Re: The Second Task: Entries Only - members who DID enter the first task
I'm afraid life has caught up with me, but I really don't want to be out of the Tournament just for not entering. So here's a quick one:
________________________________
The mist had curled and settled sadly,
A ghostly shade across the water,
When from the depths of deepening forest,
A centaur cried for the Merchief's daughter.
With breaking heart he tore up the shore,
Beating the turf with galloping hoof,
From the trees his herd were watching,
But kept their distance, ever aloof.
Never again would he see her face,
Her bubbling laughter and fins like lace,
For he who lives above the water,
Should never have loved the Merchief's daughter.
