i actually didn't notice that until the 2nd time i saw the movie, but yes, i am very glad they included it otherwise it might've confused non-readers of the series when they show the trio breaking into Gringott's in the 2nd part when Hermione is disguised as Bellatrix.

as for myself, i just LOVED the fact that they showed us the three of them waking up at Grimmauld Place w/Hermione on the couch, Ron on the floor and the two of them sleeping with their hands positioned as if they had fallen asleep holding hands the night before....

I actually thought it worked better in the film than it did in the book where the tension between them is a result of the locket and hunger, which came across as a bit petty to me. Using the names of the dead gave the situation much more substance and the mission much more weight and purpose. Plus, it was a way of giving Ron a more dignified exit. It's not the hunger, it's the despair. A really under rated scene in my opinion.

Something in the book I'm glad they kept was Ron as Reg Cattermole worrying about his "wife".
Agree. It gives Ron more substance as you well say, better than getting angry because of lack of food. And Ron as Reg is also an inprovement, as it shows him as a caring individual, especially when he urges Mrs. Cattermole to get the kids and go into safety.

I also loved the way Hermione looks at Ron when Ron/Reg is being kissed. Love her expression.

Dobby and his shoes were great. I was really looking forward to seeing him in odd clothes, and even though it was just the shoes, it was perfect.

"I'm holey" definitely. I LOVED that line!
I also loved Ron yelling after Hermione while she was getting tortured. So sweet.

Obliviate.

Not only did they catch that extraordinary detail in that gigantic book, they opened with it.

I don't like all of Kloves' edits, but that was gorgeous.

ME TOO! I would've been upset if they left that out. Although, they did leave a lot of little things out, I thought. :/

This is one of my favourite moments in all 8 films!

When Harry saved Malfoy from the room of requirment in DH2.
I also always remember the introduction of the Invisibility cloak. It is such a small part of the first film, but when I was 11 and saw it for the first time, it amazed me.

I loved all the details of Dumbledore's office, the things scattered around that revealed his personality and interests and I liked that they didn't change it when Snape took over.

Are you sure? I thought I remembered the headmaster's office being stripped of Dumbledore's gadgets and being dark and gloomy, but I haven't watched the movie since last summer.

Now that I think of it, I'm probably getting my impression from Snape's memory when he's talking to Dumble but Harry does look into the pensieve in that room. Only one thing for it, I'll have to watch the film again.

That's right!! I wonder what room I'm thinking of or if it's just something I 'dreamed' up?!

We were both right. When Harry uses the office for Snape's memory, it's during the battle and it's all gloomy, dark and nothing like Dumbledore's but when he looks into the pensieve, it's still dark but there are points of light like the cabinet where Dumbledore kept Riddle's memory flasks.
I think this is why I enjoy watching the movies over again, always something slightly new.

Ron's line in DH2 after they save Malfoy, "If we die for them, Harry, I'm going to kill you!"

Haha, This line made me happy too. But I also liked in SS/PS the mirror of erised part, as well as wizard chess part (from what I remember)

The continuity of Ron touching Hermione's face. In HBP, he wipes away the toothpaste, points out the froth of the butterbeer and in DHs, he wipes the blood off after the fight in the cafe. Just small touches that keeps them connected.

Half-Blood Prince - In Hagrid's hut, when Harry has finally convinced Professor Slughorn to divulge the true memory of his conversation with a young Tom Riddle.

Slughorn lifts his wand to his temple and extracts the memory. As he moves the tip of his wand to the vial, his hand is shaking so much... and Harry reaches in to steady it as he lets the memory drop into the glass...

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes! It was just done so well for such a little scene in the movie.

The Weasley's clock! I wouldn't mind having one myself.
