I agree about the Buckbeak scene in PoA. I think that Cuaron actually made better use of him than JKR did. It was a great way of letting the audience know that Buckbeak wasn't the vicious creature the Malfoys were making him out to be.

I thought that the dementors were pretty much like the way they were described in the books, although I did really like the fact that they were able to fly.

The turning of the third task in GoF into a psychological test of sorts was a great idea and far more effective than it would have been if they had left it the way it was described in the book. Very atmospheric and very creepy.
