Hi Everyone,

So it's been a bit quiet for you all recently on the timings of CoS closing. I've not been online for about two months now, for a host of reasons. Lots of things are happening at the moment that have prevented me from being on CoS for some time and may continue you do so for the foreseeable future.

The good news (if it is such) is that CoS won't be closing when I had planned (end of July). I've far too much going on in my life to dedicate time to it, so for now I am going to pencil in the Autumn months to explore feasibility.

Continue to talk about the closure here and just carry on for now and watch this space. I'll update when I have some firm dates on when things can change.

Update: OOTP and HBP added 3/13-3/14. Also, BIO channel is rerunning some of their Potter inventory tomorrow morning.

You beat me again...but so far Zap2it is showing GOF and OotP both showing on Wednesday 3/13 starting at 4:30, they haven't gotten any further. I'll let you know when they update since it seems our schedules are clashing

So looks like I'll be watching HP weekend in 2 weeks from now and they'll probably show DHp1 that weekend as well.

You are correctamundo Brattyc. Fios has been giving conflicting start times for 3 days now, but I think they have the movie/day right. They still give 2 different start times, one of which agrees w/Zaptoit so I'd go with that one. I'm not seeing DH1 anywhere so we still have some wait on that.

Just remember the zap2it didn't update their schedule yet it's still only up to march 15 at 1:30 PM so they still could be showing DH1 that weekend. You know what could tell me that they won't premiere DH1 in march i just went on abc family's facebook page and looked at the march schedule and they didn't mention DH1 at all so they probably won't be showing that at all in march but maybe the HP weekend on abc family after that they'll probably show it.
EDIT CoS and HBP will be on abc family on march 16.

Okay, Zap2it keeps adding shows, here's the latest they have...will add more if they do (Don't forget, all times are Eastern)

Wed - 3/13
GOF - 4:30-8:00 pm
OotP - 8:00-11 pm

Thur - 3/14
OotP - 4:30-7:30 pm
HBP - 7:30-11:00 pm

Sat - 3/16
COS - 11:30 am-3:30 pm
HBP - 3:30-7:00 pm

Sun - 3/17
HBP - 8:00-11:30 am


Still no listing for DH 1, but the Sunday schedule has just been started so there's still hope

Don't look good. Twilight is showing in the 7pm Sunday slot. Guess we have to wait til April. Oh well. At least all the others are showing.

It's the most they've shown for a while. Maybe they'll show DH 1 over Easter weekend at the end of the month.

Kind of odd they're showing them a little out of order - pairing CoS and HBP at one point.

Wish they were showing GoF twice, and not OotP. Too much hair beats too much pink (if the pink is in the form of Umbridge).

They probably won't show DH1 til April because according to the facebook ABC Family page DH1 is not mentioned at all in the month of march. And I'd rather have SS,CoS, GoF, and HBP i'd replace OotP with SS.

Is HBO through with the DH contract? I thought they would not release either movie until they finished the contract.

HBO is done with DH1 but not DH2. And I'm guessing DH1 will premiere on abc family on April 14, 2013 at 9PM Eastern time.

I hope they start it before 9 pm (they always go off at 11)...that would mean it wouldn't even be 2 hours long when you add in the commercials Hopefully they'll start it around 7:30 or 8 pm and add in some of the deleted stuff.

Considering that they end at midnight DH1 would probably start at 9PM.

This begins today. I really loved the added scenes in GoF, and think it's worth all those commercials. Draco's expression during the Hogwarts school song is a classic

I watched GoF last night but i had to skip OotP last night because i didn't really enjoy that one but tonight I'm gonna watch HBP. And saturday I'll watch CoS.

Well, it's finally here - DH1 is coming to ABC Family Snitchseeker has posted the next HP marathon and it will start on May 11th - 12th ending with a 3 1/2 hour version of DH1 (hope that means it's extended )

Here's the schedule they posted at SS:

Saturday, May 11th
-- 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM ET/PT – “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”
-- 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM ET/PT – “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”
-- 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM ET/PT – “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”

Sunday, May 12th
-- 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM ET/PT – “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”

Hooray! Finally. Been searching for weeks. Nothing nothing nothing. I would guess there'll be some added footage. HBP is also 3 1/2 hours and the run time on IMDB is 7 minutes less for DH1. I see Mugglenet is shutting down the COS forums this summer. Anyone have idea on where to take this forum and continue posting?

Where did you find that information on DH1 airing on may 12th? What exact site? I tried going on zap2it and they don't mention it there yet.
