Things you didn't spot until the umpteenth time in the HP films v.2

Just been watching PS/SS, and only now I spotted Harry rolling his eyes when Hermione asks Nearly Headless Nick, "Nearly headless? How can you be nearly headless?"

Having seen DH2 for the 3rd time, only now do I notice that we actually get to see Remus killed. When a Death Eater bursts through the window of a tower right after the Protego Maxima shield collapses, he AKs someone (Remus) before duelling with Arthur, then Kingsley is shown stopping another DE who breaks through the other window.

We know from earlier in the film that Remus, Arthur and Kingsley were all together up there, so this makes sense to me.

That's an interesting observation. I remember wondering who that person was, and it makes sense that it could have been Lupin.

I think I've paused that frame when it was released in a trailer, and it definately was not Lupin, although its going so fast we can assume it is

and there is more evidence that it is lupin. the last mention before lupins death in the book is that he was dueling dolohov so he probably got killed by him. in the movie, the death eater who blasts through the window looks like dolohov.

I'm sure someone's already mentioned this, but I'm re-watching SS and noticed that the Leaky Cauldron sign (on Harry's first trip to Diagon Alley) appears to be a blank sign until Harry and Hagrid get closer to the door. I love that detail because the books mention how the muggles keep walking past it like it's not even there.

Speaking of SS/PS, I just noticed today that after the Sorting Hat sorts Harry into "GRYFFINDOR!", watch the twins carefully when they stand up cheering: one of them seems to clearly mouth "We got Potter!", like in the book. On second thought, I think you can actually hear him (very faintly!) saying that. The twin (can't tell which one) says it one or more times even when Harry reaches the Gryffindor table. Gotta love the twins!

I don't know if anyone mentioned this earlier in the thread, but I was watching DH1 today and realized that in the scene in the Ministry when Thicknesse is giving his speech, you can see Reg Cattermole in the crowd of ministry workers. I've probably seen this movie a dozen times now and just noticed him standing there today!

Really? I hadn't even noticed that Lucius had brought Severus to the boathouse. Obviously, need to watch the movie again. Twice is not enough.

I was watching PS/SS today, and saw that when Hermione said that she went looking for the Troll and it was her fault, that Snape gave her a look that was a cross from him not believing her and as if he is in pain (guess that would be from the bite on his leg).I never noticed it, but it was funny.

In the scene in PS/SS just as Ron is commenting, "It's spooky! She knows more about you than you do!", look quickly to your right at one of the pictures opposite the staircase the trio are just about to ascend. You can see a picture of Anne Boleyn.

I don't know how many times I've watched GoF and only just noticed that Ron has an omnocular (sp?) at the Quidditch World Cup.

I watched DH1 last night and when Yaxley disapparates with them, you can see all the faces swirling. It's so clear I don't know how I could have missed it before.
