Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

Personally, I think it will be the "Seven Potters" scene, especially the Voldemort chase part.

What about your ideas?

The final battle at Hogwarts. If they do it right, it should be EPIC

Malfoy's manor. It was just so creepy. AND, the best R/Hr moment ever.

Of course, Molly's scene.

Oh, and also since OotP movie didn't have the mirrors from Sirius, if my memory is good on that. And since it played a really important role like I thought it would.... heh heh

It's a tie between the Seven Potters and King's Cross Station for me

(There are more I'd like to see, but I'll restrain myself- in this post at least!)

I think that the very last scene in the duel between Voldemort and Harry will be great. The way that it was described as the Elder Wand went to Harry's hand, and Voldemort was vanquished forever...I just think it'll be really beautiful.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione escaping Gringotts should be excellent as well.

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

funniest: definitely the 7 potters scene or maybe when hagrid gets tossed by grawp. The wedding also has potential

saddest: dobby or fred's death, maybe snapes death or when harry thinks hagrid is dead. Aberforth reminescing may also be a sad scene.

creepiest: bathilda turning into the snake.

overly dramatic: lupin/harrys shout match if they decide to include it

Things not to include: alot of the trios in isolation.

Scenes that i could do with out but are essential to *** story:
the memory of snape AND the seen with dumbledore(this seems alittle to matrix-style for me)

best scene in terms of graphics or fight scenes:
i hope the battle of hogwarts...if they can't pull this off i hope they cancel the movie cuz there seems to be alot they can do with it...
-charge of *** elves, the spiders, DEs floating everywhere, the greathall or even the wall beside the RoR being blown out...
...and I hope they ADD DRAGGONS just for kicks at the battle.

Though they may also be able to do some dramatic effects with the nurmengard scene

-The Seven Potters scene
-The Malfoy Mannor scene
-Bathida Bagshot and Godric's Hollow

The Bathida Bagshot thing would be really great if M. Night Shaymalan directed. So would the whole movie. He would be perfect for this cause it is a much different style of Harry Potter.

Assuming, of course, they keep all those bits in

The scene with Nagini erupting from Bathilda's neck would probably make the movie (as they have gotten progressively darker) but I'm not sure that would be one I'd want to see.

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

Yeah, The Seven Potters will be great. Imagine the London broom flyby from Ootp but done with fighting and Voldemort flying! Something else that should be good is Dobby's death (if they include him). I can imagine them escaping from the Manor then the camera panning down to reveal Bellatrix's knife in his chest. Cue a sharp intake of breath from the audience!

No doubt the Battle of Hogwarts will be the biggest sequence they've ever put together, and I'm sure there'll be more action than what we see in the book (because we only get Harry's pov we miss most of the fight). Just think of how amazing that moment will be where McGonagall commands the statues and armour to protect the castle!

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

-The Seven Potters scene & Flying Voldemort (as long as they keep Hedwig's death and all the rest thereafter, like George's ear and Moody's death)

-The Malfoy Mannor scene (torture scenes, and Dobby's death) :-(

-Bathida Bagshot and Godric's Hollow (just creepy and sick to see)

- The Battle at Hogwarts - EPIC!

- Snape's Memories (and not 10 secs long like in the OoTP movie!)

- Kings Cross (beyond the Veil, with Harry and Dumbldore, and the dying fragment of Voldemort's soul screaming out throughout)

Me too. The Gemino curse would be interesting to see onscreen- everything they touch splits into duplicates and all are boiling hot. Watching that I'd be torn between thinking how cool it is and how painful! There's a test of Radcliffe, Grint and Watson's acting skills if ever there was one.

Great thread, by the way

Funniest: Ron & Hermione's Kiss
Saddest: Fred's death
Most Romantic: Harry's B-day kiss
Most Epic: Harry & Voldemort's final battle
Creepiest: Nagini coming out out Bathilda
Most Sentimental: Harry walking to his "death" with his family

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

Most tragic - Percy with Fred's body / Snape's memories of Lily (tie)
best action - battle at hogwarts
creepiest - Nagini coming out of Bathilde / King's Cross (tie)
make you smile moment - Hermione kissing Ron
best overall - Harry calling Voldie Riddle and telling him the horcruxes are gone

I cant wait to see the chapter "The Dark lord Rising" brought to life, I think it will make a dark and overall feel beginning scene for the movie. I also want to see epilogue brought to life, you know? Overall, this movie better include everything, it should make up fdor all of the good stuff left out in the other movies!

Key word there is should. I hope they deliver.

I think Harry entering the forest with his parents, Sirius and Lupin will be the best. Also the infamous Mrs. Weasley line will be great.

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

I know I've already answered and I hope this is not off topic, but do you guys think they will really be true to the feeling of this book? It's not a kid's book anymore...will they try to make it a kid's movie, and will it suffer because of it? Or will they do it right?
