Re: House M.D.

1. The whole half-sibling thing was a bit much for me. Poor kids! They loved each other, but now will be scarred for life.

2. Poor House. He has met his match in the cop. He's had it too easy, though, and he deserves a little bit of a taste of his own medicine.

Next week's episode looks VERY interesting. The actor who plays the patient looks really familiar. I just can't come up with where I've seen him before.

I haven't seen next week's previews, but I thought this episode was interesting... And yeah, the siblings thing was kind of gross considering they were married too

And I know House always pushes it with his patients in the clinic, but that cop just needs to get over it... There will always be cranky doctors anyway

More right you couldn't be, Audrey. However, it's nice to see House have a piece of the humility pie. He'll get over it, and who knows, he might get to treat and save the cop.

I thought the patient for next week's looked familiar too.For some reason, the face of the person reminded me of Kevin from the Office.

Re: House M.D.

I've only seen a few episodes (and they've all been this week) but I've enjoyed them immensely.

As soon as that cop car started following House, I knew it had to be that guy from earlier. That sucks for House!

Also that whole sibling thing was horrible. Those poor kids. I would imagine something like that would really mess you up. Their dad should have just told them why he didn't want them to date. Would have made their lives so much easier.

This week was awesome! I felt terrible for the kids too. I was so sad that they had to find out like that. House leaving the cop there with the thermometer was priceless, but boy did he get his in the end.

I can't wait till House reports the guy to his superior officers. Because the cop will get fired for arresting someone he had already had an unrelated altercation with. Granted, it's illegal for House to have been carrying prescription pills outside of their prescription bottle but...did anyone else find that incredibly contrived? The first time we've ever seen him without his bottle, and he gets arrested. Ah well. I really hope House reports him, though.

Re: House M.D.

Ohhhh, what an excellent episode this week. I know some people guessed it a bit early, but I didn't figure out the whole half-sibling twist. Poor things. (And I immediately downloaded that song from Micheal Penn that played during the ending, gorgeous!) Loved Foreman in this episode. He was such an *** all throughout season 2 that I'm so happy he's reverting back to season 1 Foreman. Him and Nurse Wendy are cute together; I was so glad she wasn't dating Wilson.

Re: House M.D.

I apologise if I'm being dense, but is House the one with Hugh Laurie pretending to be an American, even though he is VERY English?

I love that, its fantastic!

Yes, ma'am, that's Hugh Laurie. Such an excellent American accent that he fooled the producers/directors of the show into thinking he was American when he auditioned on tape

Re: House M.D.

I really enjoyed last season of this show. There is just something about House's unappealing personality that draws me into the show. I haven't been able to get into in much this season. I am either tied up when it comes on, or it slips my mind. I have bought all of the DVDs that are available, however, (Seasons 1-3) and I can't wait to watch those.

Re: House M.D.

I just started watching this show a week ago, me and my mom rented the first and second cd's of the first season and got hooked instantly...

The only thing that bugs me, actually, is that the doctors seem to do EVERYTHING in the hospital... Need some tests? they do it, need some radiographies? they do it Need a tumor removed? They do it ... it's just very unreal that these doctors do everything themselves around the hospital...

But anyway, I love the show, and I'm at the part of season 1 where Allison told House she likes him I'm guessing nothing will ever happen but it's still really funny, and sad

It is a teaching hospital. Maybe that's why the Cameron, Chase, and Foreman do all the work. I can't really think of any other reason why they would be doing work specialists would normally be doing.

Yes it was the same for me as well... those poor kids...

Yes it should...

Well House is the diagnostician and the others are his team that do all the tests and stuff. Each of the doctors have their own areas of expertise (Foreman is a neurologist and Chase is always performs operations). I think it's pretty much what they get paid to do, they're on a time limit most of the episodes and the hospital probably wouldn't like it if House made all of his tests and procedures a priority so his team does it.

I grew up in a very small town, everybody knew everybody, everything about everybody, and their family. About 10 years ago, the daughter of one of my old HS classmates became engaged to the son of a guy who was a year ahead of us in HS. The mother had to tell daughter she and prospective hubby should get a DNA test, as there was a possibility they were half-siblings. There had been some heretofore-unknown extramarital hanky-panky going on between my two old school chums! Needless to say, it was the talk of the town for years (turns out they were not related, but the story got out somehow, anyway). They decided to not get married - the inter-familial relations were somewhat strained after the disclosure!
