Read the first two chapters of Cold Days near the end of a copy of Ghost Story... Oh yeah, I think I'm gonna love this one.

In particular I was fond of:

Cat Sith being Harry's Batman, that just screamed awesome on so many levels. It's also really nice to finally see the term "batman" used in the traditional sense without that superhero dude being involved.

Want to get a hold of the next Dresden Files book so bad ... that I jumped the gun and tried to put one on hold at my local library, forgetting that it isn't coming out until November .

So, I'll be trying again then, once they get the book in.

Finally found the time to read. Ah, the pleasure. In parts - maybe the interactions with some good friends - it's how I wished Ghost Story to be. Makes me looking forward the next instalment a lot once more.

So Mac is an 'Observer' apparently. But who was he before? That's actually what I'd liked to know - and why or how he got a choice to get "out" and do not care about what ever he had to care beforehand. That's obviously not an easy thing to get when you're engaged in magic / faerie / whatsnot business. And what's that with Odin being Kringle? How many peeps do we know by now who fulfill more than one role in Dresden's world?
