Re: Your current read v6
Veery good, all of you good people!
I have been reading several books lately and as usual. Finally managed to force my self to the intro of a Deepak Chopra's book and it is not half so bad. I am very willing to continue reading it. In our recent Sicily vacation i was forced to read a modern historical sentimental novel Painting Mona Lisa. At some point through our years of travelling with my hubby I've stopped taking books with me and chose to be surprised by the hostel oder hotel's library, which could be unusually good. In the novel interesting was the point of view it was written from. First person narrator ist Madonna Lisa, Monna Lisa from the early age of 10 until well into her thirties. The plot seems somewhat predictable and LEONARDO plays just a side-role in it, which also gets quite hurried up and slopped over at the end. Nevertheless, anyway rainy day in Sicily worth, it will save you a lot of cash, too Not that rainy days in Sicily are often at all..![]()

Re: Your current read v6
I'm reading A Feast for Crows by George R. R. Martin as well
I had a little break after reading A Storm of Swords because reading these books can be time consuming and I had a whole load of shorter books I wanted to read, but back into the series now ![]() |

Re: Your current read v6
Rereading the first Hitchhikers's Guide to the Galaxy. I find it much easier to read and understand when reading a hard copy versus my Kindle copy. Don't know why.
Also, rereading the Hunger Games to prepare for the movie.

The Well of Loneliness ~ Radclyffe Hall
Well, so far it conveys a certain loneliness and urgency and it's engaging. However, I'm not too keen on the rather crude reoccurring religious and pastoral references and imagery.

I've finished Deathly Hallows and Rage, so I've started A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Brugess and will start Bachman's next, The Long Walk.

Re: Your current read v6
After about a month of not even wanting to pick up my Kindle, I've given up on Le Mort d'Arthur and now I'm reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, which is infinitely more interesting already
