Congrats Leah!!! Great graphic and deserving win.

I'd also like to say thanks for everyone whose put so much into making this HWIMS thing happen and to everyone who has participated. I've been having one of the more difficult periods in my lifetime recently and this friendly contest has been one of my best sources of diversion and small delight. So, yeah, I'm grateful for you all.

I wish everyone a Happy Christmas and look forward to continuing COS fellowship in the new year.

Mine was the Snowman. I threw it togather last minute. I wanted to make sure that there were more than two entries, even if I was in last place.
The words were supposed to be distracting. Since you could take it two ways you really didn't know what you were getting and the highlighted words jump out over the rest. I probably would have changed it if I'd had more time and just made everything but the Santa, Snowman and Top Hat smaller. I also thought about makeing the text something like Warning: Top Hat is designed for Snowmen ONLY!

I forgot to vote again! I was laying in bed last night when I remembered. I think the deadline was over and I was too tired to look, but I really liked all the icons. They are very imaginative.

HOLIDAY WIMS WEEK 6 CHALLENGE: EVIL TWINS!!!

• CHALLENGE: Create TWO ICON SIZED GRAPHICS, ONE IN BLACK AND WHITE AND THE OTHER IN COLOR (you can use the same image if you like or two different images) - WITH A SCARY THEME - using all or part of ANY OR ALL OF the following original source images (the original hi resolution pictures can be found at the links under each of the pictures):

• THEME FOR THE WEEK:
  
  1. This round you must CREATE TWO IMAGES, ONE IN COLOR AND ONE IN BLACK AND WHITE! If you want, you can use the same image for both, just so that one is in color and the other in black and white - but you can also use two different images. You can use just one of the source images to create your icon images, or you can use elements from two or more of them!
  
  2. THE THEME THIS ROUND IS SCARY! Use your creativity and render the two icon sized graphics in a SCARY fashion!!! Now scary means different things to different people, so don't worry about what "Scary" means - just render the graphics so that they are SCARY to YOU!!
  
• DETAILS: You may add external images, words, textures, etc., to the source image or images. You can use one or more of the images and chop them up, rotate them, manipulate them with filters, effects and any other graphic program features you like. Bascially, you can render your graphic in any way you choose, using as much or as little of the original source image or images as you like. However, please keep in mind that the object is to use a part of the original source images in your graphic, so if people cannot see any of the source pictures, you may suffer for votes!
  
• SIZE REQUIREMENT: Both icons should be ICON Size (the small one): (from 100 wide x 100 high to 150 wide x 150 high. Any size within those constraints is fine.) That means EVERY SIDE must be a minimum of 100 pixels - and a maximum of 150 pixels. Any number between 100 and 150 pixels is fine.
  
• SPECIAL INFORMATION: NO animation allowed this round
  
• REMEMBER: all graphics should follow forum rules and regulations and be appropriate for all ages. Any graphic not meeting this criteria will be returned to the artist for revision.

haha! No! I had a season of computer issues and ended up buying a new computer. So now I am back and raring to go once more. I am going to make a concerted effort to get another entry for this final contest ! I really need one more entry in order for it to be a show!
