Ah. I'll have to look up his name from Foyle's War and then match it up with Downton Abbey to see who he played.

Edit: Just found out... he plays Charles Blake on Downton.

Yep. That's right.

I've been sick and was getting ready to turn in last night when I wrote that, so thanks for doing the legwork.

I also have to say I'm a fan of anything David Attenborough appears in or narrates. That man's voice has such an awesome quality about it. Plus, I love nature shows.

There are other versions of the shows he's done such as Planet Earth and Life where someone else narrates it, and it's just not the same.

I think it's Oprah who narrates some of them, iirc.

It's the most watched BBC2 drama of the last ten years. About a police anti-corruption unit. First series starred Lennie James, this series stars Keeley Hawes, Mark Bonnar and Jessica Raine. It's brilliant.

Watched the first episode and have been saving the rest - if I watch it week by week I will have forgotten what happened in the previous episode.

Re: Fans of British television shows...

Just found out from my daughter that PBS will be airing only 2 out of the last five episodes of Poirot. I'm very upset about it too . I've been a fan of the series since the beginning so it's disconcerting that they're doing this. The only way anyone can watch the last 3 is on acorn.tv, which is $49 a year. Not terribly priced, but too much for some fans out there. So some fans will be left in the cold due to it.

They won't be able to watch the last episode of Poirot, 'Curtain'. I'm ashamed at both the BBC and at PBS. This is the first time that any show hasn't been shown in its entirety.

Re: Fans of British television shows...

It's not a BBC series - shown here on ITV.
