All Things Apple

This thread is dedicated to Apple products Is anyone excited for iPhone 4? Are you planning to purchase it? Will you stand in line? I want one because it'll be nice to compress everything in one (my music & videos from my iPod, calendar, etc). It sucks that AT&T doesn't offer unlimited data though :/

I have the MacBook that looks like the MacBook Pro that I purchased in 2008, but I don't see these types of MacBooks I have on their site anymore. When did they discontinue this product?

I'm keen to see Apple put the iPhone 4 operating system on an iPad, then I might buy one, but I can't say I'm overly excited about it. When was your MacBook discontinued? It is just rebadged as a MacBook Pro, that's the only difference.

Re: All Things Apple

Some people claim you need to use a Bumper or case in order to stave off any antenna issue. That’s not the reason I chose to use this particular protection on my iPhone. It snaps on quite easily, and protects the perimeter perfectly. It will protect the device from scratches and scuffs on the side, and doesn’t add much thickness to it.

Re: All Things Apple

So I purchased the iPhone & after a week of using it, I returned it. The call volume is a nightmare! I had to put it on speaker just so I can hear the other person. Also, I just didn't feel it kept my life organized like my BlackBerry did. IMO, the iPhone looks suave & sexy, but it's all smoke & mirrors.

I have Apple laptop and also Apple iPhone. Apple gives best quality of products and also the best services for them. I like Apple because of its ready to serve pattern of services. Whenever I have any problem with my any product I just contact them and they provide service within few hours.

Re: All Things Apple

I bought an iPhone 4! I only had it a month or two before I sold it though! I qued up early in the morning to get it. I think I was in the first 20-30 people to buy one from the store in my city. I sold it because of the antenna problems. I bought an Android phone and I had planned to use the Android until the iPhone 5 coming out this year but it gave up the ghost. I now have a Blackberry Bold 9780 instead of waiting for the iPhone 5. I'll keep this phone until iPhone 6! If this Blackberry breaks between now and then, I'll just use my old Nokia 3310 instead of buying a new phone haha.

I also have an iPad 16GB Wi-Fi only (first gen!) which I love! The iPad 2 looks cool, but I can't justify paying £500+ for just a spec bump and slight redesign. iPad 3 however...I might buy that

I have a Macbook from late '08. Unibody Aluminium. 13" screen. 2.4GHZ/4GB RAM/250GB Storage. Now you can only get a Macbook with 13" in the plastic unibody. the 13" unibody aluminum has now been changed to Macbook Pro. So having a unibody aluminum MACBOOK 13" makes it kind of a collector edition I believe this model was only available for 6 months.

I have an iphone4 and I haven't had any problems so far (fingers crossed). I just got an ipad2. My sister and I got one for our mom and she loves it; after playing with hers I decided to buy one. I also have a refurbished MacBook I got a few years ago. My first iPhone is what converted me to apple. The products are pricey but the support and design are fantastic.

Re: All Things Apple

I have a 4 or 5 yr old macbook. I love it, but it's getting time for a new one. My macbook is getting soooo sloooooowwwww.. I would love to have a new iphone, but I'll wait untill the iphone 5 is released. I'm hoping the iphone4 will be cheaper once the iphone5 is out.

If you deal with the service department often enough to determine a pattern then the quality of the product is clearly rubbish. I've only had one problem with my current laptop (which was not related to the build but an issue with non-MS software) and none with my phone so I have idea about the after-sales care because I've never needed it.

Re: All Things Apple

Does anyone have any tips for the following problem?

I would really like to put my LotR audiobook on my ipod but I can't seem to develop a system where all the chapters stay in the right order and while at the same time doesn't confuse me too much.

Re: All Things Apple

does anyone here work at an Apple store? I'm thinking of applying to one and would like to know how much they train you when you first start.
