hi everyone! i was wondering what draws you towards your crush, boyfriend, or girlfriend?
i have two crushes...one is really great friend of mine who found out i liked him already, but he's so nice and caring...and he doesn' treat me like a little kid.(he's 3yrs older than me)
and the other crush is..well....i don't want to say the name...i think it might be too embarressing for him..he's a professor on CoS...but he seems like a great guy and all. he has the same intersts as me and same age, i would love to get to know him better. :)

Let's see. There's this 7th grade science teacher in my school...his last name should be Campbells because he's mm, mm, good ;D.
And then, there's this other guy, I really didn't get his name cos he was with his cousins and they all started playing mind games on me; His name is either Rodrigo or Elias. A crush on a CoS professor? :wow: Who could possibly like anyone of them? Just kidding guys. ;) Well I don't really have too many crushes. I did when I was younger but now I really just have guy friends. I guess I could say I have a crush on one of my guy friends, Andrew, but he's my ex boyfriend and I doubt he'll be more than a friend, at least no time in the near future. I've never been able to really grow out of having crushes on certain people. :D It's something that comes a wee bit naturally to me. I have guy friends, but I generally keep them totally separate from crushes. I used to have a horrible crush on a guy co-worker who also happened to be my best guy friend at the time. It never went anywhere, but he was always a wonderful person to be around. I have a horrible habit of getting crushes on professors. Right now, I have a very small crush on this professor I've had for the past two semesters (and again this semester). He's young, cute, and we're really great friends. He treats me like a buddy he loves talking to instead of just another nameless student. I've also had crushes on two professors in the past. :o How embarrassing.

After that whole long story, I saved my biggest crush for the last. I've had a crush on this guy for the past two semesters. He's in the same major as me, and we were always flirting and complimenting one another. He's been in 3 or 4 of my classes. It's one of the big regrets of my life that I never actually went out with him. We were both simply too shy. Now I don't have him in any classes, and I really do miss seeing him. That situation taught me that if you have a crush on someone who actually likes you back, you need to just take the chance and ask him out. It'd be worth it. :(

What drew me to my boyfriend? That's a hard question. I suppose it was because he treated me like the person that I am and didn't expect me to change just to impress him. Also, when I first met him, he had the aura of someone that needed someone to care about him. I'm not saying that I looked at him as an experiment, because I didn't. It just took me a while to get him to open up is all. By becoming friends with him opened another view of him. Now that I know him better then just first impressions, the answer to being drawn to him is different. Will happen in all relationships or crushes.

I have a crush on this guy in my Physics class. He just seems like the greatest guy -- he's funny and very witty, he's extremely smart, and he's attractive as well (at least in my opinion). I'm sure other people have crushes on him as well, though, because he's got a lot of female friends, and I always see him talking to girls.


I also still have a slight crush on my AWW (Advanced Writing Workshop) teacher. He's brilliant, and the most articulate man I've ever met. He's pretty attractive, too -- he's into rowing, so he has very nice, strong arms.

He's the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen. He made our school's varsity soccer team last year as a freshman. He's in my Spanish III class. I've been in an all-girl school during 6 years , now in lycée there are boys but not much because the lycée hasn't been mixed for a long time . Oh yes... I have a crush. I can't stop writing his name everywhere so I'll write it for you : Peer Kristian Günther . Hehe... he's in the 13th grade and will graduate this summer... Well, the last major crush I had, needless to say, broke my heart, and I hav been crushless for a couple months now. But I do have to say, tat once you fall really hard for someone, and write their names over and over and over in a notebook, you will almost always have at least, the tiniest feelings for him/her.

I admit, I've only had one real crush in my life(course I'm 11 so...) :o I have a crush on this guy who (used) to be in my Tae-kwon-do class(Same age, goes to a different school, grade lower then me.. (Now he's in the next class up :() He's really nice, funny, cute, he talked to me in class at least once, he's helped me, and congratulated me when I did something good. :crush:

E.G. I was my crush's partner for sparring/free kicking. Who ever kicked the other person first one. He, of course being a belt higher then me, got me, but he said I did really good. :crush:

The only problem is, on my birthday party, me and my friends went to the roller rink(mwee!) and he was there. He said 'hey' to me, then acted like a complete jerk, showing off to everybody, ect. ect. ARGH! But when I went to the next Tae-kwon-do class, I couldn't hate him! *ahem*

I'm not sure about my feelings toward one guy. I completely, utterly hate him out of every single guy in my grade(who are all idiotic retarded jerks). As I said, I hate him, but he can be really kind sometimes. And we have some of the same interests! I keep wanting to hate him, but that 'other conciesness(sp?)' keeps bugging me saying I like him! ARGH! He might like me anyway since one, he's actually been nice to me and I've never seen him nice to any other girl except my ex-friend and her group. He also keeps saying that I'm an Einstein, stupid, ect. ect. GAH!

