My target is 50 too. I managed to read 45 books last year and 44 the year before, so 50 might be reachable for me. I used to want to hit the 100 mark, but a) that started making me feel 'forced' to read, as a result of which I didn't really enjoy some of the books and b) work always gets in the way.

I'm looking forward to discovering excellent new authors and great books this year. Goodreads is so helpful in keeping track of what you're reading, what you've read and what you want to read. Plus, I love creating new shelves and picking the right shelves for books It's like my own private book database
