AFL (Australian Rules Football)

I swear we used to have a thread about this... oh well. So the new season is well underway. Any Aussies here wish to discuss AFL?

I'm a bit ashamed to say I'm a Port Power supporter (we'll win eventually!)... but have a good feeling about Hawthorne this year (unfortunately... the Hawks are my least favourite team- yes I despise them more than Collingwood :o)

So what are other peoples' thoughts/teams?

Well since most people of the forum don't have a clue about Aussie Rules - nobody has responded. I'm not an avid supporter but since I'm from Sydney I'll go for the Swans.

Re: AFL (Australian Rules Football)

I'm a avid footy fan, but the season is coming to an end soon. I reckon Collingwood will make it to the final (2010), but last night's match against Adelaide was pretty bad though. There was a lot of miss opportunities from that team last night.
I support the Bombers, though we're sort of an up and down team. We seem to do really well against the good teams, but yet lose against the bad teams. I do hope they improve next year.

Also a Port fan...at least it'll be hard for anyone to claim Port has been feeding its players peptides/epo/hormones etc with our recent form!

I don't know. People might be changing their opinions now
