As you know, Molly was good enough to write a How-To book (proceeds going to the charity of course), so that will help out anyone wanting to contribute.

I'm sure the quality of all the knitted goods would be looked over by those in charge before anything was sent out to a needy child.

It would be cruel indeed to give an already bereft child something that wasn't well-made. That would defeat the spirit of the charity, wouldn't it?

As for your picture, I don't recall that Hermione's knitting abilities were ever in question, anyway. From her, we learn that witches can create several garments at one time, which means that those involved in A Jumper for Every Child can produce alot with little effort. Also, even wizards learn to knit - Charlie Weasley and Hagrid for instance - and they are welcome to donate to our charity.

Re: Severus Snape / Molly Weasley: Getting The Job Done- Always

This is a letter that the campaign recieved from a little girl who recieved one of the jumpers:

Dear Snape/Weasley Campaign,

Thank you so much for the wonderful jumper. I think it is really nice, warm, and very pretty! It was so nice that your campaign decided to knit these jumpers for charity. I'm sure they will help a lot. My family is not as fortunate as others and my parents thank you as well. They're even considering you for Minister. If I could vote I think I would vote for you because everyone on your campaign seems so nice and generous. We need people like you to run our country. So thank you again for the beautiful jumper and good luck with your campaign.

Sincerly,
A Warm Heart

PureBloodGirl: That is such a sweet letter!

It's so wonderful to think that our charity could make a needy child so happy.

I know. I was just looking through my pictures and thought of how Hermione's "hats" looked when she first started. She is of course much better now, but if you teach people to knit, I am sure you would get more vollenteers than if you just look for those who already know how.

hehe.... totally true about Hermione.

Yes, she does maintain that she has got better at magical knitting since, but not having see any of her recent creations I wonder whether she lives up to Molly Weasley standards - but then, who does?

Dear ladies of the Witches Institute,

Severus and I are extremely hearted to receive your letter of support for our Sponsored Knitting Bees. We are deeply moved to hear that many members of WI are in the process of knitting jumpers, blankets, hats and a varity of other clothes and accessories to provide for these dear children.

Recently 'A Jumper for Every Child' has received multiple letters from kids and family members who have expressed their thanks for everyones assistance and the lovely quality of the gifts. I wished to forward this news, as WI and their sponsers are working so hard to assist our organisation. That we are making positive steps in helping the children and family members experience warmth, and above all, hope and a feeling of being loved and accepted in our community.

With very best wishes,

Molly Weasley and Severus Snape.

Re: Severus Snape / Molly Weasley: Getting The Job Done- Always

My Dear Severus,

How delightful to hear from you, and what an amazing coincidence! It so happens that yesterday I spoke of you in a conversation with Mrs. Abernathy-Burke. She is, as of course you know, the current President of the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers. Such a talented woman, and most sociable too. She frequently arranges for me to speak at the Society’s annual conference, which this year was held in Budapest. She had invited me along with a select group of attendees to most delightful little restaurant that could be imagined, with a fine view of the Danube and a Tokaj on their wine list that may be the choicest dessert wine I have tasted. I plan to visit the vineyard before heading back to England to obtain a case, I think it will go smashingly with crystallized pineapple.

“I taught Severus Snape, you know,” I told her. “He is a first-rate mind, a deep and creative thinker. I always knew that boy would go far. His recent book is most impressive, particularly the exposition of theory and how it affects the choice of ingredient and stirring technique.”

But enough about me, my dear fellow! I know you want my opinion on your campaign! Indeed, the same creativity I mentioned to an august group of international potioneers is on display in your educational programme:

These are capital ideas, Severus! It is never too early to start forging connections, I always say. And the Muggleborns are at a disadvantage in this, though you and I both know, of course, that great witches and wizards have come from that background.

Brilliant idea, this! Minister Andras Babai, a real up and comer in the Hungarian Ministry and my dear friend, heads the Hungarian Department for the Regulation and Promotion of Magical Research. He gave the welcoming address at the conference. We chatted at teatime later that day, and he was lamenting the dearth of opportunities for international collaboration by Wizarding scholars. Your proposed University, in additional to the valuable educational opportunities it would afford to students, would serve as an ongoing center for such activities.

I wish you the best in your campaign. Do pass on my regards to the delightful Molly Weasley, as well.

Yours sincerely,

Prof. H. E. F. Slughorn, Ret.

Hello, Professor Slughorn! It does sound like your recent trip was a pleasant one. I do hoe the journey back was not too difficult.

Hello Professor Slughorn! It sounds like you had a lovely trip and some nice meetings with Mrs. Abernathy-Burke and Minister Andras Babai. Crystallized pineapple sounds really tasty!

Hi team! Molly is busy on the campaign trail, attending a rally at Diagon Alley (hey, that rhymed! ). Here, however, is something she forwarded to us from a friend:

A bunch of Celestina lyrics! YAY!

This election season definitely needed more Celestina Warbeck!

Thank you, FleurduJardin! Klio, I am glad you enjoyed Celestina's lyrics. That is of course the refrain of her new song.

I have some good news for the "Jumper" volunteers! Professor Snape's book has received an endoresement which can be expected to help "A Jumper for Every Child" by boosting the long-term sales of his book.

Dear Professor Snape,

At the recent Annual Meeting of the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers in Budapest, I had the pleasure of dining with our mutual acquaintance, Professor Horace Slughorn. In the course of our conversation, he recommended to me your recent publication, “On Potions-Making”. Being well aware of the professor’s nose for talent, I made a point of visiting Flourish and Blotts to examine this book myself upon my return to England.

The book indeed lives up to its billing. I was favorably impressed by it, and recommended it to our Subcommittee for Education for review. They have decided to designate it a “recommended supplement” for students preparing for the Potions NEWT. The chair of that subcommittee, Mr. Arsenius Jigger, has contacted your publisher with the news.

I offer my congratulations on an excellent contribution to Potioneering.

Yours sincerely,

Sophia Abernathy-Burke
President,
Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers

Probably not in Fleur's opinion...

Great work, all members of the Snape/Molly campaign. It is nice to see such an active role in your charity.

And it's lovely for it to be recognised. Thank you for your very kind comments! Your own campaign did wonderfully in this task, and rightly so.

Edit: Annie, wow! We posted at almost the same time! Weird!
