1. If you could spend a day with any Harry Potter character who would you choose and why?
It's a tough one. I'd like to get inside Severus Snape's head, but at the same time, if it was only one day, I think it'd be better spent with Hermione Granger. I think she would be able to answer a lot of questions I would undoubtedly have, and she would be easy to talk to, even though it usually takes me a while to warm up to strangers. So in conclusion; Hermione, because it would be easy and informative.

2. Which Deathly Hallow would you choose?
I'm sure the cloak would be useful, but I'd probably go for the Elder wand, because its powerfulness is intriguing. I'd rather not have to kill someone for it, though! I'd probably try to win it in a less violent way. However, I don't think I'd start messing around with the DHs unless I was absolutely sure what I was dealing with.

3. Which magical pet would you bring with you to Hogwarts?
A cat, probably a black Maine Coon. I like cats. They are graceful and dignified animals, and I like the way they look, move, and sleep. I also identify with them because they lean towards solitude and like to watch the world in a sort of detached way, as if they don't really fit in properly, but at the same time just don't care whether they fit in or not.

4. What would be your favorite subject at Hogwarts?
Probably Charms. I think I'd find that subject very useful and interesting. Charms would make everyday life a lot easier, and you could keep learning or inventing new ones for every purpose you could think of. That would be challenging and amusing, I imagine. Especially with the help of the Elder Wand


5. If you could ask J.K. Rowling to write one thing what would it be?
Another story in the Harry Potter universe. I don't think she'd do it, fearing that the story could never live up the HP novels, but I think the universe is so great, creative and well thought through that it's almost a shame not to use it for more books. I find myself really missing the books and the universe JKR created now that the series is over.

6. Would you play Quidditch? If so which position?
I'd probably not play Quidditch, because I'm not into sports, and especially not anything involving teams. If I were a Quidditch player, I'd be a seeker, since that's the most solitary position, and I'd find that less horrible than having to be a true "team player" in a direct and confrontational way.


7. Which magical career would you choose?
I would probably be somewhere in the Ministry of Magic pushing paper, or teaching at Hogwarts. It would be a job where I could earn good money, but not have to risk my life, or put in an immense effort. I would have to feel that I was good at my job, and that I could earn respect among my peers, but not that my job would be my sole identity.

8. What would your patronus be?
I think it would be a feline of some sort.

9. Which magical place would you most like to visit?
Hogwarts. I would love to explore it and learn from it. I would also love to see a magical place in Scandinavia, since that's where I'm from.

10. Pick one house you would prefer not to be in.
I'll leave this one open.
