1. If you could spend a day with any Harry Potter character who would you choose and why?
Albus Dumbledore. All conversations with Dumbledore in the books are golden. How brilliant it would be to talk to someone that wise, knowledgeable, funny, mysterious, open-minded and good-hearted.

2. Which Deathly Hallow would you choose?
Invisibility cloak. I'd love the chance to explore Hogwarts at night, and various forbidden places in the Muggle world. Area 51, for example.

3. Which magical pet would you bring with you to Hogwarts?
An owl. They seem useful and easy to manage (at least in the Harry Potter world), and I feel a kinship with that streak of independence they have. I'd call it Mephistopheles.

Maybe Philly for short.

4. What would be your favorite subject at Hogwarts?
Subjects with a practical side would be my favourite, especially Defense Against the Dark Arts where the theory would be very interesting and worthwhile too.

5. If you could ask J.K. Rowling to write one thing what would it be?
An episode (or as many as she likes, really) of Doctor Who.

6. Would you play Quidditch? If so which position?
I reckon I would! I'd be a Chaser, since I'm good at basketball, and I enjoy getting furiously involved in any sport I play.

7. Which magical career would you choose?
I'd definitely go for some kind of investigation of the magical arts, or applying magic to scientific investigation; the sort of work that is done in the Department of Mysteries, for instance.

8. What would your patronus be?
Tiger. I've always been fascinated by them, and it's my Chinese calendar sign.
...Yeah, I realise that's not how it works, but in a decade of being a Harry Potter (and His Dark Materials) fan, I haven't been able to think of an animal that best represents me.
I'd definitely feel protected by a Tiger Patronus, though.

9. Which magical place would you most like to visit?
Department of Mysteries. I'm in to that freaky stuff.

I agree with everyone else - this is a tight Ravenclaw/Gryffindor choice. I think your answer to #2 pushes it into Gryffindor for me.
