Maybe he's not buried, his body preserved somewhere for "scientific examination". Surely not many people got new bodies through that horrible ceremony like him. It would be interesting to see how this new bodies differ from natural bodies.

Probably they will find nuts and bolts because the technique was a developed version of Frankenstein's.

I never really thought about it. I don't think LV would have had a last will explaining what to do with his body, so I think he was buried.
