The Prodigy

Is anybody here a fan of the UK-based band The Prodigy-im not from the uk myself though just thought id start this thread since im a member of a forum in which most people are from the UK.....and that im going to get a bit more replies than usual.

Anyway ive got a couple of their albums:
Always Outnumbered.....
Star Profile
Their Law(Singles 1990-2005)

My favourite songs include smack my ***** up, hotride, spitfire, wake up call and you will be under my wheels+serial thrilla.

Remember, I'm not a hardcore fan or fanatic of Prodigy-just a mildly interested listener. Don't know about you guys though.......

I have heard of them, I can't say I am a big fan but there songs are still really cool! They are the master of techno!!! I love listening to them (when I listen to them) because they are so different and unique from the other techno music!

Re: The Prodigy

I love some of their songs, they're pretty impressive. I used to babysit a 3-year old who was obsessed with their songs, she'd play their cd's over & over again! But she's a bit of a hyper child (in a good way!). It was really funny to watch her jumping all over the place to firestarter!!!

Re: The Prodigy

I didn't know that the band still exists. In my youth *cough* I absolutely loved them and had their albums, Experience and Music for the Jilted Generation. They were absolute genius. Can't quite decide for a favourite song though. I loved 'Break&Enter' and 'No Good' very much, and 'Fire'. But I rather listened to the albums as such, not for one particular song. I wonder what happened to the records, now that I think about it... Must have lost them when moving house - or lent them to someone who never gave them back...

I've only ever heard Omen, but that song's pretty good. Very fast and fun.

Totally agree with you there, and in fact I would rank Experience as being one of my top two albums of all time. I've seen them live twice and they were amazing both times.
