I loved tonight's episode!

I thought Alison Brie (Annie) was spot-on! She made the episode for me Definitely one of my favorites for this season.

Oh, and I think there's one more episode left, the Christmas special, before the hiatus Why, NBC??

I couldn't watch it! NBC was out on DirecTV for 24 hours! It came back on in the middle of Parks and Rec.

Next week's episode looks good! I was skeptical at first because it was "musical themed", but the reviews have got me excited:

On a television show about television shows, what else could a musical episode be about other than that singing, tapping, faux-rapping phenomenon Glee? This Christmas special and pitch-perfect parody does not disappoint. When Greendale's glee club it shut down for copyright infringement before their holiday show, the study group is targeted as their replacement, one by one succumbing to finger-snapping spirit that spreads like some irony-obliterating virus.

The original songs are downright hilarious - especially Alison Brie's breathy-sexpot baby-talking jingle - and there are some choice broadsides at the Fox series, like jokes about the blatant MacGuffinism of regionals and Jeff's observation that "not liking glee club doesn't make us bullies, and implying that is reverse bullying." Where or not you think it's warranted, the lampooning is spot-on and made all better by the fact that it's done so, well, gleefully.

I know it's sad, it's also a double whammy for me because Bones goes on hiatus after tonight too but at least I know when it comes back.

It's not much, but TV by the Numbers, which has a great track record on their predictions, and have crunched the numbers, upgraded Community to 'likely to be renewed'

Did everyone see that Jim Rash (Dean Pelton) won an Oscar last night? And mocked Angelina Jolie's ridiculous pose at the same time?

You ever have that experience of hearing something that you feel like you already know, but still reacting like, "Oh, I didn't know that!" That just happened to me. I did not know or remember that Jim Rash plays Dean Pelton. I did watch the Oscars, and did see that. So now the cast of Community includes an Oscar winner!

Something similar happened to me while watching. I knew that "Dean Pelton" was nominated for an Oscar, but I guess I had forgotten about it. Then when I saw some guy mimicking Angie's pose, I was like, "That's hilarious! . . . Wait! That's the Dean!"

I'm so glad "Dean Pelton" won the Oscar! Not only because he deserved it, but it could also get some much needed love for Community

Yes, I loved Jim's pose! I was hoping that they could somehow slip a little joke about his award in the later half of S3 (maybe Jeff says something like "As if we'd have an Academy Award winner here at this school shaped toilet" and the dean, in total dean-style, pops in with "Helll-lo!"

Or maybe we get to see a finished draft/screenplay of Time Desk: The Chronicles of Dean Dangerous But they finished filming S3 way before the awards, so it's probably too late now.

Yeah, I watched the Soup because Joel tweeted about the trailer being on the show.

The trailer was simply amazing (and chock full of spoilers)

I couldn't believe all the new clips they showed. Talk about a trailer to get Community fans excited about the show again.
