Thank you. That was helpful. Now it won't bug me every time I see that scene.

Well, I don't know what this means, but Zap2it is showing POA coming on Wednesday, August 26th from 5-8 pm. I was just goofing around there and was shocked when POA showed up, it came up in the search box. I don't know if there will be any more and why they'd start them on a Wednesday, but I'll take it

Just seeing it now in FIOS land. Can't see any others, either. Five pm is an odd start time. Maybe they're trying to build up "Kevin from Work" which follows at 8pm. If that's true then maybe the following Wednesday another to follow. Bears watching. Which scares me because I'm afraid of bears. GOF stays put on HBO thru September, BTW.

Good catch Brattyc and you do remember correctly. There was a Thursday only run back in July 2013 leading up to a full marathon, although ABCF only had 5 of the films then.

Just a reminder that POA is on at 5 tonight.

UPDATE: Just checked Zap2it and they're showing HBP will be on September 9 (Wednesday, of course ) starting at 4:30 pm - 8. Harry Wednesday's gives a whole new meaning to Hump day!

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

Haven't found a marathon but the next best thing is 13 Nights of Halloween w/ a Potter kickoff. On October 19 @ 1:30pm DH 1 followed by DH 2 @ 5pm. Go here: http://www.ew.com/article/2015/09/02...n-monsters-inc. Apparently they've added new scenes to fit the Halloween theme. Hagrid carves a jack-o-lantern that looks like Snape, Minerva bobs for apples, the trio trick-or-treating on Privet Drive, and the twins egging Malfoy Manor. Can't wait. Dumbledore's belly dancer costume is a hoot.

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

Thanks for the update...why'd they pick the 19th to start showing things, I'll be at work and will miss DH 1 Will the added scenes be in the actual movies or are they going to be shown between times with the commercials? How'd you see Dumbledore in a belly dancing costume Maybe I'll just take a vacation day that day- lol

They're included as deleted scenes on the latest DVD collection: The ultra super final ultimate complete we-really-mean-it-this-time no-kidding honest cross-my-heart would-I-lie-to-you-? absolutely last Harry Potter set, on blu-ray for 599 galleons.

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

Gee the things you miss when you only buy the 'Wizard's Collection'. I just checked YouTube in hopes that someone had posted them, but no luck. Looks like I'll be taking a vacation day and firing up the dvd recorder for sure

Do you know which movie they'll be in? Or will it be extra stuff added between the movies? Someone at another forum was asking after I posted this was coming (I gave you credit for the find ).

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

The extra scenes were just a joke on my part. I thought the emojis made that obvious. The movie schedule is real enough though, as I couldn't fake an Entertainment Weekly link. Maybe Dumbledore as a belly dancer will become one of those urban legends debunked on Snopes now. Hope I didn't cause you any trouble.

I never thought of it til now, but Snape NEVER smiles or laughs in any of the films, if I remember right.

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

YAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Hooray!! Very similar to last year, full marathon just before 13 Days of Halloween. Saturday is all day, starting at 7am w/SS. Looking forward to all those deleted scenes, Petunia cracking eggs, Borgin and Burkes in COS, etc. Eat slugs, Malfoy!
