Just a little thing that popped in my head as a walked home from school.


It is 13 years after the Battle of Hogwarts.
The school is in ruins.
The students have fled.
The Forbidden Forest is burning.
Masked figures strut around the courtyard, occasionally firing spells at random places.
A lone man moves forward and fires a green blast of light into the air that twists and curls to form a green smoke snake.
The masked people move to form a circle around him.
They slowly remove their masks and pull down their hoods.
They chant foreign words over and over again.
A young girl runs across the courtyard, in a last ditch attempt for freedom. One of the men turns round and shouts.
The girl falls, dead.
It is 13 years after the Battle of Hogwarts.
The Death eaters have returned to avenge their master.
Well, they do say 13 is an unlucky number.
