Re: Bags/Purses

I have a TNA bag, and it's black and blue. TNA is an expensive Canadian company that sells clothes and bags, and they're very stylish among Canadian teenagers, like myself. =] There are small ones, and medium ones, and very large ones. I have a medium one, which cost $60.00 and I still use it because it's so roomy and it's good for small trips. I used it when I went on a trip to go see a concert, and there was lots of room in it for clothes and makeup.

Re: Bags/Purses

My boyfriend chose my last bag out for me. It's like tan/brown and the brand is Lucca. I love it, it's so soft and fits just about everything I need.

Re: Bags/Purses

Of couse I like designer, but they're obviously so expensive. I've got a brown and pink Juicy which I love. The other day I got this really cute bag that kind of looks like a knockoff Coach for only five dollars! I am very excited.

Re: Bags/Purses

I love bags and purses! Tho, they don't fit well with my style of clothing. It's more stree-style, consisting of jeans and t-shirts. But I guess later when I'm gonna to switch clothing style I'll have more bags and purses than a whole purses' store.

I like to keep it under 100 dollars maybe a nice Ralph Lauren Bag very colorful, and has to match the shoes

Re: Bags/Purses

I sorted through my bags this fall and found ones that I didn't remember having! Hopefully I'll carry a variety from now on . . . nah!

My favorite handbag style is the Chanel quilted shoulder bag and I don't know exactly how many I have! I had my eye on a Candy bag online but waited too long and they're out of stock now.

I do have a Coach bag (leather) that I bought at Profitt's just before the prices went sky high. I thought it was marked down because of the ballpoint streak (which washed right off); turns out it was more likely because the Coach tag was missing. Phooey!

My sister is a Kathy Van Zeeland obsessive and she talked me into buying one on QVC. It's small and the price didn't break the bank. I love it and will no doubt carry it all winter.

Re: Bags/Purses

I love purses! They are probably my weakness, I must have over 20 or 30.

I have tons of Coach and Dooney & Bourke ones, but my new favorites are Michael Kors. I just got a new one for Christmas...I love it! Big enough for all my stuff. I tend to buy browns and blacks...I'm a neutrals type of girl I guess.

Re: Bags/Purses

I don't know if this is the best place to ask this question (maybe we need a Sewer's Corner thread for tips and advice) but maybe it'll get noticed. I'm about to remake a vinyl bag with patent leather and a polyester (probably) lining. I've never worked with leather before on this scale. I'm not worried about it, but I have a bit of an odd question, maybe. Do I need to worry about interfacing at all for the bag or the lining, and if so, what kind would be recommended? Thanks!

Re: Bags/Purses

The most I've ever spent on a bag was £25 for a Nike rucksack for uni. Otherwise, I'm a New Look girl- I like the £5 shoppers they and a lot of other places have

Re: Bags/Purses

I'm a big fan of bringing back the 80's Dooney & Bourke over the shoulder bags!

Re: Bags/Purses

I'm a huge fan of Kathy Van Zealand...also any huge beyond-need purse is usually always on my shoulder . The better half HATES it, he complains because there is always so much nonsense in them, so when he needs to find something in my purse...he DUMPS IT OUT! Quite annoying actually, but I love him anyway.

Re: Bags / Purses

Since my last post I've acquired three more Kathy VanZeeland bags. There's a store locally that sells them at a discount.

Re: Bags / Purses

I have a few purses/bags.

Most of them have different uses....like I have a small one for when I only need to carry a few things on me. I also have a big one for when I need to carry more, and I have a couple others. I don't have a lot though(I think I have about 5). I'm not sure how some people have tons.

Anyway, I won't buy ones I can't put over my shoulder. The ones you have to hold in your hand never seem that practical to me.

Re: Bags / Purses

This sort of has to do with bags, but I got a new wallet yesterday that matches the cross body bag I purchased a few weeks ago