I have a funny story. I was sitting in the green room (hang out of thespians on campus) and I was doodling on my notebook. I decided to write Dhani with a big heart dotted on the i and a "I heart dhani" doodle. My friend came in and asked who Dhani was (my real crush was in the room listening), and I just said, "oh just some guy I met over the weekend." Then I looked up at the crush in question and he looked interested in finding out who Dhani was. I could just be paraniod but it still made me feel pretty darn cool!

I'm so glad I have a place to come to talk about things like this. I went to see a show tonight that my secret crush was in. Just happened to be the lead. He just happens to have the most magnificent voice. And he takes he's shirt off :elaugh: . I even went with my friend Mike to play up the jealously card but what good did that do? He was in the show so he didn't see me with him. And I got really nervous because at intermission his mom came and sat by me. I really wanted to talk to her but I didn't know what to say. I almost offered her a cookie but then I thought better of it. After the show I made sure I went up to him to tell him what I good job he did. He smelt so nice. And we touched (hugged)..I can still feel him. I got it bad.

Here's a sure way of asking him out without looking like a fool, Silk E. (if you are friendly with him it should work) Ask if he wants to do something as friends. If he says no, then you don't have to look like a fool in getting rejected. I did that with my boyfriend. I felt like such a fool in even asking, but it's worth it. From a guys perspective and from experience I can say that you should ask him out because if he is worth your time as you say he is then surely he would either say yes or put you down in a way where you still a) feel good about yourself and b) remain friends. Most guys get such a shock (I know I do) when they get asked out that they are likely to say yes before they even know what they doing...and once your on the date Silk E anything can happen :)

Aw, Hproks, I know how that goes. :( I'd like to think I'm a quite the catch too and that he secretly wants me but he's had 3 years. Maybe I am going to have to make this first move. Good ideas Penelope and Picko. Saturday we will possibly be at the same party. If not, maybe next week I try to go get lunch with him. It's hard making that move because he openly invites everyone in the room to go with him to get something for lunch and I never go. Maybe I can braven up a bit. I don't know. Edit: I didn't really know my crush that well either when I first started liking him. I admired from afar. It took me a long time to build up the courage to even talk to him. I found it was easier to make friends with his friends and then it would be easier to befriend him since we run in the same circle now. I'm here! I've been very busy the last few days and I have a couple of updates on this crush business. First of all, whats all this picko talk? Picko and I are simply friends. Okay, and now for that update I promised and I know everyone has just been dying to read. So Thursday is the big going out night in my town. Well I couldn't go out because I had a big project due early Friday morning. So I was at my cousin's house (she's in the same class so we were going to work on it together). Well her roommate comes home from the bar and he's alone at first. But then maybe 5 minutes later, people start showing up. I'm talk about 30 or so people. Let's not forget that I wasn't expecting people over so I looked throwed. My hair was all up messy and I was in my pajamas. Well in comes my crush. Oh and lets not forget I was making brownies and I was planning on scarffing them down. I ended up serving them all to everyone else and I didn't even get one. But that's not the point. What I'm getting at is we were all talking about favorite movies and that was also the night that Harry Potter went on sale at midnight at Hastings. My friend Nick walks in and yells "Guess who just bought Harry Potter?" So I yelled across the room for him to bring it in and lets watch it. Well my crush makes a face like :rasp: and this is after we were watching something about the 80s on VH1 and i changed it and he made me change it back. I thought that was rude since it's not his house and he's telling me what to do. But back to the Harry Potter face making. I asked him why he didn't like it and he said it just wasn't good to him. I asked if he'd seen the movies, he said yes. I asked if he's read the books and he said no...he said he doens't read. BLASPHEMY!!! So I didn't give up just yet. I told him to go buy it on audio and he just smiled. He couldn't beat me on that one. But how can I love a man that a) doesn't like Harry Potter and b) doesn't read. I don't even think his singing voice can get him out of this hot water. And then yesterday I saw him and I asked how he was and he just said "okay" and then went back to his homework. I felt ignored so I just got up and left. Now he's on a plane to washington. I miss him.

