I sent a request as well.

We only get 7 questions for the sorting quiz, so I think it honestly depends on the questions you get that determine your house. You may pick answers that fit for Gryffindor with one set of 7, and for another set of 7 you may fit Hufflepuff, etc.

It's 100% okay - in fact, I encourage it! (More data is always better - like I said, I originally had it as a document with no protections that could be added to by anyone, but sadly someone kept coming in and deleting data and doing nasty trollish things so I had to lock the spreadsheet down in order to keep random people from wandering in and ruining it.)

Exactly! This is the main reason the Sorting tends to be unreliable. I've collected over 2400 Sortings, and from looking at all the data, I could tell you that I could honestly get any House and two different Hatstalls - all with different combinations of the same 27 answers. And that's without some people saying "Well, some days I'd pick this and other days I'd pick that, because heads vs. tails doesn't really mean anything to me or I really like two answers on this question" or things like that. I'd get Ravenclaw most of the time, but there are some people who would literally never get a consistent Sorting because they're so split on how they answer things.

did anyone else notice the new thing PM did? I noticed while trying to brew the swelling potion, that if you check your instructions a lot like I do, if you did a step wrong that step turns red in the book and it gives you a chance to click the exit button and start over, though it only let me get away with that twice before I had to go back and get the nettles.

I attempted the polyjuice potion - part 1 earlier today, and are the timers meant to be that fast? I ran out of time in the second half.

I did not! I've been fast enough when I made a mistake to hit the back button before the error sign came up, but then it didn't let me back in at the beginning like it used to. I'll have to give it a try. Thx!

Yes, the timers are meant to be that fast. One learns to work quickly in potion making. I rarely engage the timer anymore, even on new potions. Professor Snape would be proud (or maybe not . . .)
