Looking for a solid, long lasting RPG with a welcoming community?

Why not give Vault 713 a try? We're a "Classic" Harry Potter board with all of the best things about role playing and none of the drawbacks of smaller trend-driven sites! With characters from Adults to Students, you can play at one of five foreign schools, hold the career of your dreams, participate in traditional "Real Life" roleplaying as a muggle, or just wander the wizarding world in search of something exciting! We've even got extra races to choose from, such as werewolves, veela, giants, goblins, and more - so there's tons of options for you. There's no reason to be stuck at just Hogwarts - your character can explore the entire world, including original magical schools in America, Japan, and Egypt!

• A player driven plot in an expansive world that lets you follow along with the Harry Potter series book by book (we're currently in the middle of Order of the Phoenix), but also lets you carve your own path in the world. Your character is just as important as any canon, so why stop at just Hogwarts when there's an entire globe to explore? The only limits are those of your imagination - so why settle for anything less?
  
  
• No word count requirements, but instead a grammar policy that encourages players to post using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. We have players of all styles and skill levels, so you're sure to find folks who post at a length and speed you're comfortable with.
  
  
• A large, active player base with folks on 24/7, but don't let the size intimidate you - we're a tight knit community that loves welcoming new folks into our midst. The Vault has some of the friendliest potter fans you'll meet, and we love people of all experience levels!
  
  
• Simple applications that are approved in less than an hour so you can start role playing on your time instead of waiting around to get involved. There's no reason to ask "Can I?" either - we'll allow almost anything you can come up with as far as characters are concerned, so the possibilities are endless!

Pro Quidditch Season is about to begin!!! Now's a great time to get in on the action if you've ever wanted to play Quidditch! We will be beginning our team draft in just a few weeks, followed by actual games running all summer. If you'd like to create a character for a pro team, we do have six available currently - the Fitchburg Finches, Wimbourne Wasps, Chudley Cannons, Kenmare Kestrels, Toyohashi Tengu, and the Braga Broomfleet. Otherwise, you're welcome to create a young adult character to participate in the draft! All are welcome!

Our Pro Quidditch Draft Begins April 29!!!

If you'd like to get in on the Quidditch action, we'd love to have you! The Wimbourne Wasps & Kenmare Kestrels are all filled up, with the Braga Broomfleet and Toyohashi Tengu only a few players from filling as well. We still have a few spots left on the Chudley Cannons, and plenty of room on the Fitchburg Finches.

Starting on April 29 will be the draft, so feel free to come create a 7th year character who's about to graduate or an age 17+ witch or wizard (or metamorphmagi, half-veela, half-goblin, etc) who is no longer in school who wishes to participate! There will be a series of challenges for all players and then at the end of the draft teams will be assigned.