HpRoKs, how old is this boy and his friend? I know what you mean though, it's risky to be seen talking to someone at that age. But at the same time, if you just risk it and decide you don't care about what people say, you are more than likely to get what you want more often. I think I was about 13 when I finally realized I didn't care about what other people thought and I had a better time in school because of it. It's only when I do act insecure (like now with this guy) that I'm miserable.

Ah...being 11 it was about the first time a girl showed any interest in me, this girl and her best friend just rocked up at my place to see me. I remember being so embarassed :D That said she was pretty cute if I remember correctly :D

Okay, so here we go. I'm a member of the Color Guard at my high school. I see the band people everyday, and during first semester, for hours at a time afterschool. I tend to start crushes. Not one, not two, but usually in large numbers. Me and my friends started this joke about Cheesecake back in the day (a couple years ago at band camp, and don't get me started). We began the Cheesecake Hall of Fame, consisting of guys in the marching band I like. Here we go:

#2: A fellow Potterhead, but avoids me now.
#3: Said to be the hottes guy in band. Also the "new guy." He's still up there.
#4: Has a girlfriend, but he's going towards the GQ model look. Abercrombie hair. *sigh*
#5: He was in one of my dreams. No details need to be said. Eh, so let's not talk about him.
#6: This dude I really, really liked. But at least we're still friends after I spilled everything.

OMG!:wow: Today, I was walking into ther cafeteria
with my friend lets call her Betty(her real name isn't Betty.) I was talking to her about Batman(I like Batman she doesn't so I was explaining to her Batman.) Anyway, the table where my crush sits let's call my crush Drew(his name isn't Drew) is right next to the door you walk into to the cafeteria. He must've saw us talking from the corner of his eye and he turned around as glance then watched us go farther away then went back to talking with his friends!:wow: I knew that wasn't because we were loud which we weren't! It was because he knew we liked him!


To explain this further and NOT as a silly little girl reaction I'll tell you why I think this way and Betty believes me, too.

3 months before this Betty and I had code names for Drew and his friends so we can talk about them without any1 knowing who these people are. So sometimes when we slipped and said clues. You must understand that we talked about this between classes, getting our stuff at the lockers, and in the cafeteria. Everywhere except the cafeteria is where he and his friends could hear and see us. Now, one day I was getting a strange freaked out that feeling Drew and his firends were intentually avoiding Betty and I. It was so obivious that I could see it. Then, at the lockers waiting for Betty to hurry up I said "I freaking out Betty, they know, they know!":scared: We decided to not have the code names and just talk on the phone.


A week ago Betty got teamed up with Drew on something in her music class. She didn't flirt 'cause she knew I REALLY like him. Anyway, she was doing her work when this girl gave him a note. The girl told Betty later that on the note said that two people like Drew. He had crumbled up the note after reading it and looked directly at her!:wow:





That is why my conclusion is that he knows we like him. I need advice and SOON!

Okay don't panic. The first thing to remember is to remain calm!! Now I just so happen to be an expert on boys at this age (I have a nephew and he emails me about girls everyday). He's giving you attention which is the go ahead for you to do something. He probably doesn't know what else to do but stare to get your attention. He wants you to react. He's past the stage where he's going to pick on you to show he likes you but he hasn't quite got to the stage where he's comfortable just walking up to a girl and openly showing how he feels. Now don't be afraid of him knowing that you like him because it's flattering and it makes him feel good about himself and boys like that. The whole balling up the paper in front of your friend is classic boy behavior. He was embarassed and didn't want to show it. The good thing about that is that it was someone else, not you or your friend that embarassed him so he wouldn't be mad at either of you. It didn't mean that he doesn't like you or your friend for that matter. So this is what I suggest, go to lunch tomorrow prepare for another stare down. It might happen, it might not. But be ready for it. When your eyes lock, don't be the first to look away. I know it's hard but you have to show dominance. Remember to be smiling and looking pleasant and not like you want to eat him for lunch. If he doesn't say anything then you will have to be the first to speak. It's hard the first time but trust me it gets easier. So you walk on up to him and ask him if needed something. You can get one of 2 responses. Either he will say "yes, I want your phone number will you marry me?" or he will say "no." Chances are he will say no. You are now in control of the situation though. You can continue the conversation. If you and your friend are having a "disagreement" about whether Scooby doo looked too animated in the movie or not, then while you are standing near him, ask him what he and his friends think about it. I have to go to class now, but I'll be back if you need more ideas.
