There are lots of them. Hermione modifying her parents' memories, it's so touching. The preparation for the Seven Potters, so funny. Also unexpectedly, I liked the Harry/Hermione dance. I thought the idea was silly, but I admit it turned out to be really cute. I loved the scene where Bathilda turned to Nagini, it was so well-done, eerie and scary.

I should probably stop here, or I'll end up mentioning the whole movie,

blimey, there are loads i can think of!

2 of my favourites though has to be when ron gets splinched and hermione gets tortured.

emma'sacting was amazing in both and certaintly put an end to those people who complain that emma's rubbish when it comes to crying on-screen.

For me the Charity Burbage scene was the most chilling. I loved the tale of the three brothers, The silver doe and Malfoy Manor.

Re: Which scenes in the DH movie are your favourite?

I really liked the scene where Hermione obliviated her parents. That made me so sad, as did the Malfoy Manor scene in the beginning of the film, with Charity, Snape and the Malfoys.

And I really loved The Tale of the Tree Brothers, that was fun to watch and a great way of including the fairytale.

I think I liked Dobby's death, but I'm not sure, I was so upset and sad. Half the movie-goers (including me) were crying their eyes out.

The H/Hr dance scene. I really liked the song (What is it?)

The Tale Of The Three Brothers - It was very well done, and gives me hope if someone were to adapt 'Beedle The Bard'.

In the graveyard - I'm happy that it wasn't muddled! It was my favorite in the book!

Dobby's Death, mainly because Shell Cottage was in such a pretty area.

Re: Which scenes in the DH movie are your favourite?

Hmm, this is kind of tough: I have a lot of complaints about this film, but almost none about the scenes! Here's a first cut:
  1. Horcurx destruction: the intensity surpassed that that the word invoked (which is saying a lot in this case!); the immediate followup was very good, too: I'm no "shipper" but the Ron-Hermione exchange was actually sweet;
  2. Malfoy Manor: a great combination of "save the damsel in distress" with almost Star Wars level "shoot 'em up";
  3. The Dance: who hasn't been in Harry's shoes (trying to cheer up the dumped friend) or Hermione's shoes (trying to be cheered by a platonic friend) or in both?
  4. Ron heading off Harry: this actually encapsulated Rowling's story of Hard vs. Wrong choices concerning the Greater Good, and a great example of what adaptations should do;
  5. Godric's Hollow: a great combination of poignancy, furthering the mystery, and an excellent dramatic action sequence;
  6. The Tale of the 3 Brothers: brilliantly done in all ways, from the very idea of how to do it to the execution;
  7. The 7 Potters: humor, dazzling (if confusing) action, and Hedwig gets a much improved death.

Perhaps I'm being a bit of a dunderhead, but what do you mean "heading off"? When Ron leaves?

Re: Which scenes in the DH movie are your favourite?

It's really hard to say for me. The film had at least a dozen moments that I found particularly outstanding, not only regarding this movie but the entire series.

1. The locket and its destruction. Found it much more impressive than in the book and REALLY intense to watch. The way it bursts to life once opened made me jump, and it gave a really good impression as to why these Horcruxes are so dangerous that they could even destroy great Dumbledore

2. Voldemort demanding Lucius' wand. I found Isaac's performance pretty spectacular, it is really just a little set piece, but oh wow.

3. Snape arriving in Malfoy Manor. What can I say. The last man to manage SUCH a grande entrance must have been Darth Vader.

4. Dobby and Kreacher dragging in poor Mundungus. I felt kinda sorry for the man, and the entire scene really cracked me up.

Re: Which scenes in the DH movie are your favourite?

- Hermione's Leaving, Harry looking in the cupboard.
- Dark Lord Ascending
- 7 Potters, Hedwig's Death
- Hermione and Harry dance - I don't usually like random additions, but this was adorable and strengthened their sister/brother relationship
- Godrics Hollow Graveyard and Bathilda
- Silver Doe and Frozen Pond
- Harry/Hermione horcrux kiss, so creepy, uncomfortable and wrong, just as it should be
- Torture scene - so emotional! Poor Hermione with the "Mudblood" scar.

I loved most of the movie to be honest! It was hard not to list every scene in the movie as my favourite!

Re: Which scenes in the DH movie are your favourite?

-The 7 Potters scene
-Hermione/Harry dance scene - the song really does it for me - a touching scene between friends
-Hermione/Ron on the piano
-Emma's amazing performance during the torture scene at the Manor
"-Engorgio - Reducio!"
-Silver Doe
-Godric Hollow - the graveyard
-Ron comes back and Hermione hitting him with her bag

There are a few more, I'm sure - I'll add them later after my second viewing.

Re: Which scenes in the DH movie are your favourite?

I've already talked about most of my absolutely favorite scenes from the film in other threads, so here's a few that I haven't yet mentioned:
* Scrimgour making his proclamation to the wizarding world about the Ministry's resolve to stand firm and steadfast as a shield against the encroaching darkness (Bill Nighy was PERFECTLY cast in the role)

* The 'Seven Potters' (the best parts of the scene were Moody's commentaries and Fleur and Hermione's verbal reactions to being transformed into Harry)

* Ginny snogging Harry in the Burrow's kitchen on the morning of Bill and Fleur's wedding, and George interrupting them

* Scrimgour reading the trio the Last Will and Testament of Albus Dumbledore (as mentioned above, Nighy was perfectly cast as Scrimgour; the best part of the scene is the fact that you can tell by Scrimgour's facial expressions that he really wants to flat-out force Harry to tell him what he's up to, but doesn't have the authority to do so)

* Dobby and Kreacher bringing Mundungus Fletcher to Grimmauld Place

* Harry stupifying Umbridge and stealing the locket Horcrux

* Mary Cattermole kissing Polyjuiced Reginald Cattermole!Ron just as the real Reginald Cattermole turns up at the Ministry

* Xeno Lovegood trying to stop the trio from leaving his house and saying Voldemort's name (brilliantly acted by Rhys Ifans; I really liked the fact that Ifans played the character with a Celtic/Irish accent, because it completely matches/fits Evanna Lynch's portrayal of Luna, and really makes you buy into the idea that the two characters are father and daughter)
