Re: The Never Ending Party 2.0

That might be explaining why I've been craving cinnamon roll so much over the last few days, even though I live in an area that mostly ignores Epiphany, three kings day, Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday. There were cinnamon rolls at the Sunday Brunch Buffet yesterday, but someone put walnuts all over them so I couldn't have one. And the cinnamon rolls I have here are less than fresh, and have apples in. I ate one anyway, but I still want a Cinnabon. Or some King Cake, as Ms. Cooper described it, sounds very good!

No, I wasn't tied up by Snape.
I am now watching the People's Choice awards. the wrong Emma won for best movie actress.
Any food for the People's Choice party? how about some chicken wings and sliders? I also like 7-Up or Pepsi cola.

Not Pepsi! Coca-Cola! But, the chicken wings and sliders sound good. How was the award show?

*votes with Leah on the Coca-Cola side*

Also, Sprite is better than 7-up.

No, 7-Up beats Sprite any day of the week and Pepsi beats Coke hands down.
People Choice Awards was o.k. HP won four awards. of course, I had to miss the part where they won. I saw it on Facebook this a.m.

Not a rootbeer fan. Sierra Mist actually beats 7-Up hands down. Sprite is good, too. But, I prefer a good ole Coca-Cola.

Re: The Never Ending Party 2.0

So, how's the party coming along? we have assorted refreshments, and I saw a recipe for non-alcoholic firewhisky. I didn't look at it, but I hope it has a kick to it without the alcohol. We do have people who don't drink alcoholic beverages for whatever reason, or no reason at all.
I remember Yoo-hoo, though I haven't seen it lately. I also remember a drink called Green River. And phosphates, though I couldn't tell you what was in it. It was soda, not like Pepsi or Coke. There was chocolate phosphates and cherry phosphates. Don't remember when these drinks disappeared.

Re: The Never Ending Party 2.0

non-alcoholic firewhiskey? that sounds somewhat sacrilegious... oh lord, lead me not into the temptation of temperance...neither let my feet strayeth from the path to the Hog's Head Inn...yeah, verily though I walk a little askew...let not Dumbledore take away my Hogsmeade privileges...

Re: The Never Ending Party 2.0

this recipe was on Mugglenet, the master HP webpage, part of Madam Rosemerta's cookbook.
Are you sure it will be Dumbledore who will take away your Hogsmeade privilages and not your head of house?

It'll be Dumbledore. I'm pretty tight with my Head of House.

Ooh, RC! I remember when I was little, about three or four, my mom took aerobics. My brother and I would stay in daycare there and these older kids would go across the street and buy everyone (with permission) RC Colas. They came in these awesome cups.
