1. If you could spend a day with any Harry Potter character who would you choose and why?
I would spend a day with Alastor Moody, followed by Albus Dumbledore. *I would have lots of questions for Dumbledore about his achievements and discoveries, but I think a conversation with Mad-Eye would be more entertaining, as I would enjoy hearing of his adventures of dark-wizard catching and hearing his slightly eccentric, paranoid, look on life. *Also, as crime and its cases/stories fascinates me in the Muggle world, I think I would be even more fascinated by stories of wizarding crime. *So, I would choose to spend a day with Mad-Eye Moody, so he could tell me stories, teach me how best to defend myself against the Dark Arts, and perhaps even tag along and see what a day in the life of being the most powerful Auror is like!

2. Which Deathly Hallow would you choose?
Invisibility cloak, for sure. *I don’t think it’s right to use the resurrection stone, as they do not become truly resurrected and I would think it impossible to be able to truly let go of someone and accept their passing if you can resurrect a form of them all the time. *The elder wand does not tempt me as I do not care if I am dramatically more powerful than others, and I wouldn’t want to attract trouble from assassins. My all time favorite power is invisibility, however, as I would welcome the ability to be able to sneak around and go places you wouldn’t be able to if you were visible. *Also, I would be curious to see what people say about me when I’m not there and would certainly use the Invisibility cloak to eavesdrop as well.

3. Which magical pet would you bring with you to Hogwarts?
I would bring an owl, because they seem the most useful and I could see having the closest bond with an owl. *I cannot see a practical use for a toad, nor striking up a very strong relationship with one, and I dislike the haughty vibe I get from most cats. * If I am going to bring my own magical pet to Hogwarts, I want to be able to have a loving relationship with it, and I have never felt fond of cats, nor have I ever met one that seemed fond of me.

4. What would be your favorite subject at Hogwarts?
Charms. *I’m clumsy at cooking, so I suspect I would be equally as successful at Potions, if I am going to a magic school, my favorite subject certainly won’t be one where I’m not actually doing magic (coughcoughHistoryofMagiccough), and I don’t see Transfiguration being as interesting or as useful as Charms. *Being able to unlock doors, summon things, and repair objects seems very useful and convenient. *I think I would also find Defense Against the Dark Arts fun, as it seems like a practical skill and I associate it with the tough/disciplined vibe I get from martial arts in the real world. *Also, I would get a real kick out of dueling my friends!

5. If you could ask J.K. Rowling to write one thing what would it be?
I would ask J.K. Rowling to write and publish a full version of Hogwarts: A History, as I would be intrigued to learn more secrets about the castle, its founders, see maps referencing secret passages, or maybe reveal more boggarts in Hogwarts’ closet like the Chamber of Secrets!

6. Would you play Quidditch? If so which position?

I would most definitely play Quidditch, as I enjoy anything where I am moving quickly and that gives me a bit of a rush. *As I am terrible at finding things and don’t have the physique for a Beater, being a Chaser really appeals to me. *I have good hand/eye coordination, and I would enjoy the teamwork with my fellow Chasers.

7. Which magical career would you choose?
I have no idea what career I want to pursue in the Muggle world, let alone the Wizarding World! *I would prefer to travel around a bit, see the world, discover what really interests/matters to me. *If it allowed me to travel, I might pursue a position in the Department of International Magical Cooperation, or a reporter for the Daily Prophet. Or, though I know virtually nothing about Arithmancy, it sounds very interesting, so I might take Arithmancy at Hogwarts, and if I was good at it, potentially become an Arithmancer. *It’s difficult to say, hard question! *Whatever I find myself passionate about?

8. What would your patronus be?
I think my patronus would be an armadillo. *They fascinate me. *I find them unique, interesting, and armored- but cute, soft and vulnerable underneath. *I think that represents me fairly well! Apparently in Aztec, they are called ‘turtle-rabbits.’ *Turtles are probably my favorite animals, but I feel I lack their gracefulness and patience. *I am a good runner and jumper, which I could link to rabbits. *So the idea of one of my favorite animals, the Armadillo, a ‘turtle-rabbit,’ as my Patronus, very much appeals to me.

9. Which magical place would you most like to visit?
I would most like to visit Hogwarts. *First of all I love castles, as they give me that adventuring, medieval, knights and ladies and jousting and patrolling the walls kind of feeling. *I want to climb all the towers of Hogwarts, go down all the secret passageways, explore every single corridor, examine every painting, tapestry, and enter each common room and the Room of Requirement. *I want to test out the unique ways of getting into each common room (as revealed in Pottermore details), get sorted into my house and meet all the students!

10. Pick one house you would prefer not to be in. (Optional)
I would prefer not to be in Slytherin, as I don’t consider myself particularly cunning or ambitious, nor do I like that they “will use any means to achieve their ends.” *I would like to achieve my ends as well, but there is a line that shouldn’t be crossed, no matter what.

Re: PurplePuffskein

I must admit I don't see the Hufflepuff in you so much as Ravenclaw.
