Drowsy Chaperone

I absolutely love this show. It's funny without being offensive or stupid. The humor is smart humor and the tap dancing! ah! I love the dancing. The show is sooooo brilliant! I saw the original cast last year and I desperatley want to see it again! I can't wait til' they go on tour next summer!

This looks really fun- wasn't someone in it playing Gilbert Blythe in the Anne of Green Gables miniseries?

I saw it in NY, not the original cast though, they had Joanne Worley in for Mrs. Tottendale, John Glover as Man in Chair, and Sutton Foster was gone by that time. But I still loved it immensely It's coming to San Francisco which is fantastic, but it's probably all sold out since we waited too long to get tickets...

YES! I saw it again when they came to salt lake. My sisters were freaking out when they saw who was playing 'man in chair'. we grew up on that show so we tagged him down at the stage doors.

Re: Drowsy Chaperone

It was the first show I ever saw when I went to NYC. I had the original cast though original was played by Aldofo understudy but he did great. When Bob Martin said the first line "I hate Theater" I knew right away I was going to love it. And I was right by the time the show was over. Ever since then I have always wanted to play the Man in the Chair because I can relate to his love of musical theater, and I love commenting on random trivia about certain musicals that I deeply love.

I love this show! I saw the National Tour a few years ago and had a great time. The cast was very sweet after the show.
