I am looking forward to Molly vs Bellatrix, just read the scene in the book

"the floor beneath them fiery and cracked"

"Not my daughter, you B*tch!"

it will be awesome

i really hope they include everything, because the Seven Potters should rule, the wedding and the attack at that place, the MoM and stealing the locket from Umbridge, malfoy's manner, gringotts, battle of hogwarts, prince's tale,

God this movie needs to be at least 3 hours....

Funniest Moment - Kreacher hitting Mundungus over the head, seven Potters scene
Tragic Moment - Snape's death, and him telling Harry to look into his eyes as well as Fred's death and Percy's sadness
Best Action Moment- The Battle of Hogwarts
Creepiest Moment - Seeing the bodies of Lupin, Tonks, Fred, etc. laid across the Great Hall floor
Feel Good Moment - Ron/Hermione's love scenes/kiss, Harry/Ginny kiss
Best Overall Moment - Harry sacrificing himself, then killing Voldemort

I just hope that they give this film the time it deserves. Just pull a LotR and make the thing 3.5 hours long. I think they should've started doing that with GoF, actually.

Is anyone worried that Molly VS Bellatrix is gonna look really funny and over the top in the movie? Julie Walters is getting up in years and is not the most 'physical' looking person...is there duel gonna look a little unrealistic and ridiculous in the film?

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

They'll no doubt cut all the best scenes :P

On a unrelated note; I, for some reason, feel that the climax of the entire story would have been better if done on a smaller, less "epic", scale. I just feel that the whole "huge battle, every single creature and character ever shown shows up and they all rally together" pretty cliched. Not to say I didn't enjoy it, it's just that I feel it should have, in the end, truly been Voldemort vs. Harry. Also, what was with Voldemort dueling those three? It just seems that he would have "pwned" them in seconds. I mean.....he IS, officially, the most powerful wizard in existence at that time, and if Dumbledore could easily beat every ministry person with ease in the fifth book, I just honestly find it hard to believe that any one of them would have survived that duel. It's VOLDEMORT, guys.....I don't know. Just some of that battle felt....too far on the good guys side then I think it should've been.

I really doubt there is a director alive that will be able to do this book justice.

I just saw the fifth movie today, and seeing how they really toned down the angst and anger from the book, I'm afraid of what's going to happen to the DH film.

Best Single Effects Shot: The moment that the dragon bursts up through the floor in Gringotts. That looked all awesome and CGI-ness in my head. Goblins flying out of the way, wizards running for their lives. So sweet.

I will definitely be looking forward to the seven potters scene. that would be fun to film if i were dan radcliffe. i also want to see snape's memories. it will be fun to see who they pick to look like the young snape and young lily (i believe she wasn't in the OotP movie)

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

The absolute best will be: 'He pressed the golden metal to his lips and whispered, "I am about to die."' Nothing can top that in my book, if executed correctly. But I have faith in Dan Radcliffe's acting skills.

But some scenes I am looking forward to as well:
- The forest duel
- King's Cross
- The final duel in Hogwarts
- The final Snape/Harry scene
- Snapes memories in the pensive
- McGonagall and D.A. in battle
- Harry casting the Crucio

Basically the end of the book - starting from when he arrives at Hogwarts up until the final duel. But not thge epilogue!

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

Romantic..... Ron and Hermione's Kiss....also Harry and Ginny for those like them (I dont)
Heroic: Ron saves Harry, Neville Kills Nagini
Action: Final Battle in full/ escape from Gringnotts
Sentimental: Snape's memories and Harry walking to what he thinks is his death. Dobby's death.
Informative: Kreacher's tale, MOM break in, DD's will, King's Cross, Voldemort's mind, and duh....THE DEATHLY HALLOWS.

(People who dont read the books are gonna be SOOOO lost)

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

One scene that immediately came to my mind that no one has mentioned is the scene starting with Harry following the doe into the woods and ending with Ron destroying the locket horcrux. I think that'll be very exciting, with Ron pulling Harry out of the pool, then seeing all his own fears manifest, and finally driving the sword into the locket. The moments before that happens, where he seems to be allowing the visions to cow him, and Harry yelling at him to destroy it, were the best of the camping scenes. Not to mention the moment of surprise when rather than giving Ron a great big hug when they return to tent, Hermione hits him.

Another is definately Snape's last breath when he asks Harry to look at him. I hope that we get to see The Prince's Tale even as a shortened montage that at least includes the highlights, first establishing his love for Lily, and going on through the final scene in which Harry finds out he must die at Voldemort's hand, ending with Snape's patronus and answer to Dumbledore's query: "Always."

It goes without saying that Harry's walk to his "death" and later his final battle with Voldemort will be among the best scenes (I hope!) in the film series.

I cannot wait to see the final showdown between Harry and Voldemort; both of them walking in a circle, surrounded by tons of people and wreckage Ö itís going to be awesome.

Dobby's large, pointed ears were now sticking out from beneath what looked like all the hats Hermione had ever knitted; he
was wearing one on top of the other, so that his head seemed elongated by two or three feet, and on the very topmost
bobble sat Hedwig, hooting serenely and obviously cured.

Indeed.

But still.. just wishful thinking.. The Battle of Hogwarts will be beyond epic.

Of course, that's what I thought about the Dept of Mysteries scene for movie 5.. :/

I also think The Seven Potters will be thrilling, good way to kick off the movie.

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

This is a tiny thing but i think it's going to be great to see the room of requirement acting as a hideout for Dumbledore's Army. Neville coming out of that portrait and leading them there is going to such a feel good, exciting coupe of moments.

Also, obviously, the "walk to his death" surrounded by his parents and Lupin and Sirius....

I want the battle at Hogwarts to be epic, but I have a feeling it will be cut down. I want to see the Harry sacrifice scene when he goes into the forest with his parents, Sirius, and Lupin. I want to see the brief convo he has with them.

Re: Which Deathly Hallows scene will be the best movie scene?

I really want to see the Ron saving Harry scene. Ron diving into the water to rescue the drowning Harry, then having to face all his worst fears and insecurities, before destroying the locket and getting down on his knees sobbing. Then Harry coming over and them both crying and hugging.
That will be the most emotional scene for me as Ron is my favourite character and I love Ron and Harry's relationship dynamics.
Plus Hermione is not there, so she can't steal the scene!
I swear if they put Movie Hermione into this scene, I will scream!!!!!
