Today's laugh. Quotes from a conversation that occurred about July 18.
Mother of two piano students (one of whom has been with us several years) "I think my kids are just tired and need a break from lessons."
Teacher: " We always take a break after next week until September."
Mother of kids: "Oh, I hadn't realized that."
Hope your choral concert went well, cathairetic. I admire anyone who can play those unforgiving accompaniments. Often they are orchestral reductions and not very practical for one piano. My hands are not big enough for such, even if I had that much time to practice. I do well to cover a few standard student concerti for my fiddle students.
"We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out." Ray Bradbury
