Miranda Richardson as Rita Skeeter was probably the most well-played "nasty" female role in the movie, next to Umbridge played by Imelda Staunton. Personally, I think that no one else could have played Rita as accurately as Miranda did. ^^

She did a great job as Rita in GoF, but she basically disappears halfway though the movie. I wish they would have made her role more important. And it would have been nice to see her in OotP to help establish the Quibbler better in the films.

It's actually really creepy how much the Rita in my head matched the movie Rita. She is one of the few characters that matched the exact image in my head. The acting was done very well too.
