp. :)

That locked case was awesome too - I would be able to fill the darn thing up in a minute, but it'd save me about 200$ a month in storage fees!!

A wand would be nice, but I don't even wear a watch - I don't think much of where to put it. Unless I was pretentious enough to wear robes all day... A robe with tons of magical pockets rather like how Hagrid's coat and clothing seems to work (ick) would be great too.

As for a broom... um, well, I'm afraid of heights really, so I'd rather enchant a snowboard or something similar and have two feet on something. (I've got an rpg character with that attitude too, surfing on a broomstick ala the scene in the movie's quidditch match!)

I'd love to have a real familiar too - I don't know if I'd warrant a phoenix but man they're useful aren't they?

I would love to own an assortment of magical items! I think a Pensieve would be good. Sometimes I have so many thoughts racing in my head that it's frustrating! I would definatly want to own a broom...the best one of course. I've always thought it would be extremly fun to fly. By the descriptions of how the best brooms work, it would be exciting to be able to fly forward really fast, dive and soar back up within a matter of seconds. It would also save TONS of money since the gas prices are up so much now. I could then get to my photo assignments and back again in no time at all. I just home they wouldn't mind my hair being messy! I know, I'm being practical with the use, but that's just me!

I have to agree with Avalon... there are so many things I wish I could put right. I'm sure I'd probably end up doing more damage, but the idea is so appealing, isn't it?

But if I had to pick only one, I'd probably pick a wand... I could do far more with it (although it might be difficult without magical ability :)). It seems to me like it might be the wisest choice, however... just because so many practical and useful things can be done with it. Also, I'd be far less likely to screw up than with the Time Turner... a wand seems far safer :)
