I think I noticed him in that recently as well. My mom watched it for a little bit. Recognized his voice right away.

Re: Noticing HP Actors in Other Movies
Probably a million people have mentioned this before, but I instantly recognised Maggie Smith in Downton Abbey. Meanwhile, Ralph Fiennes plays Rameses II in Dreamworks' Prince of Egypt and delivered a very compelling performance as the antagonist (I wouldn't say Rameses is a villain per se in that film, but that's not for this thread), at once chilling and tragic.
Spoiler: show And incidentally, in Prince of Egypt, he also provides the singing voice of Rameses in "The Plagues", and I must say he definitely can sing well. Spoiler: show And of course Helena Bonham-Carter as the queen in The King's Speech, and Madam Thenardier in Les Miserables.

Re: Noticing HP Actors in Other Movies
David Thewlis was in the new movie Red 2, playing one of the bad guys. Very different from his role as Remus Lupin.

Re: Noticing HP Actors in Other Movies
Saturday evening I watched The Tailor of Panama, which starred Pierce Brosnan and Geoffrey Rush. Little DanR was Rush's son and Brendan Gleeson was barely recognizable without Moody's magic eye (and he was so much younger)! It wasn't a very good movie and I only watched for the glimpses of Dan.

I was surprised when I finally realized why Menelaus seemed so familiar in "Troy", now that you mention Gleeson.

Re: Noticing HP Actors in Other Movies
I just learned that the TV pilot Rupert Grint did is online. It's not bad. I'd watch the show - too bad CBS didn't pick it up. And his American accent is surprisingly good.

Re: Noticing HP Actors in Other Movies
Has anyone seen Pride? Its got a few HP vets in it, with Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton both taking major roles and Jessie Lake having a minor part.

I was recently watching The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel on TV and was pleasantly surprised to see both Dame Maggie Smith and Bill Nighy.
