Re: Iron Maiden

Last week a friend at one of my jobs introduced me to this group, and I absolutely love the music. This is cool, because I mostly listen to orchestra pieces. After listening to that CD, I had Run to the Hills in my head for a whole day.

Bruce's voice is just awesome! I really like what I've heard of them

Me too.
Iron Maiden was my first metal band.
The first metal album I´ve ever bought: It was Somewhere in Time,
I still have the LP by the way (Long PLay, 80s record)

And I saw them live, Fear of the Dark Tour.
Well I have said this already.

Re: Iron Maiden

I've been listening them for seven years now, and this year they finally came to my country (Croatia), and I felt like I died and was reborn again that day. I still can't believe I've seen them.

First song was Aces High, and I couldn't move, nor sing, I just stared. XD

Re: Iron Maiden

I swear, if they come anywhere near Albuquerque, I will be there. I caught their Flight 666 movie on TV a couple of weeks ago. It was amazing! That was the first time I had ever seen them perform at all.

Flight 666 is probably one of the bests Iron Maiden Live Dvd's! And i appear a few seconds in the Chile airport screaming "Maiden Maiden" xD

Well, what can i say? Maiden is the band of my life, i've seen them in the last two shows here and they just blowed my mind away... i've seem a lot of shows in my life from a lot of diferent bands from diferents style's, but Maiden is unique!.

And after the last show this year, I met them in the hotel bar.... and believe me, talk with Bruce for 45 minutes was probably the most exciting experience of my life.

Re: Iron Maiden

Well, Iron Maiden has embarked on their Final Frontier tour. They started last week in Texas. Tonight, they are in my city of Albuquerque, NM. I will be there, and cannot wait for this!

Also have a new album coming out in August, The Final Frontier.

So I just listened to the leaked version of Final Frontier. What are everyone's opinions?

Re: Iron Maiden

I ordered my copy of The Final Frontier today, can't wait to listen to it and I found I cheap version of Killers today so I bought that too, great album so far.

I hate that every time Maiden comes to Sweden I'm out of money or something else gets in the way

If I have to buy only 2 of their albums, which ones should I buy?

Re: Iron Maiden

For me it would be Number of the Beast and either The Final Frontier/Dance of Death. I understand that their are a lot of good older stuff but I found them with the new stuff. Number of the Beast goes without saying though...

Re: Iron Maiden

And they just announced a 2012 North American Tour. Can't wait to see them again in Albuquerque in August. May fly or drive to Phoenix or Denver and see them there as well.

Re: Iron Maiden

Up the Irons.

I've loved Iron Maiden since Grade 10, which I have to admit was over ten years ago now. I missed their concert when they were in Toronto a few years back, but if they come back I shall definitely go.

Re: Iron Maiden

My personal 'all time' favourite band. I've actually got an Eddie tattoo :P I saw them live around 2006-07 and obviously they didn't disappoint. Definitely one of the most inspiration metal bands ever.
