So, whatever happened to Parvati and Padma?
I think that they married twin Bulgarians. Just a thought!!

What makes you think that?
Maybe one of them became a Professor at Hogwarts. maybe Parvati taught Divinition, that is of course if the whole subject was not removed.

I don't exactly know why I think that!! They got along pretty well with that Bulgarian at the Yule Ball, maybe he had a twin! Or a friend.

Ya, Parvaiti being a Divination teacher would make sense. Padma was in Ravenclaw, so maybe she is doing something at the Ministry. I don't think they would have a hard time landing a husband, remember at the Yule Ball someone asked how Harry and Ron ended up with the two best looking girls in the year? Not that looks are everything...

The boys at the Yule Ball were actually from Beauxbatons:

I cannot envision Parvati teaching at Hogwarts. Personally, I would not like that idea, since I think one professor from Harry's year and House is enough for Hogwarts.

I can imagine Parvati pursuing a branch of Divination, though - astrology. This, or else I think she would run a store selling objects useful for the study of Divination, while offering her limited skills to those who are superstitious.

I do not think we know enough of Padma to gauge her profession or any of her future, though.

I think it would be cool if Parvati went to work for the ministry in the Department of Ministries--with her divination background, she comes up with the way to restore the Hall of Prophecies, which is still in ruins after being destroyed during Harry and the Gang's fight with the death eaters in OOTP.

As for Padma, I agree that we don't know enough about her to really speculate what her future would be, but if she's a Ravenclaw, she probably does something with an intellectual aspect--maybe teach, maybe write textbooks, maybe work on new spell creations, etc...

ETA: drat my inattentive typing! Of course, I meant the Department of Mysteries in the first line of this post. Sorry about that...(goes off to corner of the room to blush in humiliation...)

I think anything is possible with the Patil Twins. Parvati teaching divination, her sister working somewhere else. Of course, we will probably never know unless Jo writes the encyclopedia.

I agree. I can imagine Padma becoming a Healer at St. Mungo's. Though it is also true that we don't really know much about her except that she was in Ravenclaw which means she was intelligent.

I like the idea of Parvati working in the department of mysteries. Not sure if it would really be her though, she may have some trouble with keeping all the mysteries secret. As for Padma I don't think we really know enough about her to say

They fought in the Hogwarts battle. in fact, a lot of people who left Hogwarts came back, if they were of age, even Colin Creevey, he wasn't of age, but he came back.

The HP lexicon says they both fought in the battle for Hogwarts but it doesn't give any out come or if they survived or not .


As for careers why can't they both be stay at home wives and mothers ? I mean not everyone gets out of school and has a career . They might have had retail jobs somewhere or they might have gotten married and started families . Until JKR publishes her encyclopedia we will never really know .
