i remember something else, there was a sort of porch outside?
so it did looked like first floor- first room of the house- bad camera showing "behind the magic"? oh and also I never really heard clearly what Parvati said in the yule ball to the durstrang guy who asks her to dance, but last night i did, "Arm, Leg, i'm yours" i thought it was hilarious |

Irish. Most Irish accents aren't that strong in my opinion. Especially the further north in Ireland you go, the lighter they seem to be. |

Interesting. Seamus's accent is really thick though. I may have just assumed that all Irish people were supposed to have an accent like his. I watched HBP last night though and listened closely to Luna and now I can hear the Irish in her voice.

Irish may have regional dialects like the rest of Britain. (Irish members wanna confirm that?) Notice Cho has an accent similar to that.
Maybe outside Ron's door theres a house plant? *shrug*

Ireland does have a wide variety of accents....speaking as an American who lived there. The Dub accent is very strong, as can be the Northern accent; the west Irish accent is also very distinct. Evanna Lynch's is a fairly mild Irish accent. |

Perhaps I am slow on the uptake (really slow on the uptake), but I was watching the first film and I noticed for the first time that Filch was rooting for Slytherin during the Quidditch match.
I don't know why I found that interesting, I just did.

Re: Things you didn't spot until the umpteenth time in the HP films v.2
From watching DH part 1 on DVD I spotted a few things I hadn't seen in my cinema viewings, firstly George and the toothbrush in his ear finally made sense after I caught him sticking it in there when he's leaning against the counter, I completely missed that the first few viewings and had no idea how it had got there
![]() Also in Hermione's copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, underneath the title when they're looking at the symbol, it says "For little people" which I found quite cute ![]() |

Awesome! I want to see that! Just a warning, MsBinns, the pumpkin juice isnt very good. I was hoping for a more pleasant taste (not to mention, to pay less $ for it), BUT by all means, PLS try it. I just didnt think it was good. And BlueBronze, good call on the Harry/Rita scene...How did she know? She may not have known though and it could have just been a [email protected] comment... and/or a possible coincidential comment, like Draco gave once he became a prefect...how he'd be "dogging" Harry (possibly hinting at seeing Sirius).....I would wager coincidence though....

Just watched Deathly Hallows Part 1 again (first time having DVD) and I noticed a few things.
1. Hermione's parents talking about Australia. 2. Radio mentioning Dean Thomas, Ted Tonks, and Gornuk 3. Twilight reference? Radio mentioned, all in one sequence, three people by the name of Bella, Jake and Charlie. ![]()

Having a Potter-athon as I'm writing this. I noticed during the duelling club scene in CoS when Snape uses Expelliarmus [sp?] that it comes out yellow - and kind of looks like lightning. In the books and every other time we see it in the movies it is red. Massive LOL at that one.

In that same dueling club scene, Snape yells, "Expelliarmus" and then proceeds to "thrust" his wand forward to actually "shoot" the spell out of his wand..This creates a very odd timing issue. Does this mean that a wizard can vocalize the incantation and then "shoot" the spell whenever afterwards? I doubt it, but just watch it, it looks weird. ![]()

I think around the part near where Harry goes "It sets my teeth on edge." When he is sitting near the tent and the radio is going.

Re: Things you didn't spot until the umpteenth time in the HP films v.2
Here's what was said in the movie about Dean Thomas, Ted Tonks and Gornuk.
"A goblin by the name of Gornuk was killed. It is believed that Muggle-born Dean Thomas and a second goblin...both believed to be travelling with Tonks, Cresswell, and Gornuk, may have escaped. If Dean is listening or ayone has any knowledge of his whereabouts....his parents and sisters are desperate for news."

I guess this would qualify more as a mistake, but I'll post it here anyway, since I didn't notice it the first time. After the wedding, when the trio Disapparates, etc, none of them say Voldemort's name, which is how I thought the trackers were able to find them!
